Say Forever (Something More #3) by Tara West

This is the third and final book of the Something More Series. Its very hard to review this book considering I didn't read the first two books in the series, so I wasn't to sure on the entire story. But I read book descriptions and some great reviews.

I will say first that Tara West writing is very good, story flows fairly smooth and the characters are well written. I quite enjoyed her writing style.

This series is based around the relationship between Christina and Andres. In the 3rd book the story continues, stress, wedding plans, talks about family and just everyday life. I liked that Andres and Christina story felt realistic in the sense that life and relationships are not easy and sometimes you have to work hard to get to the good stuff. Plus I love happy every after endings.

I'd recommend the entire series, I have rated Say Forever (Something More #3) 4 stars. Tara's writing has me intridged and I definately willing to see what else she has written that I may need to read.

Say Forever
Tara West
This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review by Net Galley.
This is the third part of the Something More trilogy. We have been following the love story of Christina and Andre. We have seen Christina struggle with her love for her godson Tyler would is the child of her ex fiance Jackson and her best friend Kerri, and we have watched Andre struggle with the memories and dreams left over from his army days.
Christina has recently found her birth mother, her new step-father and two young half brothers. She is ready to let go of some of her memories of her bad childhood with the father that abused her and the evil cobra step mom.
Then she finds herself pregnant. She is overwhelmed with feelings of uncertainty, wondering if she can be a good mother, is she too young? too damaged? can she handle it? She is scared to take the test, scared to tell Andre.
Being the perfect boyfriend, (after their little fight) he asks her to marry him. She tells him about the baby and all is well, right? Nope, enter her Mom, the evil wedding planner Nora, his aunt, his mean cousin Marie and there is bound to be some tension. There are fights over location, over food, over dresses. Feelings are hurt, mean words are being said, and Andre is working longer and longer hours. What is a girl to do, she is being pulled asounder here.Things are spiralling out of control. She wants to make everyone happy, tries so hard not to hurt anybody's feelings, but somehow nobody is listening to what she really wants. This wedding is becoming a train wreck.
This story was great.I laughed and laughed. The energy screaming off the pages was overwhelming. This poor girl, they were all out to get her. To top it off poor Andre is having nightmares again and sleeping on the couch to protect her from his bashing around. Now she is frustrated, full of pregnancy hormones and lonely at night.
This was the third part to this trilogy and I think all three books were great. I would definately recommend them. I think it is a good idea to read all of them to get the entire feel of the continuous story. The characters are deeply developed and I really fell in love with many of them through the journey. I would rate this story 4.5/5.

Say Forever - the final book in Something More series by Tara West. & I just want to say that I love the set up that was done for this series to show different stages of relationship. Bravo!

Since Christina found out that she was pregnant, she decided that she was ready to marry Andres. But with his crazy family and her actual mother, it's hard to say what actually goes. She said that she wouldn't make anyone push her around anymore but it is so hard to say anything when your future family only wants what's best for you. Then you got the crazy hormones that keep getting in the way. Andres is not doing so well either. Being worried for Christina, his nightmares are back. The future doesn't scare him but he wants to be able to provide for his new family. Realizing that he doesn't want to take over the family business puts him in tough situation.

Something More series was definitely a good run for me. Being able to see their relationship grow really made love both of the characters and wish that they would work out their problems. But in this book I saw the side of Christine that I did not like to see. Just as in Say When, she was being pushed around, didn't stand up for herself, and let everyone walk over her. She felt somewhat disconnected from the story until she finally took the wedding into her own hands.

Andres... Well he's perfect. Your typical book-boyfriend that... Well yes. I would like to marry him and carry his children. But their relationshp worked and the ending to this series couldn't have been better :)

Alright...we're onto the third book in Tara West's Something More series. I was kind of dreading this one a bit after how the first one ended. I was half-expecting it to be somewhat unfinished and a bit of a letdown. I'm so glad to say that it wasn't a DNF!

The amusing thing is that a year hasn't even elapsed in Christina and Andres' relationship. Andres, though, finally pops the question (not really in the most romantic way, might I add) and Christina, obviously, says yes. So off we are in a whirlwind adventure of planning a shotgun wedding because...duh-duh-duhhhhh Christina is preggers. YEP. ANYWAYS, maybe because this novel is borderline comical to me (yes, because I can totally relate to the wedding drama/disaster Christina and Andres go through), I enjoyed it more than the first. We follow the couple in their ups and downs, both of them dealing with different stresses and realities that a baby and marriage brings. Fortunately, their ever-hot-and-heavy sex life is still as hot as in the first two books in this trilogy :) Keeps you going... I'm not going to say this was my #1 series but it wasn't horrible. I think the trilogy probably could have been condensed into one longer novel.

My Rating: 3.5 Stars

I was really worried where this book was going for a good 70% of the story. I was so excited about Christina and Andres getting married and then it all went downhill fast! Circumstances pushed the wedding up sooner than they had wanted and, everyone had a say in how the wedding would go EXCEPT for Christina!!!! I wanted to reach through the pages and choke the lot of them. But, have faith in the author...by the end of the book, everything turned out fine. Christina and Andres found their happy again amd were married in a manner that suited them. They decided to live their lives for themselves, not to please their respective families. The epilogue tied up the series nicely. Good trilogy!

No this can't be the end!.. Loved loved loved this series. But I still want more. All the emotions and drama that come with families is evident in this story, I went through a range of emotions while reading and felt like I was right there with the characters.. Some I loved, others I hated..some I wanted to slap senseless..

I'm glad that things turned out how they did... I don't want to give spoilers needless to say, If you haven't read Say When and Say Yes then I would recommend you start at the beginning and enjoy the whole Something More Series..

Review:
Very rarely can I say that a series actually gets markedly worse. I felt like screaming half of the time at these characters. Authors it really is possible to write about a man who is close to his family but who also realizes that its OKAY to do his own thing. In the first two books, Andres and Christina were hot and I was really rooting for them to overcome everything that had tried to tear them apart.

This book changed that majorly. Christina returned to her doormat status which really frustrated me and Andres self esteem plummeted. Both sides of the family were deciding on things without even checking on what the bride and groom wanted. Now that doesn't sound too out of the ordinary but when Christina doesn't put her foot down, suddenly she's meeting with The Cobra's best friend who is going to coordinate the wedding, Andres aunt is insistent on her daughter Marie being a bridesmaid even though Marie and Christina hate each other.Christina is saying over and over "I don't want this" but she's not saying it to people and certainly NOT authoritatively.

Then we have Andres who is miserable at his job but feels a sense of family duty to stay there since his Tio & Tia took him in when his mother died. Yet, privately Andres yearns to persue his passion and become a chef. He's so focused on making Christina happy that he doesn't realize that if he's not happy Christina will never be happy.

And therin lies another issue I have with Christina. Her happiness is tied to a man. That should NEVER happen. A person needs to be happy on their own before they get coupled up. She also needs to find something that's just hers and not tied up with Andres.

I was happy to see that Karri made an appearance as did her son. I was not expecting to see Karri at all in this book. Plus Grace and her girlfriend had substantial parts in it which made me happy. Seeing that Christina did have friends outside of Andres.

I was happy with the ending and I was happily surprised to see the epilogue. I wasn't sure if we'd get one so it was a nice surprise to see it.It definitely did not feel rushed to me.

This book was easily the weakest of the three. Both main characters took major steps backwards which really bummed me out. That's the main reason I have to give this book 3 stars.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Sigh. This was the perfect conclusion to Andrés and Christina's story. This couple has been through so much with their past, yet their love gets them through it all.

Say Forever picks up where Say Yes left off. With everything that happened in book 2, Andrés and Christina are left to deal with a lot. Andrés' nightmares come back to haunt him and come between him and Christina. Christina is dealing with a lot of worries about her future and if she'll be good enough. Andrés and Christina seem to lose what has brought them together, their faith in love and themselves. They pull away from each other and it was heartbreaking to read. Book 3 follows Christina and Andrés as they deal with obstacles dealt to them by their families, exes, and their past. As previous books in this series, I read it in one sitting. The author's writing style pulls you into her story and you can't let go until the end. I enjoyed this book as much as the first two. Andrés is every woman's dream. As he battles his inner demons that come to light because of recent circumstances his love for Christina grows more fiercely every day. His love for her never falters. He loves with truth and conviction.

At times I wasn't sure how this will end. The author shattered by heart and slowly, piece by piece put it back together. The conclusion to this story reminded me what I love Andrés and Christina so much. It is not the perfect ending. It is THEIR ending. Everything went wrong when they lost the vision of themselves. When they put themselves first, things started to make sense. I loved watching this journey. Their story pulls at your heart strings. Their all consuming love had a lot thrown at them, but its obvious that they can overcome anything, even when it seems impossible.

As this is the last book, I was quite sad to say goodbye. These characters will stay with me for awhile. The author created such genuine and authentic characters and I highly recommend this series to anyone that wants a beautiful love story. It is so different than what is out there, and I find that refreshing. Christina and Andrés show that with love all things are possible.

What an awesome ending to a great series of books. (well I’m assuming it’s the end I guess I don’t really know that) I really really liked this book, I think it was my favorite of the series. I love when books show that with a little work Love can trump it all! This book picks up not far from where we were left off in Say Yes, there is definite angst between Andrés & Christina and they are trying to figure their way in life but everything and well everyone seems to want to but in. And before you know it Andrés & Christina are engaged. And the next thing you know well the wedding is running away without Christina, and somewhere along the way she has lost her voice and backbone, and gone back to being afraid of hurting people’s feelings. Somewhere Christina has to find herself again or she is going to lose everything she worked so hard to gain. And with all that is going on Andrés starts to have nightmares again and that only adds more stress to an already stressed situation. Afraid he will never measure up to what Christina deserves he forgets to find out how she feels about everything and continues to trudge though life with out seeing that she not only wants him but she needs him.

I have to say like I said above I love that this book shows that yes you know what there are bad times in relationships, but guess what they come with the good and if you want to succeed then you have to fight for both the good and the bad. This book shows you what exactly Forever is

After getting caught up in Christina and Andres' story in the first book, getting even deeper in the second, I was wondering where the third and final book would take me. It took me on a ride! The highs and lows, the funny parts of life, the devastating loss, how life can take you in a direction other that what you had planned. The thing that I like about this the most is that although Christina as a "poor little rich girl" she soon knocks that label on the head. And Andres is a strong male that I think most women would swoon over a little if they met him in real life - I know I would! These characters are larger than life and draw you into their stories, their background, their history, what makes them the way they are. But this is coupled with the sincerity of a 'normal' life lived. There is so much that I can relate to, like the stress of a wedding, friendships gone awry, the loss of a baby. I can't relate to the pressure of a well-paid, high-powered job like Andres but trust me, although money comes in handy, I much prefer my life as stress-free as possible!

The story is well-paced, the plot runs smoothly (more smoothly than life at any rate!) and the characters are all well thought out and rounded.

I don't think I have one favourite part of this book but I will say that although I really enjoyed the other two, this one is my favourite. I guess I'm just a sucker for a HAE, even if it's not in the way I imagined. If you are in the mood for a well-written, thoroughly enjoyable love story, then try the Something More series.

Say Forever is the third and final book in the Something More Trilogy by Tara West. It continues the story of Andres and Christina and the ups and downs in their relationship. I was given an ARC for a fair and honest review.

I will not go too much into the story as I do not want to give anything away for those who have yet to read it. Needless to say, if you think the ups and downs Andres and Christina faced in the first two books were tough, you haven't seen anything yet. Even with the tough times, there are some amazing ones as well. I laughed with them and cried with them. It is a fitting ending to their story.

If you have not yet read the first two, Say When and Say Yes, I would recommend reading them prior to reading Say Forever in order to understand the complete story. Also, these books contain graphic sex scenes, so are recommended for 18+. I can honestly say I have enjoyed all three books and am happy to have been part of the journey. When you have the time, I highly recommend all three books in the Something More series.

Say Forever is the perfect ending to the Something More series. Christina finds herself as the victim of a wedding planning take over. Andres is stressed out from his new job. Surprise news puts even more stress that. This book is filled with love, drama, comedy and even some sadness. I love the way this book ended but am sad that the story has ended.

Kind of liked it. Christina is pregnant and Andrés proposes to her so there's a wedding that's going to happen. Everything flipped from there and the ended was rushed hence the 3 stars. I want to get into detail about this book but I might just talk about the things that annoyed me and this series was good so that just sounds like a bad idea. Someone else might enjoy this more than me though.

Tara West knew how much I was wanting to read Say Forever when it was released so she sent it over to me at midnight on December 15, making it my first birthday present of the year (and the best one, if i might say so myself). I was so excited.

This was one of those books that I just wanted to tear through, but I wanted to slow down and savor it too because this was The End, El Fin, the final chapter for this series.

What a sweet ending to the story of one of my absolute most favorite couples, Andrés and Christina. I am so sad that this series is over for me. I think this is going to have to be one that I go back and reread just to reminisce.

I don’t want to give away any spoilers that aren’t in the blurb, which is going to make this hard to write because there is so much that happens to Andrés and Christina in this book.

Tara has this knack for coming up with the best conflicts and drama, she writes in such a way that your heart is torn out one second and you are cracking up the next, during a highly dramatic scene because seriously, the character had it coming to them. She brings you up and down on this emotional roller coaster throughout the book, one minute you are sighing, the next wiping tears away.

Our couple goes through some huge challenges, things that have broken couples, they have situations that would have had me stomping my feet and screaming like a child, and I would like to think I am a fairly mature person (as long as no one in my family is reading this). Seriously, how much meddling does one couple have to deal with? Makes me slightly grateful that my in-laws are far far away, because Andrés’ and Christina’s family do it out of love, mine meddles just for fun. At least Christina can say that Andrés’ family is in the middle of things because they love her (for the most part). That was not a woe is me moment, I don’t think.

Anyways, I highly highly recommend this series to anyone who is looking for a beautiful love story. Each of these books will be on my list of favorite books I have read in 2013. They are just that amazing. Grab Say When, Say Yes, and Say Forever and just have yourself a Tara West marathon. You will come back here and thank me after falling in love with our couple. I promise you!

Must admit I’m not one to finish reading a series (I did complete Twilight and The Hunger Games series), but now I can say I completed my first New adult series. The Something More series was a very entertaining read. I’d read the first book, Say When, because I heard about Ms. West’s NA series in some reading groups so decided to give it a try. I was hooked. The author did a fantastic job at tying all three books together—Say When, Say Yes, and Say Forever. She created a world of Christina and Andres that kept me reading. Not only were there elements I would expect in a NA series—sex—and plenty of it, but she created a storyline with engaging characters, characters you cared about finding themselves in difficult emotional situations, interesting, poignant and unpredictable plot twists, and most important, at least for me, the ending was perfect, leaving you sorry you had to leave Christina and Andres' world, but so satisfied that you experienced it. Well, done. Ms West hit the proverbial ball out of the park with her Something More series. Highly recommended. I’ll keep checking back to see if maybe one more book is in the works for Christina and Andres.

I have to say when Tara sent me this Third installment in the Something More series and I read the title my heart sank a little. The title Say Forever sounds like the end of the Something More series and folks I hate to say that this is the final installment. And then I was thinking who can take over my Andres fix and I can say that no one will be able to take his place.

I have said this a million times, but for you new followers out there I do not retell the book in my reviews. I feel like the authors write a book for us to read and they are the professionals and work hard writing so why spoil their work?

Haivng said that I loved how Tara closed out this unforgetable series. The emotions she puts into her characters will have you grabing for the tissue and dabbing your eyes. I can say that I got teared up a few times.

Say Forever wraps up the story of Christina and Andres in a fantastic way. They have had quite a few ups and downs throughout the series, but this may be their biggest trial yet. When pregnancy and wedding planning collide with two very opinionated families (with different opinions). I still love both of these characters, but there were times they tried my patience in the book. Throughout their ordeals they both learn to stand up for what they really want in life and look for what will make them happy. All the characters from their lives play a role in causing their problems and helping to find a solution - some more than others. While the book does end in a great happily every after, there is a fair share of tragendy along the way. Just like like. This is a great series and one I'm glad I read.

Christina is pregnant and is getting married to Andres. Weddings are supposed to be a happy time but Christna is cracking under the weight of all the dress and family issues. Meanwhile Andres is stressed out from his job that will pay him good but doesnt make him happy. Both are starting to break under the pressure.

Such a great ending to a fantastic trilogy. I just just up and down with being happy and sad for Christina and Andres. I loved the ending everything tied in so perfectly and there was no loose ends. Trust me when I say once you start this book you won't be able to put down this book until the very end.

This is the third book to the Something More Series so be sure to check out the previous before you get to this book

Wow...Just Wow. This was a great conclusion the this story. When we pick up with Christina and Andres they are living together and Christina is waiting for Andres to propose. Andres does and then the mayhem of planning a wedding with two family and totally different views begins. Not to mention that Christian and Andres are facing their own challenges as individuals and as a couple. I love how Tara made this couple feel so real. The things they must go through and overcome make the relationship all the more real. I felt as if I was going through it myself. This series was wonderful and I could not put it down until I knew what happened. I loved it and I have added Tara West to my list of authors to follow.

This is the final book in the Something More series. It was a great end to a wonderful love story. We come down to the wedding. Poor Christina and Andres are dealing with a wedding spiraling out of control with over enthusiastic family members wanting control and no one seems to care what they want. We go through some trials and tribulations, sadness, revelations, humor, and happiness all with a love so powerful it seems fated forever. I love the characters and how I feel I have come to know them. I love the fact that I can picture every thing Tara describes in my head like a movie or TV series playing out. This is a series you will want to read over and over again. Thank you

Thank you Tara for sharing a mobi copy of this book.
I love this series. The first thing that won me over was the covers. I didn't know what this series was about but got hooked in right away. I'm really glad how this book came together and the way it ended. Andres and Christina had their ups and downs all while having family members stir up more chaos. The only thing this story left unresolved was Andres and his dreams/psychiatrist.
Thank you for giving this couple their happy ending. They fought hard for it.

What a way to finish a series.

This is a series that I never wanted to see end.

The roller coast ride continues with Say Forever.

I fell in love with Andres the first time I read about him (Say When) and he just kept getting hotter and hotter. He is not the perfect male. He has flaws but he owns them. He is everything that I would be looking for in a partner, friend, lover. Oh? Did I say he is HOT? :)

Thank you Tara for letting me be a part of this wonderful creation and taking me along on this fantastic journey.

The effects of one night of having forgotten her pills causes Christina and Andres so many ups and downs. In unexpected ways it nearly destroyed their relationship as well. Christina still struggles with standing up for herself, and Andres still struggles with putting his needs before the obligation he feels to his Tio. It was a relief to see them finally move past their devastating events and figure things out together. I’d recommend this series. Great writing Tara West!

It's not enough to say yes. It has to be forever for a marriage to work. In Say Forever, the reader will see what Andres and Christina truly have to overcome in order to get married or to even make it down the aisle. Can the stress of life be too much for them to bear or will they be able to withstand the turmoil to be Mr. and Mrs Cruz. Read it to find out because it will make you smile and cry at times but mostly you will understand because it is how life goes.

Say Forever

This is the end of the saga of Andres and Christina. I read all three books in the series in one day and night. I just kept wanting to know what else was going to happen. It is a great story of love and what the love can withstand. I think it's a great series of romance and so much more.
