On my DNF, yes it won d@mn! Ok I started through a paid app and paid 30 because I looooove werewolves and I love dark romance, and previous book through the same app is one of my faves so it has to be good……

Spice, when it finally got to it, was there but ugh I did not like how Enzo keeps stringing the FMC Lila around. Yes all for her protection which I’m pretty sure will come around chapter 200 (not a typo y’all this has 300+ chapters), but while deciding not to be with her still pulls her into intense kisses and eventually takes her V card….. at a beach. Hey I love dark, but I’m judging just a little. And then after having his way with her still tells her to not tell anyone because it will get back to their home packs. F*(K you seriously. This is the one time I want the other guy to win…. and maybe that’s where the story is going. BUT not going to spend another 30, which it’s probably more because I’m not even at halfway (close- ended 125) to just see him string along his mate. Unless you want to spend, seriously pick up another book or head over to Galatea- they’ll take over 60 for annual but you have hundreds of books- good ones too- to choose from.

While I don’t mind the story, I’m on Chapter 129 and all that’s basically happened is “she’s my mate, I think I love her but I’ve got to ignore her or she’ll get hurt…..but I can let these other women fall all over me but get jealous when someone looks at her” over and over and over and over again. This story could have been finished way before now. And for someone who is or wants to be a professional write, the spelling and grammar is ATROCIOUS! The author can’t even remember what her MFC name is or how to spell it among many other misspellings. . I’m just reading so MAYBE I can eventually see if the MMC AND the author gets their head out of their behinds and finishes it!

Finally! A werewolf romance fiction that doesn't use SA or the orphaning of its main female character as literary devices to further a plot. Lila is a strong and independent character who also draws support from her family and friends - so her world doesn't simply revolve around her mate.

In contrast to this, Enzo is heavily characterized by his situation - someone stuck between a rock (duty) and a hard place (fate). This is so frequently depicted with a 'darkening of his eyes', that it at times feels reductive. Hoping his character ends up having more emotional range soon.

As with most works in this genre, there are inconsistencies that scream the need for a good editor, for example ages and names of side characters seem to change carelessly.

Nonetheless, one finds many well-rounded side characters with terrific back stories to form an enthralling fantasy world for the reader.

I typically can't keep up with multiple POVs, but because the chapters (and thus POV changes) are so short, everything flows so well. Would love to have a bear POV thrown in, and what their experience is like at Higala Shifter Academy.

Will definitely keep reading!

Cute. Enough action to keep me interested. Glad it was a strong, independent young female with a responsible (i guess) mate, instead of the typical broken female victim finding a strong male savior.

This was a new kind of book to read.
I think it's my first time reading about wolf mates and that universe. The only werewolf I know is Jacob from Twilight 😅 . I have never been interested in them like Dracula and vampires.
This book was the perfect intro to them.

XXX SPOILER ALERT XXX

This book has a big potential for a great series.
The academy and the different species and the mystery and the powers, all make a great book story and plot.

I would have loved to have an intro for this world and to have a great world-building, this is something that in my op would have made this story a 10-star book. I was so intrigued by all that I have read, it is a great story.

Another thing that I was a bit disappointed with is, how Enzo wasn't there in great plot points that had to do with Lila, I was anticipating his appearance each time but he was never really there like she was to him. which made him less of the Alpha we are introduced to. These appearances would have made his character more likable to me since he just kept dismissing Lila almost all the time.

Great read and can't wait to find more about what happens next.

successful storyline with cliffhanger

I like the dual POV and the main characters are worth investing to read about. I HATE it’s a cliffhanger though. The short chapters can be frustrating.

I found this book on g00dNovel and i hate buying coins there. It might be comparable in price though since this only has 49 chapters, which I read in a couple hours and it cost almost $7. I wish she would complete the book and the entire book was for purchase not in chapter 1-49 and 50-__. The next book section I see is $10. I believe I saw there are over 200 chapters so I hope this doesn’t become a $50 book. That would be disappointing.

I enjoyed the book although there are some grammatical errors and incorrect words. She does well writing even though she learned English as a second language. The last chapter is doubled somehow but the second one is extended.

I found this story on a Facebook sponsored app video. It's a continuing story by chapter that you must pay by chapter to read, or wait and read little by little watching video ads.

The story itself is good. The writing, grammar, spelling, etc., is pretty bad. Could use a good editor just for that.

There are currently 320 chapter/episodes. Listed here are only some of them. This is an unfinished story, and I've read so many reviews where people say they gave up simply because it's too much of a pain to a) read in this format, and b) wait for more episodes.

I'm going to try and be patient, but I'm not betting on my ability to stay engaged. Again, good story. Decent character development. Could have been more successful with a real publisher/editor/and different format.

Lila and Enzo😍💥💥 Hot, Hot and Hot!

The meeting and relationship from the very beginning has kept me mesmerized. I have stay glued to this book and could not put it down until completion which only took me three hours. They are such an amazing couple together I wish they would co.e forth and reveal their relationship because it will only make them stronger and everyone safer. I believe her parents already have and idea that they are mated. I just hope that the suspense does not get dragged out through another volume because the writer will lose her audience, especially with the volume prices.💞

It started out really interesting and I loved it. But after a few grammatical errors, I was starting to get a bit frustrated with trying to continue on with the story.

Finally decided to stop because I couldn’t stand reading a chapter and it’s completely missing a scene because the transition made absolutely no sense, come to find out that it was cut off (possibly from the upload?).

It was good too because for once it didn’t have sexual abuse but there are some triggers that I think could affect some people 🤷🏻‍♀️

The book has a very nice storyline, although you never see the end, it ends in a cliffhanger at the climax of the whole story. The grammar was very poorly edited. at times the wrong characters name was used in the storyline. Some details didn’t match the timeline. The more “adult“ scenes seem to be wrote by a middle schooler, who only had experience from what they saw on TV. I would love to find a better written book about werewolves, shifters.

First Book was Pretty Good

I just don’t understand why Enzo thinks he can’t be with Lila. Or having a Mate is such a horrible idea. I know what he has said and thinks. But Lila is a very intelligent and She-wolf. Enzo himself is a strong intelligent man. Sounds like to me. They would make a great match as Mates.

It will be interesting how this story continues to unfold in the second book.😁🤣👍🏼

Secret mates

I love these forbidden alpha mate stories, can't wait to continue the series! This story is based on the FMC who accidentally kissed her professor only to find out he is her mate. She has to hide her feelings for the professor even when she is being attacked by her "enemies." I actually found this story on a ppc site and looked it up on amazon to make sure the author got the credit for it. I'm glad I did!
