It was boring. I expected more pattern, more colour, fewer words. I think the format should have been like a dorling kinderley book.

I was hoping for more patterns -- a lot were presented as narrow slivers so you couldn't really get a grasp for it. Interesting to show how they've updated older designs.

I haven't finished reading it but it is a beautifully presented book which I love to flick through and soak in the imagery.
