This book kept me up. The action and the characters are that compelling. They as we are and have been sinners, and sinners do what sinners do. The author takes up down the ugly side before redemption is accomplished. Even in their fallen state, these characters are easy to like, except Isaac. But as you lean into this novel, your heart will change bec you know that these things in life are very presently with us or in the lives of folks who are near and dear to us.

So much drama! Sin , forgiveness, and restoration. A lot of street life and a lot of "un-holy" church life.

This was a really great book. Loved everything about it. This was the first book I have read from Vanessa Miller and am now a fan. Can't wait to read the next book.
