Batman #613 is a blast from start to finish. What begins as a classy night at the opera for Bruce and Selina quickly unravels when Harley Quinn crashes the scene—bringing chaos, danger, and a whole lot of fun. The issue balances sharp action with great character moments, and the tension builds knowing Joker can’t be far behind. Loeb and Lee continue to deliver on the Hush arc with style and energy. A super enjoyable issue that mixes elegance and madness in true Gotham fashion.
Bruce attends the opera with Selena Kyle, Leslie Thompkins, and Tommy Elliot, but Harley Quinn crashes the show. Bruce manages to slip away to don his suit, and a showdown between Batman, Catwoman and Harley goes down. Batman is a little surprised by the excess violence demonstrated by Harley, making him suspect that the same hand that has been driving Killer Croc and Poison Ivy is behind this as well.
Bruce takes Selina to the Opera for a normal night with his buddy Tommy Elliot. The show is robbed as Harley Quinn robs the audience, taking Tommy’s necklace given to him by his grandmother. Batman and Catwoman fight against Harley. Catwoman is taken down, and Joker stabs Tommy.

"Alfred will be disappointed. I didn't make it until the intermission."
Harley makes an appearance during a lovely night at the opera with Salina and Bruce. The absolute audacity... An ending I didn't expect the first time I read it.
