Rebel Barbarians MC #2

Biker's Servant: Property of Hawk

Rate this book
On her way West to Santa Fe, Juliette's escape from one abuser leads her straight into the arms of a vicious biker.

Hawk Sinclair, the motorcycle club's brutal enforcer, becomes singularly obsessed with the light-skinned plus-sized woman he rescues from a brutal attack.

He throws Juliette on the back of his bike, promising her a trip to Santa Fe but having absolutely no intention of bringing her there...

Her body belongs to him completely the second she straddles his motorcycle.

By the time Juliette realizes her powerful rescuer might just be her worst nightmare, it's too late and he has her pinned to his bed, ready to own her body completely with every inch between his legs.

When she fights back too hard, Hawk has only one weapon to keep Juliette in her place. A tattoo needle.

The club's latest rescue falls into the clutches of Hawk — a tall, unreasonably hot moonshine-obsessed alpha with more "biological needs" than any normal man.

This will be a spicy and extremely dark enemies to lovers motorcycle club romance with a black female lead. Book #2 in the series.

This is a dark interracial romance story with potentially triggering content. Enjoy this motorcycle club/biker gang romance, the first book in The Rebel Barbarians MC Series.

So I’m like 97% sure the people who rated this 4+ were apart the of the authors Patreon.

I’m not! Saw the book on tiktok decided to give it a chance cause the author was black and baby…. imma hold your hand when i say this…..

This book is just straight up rape and racism.

the start of the story: FMC’s step father threatens to rape her- she runs off- HE FINDS HER - MMC KILLS HIM POINT BLANK FOR NO REAL REASON OTHER THAN THE STEPFATHER IS KINDA ANNOYING - KIDNAPS THE FMC.

MMC? a white mildly racist alcoholic. That’s it. that’s the ENTIRE personality. OH and his big dick. That’s mentioned so many times like it’s possible to forget when they’re FUCKING damn near every chapter. Did i mention he’s drunk? He’s always drunk. It’s half way through the book when he’s supposed to stop drinking.

FMC? The world’s most kidnappable woman. Just keeps on getting raped or threatened with it. I DNF around 45% of the book ‘cause the FMC gets KIDNAPPED BY A GROUP OF RACISTS AND THEY THREATEN TO FUCK HER WHILE CALLING HER SLURS. Mind YOU she’s CURRENTLY already kidnapped by the MMC and pregnant with his baby. Unwillingly of course. She hasn’t consented a single time in 153 pages.

The worst of the whole story is the fact that the plot is so damn lame. FMC is a *independent* women who’s so full of *sass* it gets her beat up and raped. MMC is a stoic man who deep down under the alcohol has a good heart (and dick). It’s written for black women who have no self-esteem and white people who get off to stereotypes of black women.

your ancestors are rolling in their graves

What would possess a BLACK a woman to write multiple romance novels about different BLACK women falling in love with racist pieces of crap? There are multiple slurs throughout this book. And I get the point is they’re “bad boy biker men “ but I’ve read plenty of biker romances and they didn’t give redemption arcs to racists. What self respecting black woman would spread her legs for a man that says the n word? This author probably enjoys race play because that’s what I felt like I was reading. Put down the pen and paper and pick up the phone to call a therapist and discuss the load of self hatred that you clearly must have to be able to write something like this. If your ancestors were able to visit you the only thing they would do is spit on you for writing something so appalling. Seek help.

Madness and mayhem on deck!

Sometimes manifestations, no matter how well intentioned they may be, can blow up in our faces. Juliette Rawlings learned this lesson the hardest way possible. In trying to escape one captor, she ends up being rescued ( I use the term lightly) by an worse man, Hawk... a tall, dark alcoholic biker. At least Juliette was a fighter and didn't meekly accept her fate like most women. She definitely gave Hawk a run for his money, but defying and fighting him every step of the way. I loved that about her. This is an age gap, forced proximity, pregnancy romance. The pregnancy part is the reason for me not giving the book five stars even though I loved most of the book.

If TrDump and his friends were an MC...

First let's start with the cover photo, where is the light skinned BBW?!?!! SUPER irritating- headless man with a woman that don't match the FMC in any way. The age gap with this traumatized girl doesn't help either. It was weird and disgusting to go with the theme of this racist, older man fetishizing the big, teenage girl that was already being groomed for assault by someone else to then be assaulted by the MMC? Gross!!! Meanwhile, hes the alcoholic screw up whose grown up in a family that hooks up with their own family, born & raised by a club bunny... No, just NO!!!! How does love happen when he's still ignorant AF about her struggles, being black and most of the people he knows are either racist or just as ignorant?!?!

This author also does not give decent resolve to any parts of the storyline or plot for the couple. The ending has felt abrupt with both books in this series so far, out of nowhere, no epilogue to give you any indication of even good progress with the couple or their life. Not a fan of the pacing or storytelling either. It feels chaotic without good focus, a lot and nothing happens to progress the couple at the same time. This is the most disorganized, clueless MC I've ever seen. As dangerous and wreck less as they are, as leaders the MMC that weve seen so far seem so immature and ill prepared to run a real MC. Besides having every vice or addiction possible, they don't protect their women and family well or ever seem to know what their doing. They move crazy af with no sense of fall out or how to improve. They feel like very immature, horrible teenagers that were raised by trailer trash with messed values, left in charge of the grown ups stuff. Think I'm done with this series. The couples are not interesting, nor are they likable. Assault and fetishizing women you're racist towards is NOT cute or romantic😒 This feels like reading about that current clown in office & his friends if they were a MC.

Hawk's Firecracker!

Hawk didn't know when he walked into that bar, it would change his life forever. It was strange to see three black people sitting at the bar, two men and one woman. When he looked at her and she looked back one of the men slapped the woman. Juliette was running from her stepfather who had started to show more interest in her since her mother died. But, she didn't get to far before he caught she that's how she'd wound up in the bar. Hawk couldn't let that slap go unpunished, he proceeded to shoot one man than the other and took a screaming and kicking Juliette outside and on to his bike. Once again his MC didn't allow black in their club and they weren't allowed to date black women, but now he finds himself in the same boat as his best friend riding down the road with a black woman on the back of his bike. Once again I don't like the beginning of their relationship, because it is a little unrealistic to believe that kidnapping can turn into love, but it seems to be happening for the couples of this Series. As they say once you go black you never want to go back.🤔🤔

I shouldn't even be rating this one, maybe the first book since it's the one I actually read.
Firstly, the author is a good writer- you get hooked that's for sure. Morally? It was kind of challenging reading these books but that's what we look for in them right? and she gives them to us, no doubt.. But I only read Hawk's story because WHERE IS THE ACTUAL ENDING IN THE FIRST BOOK? I'll save you time and tell you- nowhere, I scrambled through this book- searching for a bit of Anna and her crazy biker man because there's really no ending. Took cliffhanger to a whole new level- this level is called-"wtf is happening?" I get it, you want to bring in readers, keep them starved but that only works when the next book is about the same characters, instead, I'm just skipping parts trying to find characters from the last book just so I can formulate an ending on my own since the author isn't into endings, apparently.

The book is just fine- or the few chapters I read featuring Southpaw but the ending? There's none. Honestly. It's not a cliffhanger, it's a half written story with the words "the end" at what is supposedly the end- so brace yourself.

Book one definitely made me want to return. The story of Hawk and Juliet made me swim. Honestly, do not care for a grab romances. I don't like the dynamic it presents. thought was going to feel the same way about these two characters because they have such a huge age difference. I was completely wrong. absolutely loved it. loved how Hawks love softened Juliet's rough edges and vice versa. Seeing Juliet go from scared teenager, to wildcat, to falling for hawk, to beinga mother was absolutely beautiful. feel like was a part of the story. I'm a plus size girly, so love some plus size representation. I actually love it when everybody's represented, but this specifically speaks to me. If you're looking for unconventional love story with a wild ride. You definitely want to tune into this book and the complete series. I'm running not walking to read book 3. keep you posted then.

Great

The book was great, as always, just had a few errors, but nothing that I couldn’t get over. As a black person who does not use the N-word I didn’t like the use of it in this book or the first one, but I dealt with it. I love Hawk and Juliette together. I do hope, though that we don’t have to deal with this gang through all the books in this series. But as I said, I did enjoy the book very much. Suggestion: Putting Cash and Quin together as a couple in on of the upcoming Rebel Barbarians MC books.

Juliette is nineteen and her mother had died and she is planning her escape from her touchy-feely stepfather She has saved a small stash of cash and today is the day. Hawk is on a ride and stops in a bar and sees a girl with two guys. Something seems off and hawk kills the two guys and takes off with Juliette. When Hawk Meets up with Southpaw. Hawk tells him she is his ward per say. Southpaw tells Hawk to get her inline and the drama begins. What is going to happen to Juliette down the road with Hawk? You will have to finish reading this story to find out.

Ok let me get this straight....

Kidnapping, rape(no means no, no matter how the honey pot reacts), racists, alcoholics, coke heads, gambling addiction, white boys biker club(no women, and n!goers allowed), fetishism, and I'm still confused about Reaper, the black chick that was at his place, and the "ex-cop kkk biker club". Cringe worthy, but hard to put down. Now not telling how long the next book will be, but I'm definitely going to be keeping a eye youth. I need answers!

Riveting..

As usual I'm always hooked and can't get enough of Hawk and Juliette. They are such an interesting couple. Because they get together in such a unique way. Hot, heavy, sensual, spicy 🔥 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🔥🔥. It leaves me breathless. I also like the fact that the man thinks he is in control but actually it's the woman who is. But they both learn something. As always Ms Jasper leaves me wanting to read more.

Finally an AMAZING FMC , best book thus far

Dare I say this 2nd book in the series has had more twists and turns then any other book or series by this author. I can't wait for book 3. We need more FMC like Juliette, the pacing and the plot meshed perfectly. If you like a good, taboo age gap and BIG STRONG MEN this is for you. Hawk definitely stole my heart as well. Cheers for Oske too what a QUEEN. I can't wait to see what book 3 has in store.

Good book but…

I honestly enjoyed this book the dark themes were dark. The characters were ridiculous they argued all the time and it was irrational sometimes. That’s one issue my other issue is that she took a large section from the 1st book and put it in this one she even forgot to change names I almost stopped reading from that point a lot of it seemed to be pieces from the 1st book even the nic-name baby mama.

I enjoy this story it was action pack but am confused so the founding members of the motorcycle clubs were big racist. Club rules say no blacks two of the co president are now dating black womenswear having bi racial kids they rewrite the clubs rules and still say no blacks what do they thinks their children are

I liked it like books like this with a lot of action and a lot of human things that happened in real life.

This was just all over the place…the author really needs to have proofreaders. It was very hard for me to finish this and I will not be reading anything else by this author.

I don’t think these books are for me

Ok. So I don’t think these books are for me. This low key felt like Stockholm syndrome and I’m not comfortable with that. Also, the rape. And the racism. Idk. I saw that this has great reviews so maybe it’s just me.

I’m giving it a 4 star because the plot kept me interested, however, I would have rather the word colored than the hard -er. But that’s my personal opinion.

WEIRD.

The emphasis on race was weird. It felt like a racisms kink and I am not here for it. You can make the characters black and not make it weird.

Hawk!

This was an wild ride, it was a lot of unanswered questions for me. How did her stepdad find her and knew that she left. The girl on the cover doesn't fit the description in the book. If you like dark MC then this is your book.

Wondrous Adventure

I have to admit, this is not the first time I’ve read this book, along with others before. Matter of fact, I TOTALLY LOVE this author’s complete library. This book is a wondrous adventure, just waiting to be read.

The chemistry and the relationship between each character is truly incredible. You can feel the tension and the passion in each chapter.

I’m a HUGE FAN and I look forward to reading more.

Any opinions, recommendations, or suggestions expressed within this review our Solely and uniquely made by me. I’ve previously read this book and I’ve also voluntarily had received in advance copy of this book via Bsprout.
