Immersive, sharp, and genuinely unsettling

This was a surprisingly strong collection of short horror stories. Each story felt distinct, well written, and thoughtfully paced. No filler, not recycled ideas.

What stood out most is how immersive the writing is. I didn’t skim or skip ahead once, which is rare for short story collections. Every story pulled me in and kept my attention all the way through.

The variety works in its favour. I enjoyed different moods, different ideas, but a consistent sense of tension throughout. If you enjoy short horror with unpredictable endings and solid writing, this one is absolutely worth reading.

I’m a sucker for a horror story so thought I would give this a go. I enjoyed this little book of short stories. It’s only around 35 pages so not a long read but most of the short stories had me gripped to read to the end. A good one for a quick read.
