Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

Drago and Selma

This is a quick, forced marriage romance that was a page turner. Selma’s father and Drago were not good men but the difference was that Drago had fallen for the beautiful woman and had love in his heart for her. This was a hot and steamy book that had me falling in love with this couple.

Part of the Crave and Claimed series each can be read as a standalone but why read just one when you can read the entire series 😊. Drago sexy as all get out dangerous man who don’t hear the word (No) said to him often when he does it brings out his dangerous side, his ruthless side, and his deadly side forcing him to do bad things. He discovers his enemy has a daughter one he has done pretty good at hiding he decides to go after her but he needs her father’s help to get that… you guessed the information will be taken by force if necessary Selma is so sweet growing not a part of her father’s world until she meets a man she knows is bad, does her best to stay away from him yet when he takes her and her father asks her to marry him to save his life giving her not choice especially seeing some of the bad this man can do her only choice is to marry him but she isn’t happy. After one threat of running he locks her in her room for a month or so waking her up to her new reality but can they truly be happy considering she was forced, does Drago have any redeeming qualities, can he get her to like him, let alone love him, and can they find a balance the allows them happiness?

Crave and Claimed Book 5 - Sold To The Enemy - Sam Crescent

Drago Jones is a crime lord that has had to deal with his enemy George Kent for years. After one chance encounter where Drago meets Selma Kent George's daughter all bets are off. Drago knows without question Selma is his and will stop at nothing until she belongs to him in every way imaginable. I absolutely loved this story another great addition to a series that deserves more recognition I think. The characters were so well suited and I loved the relationship starting to grow between Drago and Selma and the trust they had in each other, as their bond grew and they started to explore what they could have together with some scorching hot scenes as their love began to blossom. Kevin was also a scene stealer through no fault of his own lol. I am excited to see where Sam Crescent goes with the next book in this great series.

Drago always got what he wanted
I’ve got to say I thoroughly enjoyed this book and just could not put it down. Drago was a dangerous man, he always got what he wanted, and he didn’t mind doing the dirty work to achieve it when he finds out that he’s enemy has been hiding his daughter Selma, he goes after her. He didn’t care that he had to torture Selma’s father to get what he wanted. he knew she was sheltered. She was pure, but what shone through was she had a heart of gold. but can he get her to fall in love with him??
These two are so hot Selma is pure, and she doesn’t understand how her body is reacting to Drago but she finally gets a backbone to ask for what she needs. Their passion is off the charts and they build a connection and chemistry that will last a lifetime. Thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed this book..

He Would Find A Way To Claim Her.

The moment he set eyes on her, his obsession began but how to claim her as his own was the problem!

Drago had never had to work for any woman’s attention but Selma meant everything to him, not that she knew but he would do everything in his power to make her happy.

Selma knew Drago was bad and she wasn’t happy about being forced into a situation she had no control over but little by little she was starting to trust and love him but when her father suddenly appeared back in her life, would their tentative happiness be pulled apart or would it make them stronger?

A wonderful, steamy read with a possessive male and a woman who was his everything!.

Those who dare win and in this case Drago dared and he certainly won. He spotted Selma across the room and even though she was his enemies daughter he was going to have her. She was beautiful and different not like him and her father.
He married her and because she threatened to run kept her in her room for a month.
Selma, she met Drago at a party and was taken with him, but what she didnt expect was for her father to ask her to save his life by marrying him. She knew her father was a bad man and thought Drago was the same, but he showed her a side to him that she came to love.

This story was absolutely brilliant to read! Loved the storyline and loved Dragos personality even though he was thought to be a bad man.

Selma is exactly the opposite of her father and Drago wants her. He’s a bad man, but her father is much worse. Selma is a beautiful, thoughtful, and kind woman who cut herself out of her father’s life and spreads her positive energy to others, especially fur babies. Drago slowly learns how valuable she is and their relationship grows stronger with communication.

Sam Crescent takes men who use brutal methods to secure their lives and introduces women who bring out their hearts. Drago teaches Selma about sex and she teaches him about the emotional connection. They’re so sexy: he’s.a dirty talker and she is so responsive! I love the epilogues!.

Selma knew her father was a bad man but she did not think he would sacrifice her for him. Now she is married to Drago and locked up all day. Her father told her Drago is a monster but there is something about him that makes her feel safe.

Drago is determined to tread carefully with Selma, he wants to make her happy. Can his wife be happy with him?

Selma is the beautiful daughter of a criminal who is Drago's enemy. When Drago first sees Selma, it's love at first sight for him. A year later, he demands her in marriage in exchange for her dad's life. She agrees and finds herself falling in love with him. While she knows he does bad things, he's nothing like her father, who is truly evil. The chemistry between them was hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot 🔥. I loved how Drago, while fierce, was a big old teddy bear for Selma. We also got an amazing HEA. This was another great read from Sam Crescent.

Drago had wanted Selma when he first saw her. But to get her he had to strike a deal with her father. Selma couldn’t believe that her father made this deal. But Drago wasn’t all he seemed to be. I have to say I was surprised. Drago isn’t as bad of a man as he seems. Her father is a cold-hearted man and what you learn about him, man he is cruel. His fate is what he deserved. Drago romanced his wife and showed her the real man. For Selma she got more than she ever thought. These two both found love, happiness, and family. I great Christmas read.

Selma is sold off in marriage to pay the debts of her father.
She and her father did not see eye to eye on how he ran his business. They are the complete opposite of each other.
Selma fears the man she was forced to marry is no better than her father, in this she would prove to be mistaken.
Drago Jones has been a gentle and sincere so far, not forcing Selma to accept his company until she was ready.
Their connection and relationship takes time to build and develop.
Storyline ends in an HEA both characters find what than they need in each other.

Told in dual POV, this novella was well-written and engaging. I love a story that involves the guy falling first and a reluctant h. Although they were from enemy families Drago did not seek revenge or bully Selma. He tried to get her to fall in love with him, and she was resentful due to being in a forced marriage. How they navigated the relationship and slowly developed trust and mutual feelings is what kept me engaged. This was a great short story to fill 2 hours.

A Mafia man who I thought was surprisingly sweet.

Drago saw her, wanted her, and set about getting her in a typical mafia man way, by backing her Father into a corner and forcing marriage, in which Selma didn't have a choice.

And yet, found Drago to be sweet for a mafia man (only toward Selma) which made a nice difference for this book, seeing their relationship develop and the steps Drago took to woo Selma (after she had already been forced to marry him).

A quick, spicy, enjoyable, mafia read.

This was a story that hooked you from the start. Drago and Selma meet at a party and he immediately knows that he wants her, but it is not that easy because he finds out that she is the daughter of his great rival. When her father feels wet, he offers his daughter to save herself. I enjoyed the way he dealt with Selma differently than he normally is, hard, unyielding, dangerous, but that side is not visible in her.

Sweet Mafia Romance

Drago is used to getting what he wants and he wants Selma, his rival’s daughter. Determined to have her, he sets about creating a situation where he is in control and her father has no choice but to give her to Drago.

Even though Drago is a man to be feared, he is nothing but caring and protective towards Selma. This starts out as an enemies to lovers but very quickly these two realize they were never enemies. Overall, sweet story with a happy ever after.

I adore this author, some books/series more than others, but I’ve not yet started a Sam Crescent book I didn’t finish.

Drago wanted Selma, so Drago got Selma. But he didn’t have HER. Give me a book hero that knows what he wants, and I’m a happy little reader. I found this mafia story to be sweet. I found Drago to be sweet. Both in very good ways.

This is book is novella length, and I felt the author did a great job telling this story. I look forward to more from this author.

Drago and Selma's father were already enemies, however after seeing Selma, Drago works to put her father in a position where he had to give her to Drago if he wanted to live. Her father doesn't put up much of a fuss. Despite how Drago acquires her, he isn't brutal with her and she slowly develops feelings for him.

The story isn't overly long and it doesn't dig too deeply, however, it is enjoyable and I liked the main characters.

Drago saw Selma with George, one of his enemies, at a party. Biding his time, Drago use George's weakness to take what he wanted and that was Selma.

This may have been a shorter read but Sam Crescent always makes sure her readers get a full on story! Selma is given to Drago and while she hated what her father did, she is also worried that maybe Drago is the same way. Over time, you can see them both shifting their thinking about each other. Great storyline, good writing and lots of steamy sexy scenes.

it was all good , no tension or whatsoever.
I needed more sparks,more chemistry , it was all flat.

Sweet, but forgettable. I liked the characters with Selma, being the sheltered daughter her father traded away, and Drago, the ruthless man who came up from nothing to get everything he wanted. it was a nice story, but it lacked angst, conflict or any real emotion. Nice afternoon read, but not worth a second look.

Wow, I loved this novel! From the first chapter I was hooked, this novel was short but it was so good! I loved Drago and Selma. I loved how Drago loved Selma and took her away from the her horrible father. Their chemistry was so good. I could not put this novel down, I needed to know what was coming next. It was so good! This is the fifth book in this incredible series, and this is Drago and Selma’s story.
This is a well written action packed story, which is a short read, with romance, emotions, family, forced marriage, palpable chemistry, passion, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.

Loved it. Once I started reading Sold to the Enemy I couldn’t put this book down. Is Dargo really the enemy because he would do anything for Selma. The chemistry between Selma and Dargo is steamy HOT and I loved their story. Awesome story!

This one was a nice quick read. Full of spice, low angst, some action being a mafia romance. I liked the growing relationship between Selma and Drago. He was patient and she learned how to ask for what she wanted. It was an enjoyable read.

This is another wonderful romance for the series and I love that he fell first. Drago knew he would do anything for Selma's love and sets about making sure it happens ;) He was definitely a possessive man but his kindness and patience got him that chance at a fab and steamy HEA. Good fun!

There's nothing remarkable about the FMC except that she was the total opposite of her father. She was good and he was evil.

To quote the author, the MMC is a bad man with morals. How he is a bad man, we don't know but he does have his morals.
