You met Romeo Prince in the Amazon & USA Today bestselling novel, Sweet Home. Now hear the story from his unbarred, uncensored, and raw to the bone.It makes me laugh when I hear folks think Molly and I rushed into things too fast, spouting that we couldn't possibly have felt what we did for each other in such a short space of time. I say, how the hell would they know? We made it, didn't we? She became my whole life, didn't she? And as for my folks not being real, being true? Tell that to me aged ten, eleven, twelve—damn, all my bastard life—when I was never enough, when I was beaten until I bled for being too good at football and not being everything they'd the perfectly dutiful son. Tell that to thousands of kids around the world getting wailed on by asshole parents for whatever stupid reason; tell them evil don't exist in their eyes. Fuck Romeo and Juliet. This is the story of me and my girl, from my lips. No mushy sentiment, no cheese, just the plain, hard truth, and, because I'm feeling generous, I'm going to let you in on more of our story too.Sweet Rome is a New Adult Companion Novel to Sweet Home—contains adult content, sexual situations, and mature topics. About the author

Tillie Cole

55 books25.6k followers
Amazon & USA Today Best Selling Author, Tillie Cole, is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain. She was brought up surrounded by her English rose mother -- a farmer's daughter, her crazy Scottish father, a savagely sarcastic sister and a multitude of rescue animals and horses.
Being a scary blend of Scottish and English, Tillie embraces both cultures; her English heritage through her love of HP sauce and freshly made Yorkshire Puddings, and her Scottish which is mostly demonstrated by her frighteningly foul-mouthed episodes of pure rage and her much loved dirty jokes.

Having been born and raised as a Teesside Smoggie, Tillie, at age nineteen, moved forty miles north to the 'Toon', Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, where she attended Newcastle University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts honours degree in Religious Studies. She returned two years later to complete a Post-Graduate Certificate in Teaching High School Social Studies. Tillie, regards Newcastle to be a home from home and enjoyed the Newcastle Geordie way of life for seven 'proper mint' and 'lush' years.

One summers day, after finishing reading her thousandth book on her much loved and treasured Kindle, Tillie turned to her husband and declared, "D'you know, I have a great idea for a story. I could write a book." Several months later, after repeating the same tired line at the close of another completed story, she was scolded by her husband to shut up talking about writing a novel and "just bloody do it!" For the first time in eleven years, Tillie actually took his advice (he is still trying to get over the shock) and immediately set off on a crazy journey, delving deep into her fertile imagination.

Tillie, ever since, has written from the heart. She combines her passion for anything camp and glittery with her love of humour and dark brooding men (most often muscled and tattooed – they’re her weakness!). She also has a serious side (believe it or not!) and loves to immerse herself in the complex study of World Religions, History and Cultural Studies and creates fantasy stories that enable her to thread serious issues and topics into her writing -- yep, there's more to this girl than profanity and sparkles!

After six years of teaching high school Social Studies and following her Professional Rugby Player husband around Europe, they have finally given up their nomadic way of life and settled in Calgary, Alberta where Tillie spends most of her days (and many a late night) lost in a writing euphoria or pursuing a dazzling career as a barrel-racing, tasselled-chap wearing, Stetson-sporting cowgirl... Ye-haw!

I DO NOT love the whole second-book-from-his-POV thing that seems to be all the craze these days...but I loved this book, plain and simple.

description

Tillie Cole did an awesome job with it, especially being that she was basically telling the same story again while still making it a little bit different.

description

But mostly?

I just fucking LOVE Rome.

Seriously, I want to live in his skin.

Jay-kaaaaay, that would be creepy.

But come on, just imagine the guy.

FOUR ROME STARS.

description

Welcome to 'Sweet Rome, a re-telling of a tale with more than enough heart and soul, I already knew I loved this couple, so this novel was confirmation that this is a story I don't ever want to forget. Tillie Cole has my heart wrapped around this story and I can say with confidence that Rome and Mol flat out deserved my huge four star love for this book. Here are the rest of my 'fan girl' thoughts ...

What's it all about?
Romeo Prince is the university all star quarter back his specialities include his bullet arm and charming the ladies into his bed. To the outside world this mysterious hero can do no wrong but on the inside this popular man is broken. Living his life the only way he knows how, Rome covers up the abuse and neglect with his anger and talent on the field. But this hero is about to have an encounter that will change his life forever, meeting the love of his life, Molly Shakespeare but with everything counting against them can this true love stand the test of time to go beyond one perfect summer? Follow the continuing story of Romeo Price and Molly Shakespere as told from the inner heart of our favourite hero.

description

What did I love?
I was really looking forward to grabbing a chance at getting this story told from Rome's point of view, and I'm happy to report that I was not disappointed. The story show cases one mans journey to hope, healing and true love, simply put I could not get enough. This author gave me a bucketful of my never ending craving of the book butterflies every scene told from Rome's point of view made the story just that little bit more special. I could not stop smiling, I adored every second chance look into this heart melting love story. Romeo's struggles were heartbreaking, more so than in 'Sweet home' but I loved how the author made me connect to the story once again, it was Intensely beautiful in a way that only Tillie Cole can create without it being too overbearing or heavy. Rome and Mol are a couple that have swept me off my book feet and I'm hoping other readers adore then just like moi.

description

Why not five?
Don't misunderstand me readers, I love this couple and this story and this author. I'm not going to deny that I'm a huge fan, but (and it's a little but) I don't often fall in love with a book that is essentially the same story retold from a different point of view, and whilst for the most part this novel stole my heart, it didn't have the same impact that 'sweet home' had and that simply comes down to the fact that I knew what was coming; the first kiss, the moments of love, the drama, indecision and all those points in the book that made me sit up and take notice I'd already experienced. However, this story was gorgeous and Mol and Rome are now firmly up there with my favourites. Bravo favourite author you delivered a tale that once again stole my heart and I can't wait to read more from you.

description

Final thoughts ...
If you want to find a story that will sweep you away in all it's damaged, dramatic, sweet love glory then this is the series to fill that fix. You'll need to start with 'Sweet home' book number one in this addictive series, then once you've firmly fallen in love with Rome you'll be begging to grab this story told in his gorgeous point of view. Tillie Cole is an author not to be missed, she tells her stories with a confidence and talent that I just adore. Go grab it readers, You will not regret it ... Enjoy, kisses.

Title: Sweet Rome
Series: Sweet Home #2
Author: Tillie Cole
Release Date: 30th January, 2014
Rating: 5 stars
Cliffhanger: No
HEA:

In only few months that passed from the time I’ve read first book by Tillie Cole my love for her work changed into complete addiction. I have no idea how is it possible for the author to get me hooked so quickly and made me upgrade her from looking forward to to I absolutely have no idea how I would live without next book by her shelf in a matter of four months. Yes, Tillie Cole done the impossible. She mesmerized me with her fantastic storytelling, intense and realistic characters and fabulous romances and I can honestly confess she’s my go to girl if I need wonderful, heart swelling, butterfly in stomach’s reads.

Sweet Rome is another novel by Tillie Cole that simply begs to be devoured. I can't express how much I enjoyed this story, even though I already read it once in Molly point of view. Living this story through Rome’s eyes was magical. Every minute spent in his head was bittersweet and heartbreaking yet so satisfying. Once again I felt glued to the pages and just couldn’t let go till I reached the ending.

This lovely and romantic tale of college aged star-crossed lovers completely consumed me. And as every story has two sides after we learned what laid in Molly’s heart I couldn’t wait to finally dive into mysterious, sexy and intoxicating mind of Romeo Prince. I wasn’t disappointed, Tillie Cole done a great job.

Romeo Prince is the university star quarterback. Everyone knows him and his bullet arm as well as his charming character and looks that get all the ladies into his bed. There is not a single girl that wouldn’t want to spend the night under lickable body of Alabama’s star quarterback, there is also no single man that isn’t jealous of him. But Rome isn’t only a college sports star – he’s also a troubled character that gets his heart broken over and over again by his awful family. He feels lonely and broken.

There are no words that could describe how different person Rome seems to be. He’s nothing like other people think. And only Molly, a geeky British girl gets him and see something more than money and fame.

Tillie Cole not only told the same story in hero’s point of view. She’s done more. She phenomenally portrayed lonely young man and his wild journey of falling in love, of saying no to his parents and finally finding his own way.

Sweet Rome is perfect second half of Molly and Romeo’s story and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It has everything I so greatly appreciated in the first instalment – swoon worthy moments, sexy times, great plot and fabulous characters. It also surprised me with some other things I haven’t had a time to appreciate while reading Sweet Home.

It was amazing to have a chance to pay attention to the other characters. I’ve not done it earlier and I completely missed out. Thanks to seeing this story through Rome’s eyes I saw how awesome and sexy Austin is. My heart broke for him too. What he had to live through was harsh… and on contrary it made him very interesting hero. I really can’t wait to meet him properly in Sweet Fall. My instinct is telling me it the next story will break me in half and glue me together.

Overall, I am proud to say Tillie Cole is one of my favorite New Adult authors. She’s very talented and I admire her. Her stories are sexy, entertaining, realistic and beautiful. I think I have a serious crush on her. I highly recommend Sweet Rome to every fan of new adult books. It’s gorgeous story and it absolutely deserves my gushing, squealing, fangirling and tears.

Well, because I wrote this, I'm gonna say it's Amazeballs!!!!

Truth is, this novel was never planned. I wrote this after the fans of Sweet Home asked me to get inside Rome's head, and I thought, how fab! At times I loved writing his PoV. Other times, I wanted to tear my hair out! But in the end, I fell in love with Rome all over again and I ADORE the final result.

Rome and Molly will always hold a special place in my heart, and I hope you all love Romeo as much as me after seeing their story through his—beautiful brown—eyes.

Happy Reading, guys!!!

There are times when I finish a book that I’ve loved with characters I’ve grown attached to and I sit and wonder… what happens next? I’m not ready for their story to end. Epilogues are great, but a lot of times we only get a few months or a year into the future. Never a clear picture of what their lives will be. Thats what I loved most about Sweet Rome. We got a nice look into Molly and Rome’s future. The last 20% of the book was amazing. Did I mention that Sweet Rome is entirely in Rome’s pov?? It is. I love the male pov and being in his head was great.

I’m not going to re-hash the story, if you want a better idea of how much I enjoyed Rome and Molly’s story and how much I adore these characters, you can check out my review of SWEET HOME- I would recommend that all lovers of Sweet Home to check this one out- even if it’s just for the last 20% You won’t want to miss out on the real conclusion to Molly and Rome’s tale!

First of all I'm not going to review this one but more talk about my thoughts as this is Sweet Home in Rome's POV, also I will say this ~ I'm not usually one for reading the same story different POV in my case it's too many books and not enough time to read the same story but I took a chance on this one because for one I adored Sweet Home.

You can read my Sweet Home review here~https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

And secondly I LOVE Rome and I Just didn't want to move on so went forth and read Rome's POV. But HELL I loved reading his thoughts and seeing where he was coming from on many things, it wasn't boring and I was able to take a little more time in seeing things differently from his perspective it was insightful I mean he is one GORGEOUS Hero that had that damaged vibe where I just wanted to hug him but he was so sweet and lovely too, so yep I really enjoyed this that also maybe because I read this straight away after sweet home which countered for my enjoyment as a whole, I'd highly recommend reading this even if you don't do the same as me this one is definitely worth the read.

Here in Sweet Rome we have a Young man with Anger issues that doesn't tolerate much apart from his best mates and his passion for being the Quarterback on the field his only release being the women he craves or the small amount of attention he gets from that, well that was until he met Molly Shakespeare and we know the rest don't we??

So My Thoughts
Rome's childhood was not a good one he comes from a cold home, with an alcoholic mum who literally HATES him and is damn spiteful and a father who needs Rome to submit to his control in that he 'NEEDS' to give up the game and do his duty as a son if I ever hated any parents in a book it has got to be these two they're Cruel and unworthy to have such a beautiful loving boy who just needs nothing more than anything to be loved and to have some attention on him, to believe in himself and understand that he is worthy of such love. In his POV I really did FEEL his pain and how he just wanted to protect Molly 'his girl' how we would do anything to keep her safe yet you truly understood how he was being brought up in a cold unloving home, how the bruises were nothing compared to the emotions he had to go through as a young boy to how he's still dealing with that as a man, yet with Molly by his side he opened up didn't crawl inside but learnt what being Happy and contented meant we all want that but with Rome he truly deserved it.

 photo 22667995-9248-429B-ADB6-4CC113F3C29F_zpsit5wprep.jpg

You are going to go through the same plot and story but I did feel like I read new things second time round I savoured it a bit more didn't rush through it but grasped what was happening a little more, I was feeling for ROME every step of the way. He was gush worthy and melted my heart many a time.....but I also felt and read his pain what he went through his turmoil about his parents, about his future about his past, about football about Molly and about HIMSELF.

Loneliness
Even though he had people who loved him, he went home at night on his own he woke up on his own and as a person he was lonely yet with Molly she understood what loneliness meant, inside the walls he put up, she just UNDERSOOD HIM, was there for him and in turn LOVED HIM.

"I get so lonely that at times I literally think it might kill me."(......) Bracing in anticipation, her breath held as I confessed, "I'm desperately lonely, too." (....) Holding Molly tight, I said, "We don't have to feel lonely anymore, baby. I have you and you have me."

 photo 8F1BEBBF-6DB0-4D36-BCC7-5502ABB3CD0F_zpsfks46qzj.jpg

All in all they were meant to be, they fell they grieved they picked themselves up and they found happiness with each other.

I think I was definitely in the right mood to read a sweet Romance be it with a few tears along the way I enjoyed both sides of the coin I was able to see where both sides came from, how they both reacted to each other and the people around them who were they meant to be, yet they found each other and was in turn able to LIVE and BREATHE.

Ultimately they were better together than alone!!

 photo 3D7CBA14-889D-4D3E-B623-250F63083DB2_zpso2e8hu8p.jpg

I read a lot of dark romances last year (which is one of my favs) but because of that I took this series as a refreshing start to the year and I will definitely read more of Tillie's books in the future #NewTopFavouriteAuthorLOVE. I devoured both these books they consumed my life all last week so I will now go and clean my house haha!!

And lastly we do get the BEST Epilogue and the last 20% was all new material focusing on their future which was the icing on the cake for me.

Onto Sweet Fall

That is all

Do I love Rome?

Rome was

And that ending was

Seriously....

Best. Ending. Ever.

P.S.--I'm not going to lie....I read up until about 30% and then skipped to 80% to get to the end and the new stuff. No matter how much I love a book I just don't like to re-read the same story.

In this second installment he have Romeo Prince and Molly Shakespeare journey told trough Romeo’s eyes.
There was some aspects, like the struggle with his parents and the whole “engagement” story that we are able to understand better, since we have more details now. It was also very good to be inside Romeo’s head and have a new point of view of their struggle against their ghosts and their pasts. They were definitely two broken souls how healed each other.

description

And after a emotional journey and some tears what do we need? A happily ever after!
The last 15% of this book felt like I was in a rainbow colored world, chilling with unicorns and eating non-caloric chocolate-strawberry cupcakes. It was THAT good.
I love when an epilogue is set several years in the future so we can have an idea how the heroes lives ended up to be. This book gave us that and so much more.
If you liked the first book, you definitely can’t miss this one.

Characters Development: If I loved Romeo on the previous books, I definitely loved being inside is head. He´s one of the strongest and amazing male characters I’ve ever read. I loved how passionate he was and how nothing stopped him. Normally when I read the hero’s POV, the heroine always annoy me… I’m happy to say that wasn’t the case, I really like seeing Molly trough Romeo’s eyes. One of my favorites NA heroines, so far.

3 1/2-Made ME Smile-Stars

I can't justify giving this book, which is Rome's perspective of Sweet Home, a higher rating due to its redundancy to the first book. That said, I loved getting his point-of-view. This book ended with a heartwarming epilogue set in the future and, boy, did it put a huge smile on my face. I don't know what it is about this story or its characters that I love so much, but I do.

5 stars (Originally read 2/1/2014)

5 Stars (Re-read 10/21/2016)

Overall Opinion: I still loved this one! It'll definitely stay on my favorites shelf, and I have no desire to change my rating from 5 stars! I would highly recommend reading Sweet Home first. I read them in order, and I don't think that this packed as a big of a punch as that one did the first time I read it. Don't get me wrong -- this one tapped into my emotions for sure (as Ms. Cole always seems to do), but I think that Molly's POV is too valuable to miss! This is a retelling of that story from Rome's POV, and I know that some readers get irritated by the repetition, but I thought that it is awesome to get Rome's POV and more back story into his family life. And the ending and epilogue?!? Too good to pass up!! Even if you have no desire to read the full story (after reading Sweet Home), I think the ending and epilogue alone are worth the read for the closure. One of my top favorite endings in a book to date!

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Molly and Rome's story. They meet one day before class, and Rome is instantly intrigued with the nerdy British girl that doesn't have a clue who he is. He is the star quarterback for the university, so this is definitely not something that he is used to. Molly ends up being his TA, and they bump into each other through other events around campus as well. They forge an instant connection through shared loneliness and painful pasts, and fall in love. They have some major drama with family and ex-flings, have some hot sexy times, as well as some sweet and sad moments...and they get a HEA ending.

POV: This was told in Rome's POV.

Overall Pace of Story: Good. I never skimmed and it flowed well.

Instalove: No, I felt like the had good development into stronger feelings. They did have an instant connection though.

H rating: 5 stars. Rome. Poor Rome. I felt so bad for all of the horrible things he had to deal with. Yes, he was a manwhore with anger issues before Molly -- but I loved him!

h rating: 4 stars. Molly. I liked her nerdy, sweet ways. The only issue I have is her pushing Rome away when he needed her.

Sadness level: Low/moderate. I remember crying like a baby in the first book, but because I knew what to expect in this one I didn't cry. I did choke up a few times when we were getting their HEA (in the good way ;D)

Push/Pull: Not really

Heat level: Moderate. They have some hot chemistry and scenes, but not so much that it takes away from the storyline.

Descriptive sex: Yes

Safe sex: Yes. Birth control is mentioned. The H mentions that he has never gone without condoms in the past, but no mention for H's past that I remember.

OW/OM drama: Yes

Sex scene with OW or OM: No

Cheating: No

Separation: Yes

Possible Triggers: Yes

Closure: This had great closure. This has to be one of my absolute favorite endings to a book!! We get a lot of closure and a good sense of security in their relationship with a long jump ahead epilogue. HEA for sure!

How I got it: I paid $2.99 on Amazon for it back in 2014.

Safety: I'd say that this should be Safe or Safe with exception depending on personal preferences.

Reread September 2017

There's a reason I can't read this and book one, Sweet Home, back to back. They are very emotional reads for me. I can feel the pain and loss and it affects me. But I reread them because I love their love story and they both deserved a HEA. I like too, that in this book we get to see their future.

Now, I've never done this in a review, but I have a song on my playlist that I think fits here. To me, the words and feel of the song are how I imagine Rome feeling when Molly leaves him. If you've read the book, see what you think. If not, it's still a beautiful, emotional song.

Original review December 2015

I absolutely LOVED this book. I liked the first one but I was glad to be able to have Rome's thoughts in this one. It just solidified exactly what I knew-he was unequivocally and whole-heartedly in love with Molly. It showed in every thought he had and everything he did.

Rome's story is very tragic. You catch a glimpse of it in Sweet Home. It really shows in this book. I, again, cried big, fat, ugly tears. I hate to see someone mistreated and abused. I said in Sweet Home, his "parents" needed to die...this book just reinforced my feelings. They are awful! I was amazed that he could turn out to be a very likable person. I loved the epilogue and getting to see his and Molly's life in the future.

2.75: Rome needs some serious anger management issues

Okay so this is the first book from Rome aka the love interest’s pov plus a few extra scenes.

Now rome was quite aggressive in book 1 and it doesn’t get better here. I really don’t like how she just lets him be like that and he is too obsessed and possessive.
Like calm down okay?

“It only took Romeo one look at Juliet and his fate was sealed. Maybe I’m just like my namesake, and maybe you’re just like yours.”

description

I read Sweet Home last week so I did skim the parts in this story that were the same as in the previous book. That being said, Romeo Prince’s pov was terrific!

“I like the way you are with me. I like me when I’m with you. I feel like I could tell you anything, that I could bear my fuckin’ black soul. You make me feel… well… you know… You get me?”

I loved all the added scenes that took place during the previous story. At 80 % the BIG KICK ASS ENDING started. There’s no way I can’t give this story 5 stars with an ending like that!

Tille Cole gave our Romeo and Molly everything a reader could ever imagine. A great conclusion for Prince fans!

"We're star-crossed, Shakespeare. Fateful, star-crossed lovers. We have a lifetime to get to know each other, unlike our namesakes."

(BR with Mel and Dee)

 photo 3369805f6d0969e7bc1c719681c529e0_zpsd2195e9f.jpg

I have never had issues with reading a book that is written in another character's POV. Many times they turn out to enhance my experience with the story. Sweet Rome was just what I needed to get the full effect of this incredible love story.

We knew that Rome suffered quite a bit from his upbringing, but not the exact level of abuse he endured at the hands of his truly disgusting and evil parents. It seems as though he never truly received any love and acceptance from them. All he ever got was unrelenting physical and mental abuse. Rome is truly a damaged soul and these are always my favorite type of alpha male characters. Because they tend to be the men who love so intense and the lucky women who win their affections become their entire world. This is the man who has it in him to love unconditionally. Something I always dream to obtain. :)

 photo edc9bb92b90f10cbd07af4371b658aed_zps62765907.jpg

Rome was my favorite in the first book and he definitely held on to my heart oh so much more in this one. I cried for the little boy who wanted his parents love and acceptance so desperately. I cried for the young man, that even through all the years of abuse, still held on to a tiny shred of hope that maybe his parents would finally come around and give him the love that most children receive from their mom and dad.

The sexy times are just as HOT as they were in the first book. This time I was not at all weirded out by Rome's dominant behavior in the bedroom. It all made perfect sense once we were allowed to be inside his head.

It was incredibly sad, getting Rome's POV when Molly ran off to England. That time during Christmas was gut wrenching!! I just wanted to hold him close and love on him fiercely.

"Everybody leaves me. Nobody ever has faith in me. I'm never enough...I'm never fuckin' enough... What is it that makes everybody leave me...? What is it that makes them not love me enough to save me too?"

From 75% on, we are getting new material that was not in Sweet Home and it was all PERFECTION. Get ready to be swooning to the very end of the book!!
Romeo Prince is definitely one book boyfriend I won't soon forget. At times he reminded me a little of my #1 BB!!

Another favorite read for me, written by Tillie Cole. I am in a bit of a dilemma considering just a few days ago I was still in a "Raze Haze!" Then I decided to start this other series of Tillie Cole's, and lo and behold; I have yet another crush on one of her heroes!!! She is going to cause me to cheat on Raze..I seriously can't decided whom I love more! LOL
Joking aside, I have to say that this is a brilliant series..In fact, I have fallen in love with every book that has been written by this author! "Sweet Rome" is book two in this series; and it is mostly the same story of the first book, "Sweet Home." Book two was a treat though, as we got to get inside Rome's head to find out exactly what makes a guy like him tick. I fell in love with him all over again; or maybe I should say I fell DEEPER in love with him once I knew his thoughts! He truly is the definition of a hero, and for a guy that endured so much lack of love through out his childhood; he sure knows how to love deeply when he falls for a woman!

I normally don't read books that are the same as the first one in the series but just a different POV; but in Rome's case I am truly glad that I did give this book a chance! Not only do we get his version of how he met his soul mate Molly; but we get an extended bonus look into their future in the last 20% of the book. Any fan of book one, will want to read the last little bit. It was heart warming, in fact; towards the end I was brought to tears..(in a good way!!) Rarely am I moved to tears by a book, but I have been so consumed by Rome and Molly's relationhip it was impossible not to get drawn into their future.

In saying all of this, I would say this is a must read! I promise that you will fall in love with Rome and Molly all over again! I am now looking forward to the next story in this series...heck..anything and everything that Ms. COle writes....I am so there! She is now offficially one of my top fave authors of all time!!! Please bring us more wonderful stories..The more she writes...the more I will be happily reading!!!

I just realized I haven't rated this book!!!

What the hell is wrong with me...????
Rome and Molly would be so disapponted in me!

I love this book! Not as much as the first one because we know what's going on BUT there were some scenes in the end that I LOVED!Rome and Molly are one of my favorite couples and they've been through a lot so I was even more excited for their HEA and the amazing family they made!
I liked the way Rome was with his kids!He was nothing like his father and that meant a LOT to him!
"You okay,little man?"
"Are you a superhero, Daddy?"
"No, son. Why d'you ask that?"
"Because all those people are here today for you.
They keep saying you are the best, ever, and the only
other people who get treated like that are superheroes."
"I'm not a hero, little man." just threw a football good for a
lot of years and that's why we're here today, to say goodbye to
all the supporters before we head to Alabama."
"I have a secret."
"You do?Am I allowed to know it too? "
"I think you're a secret superhero and you're saying you're not
because superheroes are not allowed to tell no one, are they?
Just look at superman, no one knew about the real him."
"And what's my power?"
"That you can throw a football farther than anyone, ever, and...
You're the bestest daddy in the world. The kids at school are always
telling me how lucky I am.But they don't need to.I know it.
No telling the others, though, okay? It's our secret."
"Okay."

Rome&Molly were still crazy about each other and couldn't keep their hands off! They had a great little family and we read about their friends too.
Now I feel so much better...after reviewing this book!

"Hey, Mol."
"Hey, you."
"You going to give up that lucky sweet kiss?"
"If that's what you want."
"It most definitely is."

I was an undeserving motherfucker, completely worthless – I’d been told so all my life – but that only made what she said that much more special. To her, I was worthy.

I don’t think I’ve said it enough, so saying it one more time isn’t going to hurt:

I love you, Romeo Prince…so, so much.
 photo RomeoCollageSweetHome_zps88ff7e15.jpg
Le sigh…

I seriously have the silliest smile on my face. I know I must look ridiculous, but it’s ok. I’ll own my sappy spirit right now because I’m on a high. When I heard Tillie was going to rewrite Sweet Home in my beloved Romeo’s POV, I went ballistic. Bal-fucking-listic. I fucking LOVED that book, but to read it from Romeo’s POV? Fuck. Yea. I dropped my current read and jumped right on in to this one. I had to have my dose of Romeo.

“It only took Romeo one look at Juliet and his fate was sealed. Maybe I’m just like my namesake, and maybe you’re just like yours.”

Romeo’s life was turned upside down when he ran into a flustered Molly just outside of the Philosophy lecture room. He didn’t know what to make of this girl, but as soon as they started to talk, he realized that this girl didn’t know who he was. Not to sound cocky, but he knew who he was, what he is to the University: He’s the star QB for the Crimson Tide – everyone knew who he was and everyone wanted a piece of him, except Molly.

“I like the way you are with me. I like me when I’m with you. I feel like I could tell you anything, that I could bear my fuckin’ black soul. You make me feel… well… you know… You get me?”

Molly was unlike any girl Rome has ever known. He can just be him around her with no pretenses or expectations. As they start to open about their pasts, Romeo begins to realize how much he’s changing because of her. The pressures of being who he is and what his overbearing parents expect of him, Rome has a tendency to blow his fuse; he seems to be constantly angry, but being with Molly just calms him. He no longer lashes out nor does he use sex for release. All he needs is her. With Molly by his side, anything is possible.

“I’m going to take you now. I’m going to show you what you mean to me, how much I want you, and show you that you’re mine. You get me, baby?
“I get you, Romeo,” she replied with that sweet damn smile that she reserved just for me.
My smile, my girl…my fucking life.

This was fucking incredible. It was like reading one of my all-time favorite books all over again. Reliving all my favorite scenes through my Romeo’s eyes just makes me all gooey inside. I’m sincerely one happy girl. Thank you so much, Tills, for the opportunity to read this ARC. I love it. I love it. I love it.

“Sometimes you just know when a person is meant for you, and I always had with her. She got me… She fucking saved me.”

Rome Prince, I love you!!! 4 stars

This book is the retelling of Sweet Home from Rome’s POV, but also goes on to show us more – events immediately follows the first book, and glimpses into the future which were absolutely sensational.

I’m not going to rehash anything because it’s the same story as Sweet Home and I already gushed enough about that book (my review), but I loved the opportunity to get inside of Rome’s head as he met and fell in love with Molly. I’m an out and proud romantic sap, and watching the campus playboy fall head over heels for a girl for the first time was absolutely gorgeous!

This girl was turning into everything I needed but never dreamed of being able to get. On the surface, she was my exact opposite, but deep down, she was getting me like no one ever had before.

“I’m going to show you what you mean to me, how much I want you, and show you that you’re mine. You get me, baby?”
“I get you, Romeo,” she replied with that sweet damn smile that she reserved just for me.
My smile, my girl… my fucking life.

And though he may be a sweetheart who is hopelessly in love, he’s still a guy, and his narration reflects that perfectly.

I found myself below Molly’s balcony, looking up at the stone columns, a dim light coming from her room, and I shook my head in complete disbelief.
Romeo below fucking Juliet’s balcony…. Fuck. Me. Sideways.
Reaching down to my junk, I checked my balls were still there… You know, just in case they’d been revoked at such a pathetic and desperate act, but yeah—still intact and aching for the chick in that room just a stone’s throw away.

Rome and Molly together are something truly special. They are so deeply in love, and so in-sync with each other, but they are put through hell, and if Sweet Home broke my heart, reading it all from Rome’s perspective shattered it! . It was painful, but so beautifully written!

Alternate perspective books can be hit and miss, but I think Tillie Cole did a great job with this one. Her original story was wonderful, and seeing it all through Rome’s eyes made me fall for him even more. His strength and his huge heart absolutely shine, and I really enjoyed the opportunity to see him with his boys, particularly Austin, and I’m really excited for his book up next.

Sweet, funny, romantic and seriously sexy. I loved it!

4 stars.

I absolutely loved book 1 so how could I not love book 2...especially since it was Rome's voice guiding me! I know that this read was a duplication of the first book that for many is an issue, well, NOT for me! I read this for what it was...Sweet Home done in Rome's perspective. For me, this was truly amazing....

"What do you want Romeo? "What do you desire most from life?"...There was only one thing keeping me sane, so without thinking, I responded, "You."

"No really, baby what do you want?" "It's there for you to take." I was unmoved. "Just you baby. Your feel like home to me."

AAAAAAAAHHHH, SWEET ROME!

Best thing about this book.... the ever after, and the epilogue...so damn happy to know what the future brought Rome and Molly!

Thank You Tillie Cole...just thank you!

Really enjoyed this! So this book is basically Sweet Home in Rome's POV. There is a lot of re-tread here, so just be aware if you go into this right after reading book 1, you might go nutso. I am glad some of my fav GR buds pointed that out, so I waited a few weeks after I finished Sweet Home before starting this one.

If you loved Rome, then duh of course you will love this. He is just a yummy, foul mouthed, alpha, southern fried hunk of yum. The best part was the new stuff towards the end of the book (I think like around 80%). You find out what happens with Mol and Rome, post college, post draft, and 20 years later, and that in itself, is worth the one-click. Seriously. Perfect ending for these two amazing characters!!

Love this series, and can't wait to read Austin's book! And Ally!! Who is Ally with omg!! Read this series, you won't be sorry!!

Sweet Rome is the story of book one told in Rome's POV. Even though most of the story is familiar to me, I enjoyed it so much more coming from Rome's POV. He is downright dreamy in this book! This book had more emotion to it, & made me love Rome even more! We get more details & information throughout the book, but the last 25% of the book for me is what made it golden. It was one of the best HEA's I've ever read! I loved every sappy happy beautiful moment! (& sexy, we can't forget the sexy, because Romeo Prince is all kinds of sexy!!!)Tillie Cole gave me everything I wanted for Rome & Molly! It was just perfect! :D & I can't wait for Ally's book & would love one for Taylor too! :))

4 ❤️❤️❤️💔✨✨✨✨s❣️

I have to admit it was a great read and brought out even more emotions than the previous book.
However, it was almost the same story with Sweet Home, but from Rome’s pov and the ending was far more enriched with scenes of their future.
These two books should have been combined into one and not two different releases.

“Sometimes you just know when a person is meant for you, and I always had with her. She got me… She fucking saved me.”

After I finished “Sweet Home” I couldn’t help but wonder about Molly and Romeo’s future and this second book was the answer I desperately needed.

 photo tumblr_nd4tritCDi1qcm3fwo1_250_zpsxjqhydoq.gif

“Sweet Rome” retells the story of Romeo and Molly’s relationship, but this time we get Rome’s POV. It was great to relive some of the scenes with Rome’s input and feelings, even though, to be honest, at first, I was a little disappointed that it was going to be the exact same book, just different POV. Tillie Cole proved me wrong adding the greatest last 20% of a book. We get the most amazing epilogue ever. Molly and Romeo are the cutest, sweetest, most caring and I was honestly bursting with happiness reading about them and their cute little (maybe not so little) family.

“We are better together than apart, and no matter what happens in our lives, I know that waking up and seeing you each morning will always be the best part of my day.”

I’m not going to do a full on review because I feel like it would be the same thing as the first one but let me tell you one thing: If you read “Sweet Home” and liked it, you have to read this one, even if it’s just for the epilogue. Seriously, it is great, you won’t be disappointed.

I started reading sweet home, but I couldn't feel it so I thought let's try the book from Rome's pov, I love male's pov, unfortunately I didn't like that too! So, why is that?

- I felt like the book was written by a teenage girl who didn't do her homework about being in college.
- Characters are over the top in a really bad way, and there's no chemistry between them.
- MCs names are ridiculous, the plot itself was ridiculous and the dialogue was stupid, it didn't make sense (I laughed many times), and the arguments they had in class, oh my god! I just can't!
- A twenty something hero lets his father beat him, has a bad temper and thinks and calls girls, bitches, sluts and whores, guess what is he, a whore!
- too much ow drama and girls throwing themselves on the hero all the time (girls aren't that stupid).
- heroine not confident to have sex with hero because SHE DID IT ONLY ONCE, and guess what SHE DIDN'T LIKE IT!

All that happened in the first 33% of the book, So I stopped reading, I'm so old for this!
I should stop trying high school romance ... oh, it's college not high school, but it didn't feel like it!

**** 4 Sweetest Epilogue Ever!!! Stars****

(BR with Mel and Patty)

I'm going to keep this review short and sweet! This book is basically the same story from Sweet Home but told from Romeo's POV, except for the last 20% which bring us one the most beautiful epilogues I've ever read.

While I did enjoy reading about the story from Rome's perspective, I'm not going to lie, it got boring for me a few times there to read about the same events and I must confess that I was a bad girl and *gasp skimmed a little bit. Don't get discourage by my words about reading this book; I'm just not very fond of reading this type of books where the story repeats, doesn't matter how much I loved a story or even an author, I just don't have enough patience to read this types of books, at least not right away after reading the first book, maybe if I had waited a while and had the opportunity to actually get a chance to miss these characters I would have enjoyed more.

I must say again that my favorite part was definitely the epilogue, that was a really amazing addition to the story and one I'll never forget. Very romantic and always hot!!!

5+++ Stars! Sweet Rome is awesome. I absolutely loved Sweet Home, the first book in this series. Sweet Rome is a re-telling of Romeo and Molly's story but from Rome's perspective. It was awesome! Wait, did I already say that? Just reiterating how much I loved it. Seeing this story play out again from Romeo's perspective is like reading an entirely new story. The author's seamless writing takes us inside the beautifully complicated mind of Romeo Prince. Sweet Rome takes a deeper look into his sordid past and completely unravels his present. We gained a surface level understanding of Rome in the first book but this book just blows those already exceeded expectations right out of the water. His need for Molly and his feelings surrounding his life, his future, and how Molly so perfectly fits into that mold run so much deeper than we could have ever known. I loved his reactions to her. It was fascinating to hear Romeo's thoughts. Sweet Rome also furthers the story after where we were left in Sweet Home. And to top it all off, the cherry on top, we get the sweetest, most awesome, completely satisfying epilogue. And since that could never be enough of these two great characters we get a bonus chapter from Molly's POV. Sweet Rome is a brilliant follow up to Sweet Home. There was nothing disappointing about it. I have found before that the re-telling of a story from a different POV can get redundant. Thanks to Ms. Cole's flawlessly executed, beautiful words it didn't even come close to being boring or repetitive. You’ll fall in love with Romeo and Molly's story all over again and feel so happy after reading that epic epilogue. Bravo! Just awesome!

This book is pretty much a repeat of the first book from Rome’s POV… so I’m just going to repeat at the end. The only main differences are that since we’re in Rome’s head we’re not just limited to his occasional cheesy love declarations… we experience them in his head and to others.

We also miss out on his mom’s crazy antics of slapping, kicking, punching Molly, but get an extended “make up” scene at the National Championship game where the two go on for several pages while the entire stadium and viewers at home patiently wait for them to get it all out. 😏

We also get more follow-up on the couple after the draft… One month, 20-years, then an epilogue 6-months after that. My copy even has a bonus scene of them having their first child.

Bottom Line- This is one of those reads where the HOT campus stud H imprints at first sight on the smart/nerdy, croc/glasses wearing, not like other girls h. He has that OBSESSED, bossy thing going on and PANICS every time some wannabe OW causes problems making the skittish h do a runner where he promptly chases her down and showers her with cheesy declarations. So, I only recommend this to readers that like those type of romances, and not to those who like her newer darker stuff.
