Rebel Kings MC #7

Eternally Blessed

Rate this book
Locke

Three is the magic number. I gave them my heart, and they gave me theirs. But the downside of living my best life is that I have everything to lose. And sometimes it’s not the obvious thing that can rip it all away.

It’s fate.

It’s chance.

It’s the worst luck in the world for the soul who least deserves it, and the one cruelty I can’t take.

The one storm we can’t weather.

I’m not a religious man. Not even close. But I’m praying right now.

For her. For him. For me.

Cos there is no us without him, and I won’t survive it if everything we’ve fought for is nothing but a dream.

Eternally Blessed is the seventh instalment in the bestselling Rebel Kings MC series. An MMF romance with strong MM romance content, hurt/comfort, angst, found family, forced proximity, single dad, and friends-to-lovers tropes.

Content warnings for everything you’d expect from a gripping biker romance.

Eternally Blessed is book seven in the Rebel Kings MC series by Garrett Leigh. Books six and seven of this series feature a poly romance between Orla, Nash and Locke. While I feel like book six, Unholy Trinity let us experience the romance between these three as it developed, as we watched them finally give in to the love that binds them together. It also set up the threats that these three as well as the rest of the Kings are facing. And you know that Garrett Leigh will put them all through the wringer before the book is over! And holy moly, did she ever in this one.

We start up where Unholy Trinity ended. You need to have read that book for this one. The whole club is in turmoil. Their hearts are broken as was mine. And Locke! That man! I can’t say much more because I don’t want to be all spoilery but wow! Parts of this were tough I admit.

What Locke was going through wasn’t all the Kings were dealing with though! They had the “Bear” situation to deal with. There were so many secrets between them all which bothered me. Even though I understood why, I still could see that it would backfire on them which it did. Sometimes I wonder how these men (and Orla) even held it together with all they were dealing with. And, as the book progresses, there was another entire whammy that happened! I did not expect that! AT ALL!!!

The entire book was crazy intense and I couldn’t put it down. It’s fairly lengthy and I read it in two days which I felt was pretty fast. There was no way I was going to bed last night without getting to the end! I feel like the ending of this book, as compared to others previously, wrapped things up pretty well, and left the Kings in a pretty good place. There will be one more book in the series, book eight, Divine Heart, which will be Ranger and Viktor’s story! We got to know these two a little bit more in this book and I can’t wait for more. Once again, Garrett Leigh has given us an intense love story that will squeeze your heart along with heart pounding suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It did me anyway. I love my Rebel Kings!

RTC when I can find the words to express how epically brilliant this book is.

***

Every time I think Garrett Leigh has written her best book ever, she brings out another one that just blows me away.

Eternally Blessed is a hard read, don't get any ideas that things are going to be all lovey dovey and smooth sailing, because it's not.

Locke, Orla and Nash go through the mill in this second instalment of their epic romance and there are parts which are pretty hard to read so pay attention to all the trigger warnings.

We start with a flashback - one which continues on from the flashback in Unholy Trinity - before we jump to the after effects of THAT cliffhanger at the end of UT and it's a gut punch from the off.

Locke is missing and the Rebel Kings are in turmoil, They're more than just a motorcycle club, this is a brotherhood, a found family, people who will put their lives on the line for each other.

So dealing with one of theirs in peril is killing them all slowly.

None more so than the Queen of the O'Brian's Orla, and club VP Nash McGovern. They've only just started to feel secure in their throuple and now one part is absent and they don't know how to go on without Locke.

There are some surprises in this book, no spoilers here, but let's just say Garrett weaves in links to her other series' with perfection and my all time favourite character adds another guest appearance to his long list!

With just one more book to go, and I leave you to discover who will feature in that one, Garrett starts the process of pulling all her threads together to weave into this amazing tapestry of hurt/comfort, bad ass bikers willing to do what it takes to bring their lost brother home and a sense that the final confrontation is going to blow the lid of everything that has come before.

It's no secret I'm a Garrett Leigh fan girl, but with the Rebel Kings series, she's gone beyond brilliance and into the stratosphere of excellence.

I cannot wait for Divine Heart!

This made me cry so much!!!

I love the relationship between Nash, Locke and Orla, and it was really put to the test throughout this entire book. That ending though.... I need to see a happy outcome, especially for Nash because he would be amazing. I always find these books hard to review because there's so much going on that it's impossible not to spoil something unless you're super vague!

I'm also so ready for Viktor and Ranger's story now too because we don't really know all that much about them compared to the rest of the characters in this series, so now I'm impatiently waiting 😂

There was so much tension throughout this book that I actually got a headache from it, but I liked how it never let up until the very end. What happened to Locke was heartbreaking; what happened to Nash almost broke me - I cried so much. I really need to go and read Logan's story too now - my TBR is crying from all the Garrett Leigh books I keep finding out about that are connected and haven't read yet 😂

I do think the whole Bear thing was resolved a little too easily, especially after all of the turmoil it caused, but I'm hoping we get to see more of Alexei and Saint's thoughts on the whole situation if there's another volume of additional moments from books 5-8.

Saint is still my absolute favourite character in this series though, and I would read so many more books with him in them.

This series really has its claws in me.

Full disclosure, Nash, Locke and Orla are not my favourite combo in the series but actually this book had so much going on outside their relationship and I lapped that up.

I totally buy the chemistry between Nash and Locke and Nash and Orla… but Locke and Orla? I feel like they’re besties and I actually don’t enjoy spicy scenes with the two of them. I’m not sold on them as a romance.

As always I’m gagging for any Alexei moments and while this book had plenty, there’s still never enough.
I read this in basically 2 sittings and it’s pretty long. Totally devour-able and brings the high drama this series always delivers.

I’m already excited for Viktor and Ranger’s book 😍 but also I would take 5 more books about Alexei, Cam and Saint 😂😂

*I received a free ARC of this book via Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review.

Yes to everything about this series and everyone in it.
Locke is the strongest steadiest mf to ever exist. But he had to break at some point and I'm so happy Nash and Orla were there for him. They have such a sweet love *sighs*
This book has one of my biggest triggers, which is forced drug abuse and I wasn't ready for it. But I'm letting you know just in case.
Also what did Viktor's note say!!?

December 2024: I was really hoping that I’d feel the bond between Orla and Locke this time around. Sadly, I still feel like they’re two BFFs who have sex with a man with whom they are both madly in love. Other than that, I enjoyed my reread. 😊

April 2024: Oh, Gosh! What to say… There was so much going on in this book! Orla and Nash have had a bond thing going on from book one. It’s a given that they have a strong relationship between them. I can feel their love. Locke and Nash have a solid friendship/love going on too. Their love bond is solid and I felt their relationship settle into something stronger in this book. My issue was between Orla and Locke. They throw their I love yous to each other, but I can’t get on board with actually feeling anything between them other than a friendship and their mutual, deep love for Nash. So, to me, this doesn’t feel like a true triad relationship. There were never any loving times between just Orla and Locke. The only time they’d have sex was if Nash was there. On the flip side of that, they each had alone time with Nash that didn’t involve the other.

I didn’t care for the side story involving Bear. He was always the creeper mechanic from River’s shop that no one in the MC really took a liking to. I wish the side story followed that vein, but it got wonky and felt underdeveloped – like it was just thrown in there. It created all this stress, but then ended suddenly with a feeling of “that’s it?” Not really a solid explanation that satisfied me.

The parts of the story that I loved were how the club men and their SOs all pull together to support each other no matter what. In between chapters 15 and 16, we get an “interlude.” This was fabulous!! It’s a few groups of texts back and forth between various King members and parts are so funny. It was great to break the tension of what was happening. I also loved how Locke’s daughter bonded with Nash and Orla. We got time with lots of different guys like Rubi, and others from previous books, but the focus wasn’t really on Nash/Orla/Locke’s relationship. It was about Locke, and it was about Nash, but not the triad. I still love Orla. She’s a strong, kick-ass woman, but she felt superfluous to Nash and Locke’s relationship. Nash and Locke needed each other to calm and settle themselves, and it was felt throughout the two books.

Ultimately, 5 stars for Locke and Nash! 5 stars for all the MC stuff going on. But 2 stars for the triad relationship. It just feels like Orla is Nash’s girlfriend, whom he loves but he shares with the man he loves deeply. Locke loves Nash with all his heart, but Orla is his BFF/f*ck buddy.

To be honest, this book was a lot different than I thought it was going to be. I was expecting a bit more of Locke/Nash/Orla and their actual relationship but this book ended up being more club business than it was romance. There was definitely some romance and scenes with all three main characters but more so each of the characters (specifically Locke and Nash) were going through other things that were directly related to the club.

I thought that the chapters of Nash and Locke were well written and I felt like they were really going through it and their inner monologues made me emotional. I did feel like there were too many club plotlines and other plotlines that it distracted from Nash/Orla/Locke having more page time together. I also didn't think that Orla had enough page time in general.

Overall, I just feel like Nash/Orla/Locke didn't get as much time to develop as Saint/Alexei/Cam did so while I do love them all together I wish they just had more moments together especially since Nash/Orla has been teased since book 1. However, the book itself wasn't a bad book - it tied up a majority of lingering club plots and also introduced a new couple which I am very excited about.

Updated review - SEMI SPOILER INCLUDED

Ok so I was thinking about this book a lot and because I love Garrett so much I didn't want to give this less than 4 stars...but realistically this was more of a 3 star book because the romance was just very much lacking and I honestly think Orla was very much sidelined. Nash/Locke seemed to have a stronger connection, I just didn't see how Orla really fit. I think because the series was so MM focused Nash/Locke were given more time to develop than Orla was with both of them. I also did not love the ending in which something Orla talks about not being able to do throughout the book she is somehow able to suddenly do.

*i received an arc and this is my honest review.

After the ending of Unholy Trinity I’m sure I’m not alone in saying I was chomping at the bit for Eternally Blessed and my goodness was is worth the wait. This series is up there at the top of my all time favourites and I can’t see it changing place anytime soon with the way it’s going.
We’re back with Nash, Orla and Locke for the rest of their story and what a story it is, the connection they have forged and the love they share is beautiful. Theres’s more action, more chaos, more Rebel Kings shenanigans but at the heart of it the gorgeous love story of our main throuple. I simply adore characters and the rest of the Rebel Kings.

Garrett Leigh has a way of writing soulmates that feels so authentic and more believable than many fated mate romances. But it's more than romantic soulmates. The Rebel Kings family is equally important to each romance in this series. The way they all unconditionally love and protect each other is fiercely beautiful.

In this one, we continue Nash, Locke, and Orla's story from book six. The first third of this book is devastating, but powerfully written. I love that Leigh doesn't minimize the effects of trauma, both for the person directly involved, and all the people who love them. It's so well done, and makes the victories that much more meaningful.

I can't emphasize enough how much I love everyone in this MC club, and am so happy we're getting (at least?) one more book.

This is book 2 for the Orla, Nash, Locke love story. (Books 6 and 7 of the Rebel Kings MC series.)

I went in not expecting much because I didn't enjoy book 6 as much as the rest of the series, not sure if I was getting series fatigue or because it was MMF.

Book 6 ended in a major cliffie, and of course I didn't remember jack shit, so I had to go back and reread. This book pleasantly surprised me with a hell of a lot more angst, pain, and trauma. Locke is Logan's twin brother from Christmas on Firefly Hill, and I've been waiting for his story since I started this series.

All of Locke's background came out, and the secrets different club members have been keeping from each other (to protect them) start unravelling and causing rifts between everyone.

There is on-page torture of Locke and Viktor, a bit of murdering, blood, survival, etc. Logan also appears and has great cameos in person and via text messages.

I loved the pain and suffering, and it was with the entire club, everyone dealt with it differently. Leigh really does a great job staying true to all of the many characters, even if you have a shit memory like me, your memory will be jogged because each character's behavior is always on point.

I couldn't put the book down, and that's because the action and angst was nonstop, even after Locke returns. Leigh really put everyone through the ringer.

I'm looking forward to Viktor and Ranger's book next! (They both had significant roles in this book.)

River was around more too, and the scenes with all three siblings were great.

Oh, and Dr Marc from Soul to Keep shows up again in a longer scene, he is great!

Also, for Logan and Remy fans, the visits to Firefly Hill are fantastic and were worth the VERY long wait.

Highlights:

• Rubi sniffed and stood tall again. “Anyway, this gangland kidnap bullshit is fucking with my hipster life plans, so I’m going to go bang your brother instead.”

• “I wish we’d never met him.” His voice was a whisper. A rough scrape of sound that plunged a dagger into my heart.

• Cam had got filthy drunk once and treated me to an hours-long conversation about how entrenched Saint and Alexei were in his head. How, in his darkest moments, he heard their voices when he needed them most. A week later, Alexei had told me the same thing and I’d decided in that moment that the three of them belonged together because they were all fucking crazy.

• “There’s only one way to get over killing someone, and that’s by spending the rest of your days making sure your life is worth more than the one you took.”

• I’m alive. I love you. It made me cry, and I felt no shame. No fuckin’ embarrassment. I hid my face in his neck and wept, and I didn’t give a single fuckin’ fuck.

Okay, I enjoyed this one slightly more than book 6 and that was due to the plot.

If I'm honest, I really disliked the dynamic between Orla, Nash & Locke. Whereas Alexei, Saint and Cam worked as a polyamorous couple I didn't feel the same towards these three. Is Orla supposed to feel like a third wheel? Probably not.

However, I absolutely adore Locke and think he deserves the entire world. And I love that he has Nash and Orla.

But yeah... the vibe in certain parts of this book just didn't feel right to me.

However, I am BEYOND excited to start Ranger and Victor's book. I ws thinking about them whilst reading Onyx Storm.

Book Series Ranking:
1. Devil's Dance & Saint's Song - 5 stars! (Alexei, Saint & Cam) - Book 1 & 2
2. Reluctant Renegade - 5 stars! (Folk & Decoy) - Book 5
3. Eternally Blessed - 4.25 stars! (Orla, Nash & Locke) - Book 7
4. Unholy Trinity - 4 stars! (Orla, Nash & Locke) - Book 6
5. Love Thy Brother - 4 stars! (River & Rubi) - Book 4
6. Forgive Me Father - 3 stars! (Mateo & Embry) - Book 3

My heart was in my throat for most of this book. It is ~110,000 words of heartburn, heartbreak, heartache, and healing. The characters are all vivid and real to me, even the kids, so everything that happens feels personal. I was in tears more than once.

For those who have not read the series - start at the beginning. You'll be glad you did. You should know, however, that Unholy Trinity and Eternally Blessed are MMF. I'm obsessed with this series and all the books associated with it, so I knew early on that if Garrett wrote Locke, Nash, and Orla together, I would be all over it, and I was right. Even if I didn't read MMF on occasion, I'd have read these books because I love these three that much. There's plenty of Locke and Nash time in each book, and Orla is such a badass. She shows just how much of one in Eternally Blessed. No spoilers, but I'd worship her, too.

This book starts off with a flashback, then picks up where Unholy Trinity left off, with that heart-rending cliffhanger, so you must have read what came before to truly understand what's going on.

I can't begin to express how grateful I am that there's at least one more Rebel Kings book left to come, Viktor & Ranger's book Divine Heart, because as wonderful as Eternally Blessed is, I still want more from this world and those it touches.

My review doesn't begin to do this book or those that came before justice, but I will tell anyone who'll listen to read the series.

I sat with my feelings before I could write out this review. I love this series, and this book is no different, but I need to express my added angst in a way that I hope makes sense.

These books are like coming home. Every single main character in this series has a piece of my heart. But Orla has held a huge chunk of my heart from the beginning because she was the woman amidst the sea of men. You just knew her strength had to be phenomenal, and this duet proves it. I really wish we could have more backstory on her with Nash and a firsthand account of their love over the years. We get bits and pieces from the other stories, but because I knew of their struggle before Cam gave his okay, I missed witnessing that connection come to fruition. There's a reason this matters, so bear with me.

In Unholy Trinity, we watched Locke get close to Orla while Nash was busy with club business A LOT. I felt their bond, and I relished watching it deepen. Toward the end, we saw Orla encourage Nash and Locke to solidify their own bond, and I adored Orla for it even more. They were finally becoming a unit of three before the cliffhanger.

Moving into Eternally Blessed, Nash and Orla fell apart without Locke, and while I get it, I really do, it hurt me that they couldn't rely on each other and take solace with one another in the few moments they stole while fighting to get Locke back. It was almost like they were strangers. I didn't expect lovey dovey stuff, but I thought they would seek each other out for comfort. That was not the case, and Orla broke my heart over and over with her understanding Nash's pain, while it seemed like she pushed her own aside, and he let her. I think if I'd gotten more of their dynamic alone and in past years before Locke entered the picture, it might have helped me understand them better.

Enter Locke returning. It's not an easy road back to the place they were in before he was taken, of course it wasn't. But it felt like Nash and Locke reaffirmed their love and Orla kinda lay by the wayside. This was partly her own doing because, once again, she kept stepping aside and allowing them time alone to heal. Listen, I KNOW the strength of her character, so I believe she's fine, but my heart squeezed each time she put their needs above her own, and they let her. Before reading the epilogue, I was left feeling almost like she was an outlier in her own relationship.

Now, having said all this, the epilogue did help me resolve most of this sad feeling. I know Nash and Locke love Orla. I just hated feeling like their love overshadowed their love for her.

I will re-read this many times in the future because this series is one of my absolute faves. I love the books. I love the characters. And I will recommend this series. I bonded so deeply with Orla that if I were her friend in real life, I would hug her so hard. She's the type of character that even though her appearances aren't as often, her presence sticks with you. I hope we can see some extended scenes and much more of these three in the next Outtakes version!

I loved this, but also the introduction of who the next couple will be made me SO GODDAMN excited for book 8 that I really feel bad. It's honestly because I had 0 expectations for either of them getting a book for some reason and now I'm super duper hype. I honestly craved them more than Locke/Nashe/Orla and was alllll in with the little bits and teases we got. 😂 I think reading this immediately after 6 would've been a better experience, but I love the differences between this trio and the first trio. There was also so much going on in these books that moved the bigger MC politics/dynamic/story forward compared to some earlier ones that in a way, it felt like we had some less time with the romance buildup. I think it's mostly because we see a lot of that in prior books anyway that this felt more like the payoff/aftermath.

I actually thought this series was going to end with this book or maybe one more, but with everything that's introduced, I now have no idea where the end goal is and that makes me suuuperr excited. I love that we also see even more crossovers with Garrett's other series too. I'm still here for the ride if she ends up writing 4+ more though because I will forever gobble up anything with this big cast. 🤣

I was dying to read this book after the cliffhanger that ended the previous story: Locke has being kidnapped and the Rebel Kings are struggling to find him.
The book begins with a flash back: Nash's first meeting with Locke and I loved it! Nash connected with him at first sight. It was also nice to see the dynamic between Locke, Folk and Ranger when they were still Crows.
What I loved most about this story:
Nash and Locke's reconnection after Locke's captivity (oh boy, when he saw each other again...);
Locke and Logan's relationship (I was so happy to see him, Remy and the children);
all the gang very much present in this book (even if Embry seems to be a little distant from all the Rebels, his presence was always kept in the shadows);
Locke and Nash's sex scenes: steamy, heartwarming, highly emotional, these two scream soulmates everytime they're together.

What prevented me from giving a higher rate:
Like I said in my review of Unholy Trinity, in my opinion Orla and Locke are very close friends who have sex together, they lack the emotional connection that bond Nash and Locke.
In this book Orla seems even more separated from the others: yes, there a lot of talk about feelings and being soulmates and having her own heart ripped apart when she's not close to them, but I didn't feel it.
Nash and Locke are on another level of intimacy and emotions. Nash's guilt for not protecting Locke, Locke thinking about Nash to find the strenght to survive his captivity... they're constantly on each other's mind. And they have sex alone, just the two of them.
Orla doesn't and after two very long books, there's still not one sex scene with Locke and Orla without Nash present.
It's clear that Nash and Locke connect on another level, they can function alone without Orla., sadly their triad is nothing like Cam, Saint and Alexei.
At this point of the series, I'm starting to believe Orla could have had a better match and an epic love story with another woman.

What happens at the end of the book has been always considered impossible, so it seemed a bit unrealistic to me.

Next book will be about Viktor and Ranger and I'm already very much invested in their story.

I received an ARC of this book from Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review.

I have to work my way up to starting these (knowing the trauma that will happen), but once I am immersed, there's nowhere else I want to be.

Love all these brothers (and sisters).

ran off and found a collection of outtakes. Am currently reading those.

And apparently there's at least one more book. Yay.

Love love.

I love these 3 and watching them get their HEA was perfect! Orla is one of my favorite female characters and the way Nash and Locke love her…chefs kiss! And Nash and Locke…sign me up for these two coming into their dynamic more confidently!!!

As usual I love all my other men from this series and this found family is by far one of my absolute favorites ever!

Just ok for me

Just like part one of this duo this one was just okay to me. Nothing changed enough from the first one to make me feel differently about them. I think the poly aspect was not balanced enough. And for my personal taste if there isn't balance with these relationships it doesn't work. If i go by what i felt for these two books Orla should end up with Locke and Nash should have got someone else. I would have preferred Nash getting someone else if this is how it was going to go down. I adore Nash which is why i was so disappointed with these two books he felt like an after thought. I felt the bond that formed between Orla and Locke came off strong and nothing else came close to it. I really wanted the feelings Locke said he had for Nash before becoming a King to grow to this amazing thing but it never happened for me Locke felt more focused on Orla. As the book went on even his inner dialogue sounded more taken by Orla than Nash. Even the bond Orla and Nash had before these books just was not there for me anymore. She was more worried about Locke than Nash when he got injured and that doesnt feel right for someone who apparently waited forever to have him so badly. So for me because i wanted this beautiful strong thing between Locke and Nash and what i got was more Orla i didn't end up liking any of it. I actually went from loving Orla through the other books to not liking her by the end of these two she felt like she ended up with the most of everything and it took from the rest. I hope everyone else enjoys them though and feels the connection that was meant to be there because i didn't feel it. It's a good set of books if you like Orla with Locke though i guess.

From an analytical point of view, for a book that is meant to be romantic, the romance part of this is less than it should be but I’m biased bc if this author release a book and told me that Alexei coughed in it so I should read it, you better believe I will buy that shit.

The writing is immaculate. So good, flipping through the pages isn’t a hardship, the found family? Elite.
The love? Ughhh it’s too amazing to be that minimally shown on page. And by the stars, please give this characters a fucking break.😭

Eternally Blessed is the seventh book in Garret Leigh's Rebel Kings MC series. Eternally Blessed is the conclusion to the polyamorous duet that begins with Unholy Trinity. Please note that this series should be read in order. Here's what you can expect from Nash, Orla, and Locke:

🖤 MMF dark romance
🖤 First person triple point of view
🖤 Guaranteed happily ever after
🖤 Motorcycle club romance
🖤 Hurt/comfort
🖤 Found family
🖤 Best friend's sister
🖤 Forced proximity
🖤 Single dad
🖤 Friends to lovers
🖤 Angst

As always, ensure you review the content and trigger warnings to decide if this book is right for you. Note that this list of warnings and triggers may be incomplete. Please take care of yourself while reading.

Although Garrett left us hanging with a cliffhanger at the end of Unholy Trinity, we get their well-deserved happily ever after in this book! As you can imagine, it's going to hurt first. It's another amazing addition to the series, and everytime I pick up one of her books, I'm fully immersed and simply can't put it down.

I really enjoyed the dynamics between these three characters. Love doesn't take any one shape, way, or form and Garrett executes that with the love this threesome share. Orla is such a badass, and I fell in love with here a little bit more in Eternally Blessed. She's not just their queen now, she's our queen! Polyamorous relationships are difficult to balance and write, but I'm really impressed with how these three are different from Cam, Saint, and Alexei yet work flawlessly. Their relationship as three is just as strong as their relationships with one another.

This book also has all kinds of amazing Kings content! The relationships we learned about in the first five books are growing and changing, and I love that we get to see glimpses of that as they're woven into this story. The flashbacks in this book were important to the development of the story, and it really gave us insight into Nash and Locke in particular. The last third of this book had me on the edge of my seat, which really surprised me based on the cliffhanger. The end of this book is not only the perfect happily ever after for the main three, but amazing for the found family as a whole. This series means so much to me. Eternally Blessed is the perfect ending for Nash, Locke, and Orla. Garrett broke our hearts (she also scared the living daylights out of me the first time I read the last third of this book), but she always puts us back together. Locke and Viktor forged a unique relationship in this book, and I'm so intrigued to read his and Ranger's story in Divine Heart.

THIS. SERIES.
and the absolute hold that it has on me!!

I've said this before, but the thing that Garrett Leigh does so well in this series is how she infuses the found family vibes into almost every chapter. So, I did like our throuple in this story, but they weren't the highlight for me. The way she involved our entire cast of characters is what did it for me.

Let's talk about the throuple quickly so we can get that out of the way. Nash + Orla + Locke. I think Nash and Orla worked for me. Nash and Locke also worked for me. Orla and Locke? I'm not sold on them. Maybe Nash just works for me, so I'm not feeling it without him? Maybe Nash is the glue. It isn't that I actively disliked Orla and Locke, it's just that their chemistry felt forced? Or maybe felt more friendly and familial than romantic. I feel like Orla and Locke were giving similar vibes to Orla and Rubi, for example.

Now the plot? Lots going on in these last 2 books which, to me, is really one story split in two. And there's a lot happening here, so I understand splitting it. Thankfully in Decoy & Folk's story we got a lot of background info on the Crows, so it helped fill in some gaps here so that the plot could keep moving and we didn't have too much starting and stopping. The last few stories (#4 and #5) felt really centered around our couple and not so much with MC business, but this story felt more balanced and the MC business and romance plots felt more woven together in a way that worked for me.

And let's just say.. poor, poor Locke. What a teddy bear that just got the shit end of the stick.

Also, man, I just love Nash. A really great character and I have no complaints. I guess the weak link here in Orla, but it's not that I disliked her. It's just that she wasn't giving me anything unique or critical for my enjoyment of the story. I have no idea if that makes any sense. The best thing she did was take care of *the situation*, but even that I have a little complaint about. Not that she did it, because loved that moment, but that it all happened at like 50% -ish and without as much fanfare as I wanted. After the horrible situation, I guess I just wanted a lot more. Like.. SO much more.

Overall, this was another fantastic installment to the Rebel Kings series. In full disclosure though, my reviews on this series can't be trusted anymore. I'm too invested in this little found MC family and I love it too much, so anything that Garrett Leigh gives us in this world is going to be something I love. I can't think critically when she gives us an Alexei smirk or a Saint hug or a Rubi-ism. I'm so looking forward to Viktor & Ranger next and I'm already sad that we might be getting to the end of this series. I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE!

Finally - WHAT DID VIKTOR'S LETTER SAY TO LOCKE?! How could you leave that as a loose thread?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO US?! Respectfully, of course.

I felt like this was a solid installment in the series, though at times, the inner monolgies and extensive descriptions felt like a lot.
I am glad that Viktor and Locke's escape wasn't too far into the book and wasn't what the whole plot was focused on. There were enough exciting storyline going to keep attention and be ready for the next book. I listen to these (reading them on my own doesn’t hit me the same way) so I'll wait with bated breath for the audio release.

Eternally Blessed is the second part of Nash, Orla and Locke’s story and you must read it after part one (Unholy Trinity). Eternally Blessed is 7th book in the Rebel Kings MC series and I would recommend reading the series in order.

I was so excited and desperate for this book! I read Unholy Trinity multiple times and was completely obsessed.

This book carries on straight after the cliffhanger with a few flashbacks that give us even more insight into the connection between the three fantastic MCs. The plot is very fast pace with lots of action.

What Locke went through caused my heart to break for him. He is my favourite character in this series; he’s so strong and selfless - I just love him. Garrett Leigh’s writing style during that period was insanely good, I felt just as chaotic and worried as the characters. It moved me to tears and caused me to bookmark an inane amount of times. His escape managed to both shock me and make me feel so proud of him for his strength, but also so on edge!
Orla is the queen and she shows it in this book. Nothing more is needed to be said.
Nash - sweet Nash is amazing as well. He’s so concerned about Locke, blaming himself and dealing with other things, he rarely focuses on himself.
These three are the perfect trio together and their chemistry continues to light the pages on fire.

Leigh did a incredible job with side characters: Folk, Alexei, Viktor, and doctor Marc - she wrote these so well, without taking away from the MCs, that I’m interested in reading Marc’s book now.

I have grown to love these characters and feel like they are friends. I felt like I wasn’t just reading about Nash, Orla and Locke’s love story, but also about the entire MC family. The bonds between these characters are so strong, they know each other so well and yet at the same time are still learning. The interlude text exchanges was a testament to this, but it was also touched on so many times in the book.

I did feel like a character comeuppance was anti-climatic. However, I certainly found a certain event after that to be heart-stopping! Not only did I not see this coming but it was so stressful and emotional.

This next point isn’t a criticism just something I wished had happened. I wanted Locke’s family to know what happened to him, it seemed so unfair how much he had suffered for them and they didn’t know. I get that Locke isn’t the type of person who would want them to know as he would see it as an unnecessary burden to them, but I do think it would have helped him. I just think things at the end of the book felt unfinished.

Overall, this heartfelt romance has it all. Two sexy heroes, a strong heroine, humour, heat, and lots of heart. I highly recommend!
Really looking forward to the next book, hope we find out what Viktor wrote to Locke…

This book contains triggering content such as violence, torture, kidnapping, drug use/ forced drug use, past sexual trauma/abuse, historical and implied self-harm and suicidal ideation, serious illness survival, domestic violence, war, car crash, murder, infertility, and off-page historical pregnancy loss.

Ugh I ate this book UPPPPPPP!!!!!!! I love the trio with my whole soul but I can't lie I have a soft spot for Locke and Nash's bond in particular. Their moments just hit me right in the solar plexus. Nash must be protected at ALL COSTS. They need to cuddle him and love on him for the rest of their days.

The cameos in this one GAVE ME LIFE!

CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW EXCITED I AM FOR RANGER'S BOOK!?!?!?!?!?!

This D@mn Tri, man..

I didn’t think anything could top Lexi,Cam and Saint— but I have to say.. I was totally wrong.

Don’t get me wrong, I love all the rebel kings.. but there is something so special about Orla, Loke and Nash. The relationship between all three is so unique and rare, it knocks you backwards.

I can’t get enough and I HAVE to know more of their HEA.

When characters are almost dying every fucking time, I begin to pass out, when everybody in a book is being called brother, I get sleepy. Aside that, this book ate💖😩, this author knows how to keep me on my toes, I love it. I love the insane chemistry between those three so much. Looking forward to the last book.

Locke has a special place in my heart. I love how much of a constant he is, and when he broke, his two soulmates were there for him. The usual drama and MC politics, which was a good time as always. I loved getting to meet all the characters that were discussed in unholy trinity. I’m definitely going to read Lo and Remys book. And obviously finish the RK series. I’ll be sad for it to end.
