Emmi and Luca go on holiday. Luca looses a bet and agrees to obey her for the week-long holiday. She forces him to lick her feet in a public area. Later, she edges him and gets him to commit to worshiping her. Later they start lovemaking and she demands he f*ck her properly. She puts him into a predicament by stimulating him and threatening to withhold sex for the rest of the holiday. Finally she mounts him and gets off by rubbing her pubis on his face.
The story might appeal to readers on at least 2 levels. In one respect it is a short story of femdom erotica. As such it ends abruptly: Emmi is eventually satisfied, Luca is not. There is no HEA. The story might stand as a prequel to additional installments for the continuing erotic romance of the two characters. In another respect the story depicts how a couple on holiday develop or enhance a FLR dynamic through the gentle femdom play of tease and denial. Heading into this dynamic neither Emmi or Luca know where their relationship is going. At a public place, Emmi lets ice cream spill on her foot. She orders Luca to lick it off and thus reinforces his foot-worship passion. Later, they retreat to their room and orders him to properly f*ck her. She places him in a predicament: either he satisfies her or he is denied any more sex during the holiday. Nice But Too Simple
Once you're into the story it reads well and is enjoyable. However the falling into FemDom seems too easy. Granted the author relates that the couple had played a little with that and BDSM before this vacation, but once their airplane touches down , the vacation starts and he loses the bet, she's all into it. He loves it, with only casual mentions of concerns.
This all seems too easy for the couple. Sure it gets us quickly into FLR, but we don't experience any of the tension and anxiety that I have to believe occurs when a couple starts down this road. no where do they discuss how they want to undertake this transition.
Anyone that knows my reviews understands that for me thrill of reading a genre like this would be as much about the individual's stress, as it is about the actual acts of domination itself. I think this book would have been a lot better either by further acknowledging the current stress, or by starting the journey before the vacation. Then we would have had a chance to see how the couple dealt with starting a FLR.
But that's not to say that reading this wasn't a lot of fun. The acts of domination are well portrayed and exciting. It's written such that I did not want to put it down and have already started Book 2. I think I'm going to want to spend as much time as possible reading about their exploits.
I just hope that as they go further and further down the path, we get to also feel what they are feeling and try and understand the doubts that they will have to have as he submits to increasing demands.
For an excellent book I need emotions as well as sex.

The premise is fun - an overly confident husband makes a bet on vacation and looses, so the wife makes him pay for being so cocky. The dialog was ok and there is some nice descriptive scene setting, with very little internal dialog, so the plot is delivered mostly though their words and some descriptions of actions. I would have like to see a little more of the internal thoughts of both characters. We are meant to believe that this is the first time that our couple has ventured into this type of female domination, but we don't see much of any uncertainty, especially from the FMC as just just leads things from one dominant act to another. In general I like these kind of "first time" stories, but this one, like many others, jumped too quickly into the deep end.

This was an entertaining and spicy read that lets a couple, who often explore their sexuality, open to a bet with huge implications for Luca. When his wife, Emmi, wins their bet, he becomes her servant in all things ;P He really gets surprised at how he responds to her expectations and treatment of him, feeling both fear and excitement. This is a serial story, though, so it has an abrupt ending leading into the next book that will carry their journey forward. Definitely a FLR with heat so be ready when you dive in ;D

I'm still really not sure how I feel about this erotic novella.
I do enjoy females taking the lead but I was uncomfortable at times about the humiliation of Luca out male protagonist. I felt so sorry for him at times and I don't think I could emasculate a man to that extent.
However I have to say that this short tale is very well written, very erotic and not for those easily offended.

I thought it was well written. I liked the two characters and that the male protagonist was open and adventurous without having to be either overmasculised \dom in disguise or undermasculised like that's the only kind of man who can submit. I was a little disappointed with the end as I wasn't aware it was a novella and there would be no ending. Like Luca I was left a little unsatisfied and what next.

Pleasant surprise!
I didn’t know of Mara Renaud, but I’m sure glad I came across her stories. After this one I’m intrigued how far Emmi is going to go with her boyfriend Luca. She has him at her feet, literally, in no time and from there this new domme has everything under control, including her boyfriend. A good start to the series. Looking forward to the next one!

He was such a good submissive for Emmi. She was cruel to him though definitely a femdom you don't want to mess with. It's a good story to read it's also on the shorter side so it's easy to fit it in.
