Who says a cowgirl can’t have it all?

Lone Star Lovers, Book 7

Stormy is a rancher’s daughter through and through, and although she went away to college, her soul is firmly rooted in home ground—and the cowboys she grew up tormenting. When she hears her father might be selling the ranch, she packs her bags and high tails it for home, terrified she might never get another chance to lasso the heart of one of her cowboys before the hands scatter to the four winds.

For Cam and Joe, foreman and wrangler on the ranch, Stormy was a pain in the seat of their Wranglers. But when she roars back onto the ranch, the spoiled brat they remember emerges from the cloud of dust in skin-tight jeans and spike heels and all grown up.

It only takes a hot second to figure out she’s hell-bent on seduction. But if she thinks they’re going to make it easy for her to pick which cowboy she wants most, she’s sadly mistaken. And who says she has to choose one?

Contains cowboy-style spanking, flogging, and hog-tying. And a cowgirl who loves every minute of it.

This is a lively read, in which a grown-up ranch daughter comes home when her father is selling the ranch. Only the two ranch hands are present, guys she used to dream about when she was younger. Turns out they used to dream about her too, and it's not long before this excuse for describing a threesome gets under way.

There really isn't much more story, and we see almost nothing of the setting beyond the ranch house and barn. Even so, I'd give it better marks but for the fact that the girl gets spanked and hit with a leather implement. Beating is beating. Either don't include it or let the girl take a turn hitting the guy. Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander, or else he is just a bully. We already have enough potential problems with two men a good bit older than the girl. I'm also surprised that two apparently ordinary cowhands keep kinky stuff in the drawer. Still, what do I know?

Anyway if you want an erotic fantasy about straight-talking outdoor types, have fun. This is part of a sequence of books in which girls appear to be in short supply so the men have to twin up to share. With sincere loving intentions, it must be said.

I read this book when it was published by Samhain. I love this whole series. Reined In is a hot and steamy novella. Stormy runs back home when she hears her father is selling the ranch where she grew up. Two hot cowboys who have been waiting for her to grow up are ready to claim her.

Delilah Devlin knows how to write hot and steamy stories and write them very well. This book kept my attention from start to finish and I couldn't put it down.

no more running

Stormy has teased Joe and Cam for years. They had never really pursued her out of respect for her father Reese. It’s time for Stormy to come home. They devise a plan to get her home. Can they show her that they love her? Will she admit that she loves them both? Come on in and find out.

The development of the main male leads Joe and Cam is amazing for such a short story. Even though Cam is the ranch foreman and Joe is just the best friend who was passed over for this authority (the two have been working together at the ranch since high school), it becomes apparent that Joe thinks of Cam as his responsibility; Joe is a beautifully developed Alpha male. Cam is the perfect Beta, a very strong second, willing to step aside so that his friend can be happy with Stormy, who Cam wants for himself. Stormy leans to the same choice although we slowly get hints Cam might be strong enough to control her on his own. The author makes Stormy so intentionally flawed, you will cheer for Joe to give her the spanking her parents neglected and make her grow up. The main flaw in the story is the girl's father, a successful rancher whose decisions, including moving Joe and Cam into the main house back when Stormy was a child (she helped her mother decorate Cam's bedroom to match his eyes), as well as a lot of other crazy plot movements by what is supposed to be a savvy and successful rancher in the present day, that the main premise doesn't make sense much sense. Following the main plot will require a lot of willing suspension of disbelief. There is also a place or two with a missing word that more careful editing would have caught. But the book sizzles and Delilah leaves you wanting to read a lot more about these three sexy Texans. It was much better than ebooks that cost much more than than very reasonable price of less than $5 that I paid. I'll be reading it more than once.

Lone Star Lovers - yesssss!

We haven't met these three before, but our heroine is the same age as Dani who started the whole thing off in the first place. We also get a quick check-in later with our previous groupings

Two wranglers have been lusting after the bosses daughter since they met her when they were in high school and she was in middle school. They are best friends but never considered sharing her but when she comes home on threat of daddy selling the ranch, it becomes apparent she can't choose. She doesn't know what has been going on in town with all the unusual groupings, so she thinks she'll be ostracized and has to choose. Plus, she is really worried what daddy will think if she chooses both.

A nice little wrap up at the end puts everything into perspective and everything seems to be moving along and in the right direction for these three!

This is book 7 in the Lone Star Lovers series and it features ranch foreman Cameron Mitchell, wrangler Joe Halloran and rancher's daughter Stormy Jordan. Stormy was a little hard to like in the beginning because she was such a b*h but later you find out why. Usually you can feel the best friend vibe between the men but not in this case. As is with all the other Two Mule unconventional relationships, each person brings something different into the fold. I do think the older folks in this tiny Texas town are catching on to what will make their sons and daughters happier in the long run.

Reined In by Delilah Devlin is the lasted addition in her Lone Star Lovers series. Reined In is a great novella featuring hot cowboys and a girl going after what she wants. In Reined In, Stormy comes home to see her cowboy crushes before her dad sells the family farm. Cam and Joe have wanted Stormy forever but she was their bosses daughter and she was young. Now she is all grown up and ready to make some memories with Cam and Joe. Loved this story, highly recommend!

Delilah Devlin's Lone Star lovers series is about a town in Texas where marriages and relationships have 1 woman and 2 or more men. This is book 7, so there are a lot of these relationships. Lot's of sex, no jealousy, quite a fantasy!!I have read one other of these, and got this in a 9 story Alpha male series. I think these are really fantasies!! Can't imagine real life like this. I just keep thinking of all the meals and laundry!!

Two hot cowboys again

I love country boys especially cowboys. This story has two especially hot ones. Unfortunately this story still seems like a repeat of the other stories in this series. The sex is hot and the characters are under developed. But if all you are interested in a short read with lots of sex this and the other stories in this series are a good choice.

If you've read Delilah Devlin's books before, if you have read one of the Lone Star lovers series you know what you are buying.

A quick easy read, with lots of hot scenes and a happily ever after. The characters were underdeveloped and there wasn't any kind of drama, which some days I appreciate more than others.

This book was good. Stormy comes home and the two ranch hands she had been crazy about are still there and still interested. Another quick steamy hot read. If you read the others before this you know what to expect. A read that requires nothing from but the enjoyment of her writing.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Rock Star Lit.
