The things that go bump in the night. The monster of your nightmares. The blade in the shadows. The bitter end you never saw coming.
And we are sex personified. ------------------------------------- Killer OmegaTo some, I am a Goddess. To others, I am the reaper. Whichever the case may be, I have never felt the pull of mortal emotions in my unmeasurable lifetime. So when my heart aches from trying to force the alpha and his beta brother away, I know there is going to be trouble. And when my first heat begins to surface, that trouble hits a catastrophic level. Let's just hope these boys can handle all of me. Because once we bond, there will be no turning back. For anyone.
G.R. Loreweaver brings to life worlds filled with PNR menage and lots of delicious twists.
When she isn’t creating characters that we love--only to be mean to them--she likes to spend her time watching movies or playing video games. She adores all things purple and can usually be found spending time with her amazing husband and crazy kids, most likely with her toes in the grass.
This story is part of the Femme Fatal Freakshow shared world. It is a quick read but the author did a great job of putting a whole story into a little package. I love Evander so much. I was laughing out loud anytime he was speaking. He is getting added to my long list of book boyfriends and I guess Viggo can come too (not that he has much choice IYKYK). There is spice and plot and a little bit of torture, I mean really what more can anyone ask for!
Even as a novella, the plot and romance felt rushed and the characters felt more like caricatures. I liked the mystique of who they could’ve been and where they could’ve gone, but it either felt like an afterthought in some regards and/or an incomplete thought in others instead of something wholly collective and sellable.
This book feels like a gift to me wrapped in a super cute little bow. I say this bc the author did an amazing job including everything I could have asked for in such a small book. This is a fast read so the entire book is fast paced but it just works. Nothing to me felt rushed at all.
I want to give Imani the biggest hug. She definitely went through something no one should ever have to experience. I loveeeeeed what she basically dedicated her life to do, i admire her so much for it especially after everything she went through. She gets invited to join a special group of female assassins bc she's just that much of a badass and this leads to her meeting her mates.
Evan and viggo were hilarious. The stuff they did, mostly Evan, had my jaw on the floor. Never in a million years did I expect half the stuff they did to happen 😭. As different as they were they were perfect for Imani. Bc the book was short everything between moved really quickly. They felt like they were together for years instead of meeting a couple of days ago. They all complimented each other really well.
In the second book of the shared world for the Femme Fatale Freakshow we meet Imani as she becomes an immortal Omega due to a need for vengeance when she witnesses and is a victim of a traumatizing experience as a young lady. Flash forward a century and she becomes a member of the guild where she meets her mates!
We know that both Viggo and Evander (fondly known as Evan) experienced a horrendous past, but they are twins and they are the mates of Imani. Viggo is the responsible Alpha who appears to do everything by the book. Where Evan is the sweet psychotic Beta who makes you laugh and love the adorable "puppy" that he is, sick tendencies and all!
Together they put a stop to the bad man! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I wish there was more of an ending to the book and I also wish there was more "knotting" as this is an OV book but I am not holding it against the author as I know it is her first OV book! Still a fantastic short read!!!
Killer Omega is book two in the Femme Fatale Freakshow series and is written by G.R. Loreweaver. This series is a compilation of stand alone books written by multiple different authors.
Imani has been on this earth for a very long time. Unfortunately, her beginning while good for awhile eventually met some tragedy. But, what happens when time brings her to her mates? Or when she’s tapped by a secret group that takes out the worst of the worst? Will she be able to have vengeance and mates? Will they understand? How will this work?
This was a fun short story. It was nice to see the unusual touches and shifters being used in this storyline. Evander and Viggo’s relationship cracked me up. I loved that their different personalities brought different perspectives on Imani and how they approached her. Again, this was a fun short story and I can’t wait to see what other stories come out in this series.
WOW! That was a lot of perfectly decadent dark goodness packed into such a short book lol. Imani, Evander, & Viggo were really unique & intriguing characters who captured your attention very quickly. Their story may have been short, yet there was a really good balance between the plot & all the spice. I didn’t feel like one got traded for the other, which is saying a lot when you’re working with less than a hundred pages. Throw in some crazy a$$ humor & a morbidly chaotic vibe with a few unexpected twists & turns, and you have a wild ride that you won’t be expecting. Don’t be fooled though! Short doesn’t mean you should ignore the TWs!!! G.R. is not afraid to put you on an emotional roller coaster, even if it’s on a shorter track 😈😂 If the TWs aren’t an issue though, sit back & enjoy the crazy, but hot AF ride 👀🔥🫣🙌🏻👏🏻
So I’m reading along in Killer Omega and the next thing I know, I burst out laughing! Imani doesn’t know what or why Evan did what he did. Sorry, not going to spoil by saying what he did. From the very beginning of G.R.’s story, I’ve enjoyed the crazy ride of a story she's leading us on. My favorite line is ‘Evan and his magickal dancing fingers.’ I absolutely love Imani, the strong fmc. As we go along, she gives them the craziest nicknames that have me laughing, sometimes even rolling on the ground laughing! Imani gets the job done and finds love that she never expected or realized she needed. What a hoot and a wonderful story. Of course the beginning isn’t fun, but at least it gets turned around as we get to know Imani. Get ready for an awesome book! G. R. writes some awesome stories and Killer Omega is a fabulous addition to her authordom!
This is part of a shared world of the Femme Fatale Freakshow. Imani has been on the earth for along time and now has a role a mission, part of the Femme Fatale and her role is to take out those that no longer need to be living.
On one of her jobs she put into the path of Evander and Viggo (twins) who turn out to be her Imani’s mates. Viggo is our alpha, he is straight by the book and then we have Evander who is the Beta that is a psychotic, hilarious mess. These two our chalk and cheese, and they bring so much to this story, that you can’t help but lol at their antics – more so Evander.
How will these two deal with what Imani’s job is, can they learn to work together and be what fate has intended for them.
This book is a short read, that is delishly dark, chaotic and psychotic with all the right twists and turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more.
Never has a short book been such a delight. True to her signature style, G.R. Loreweaver’s "Killer Omega" is a joy to read. In just 70 pages, she creates three of the most outlandish characters that could top the freakiest show ever and packs the pages with a wild ride.
In a few masterful strokes, Loreweaver delves into the tragic past of Imani (fair warning: check the trigger warnings because this story is not for the faint of heart). She explains who and what Imani has become, and don’t even get me started on the twins, Evander and Viggo. I spent every page with Evan laughing like a lunatic—the hand scenes alone are pure genius.
So, if you’re in for a smexy time while laughing your eyes out at the morbid, lunatic humor that only G.R. Loreweaver can deliver, look no further. "Killer Omega" is definitely your piece of cake. I’m just hoping we get a full book on this trio ASAP!
Killer Omega is the second book in the Femme Fatale Freakshow, a series of standalones written by different authors about a guild of female assasins.
Killer Omega is a fun short read that will send you on a wild ride.
Let me preface this by stating to check the trigger warnings first, this may be a short read, but it doesn't come without some to hard read things.
In just a few short pages, G.R Loreweaver dives into the tragic past of our FMC, Imani, that shapes her into who and what she is. Then you meet the twins, and you will most likely find yourself laughing like a madwoman.
I just wish this book was longer, because I really enjoyed it. 5 stars and I highly reccommend it. You won't regret reading it.
Hey y'all... Here's the usual from me. Read the content/trigger warnings. This is a great story in the Femme Fatale Freakshow world, but it doesn't come without some hard to read things. Mental health first, always.
This story is a shorter one, but so much heart is packed into it. You will be laughing at some parts, but a few you were feel for the FMC and all she endured. Be ready to cheer for the HEA that she deserves. Oh and some steamy hot MMCs made it that much better. It is menage, but the MMCs are brothers but aren't involved with each other.
Get ready for an omega that is like none you have met before.
In this second book in the Femme Fatale Freakshow shared world, we meet Imani who is an Omega. She goes on a mission to find information on someone who she knows is up to no go; on this mission she meets Evander (Evan) and Viggo who are undeniably attracted to Imani. Well, there's a reason for that, but I won't tell you more because I want you to read and find out how everything works out.
This is a quick story, but it's complete within the small volume. It's entertaining and I couldn't put it down. It's spicy, it's fun and it's dark (so check the warnings, there are some things that are extra dark). I can't wait to see if we get more of these characters in the future!!
One warning about this book. If you have triggers, mind them because the first chapter has a big flashing trigger. Now that I have that out of the way, this quick read is a must. Imari is a true survivor who took her trauma and uses it. She eventually receives a special invitation to the FFF that leads her to her mates. Evan and Viggo are just as special as she is because they’re just as ancient. It's such a short read that I don't want to give too much away, but I'll say this, double knotting anyone? Don't walk Run to read Killer Omega.
Book 1 in the Femme Fatale Freakshow and it was “killer”. Here we meet Imani and immortal that is an omega (ish). We also meet Viggo and Evander. Identical Twins that shift into a hydra but only together.
All three of them are very old which makes for some very hilarious dialogue. Picture grandparents trying to learn how to use new technology.
This was a fabulous quick and spicy read. I loved the dynamic between the three main characters and Evander was cracking me up! The spice was definitely spicy, the story was great and I can’t wait to read more in this series!!!
I have read a range of omegaverse's and they are often very similar in the aspect of how their worlds worked. This had a nice touch, leaving me shocked and curious on what else could happen in future books for this novella series.
This is a really dark read, so don't expect glossed over back stories. Though this is certainly a short read with plenty of steamy moments and a shifting menage romance, G.R. Loreweaver did an excellent job delivering an interesting and delightful vengeance of a tale.
Welcome to the Femne Fatale Freakshow. Killer Omega by G.R. Loreweaver is the first book in the shared world of the Freakshow. Short, but far from sweet, Killer Omega introduces us to Imani and her mates Viggo and Evander. This book is full of unique shifters, fated mates, and revenge. Joining the Femme Fatale is a lifelong commitment, and they will only give you Marks who fit your criteria. Be sure this is a commitment you can keep, or it could cost you your life.
This one starts off with an event that could be triggering so please check those before diving into this quick, steamy read. After that first chapter, the story stays dark, but not too dark, and really heats up. I really enjoyed the relationship between Imani and the twins. The way they meet, the different personalities of the twins, and their connection added to my enjoyment. There's a lot of heat in this one, but it's a short read so everything happens quickly. I didn't feel like the story was rushed, however, it is an insta love type situation.
This story was unlike anything I've read recently. It drew me in and I felt a part of the scenes. The twins are so in tune yet so different and they shift into a very unique form. Imani suffered greatly as a child and her wish to become what she wanted to, came to being. She's lived a very long time, alone, doing her work until the twins. Their lived change. I'm being vague for a reason, I don't want to spoil this well written tale.
If you want to laugh your ass off while also learning about a whole different meaning to double pene * -* tration, this book right here. You will not be disappointed, maybe a little bit when it’s over. The FMC is an Alpha Omega who finds herself stuck between two brothers, who are a Hydra. If you don’t quite know what that is don't worry you’ll find out…. But a little hint, there are two heads. You’re welcome.
When you love a author’s style so much, that you don’t bother to read the blurb before diving in, only to have the love reaffirmed!!! Femme Fatale at its best – Imani – the essence of power, wildness and revenge, finds her match – not one, but two!!! Evan (the funny one) and Viggo (the serious one).
This novella was steamy, spicy, you name it – and enjoy it!! Just look out for those triggers.
Short and to the point, very fast paced. Quick read. Very very odd at times… and I wasn’t a big fan of the beta brother, he just… seemed annoying. The shining light is Imani and her story, no matter how little of it we see. She’s just interesting and I’d love to read more about her exploits. The guild is also interesting and set up well for this first book, makes me want to know more about them.
Not for the faint of heart! Read the triggers and know that it’s serious.
This was a quick read, but it packed quite the punch! It kept me invested till the end! There was spice, humor, and a side of crazy.
While Imani was already a bad *ss, she found the mates she never knew she needed. Viggo and Evan. They truly were opposites, but they balanced each out perfectly. I loved both of them, but Evan's crazy was everything.
This is a short story but the amount of times I giggled and laughed. I thought some of these comments were amazing. The story was really cool. I was actually very intrigued by the characters. I have never read anything with characters quite like these. I loved all of them. I would totally love to see character art of all three of them and their extra forms.
G.R. Lorweaver introduces us to our next Femme Fatale in this quirky, intriguing, electric novella. Born from vengeance, our assassin is strong, capable and a force to be reckoned with, while she is balanced by an eccentric and OCD set of twins. The blend of characters, vivid world-building and unique paranormal twist ensures a captivating read.
This book is a great quick read if you like it dark and spicy. Please check for triggers before you read. I was definitely hooked from the start with this one. G.R Loreweaver does a great job creating these characters, Imani and the twin heat up the pages. This is the first book in a multi author shared world and I'm looking to reading more.
This book was phenomenal. It was shorter than many of my recent reads, but I didn’t feel rushed. I loved the female assassin vibe, and how well that energy and mystery played into the plot as a whole. The spice was good, and the story grabbed me so well from the beginning, so I highly recommend! (As long as you read TWs as always!)
Absolutely loved this one. It was not what I was expecting but it was great none the less. I loved it. I have read a few of this author's books and can honestly say she is great. I will always read anything she writes. I've loved every story by her.
Imani, Evan and Viggo they are brothers and her mates. She is a total kick butt with a dark side and insatiable taste for new mates. The feeling is mutual. She serves some justice her way. Interesting ending.
