Madelyn has a master in agriculture and now starts her new job at the Wild Peach orchard. Asher is the owner (with his five brothers) of the orchard and her new boss. Asher meets Madelyn and is instantly smitten with her,but he was hurt before so he tries to alienate her from himself. But sparks fly and they fall for each other. Asher kind of boycotts their relationship along the way, but the heart wants the heart gets. Instalove, age gap, sweet,bittersweet, miscommunication, steamy, romantic and safe with an awesome HEA 😍😍😍😍 after a bit of angst and a tiny bit of heartbreak😉 Really loved this story👍

I had such high for this book. I was so excited to see older MCs and was looking forward to an amazing story, dialogue and spice. The story was good, the dialogue was painful and the spice was right.
They were too old to be acting the way they were. They were acting like teenagers with the back and forth and “I like you, do you like me?”, plot.
And girl you are 28 and supporting yourself, why are you letting your parents try to arrange a marriage for you?
I will probably read the next book in the series because the younger brothers seem more mature than Asher.

I’m mixed on this- I had higher expectations with older characters. These two were both lacking in dialogue and chemistry. I never felt their connection other than just being hot and continually horny. It was all sexual chemistry and being in love 48 hours into meeting. They behaved like college kids.

The base had potential, but it needed reworked and maybe made longer to develop a stronger plot.

Hope is definitely in a different era with this one. Asher was pure perfection with his love and care for Madelyn. Yes, he got in his head too much, but the way he showed her love and care. Top tier!

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Asher and Madelyn met when she comes to Wild Peach Farms to be the manager. Asher hired Madelyn because the Chef of Police asked him for a favor to hire his daughter's best friend. When Madelyn shows up Asher is having second thoughts of giving her the job. Madelyn is about to walk away when Asher stops her, he doesn't want her to leave. Asher is showing Madelyn around the peach from when he can't take being this close to her without pulling her to him and kissing her. So Asher asks his brother Beau to show her around instead. Madelyn asks Beau about his brother and she gets the assumption that Asher is gay. Later while making dinner Asher and Madelyn are talking and she tells him she understand why he doesn't want her, but when she tells him why he pulls her close to him and she can't feel his arousal. Asher and Madelyn forget about dinner as he takes her to the bedroom and pleasures her then they make love. A few days later Asher catches some of his workers watching Madelyn and he needs to put them in their place. When Madelyn overhears Asher she can't believes him because he's been staring at her all day. Madelyn loves her job and Asher comes to find out she's really good at it. A few days later, while Madelyn and Asher are out pruning the peach trees, he pulls her to him and tells her what he wants to do to her. Madelyn tells him she will let him, Asher takes her to a part of the orchard where no one is working. Asher has his way with Madelyn, but she cuts her hand. Asher feels like it's his fault, and Madelyn tells him she wanted him to do that to her. While they are walking back to the main house, they both notice a car in the driveway. Madelyn tells Asher it's her parents, they are probably here to take her back to New York. Madelyn's parents want her to settle down and have a family. After Asher mets Madelyn's parents he tells them they are dating. Madelyn's parents planned to stay a few days but the next day they head back to New York. Madelyn tells Asher that her mom is probably planning their wedding now that he told her they're dating. While Madelyn is out pruning the trees she forgets her fanny pack, she hears the familiar buzz of a bee near her. Madelyn stops in her tracks and tries to let the bee leave but it keeps getting closer and doesn't leave. When Madelyn feels the sting she takes off running, she knows it's a bad idea but she needs to get back to the house to get her epipen. Madelyn starts screaming as soon as she has the house in her sight, Asher comes rushing out the door with her pen in his hands. Asher carries her to his bedroom and lay her down on his bed, he wants to take her to the hospital but Madelyn tells him she'll be find after she sleeps. Asher stays by her side the whole time, he takes care of her while she sleeps. When Madelyn wakes up Asher helps her shower, she tells him she's fine but he won't leave her side. The next day Asher has a fanny pack with one of Madelyn's epipens, just in case she forgets it. Asher asks Madelyn if he can take her out on a date and she agrees. After they shower off their day they head to town in the golf cart. Madelyn notices all the woman look their way while they are at the restaurant. Madelyn asks Asher if he's a player, he tells her he's not, he just hasn't dated since he divorced his ex-wife. While Asher and Madelyn are talking he wants to know all about her, and she wants to know about him. When Madelyn is telling Asher about how much she likes to travel, he feels she is just like his ex-wife and won't be happy settling down. When they get back to the house Asher tells Madelyn he has an early morning and leaves her at her bedroom, then heads to his. Madelyn hesitate for a few minutes then knocks on Asher's door. Madelyn asks him if he's breaking up with her, Asher tells her no, he's trying to save her from him. Asher tells her she's only here for the summer then she'll head back home or someplace else. Madelyn tells him if he wants to keep making up excuses for them not to be together then maybe they shouldn't be together. Asher tells her he's a fool and that he does want her, Madelyn takes him back. The next day Madelyn needs to call her best friend she's been calling, when she finished the phone call Asher comes to greet her. Madelyn gets a phone call debating to answer she does, it's a huge orchard well known that no one turns down. They offer Madelyn a job, Asher tells her she'd be a fool to turn down the interview. Madelyn has an interview the next day, Asher tells her he needs to check on the irrigation systems and head out the door. Madelyn is gone when Asher wakes up the next day, but he goes to her room to find out if she packed all her belongings. Asher is surprised to find that Madelyn left all of her things. Madelyn heads to the interview and while everything if perfect it doesn't feel right. Asher has a visit from the mayor the land his parents wanted to donate to the town has been finally approved after twenty years. The mayor is planning a dedication ceremony on the anniversary of their passing. Asher has to call all five of his brother's so that they don't hear about it he wants to be the one to tell them. When Madelyn gets back to the main house she finds Asher sitting on the porch, she tells him his house needs a back porch. Asher asks her how her interview went, she tells him it went well. Asher tells her he can come and see her on the weekends, Madelyn asks him if he would do that for her. Asher lets her know he wants a relationship with her, Madelyn tells him that he's not holding her back, he wouldn't do that. Madelyn tells him he's pushing her away not because he doesn't want her, but because he thought he didn't deserve her. Madelyn tells him there's no one better than him, he's made her feel special, he's the man she wants. Asher tells her he's sorry for letting her leave thinking he didn't want her, when it's the opposite. Madelyn tells him she forgives him, she tells him she missed him today, she forgave him before she was back in Peach Springs. Asher tells her he missed her too, Madelyn tells him she thank them for the job opportunity but she told them she preferred to work at Wild Peach. Asher asks her if she's staying and Madelyn tells him yes. Madelyn tells him she does have a few conditions, he can never lie to her again, and they sleep in the same bed. Madelyn tells him not to let her go ever again, Asher tells her he'll never let her go. They kiss, and Asher sweeps her up and carries her to her bed. Asher tells her he loves her and Madelyn tells him she loves him. One year later, Asher finished the big back porch Madelyn envisioned a year ago. Asher asks Madelyn is she's glad they're now married, she tells him if he doesn't know the answer to that she's doing something wrong. Madelyn tells him she loves him, and is proud to be his wife. Asher tells her he loves her, Madelyn tells him she would like a baby swing on the back porch and a baby gate so one doesn't fall down the steps. Madelyn tells Asher he's going to be a father, Asher asks her if she's pregnant. Madelyn tells him yes, Asher pulls her in for a hug. Asher kisses Madelyn as tears flow down their cheeks, he can't put it into words what he wants to say to his wife. Madelyn asks him if he's happy about his, Asher tells her she made him the happiest man in the world. A year ago Asher wouldn't have know this kind of life was possible everyday with Madelyn is better than before and he can't wait to see what their future holds.

Meh could have been better.

Considering this was a full book and not a novella, it definitely felt like a novella.
It was ridiculously fast-paced for no reason.

Maddie and Asher met and were sleeping together the next day and saying i love you like 3-4 days later.
Let's barely mention the fact that he is the boss and she is a new hire.
There was no need for it to be so insta love. Maddie was working there for the summer.. draw things out there is nothing wrong with some angst.

She works on the orchard but never meets any other hand, and all she does is prune trees. But out of nowher, she getsana interview at a bigger place and is offered a manager position and turns it down to continue to work as a hand because of a guy she met a week ago. ... come on 🙄😐

What was the actual point of the whole extra land going to the town and the brothers agreeing to come back to town for a memorial for the parents in a month if we dont get to read this???
I thought we would get a slight time jump and see Maddie meeting all the brothers and maybe Asher saying how she has been promoted to manager and done all these improvements on the orchard.. but nope, just an epilogue of a year later they are already married and just chatting on the back porch, which apparently took Asher a year to build.

It just fell flat.
Maybe less teenage sex scenes everywhere (communial kitchen/against a tree for everyone to see, and we could have had some more in-depth plot.

Asher Wild is a grumpy farmer who has been burned in the past and can’t understand his instant attraction to the new hire for his family run peach farm. Madelyn Weston is a city girl with a sunshine personality, curves for days, and who doesn’t shy away from hard work. The chemistry between these two is instantaneous and even though Asher feels their significant age gap makes her off limits, they cannot deny their feelings for long. When a job opportunity of a lifetime comes up for Maddie, she must make some hard choices and Asher must reflect on whether pushing her away was the right choice for them both and if it’s too late for them.

This is a wonderful romance that is beautifully written and nicely introduces the Wild Brothers for the coming series. Hope Ford is an extraordinary writer who always delivers stories full of cleverly crafted characters who you cannot help but root for flaws and all!

I would strongly recommend this book and the series to readers who enjoy small town romances with guaranteed happy endings!.

OMG... I loved this book so much and am so excited to read about all the hot Wild Brothers. Wild Temptation is book 1 of The Wild Brothers series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, grumpy-sunshine, curvy girl gets her peach farmer romance. Madelyn (Maddie) is a 28 year old curvy girl with a masters in agriculture. She loves farming but comes from wealth. Asher Wild is a 42 year old, hunky, grumpy peach farmer. When Maddie gets a job at Ashers farm, his first thought is to send her away. The attraction is instant, but he thinks she's too much of a city girl. But she proves him wrong at every turn. Their chemistry is pure fire and hot enough to burn down the orchard. But Asher is worried about their age gap and holding Maddie's dreams up. Can Maddie show him she's all in? Will Asher let down his walls? This story had all the feels. I think I fell in love with Asher myself and he is most definitely a new book boyfriend. I loved how Maddie was also so forward to him. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I loved it!!.

This book is a part of The Wild Brother’s Series and focuses on Asher and Madelyn. Asher is one of the Wild brothers and is responsible for running the family peach farm. When he does a favor for the chief of police and hires Madelyn as one of his employees, he doesn’t expect to react to her the way he does when he finally meets her. Madelyn is the perfect addition to the peach farm but Asher has some initial hang ups about her because she comes from a life of wealth. He had been burned in the past but it doesn’t take him long to figure out that Madelyn is nothing like he initially thought and that he had finally found the person he couldn’t live without. I loved how Asher and Madelyn were together. He was such a sweet, caring, and devoted partner. The way he took care of her and just wanted her to be loved and cared for was so sweet to see. This was a fantastic story and a great introduction to the series! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series has in store for us.

Archer lays eyes on Madelyn's Bentley and assumes she is just like his ex-wife - throw in an inexplicable attraction to the younger woman and he hardly makes a good first impression. But when Maddie quickly impresses the orchard owner, it doesn't take long before the sizzling chemistry between explodes. Entertaining, super steamy, and swoon-worthy, Wild Temptation is another must-read by one of my favourite authors, Hope Ford.

Good story but I have some mixed feelings with it. I liked the characters and the plot but there wasn't as much chemistry between them. Asher was a jerk and the lack of communication between the two of them was frustrating. I liked the moments where they were able to work things out and be on the same page. I think part of my issue was that I couldn't get a read on Asher - was he happy that he was in charge of the farm, was he unhappy - I wasn't really sure. He made this big sacrifice for his family but I couldn't tell if it was something that he was pleased about or resented because it went both ways throughout the book. And the whole relationship with Maddie's parents was crazy and didn't add much to the story.

Good story but some things could have been better explained.

This was a great story of being able to do what you love, despite all the road blocks others put in your way. Madelyn graduated and was more than ready to start working on a farm and she gets a job at the Wild's peach farm. Asher Wild doesn't want her there because he's sure she's a spoiled city gal...and he's desperately attracted to her ;) She makes him give her a chance and he's more than pleased with her skills. She has the hots for him and would love nothing more than to be with him permanently but they couldn't manage to communicate honestly so there's a fair bit of angst ahead for these two. Thankfully, when it's almost too late, they manage to open up fully and get a wonderful HEA. They had fab chemistry, and about burned up the sheets, so it was fun to see them get sorted out ;D

I loved Wild Temptation The Wild Brothers. I can’t wait to read this series. Asher runs the families peach farm. He agreed to hire Madelyn for the sheriff. The second he sees her he thinks it’s a mistake. She’s from the city and drives a fancy car, he doesn’t care about her references and he tries ti push her away. Madelyn doesn’t understand why Asher wants her gone. She’s determined to prove him wrong and maybe they can have a little fun. Or a lot. Things take a surprising turn when their feelings grow and maybe it chime be something real. When a new opportunity opens up, Asher uses it to push Maddie away. Will she let him is the question? I loved the storyline and the characters. I can’t wait to read about each brother and their fall. I would definitely recommend this book.

This is book 1 The Wild Brothers starring Asher Wild and Madelyn. Well I have to say I loved Madelyn’s character and how she shows Mr. Mc-grumpy Asher that women can and will get dirty and still find time to be a lady too. I have to say there were a couple of times I think a good kick in the pants might have been in order for Asher, however in the end Madelyn find all she needs is him and wants only Asher and his farm for the rest of her life is the best ending this story could possibly have. I have to say I agree with Asher and making him work for a second change was a little in order after all the work is worth it right!.

Asher hasn’t so much as looked at another woman since his divorce. But he is absolutely gobsmacked by his attraction to his new hire for the summer, Madelyn. Right away, he knows she’s special, but going there is a bad idea since she’s just there temporarily and his history still haunts him. But Asher thaws from the grumpiest grump into a super softie with her. These two fall hard and fast for each other. Things are going great until Asher pushes Maddie away “for her own good”. Love how they get back on the same page! These two definitely steamed it up! I loved how caring Asher was and how Madelyn didn’t let him get away with pushing her away.

Asher wants nothing to do with relationships. He’s bound and determined to stay away from them. It becomes a test of wills when Madelyn appears at his front door expecting a job that was promised to her. Maddie is desperate for a job. She is a city girl wanting to work at a peach farm. Maddie does not want to return to New York because her parents have a plan for her life.
I loved watching their good old fashioned chemistry at work in this book. Asher’s back and forth was understandable and infuriating at times. He really wanted to do what was best for her but couldn’t bring himself to see that he was what was good for her.
This has been a great read!.

I loved this story by Hope Ford. I am looking forward to reading the other stories in the series about the Wild Brothers. I can never put any story by Hope Ford down. I loved the back and forth between Asher and Madelyn.

Madelyn may have grown up rich but she loves working outside and on farms. She gets a job working for Asher Wild. Asher wasn't expecting Madelyn when he meets her on that first day so didn't respond well. Madelyn has always been discounted so she wasn't surprised but she is determined to make this work. They have an instant connection even with they were unable to communicate sometimes. Will they be able to work things out to find a happily ever after?

Such a great book! It can be read in a short time and will keep you interested to the end. Madilyn has accepted a job at a peach orchard and her boss is Asher. He had been burned by an ex-wife, so he didn't think she would do well at the family orchard. Maddie wanted to get away from her meddling family, who were trying to get her married. The attraction was instant between them. I loved the way Maddie kept proving that she wasn't anything like his ex. Asher learned that very quickly. This is an age-gap, instalove, with a perfect HEA.

Amazing series opener from Hope. Instantly fell in love with Asher and Maddie, their flirting, instant connection and chemistry was amazing.
Asher is older, guarded and grumpy. Maddie is young, sunshine and free (to an extent meddling parents).
They have more in common and Asher realises, but his past clouds his future and even though Maddie is clearly his one he fights against the feelings.
If you enjoy spice, instaromance, instalove, employer /employee relationships, small town romance, age gap romance, pure love, dual pov writing, HEAs then you'll enjoy this.

Great start to the Wilder Brothers series when Maddie get a job working for the summer at the peach orchard owned by the Wilder Brothers. Asher runs the business side so when he hires Maddie for the summer he thinks he messed up because she is just like his ex wife coming from a New York wealthy family but soon realizes that she loves the orchard and working the dirt. Loved this book and can’t wait for the others.

This age gap romance had me cheering Madelyn and Asher on. He takes one look at Madelyn and his heart is pounding. He doesn't want to give her the job because he knows his heart will melt. To Asher Madelyn is like his ex-wife rich and from the city but he soon learns that Madelyn is nothing like her. Will the time spent together prove to him that he can take a chance on love once again and will this time around lead him to a happily ever after.

The best mix of a city girl wanting to make it work in the country, while falling hard for her boss who happens to be the owner of the peach farm. Asher doesn't believe that Madelyn is cut of to be a country person but he instantly falls hard for her sweetness. This couple kept me glued to the pages as they had feelings that they were trying to work through because they were unsure of how the other felt about them.

I’m always up for a good Hope Ford book. This one is the first in a new series that I will most definitely want to read. Asher and Madelyn set up the series well. I loved their chemistry and how Madelyn didn’t let anyone bring her down. Asher needed a few slaps in the head but at the end he redeemed himself. Their story is good and steamy. It’s a great grumpy/sunshine book that will leave you wanting more.

It's all peachy!

Asher and Maddie are such a sweet couple, but they are also a bit of a mess! They both have baggage that makes them wary of relationships, but they cannot ignore the chemistry that sizzles each time they are in the same room. You can feel the sexual tension, the glances, the dirty thoughts and naughty fantasies running through their minds and the need to touch, to kiss, to feel, to claim and to love. This is a lovely start to the series, I look forward to meeting all the brothers as they finally find their soul mates.

I have enjoyed seeing these two meet, connect and come together whilst navigating their feelings, expectations, misunderstandings and communication issues. I believed in their chemistry and in them as a couple, it was nice seeing them happy together and how everyone was on board. I did have a question or two as I was reading as some things I felt needed a little more clearing up, I liked the character development and am looking forward to seeing what happens next in this series.
