Later she discovers her mystery man is one of her teachers at the academy, but he is completely different from his online persona. She actually finds herself drawn to his twin brother instead. With danger around the corner, Skyla must learn to control her lycan, as well try to navigate through murky waters when it comes to the Arden twins and their relationship with her!
Breathtakingly and heartbreakingly beautiful! Muse is an absolute goddess when it comes to storytelling. Guys, please know that if you had to spend money on books from one author only for the rest of your life, I would suggest Muse 1,000x over! Most of what I read is on kindle unlimited, but Muse is one author I will by everything she writes. Very few authors can compete with her work.
This is NOT a standalone and WILL end with a cliffhanger. It is part of a series and is best enjoyed in order, however if you chose to you COULD start with The Rossi legacies book one and skip their parents, The Alpha series. I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND you read that series first though!

I fell in love with this world when I read Her Forbidden Alpha and have been completely enamored since.
Skyla has always portrayed herself as strong and independent. Since an incident from her childhood, she refused to let people see her true self, the pain, and to be a burden. But it was only a facade she put in place.
The character depth of Aleric, Royce, and Skyla was incredibly done. Royce and Skyla had their own internal battles and struggles. You could feel their pain and stress when reading their internal monologues. Neither of them felt as if they could lean on their family's for their own reasons. Aleric has his own struggles and insecurities, which are being used against him.
This is a slow burn, and once you get to the spice, it's worth the wait. The tension was high, and dirty talk 🫦
The plot, pacing, and world building were great. I could not put the book down and kept telling myself, "One more chapter."
I am terrified and am also so excited to read book two. I have so many questions and theories. I feel a little stressed going into book two, I think it's going to take me on an emotional rollercoaster, and I don't know if I'm ready. But I know I will not be disappointed and need to trust the process. Honestly, book two can not be released fast enough

This duet had me up, down, screaming, crying, sweating, hot & icy all at the same time. Skyla, our audacious lioness, had SUCH A JOURNEY in her books. Muse did not make it easy for her, that's for sure.
Throughout most of this book, Muse definitely has you questioning who's right or wrong for her, if they could both possibly be her mates, who's being deceptive and who's trustworthy. We find out many family secrets and connections we never knew about (but maybe had theories from prior books) & have plenty of appearances from the Rossi/Westwood gang we know and love.
Without giving away spoilers, by the end of this book, Skyla is mated to one which sparks a whole new journey of chaos in the next book.
And the ice, spice, & everything nice is off the charts.

Now here we are for Skyla Rossi's story. Skyla is a troubled young woman who has trouble controlling her beast. And there is a reason for it. She has gotten into so much trouble at school and students are afraid of her because she has attacked others. Now there are two new teachers. The Arden twins. Royce and Aleric. Skyla is tempted by both of them and has intimate relations with both. She has also been seeing unfamiliar creatures and is the only one to be able to see these creatures. Not only that, but she has been having blackouts. During one of these blackouts, she even harmed her cat. Skyla has no idea what is going on with her. And she finds herself growing closer to Royce than Aleric and makes a decision that changes everything.

She is also between two brothers. The good and the bad guy. The Arden twins both are a temptation that she can't avoid.
And when you think that all things get in line and everything will be alright Muse ends the book with a major cliffhanger leaving you with your mouth agape!
If you haven't read this book, go for it. And I mean now

Skyla Rossi is like no female lead you have ever read. She has absolutely no filter and won't apologize for being the bad-a$$ she is! Sky is pulled between the Arden twins but I promise you that you will only love ONE of them. Royce is everything you could ask for in a male lead. He is strong and sexy and dominant. The spar scene with Royce and Alejandro is worth the price of admission alone. The spice in this book is ooolala. You'll never think of ice the same way again! I can't wait for the conclusion of this duet!

In this story we meet Skyla Rossi, who is outspoken and struggling to control her secret. Considering she's only 18 and living on her own, she becomes the object of fascination and desire for twin brothers. The drama ensues when someone tries to kill her and this all leads to a page turning romance that has fights, witchcraft, and love.
I am loving the Rossi legacies and totally enjoyed this series. There are lot of twists and turns, and truths discovered, and a lot of connections will fall into place. A good read.

Skyla and Royce's journey was not what I was expecting at all when I first started this book. She has always been portrayed as independent and feisty but underneath that exterior, you have a girl who is struggling, and I loved getting to know her on a deeper level.
Royce is an Arden and his Dad has plans for both him and his brother Aleric to insert themselves into her life. I loved the dynamics between all three and I couldn't stop reading. The way that Muse makes you love and hate her characters is amazing.
This is a duet so expect a cliffhanger at the end.

I loved this book. I am delving into the Rossi Legacies after a long break and boy have I missed out on the stories.
As usual, Muse delivers with all the suspense and drama. I feel like sometimes the writing could be improved but I think it's just me as a reader. Both POVs sound like they were the same person, especially expressing themselves.
I am still giving it a four stars because apart from the writing, I love the book and will continue reading them.

Awesome first book of Skyla Rossi's story. Ends on a heart-stopping cliffhanger so don’t read unless your intending to read Book 2 of Skyla, and trust me you want to read them. Skyla gets entangled with twin brothers and everybody has secrets. This book has it all: steam, passion, heartache, action, mystery, magic fingers and squirty cream. IYKYK. Now on to book 2 - Skyla Rossi: A Game of Deception and Lies.

This book has one of the best character development I've ever read. The FMC went from hating herself and thinking she didn't need her family to finding her worth and coming to the realization that her family is part of her strength.
The story also shows that mate bonds don't always dictate how you feel about that other person and who you love the most, which is super rare in werewolf stories.

Getting to finally read Skylas story was truly worth the wait. learning more about her thoughts and feelings from the past and everything shes gone through and experienced in the previous books. this book definitely gave me my first person that I truly hate in this series and that just speaks for how amazing Muse is at writing out these characters. this book is such a fantastic start to Skylas duo!

They are my favourite couple. The Solaris king win my beat from the min he walked into the night bin while the Lioness has made me laugh more than how many times I can count. I have re read this book 3 times up until now and I never get tired of it.
This book talks a lot about how a person can change their oath and make right choices no matter how much the evil pulls you in.

The book theme you have it the tittle. And sin it's nothing more that tool for some blonde character to get his way. Sky is powerful woman but her inner battles are something that will put her to ultimate test. This is the book that will introduce us to some of the vile characters and to some of the most selfless, sassy and brave one too.

Book 3 in the Rossi Legacy and part 1 of this book and I love it! Skyla is so strong and fierce and doesn't take any stuff from anyone but yet holds a beautiful vulnerability that she hides from the world. She is dealing with a relationship with twin brothers. Muse builds slow‑burn tension that keeps you on your toes!

Hot damn if Leo and Alejandro didn’t get you Royce absolutely will. This epic tale of good and evil will leave you wondering what is to come and where everyone stands. Maleficent gets her days to shine and this book will leave you on the edge until the very end. One of my absolute favorites!

I have been reading these novels from the beginning and all of them are amazing. This particular one really kept me on the edge of my seat. Talk about keeping it interesting when you have too bad boys and a bad girl.

Skyla book is not bad but is not of my favorite character. The book is well written and entertaining for a paranormal erotic novel. There is always a mystery and conflict to solve.
