Grizz My role is easy enough—stand by my President’s side and back him whatever. But when his old lady starts making suggestions to improve the club, it gets my back up. Being assigned to watch over the club whores was not on my list of stuff to do. I’m the goddamn Vice President, not a prospect. When I get paired with Fable . . . or Luna . . . or whatever the hell she calls herself, I’m less than impressed. She’s not easy to crack, and she makes it clear she doesn’t want me around. But the more she protests, the more I’m drawn to her.
Luna I never asked the Vice President of the Chaos Demons to get involved in my life. In fact, he’s the last thing I need. But he stomps on in anyway, tipping my world upside down. Being a club girl isn’t ideal, but it’s all I’m good at. Even when I think I can sort my life out, my mother and narcissistic brother are there to bring me back to reality. Grizz doesn’t approve of my lifestyle, but when my world falls apart, it’s him I need.
Will they survive the secrets meant to break them and get the happy ending they deserve?
Nicola Jane, a native of Nottinghamshire, England, has always harboured a deep passion for literature.
From her formative years, she found solace and excitement within the pages of books, often allowing her imagination to roam freely. As a teenager, she would weave her own narratives through short stories, a practice that ignited her creative spirit.
After a hiatus, Nicola returned to writing as a means to liberate the stories swirling within her mind. It wasn't until approximately five years ago that she summoned the courage to share her work with the world.
Since then, Nicola has dedicated herself tirelessly to crafting poignant, drama-infused romance tales. Her stories are imbued with a sense of realism, tackling challenging themes with a deft touch.
Outside of her literary pursuits, Nicola finds joy in the company of her husband and two teenage children. They share moments of laughter and bonding that enrich her life beyond the realm of words.
Nicola Jane has many books from motorcycle romance to mafia romance, all can be found on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited.
How this book has a review of 4 stars is beyond me. It literally reads worse than the worst book you would find on Wattpad. No storytelling, no character personality, no relation between who the characters are and the way that they act.
What do you mean you are the vice president but you thought punching the man she owes a debt to would help her?
All these characters are dumb b*tches
As the president of an MC are you not supposed to stand for something? You know one of your workers is getting raped and instead of you to step in and I don’t know do your job, you say that it’s their business. So what are you there for then??
And the actual audacity of this man to judge her for working, unwillingly might I add, but forgetting all about his ‘morals’ when he wants to have sex with her. Actually disgusting. He had a holier than thou attitude with nothing to show for it.
Lexi is an opp. Who needs enemies when you have a friend like Lexi. Just when luna is coming into herself as a woman and someone with self respect this bird makes her second guess the right decision with Grizz after he has gaslight and borderline mentally abused her.
This isn’t a romance story or a book about love. It is a book about how everyone is complicit to a toxic relationship where there is a clear power imbalance and instead of helping the female lead who has suffered enough they continue to allow the male lead to objectify, hurt and break down the woman.
What an absolute awful boo by this author. You should really put down the pen if these are the stories you write but present as ‘romance’
DNF @ 15%. Club whore heroine who lets her brother’s friends rape her to pay off his debts. H is lusting after another woman while h is getting the crap beat out of her, getting raped, whoring and having an 8 week old baby. Too depressing. Not for me.

This was an amazing MC book that pulled at every heartstring I had. It was so emotional and it was written wonderfully because I was able to feel all the struggles that Grizz and Luna went through.
Luna was one of the club girls and had such a horrific life that I had hoped from the very beginning that she would get a HEA that she deserved. Her journey to get there with Grizz was a never ending road through so much heartbreak that I couldn’t put this book down. Grizz and Luna had this connection in so many ways that I couldn’t stop rooting for them.
I highly recommend this book with a storyline that was fantastic.
The asshole mmc thinks he is better and above the fmc who is a club hoe and insults and belittles her any opportunity he gets and fcuks her any opportunity he gets and he is dating a 'good gal' on the side. He starts caring for the fmc's baby and thinks fmc is not a good mother as she is a hoe. Her brother is her pimp and keeps pimping her out to pay for his drug addiction. The mmc has a holier than thou attitude whereas he is not better than any other men in fmc's life because he uses her on the side and dates a "good gal" and when the good gal finds out he denies that the fmc means anything to him. He says she's just a good fcuk for the use of the brothers and him and she means nothing to him. The good gal gives him an ultimatum to get rid of the fmc if he wants a chance with her, and he tells her to let him think... he actually agreed to it. The fmc hears all this, and the next day, she tells him what she heard and thinks about him and goes back to her pimp bro and let's him use her again. Her pimp bro calls in the social services to take away the baby, and she goes back to the manhoe mmc to plead and tells him it's his baby. He is again angry and has an attitude and tells her she is the worst mother and blah blah. It takes the prez's wife to bring him down his high horse and tell him he is responsible for everything that's happened with fmc recently and he realises his mistake a little but still he doesn't 'forgive ' the fmc. It takes her cleaning up herself and baking bread at his bar for him to realize she is a good mother and wants a relationship with her... she tells him off, but the wife of Prez again tells her to give him a chance. Frankly, she didn't need to pimp herself out she could have tried to change her life a lot earlier by leaving her shitty mom and bro and making a better life for herself.
Finally, the mmc and fmc get together without much grovel from him. At least he is not as bad as Kain and Cooper from another MC series by this author, which I regret reading.
This book sent me on such a roller coaster. I may have cringed when I first learnt that the h was a CW. I’m not a fan of the CW to Old Lady trope. But OMG you can’t help but love Luna. She’s so broken but so strong, with a horrible upbringing she does the best she can with what’s thrown at her. As for Grizz well, he feels like I’ve stepped back in time to old school NJ and the King reapers time. He is a massive prick. I was so angry with him so many times that I lost count. My heart broke more than once for the things he said and the way he treated Luna. But the main question I ask myself in this case is does he redeem himself. Yes, yes he does, but by gee I didn’t think it was possible. He’s a biker, he’s a jerk, he’s alpha did I mention he’s a jerk? Bravo NJ

She stares down at the ground. “Now I’m earning a living the way you think I should,” she mutters. She raises her head and her eyes are full of hurt. “Being a good mum is providing for your child. I was always doing that, just not in a way you accepted.”
I give a nod. “I was out of order.”
“And I know I messed up. I hold my hands up. But it wasn’t because I was a bad mum. It was because I was trying too hard to be good. Sometimes we get it wrong, and I got it wrong, but I always tried, and in my opinion, parenting is fifty percent practise and fifty percent failure. She didn’t come with a handbook, and I totally wing it every day, but so do other parents, not just the ones who work in unconventional jobs. I want to forgive you, Grizz, but I’m not sure I can. And I don’t know how I feel about this sudden turnaround because you’re finally not ashamed to be seen with me.”
“I was never ashamed,” I argue.
“You didn’t look at me then the way you look at me now. I still had sex with all those people,” she says, and I look away. “That will never change. And the words you said to Axel, about you not being able to get past that, is what’s holding us back. I can’t change my past. I will always be that club whore, and worst of all, I’ll never forget what you said about me.
Kde sakra, kam měla jít, úřad práce ji nepomohl, bratr by ji stejně kdekoliv našel. Ano mohla do nějaké charity, ale udělala menší chybu že šla zkontrolovat svou nevděčnou, zlou matku.
L Love this series, the characters pull at the heart strings but also makes you want to punch the lead male in the face for being stupid. Grizz and Luna have similar pasts and have handle them differently. They are attracted to each other, but she thinks because she’s a club girl, he won’t want her. Grizz is trying to not want Luna.b it his feelings keep getting in the way, and the fact the Presidents woman, Lexi, set in motion their little friendship. When Grizz finds out Luna had a beautiful little girl, and is still trying to work as a sex worker, he can’t decide whether to chain her to him or let her go. They fight, love, run and finally get their heads in the game. Grizz and Luna both love each other and their little girl Ivy, and decide to finally become a family.
this book doesn't make sense, its set in the UK, and they have social security free housing, healthcare etc, luna could have gotten away and survived without a job, hell I know n have seen plenty of single mothers do it. so the whole premise that she had to be a prostitute to live isn't correct. the benefits system is far more substantial than in the USA.
ok so let's be honest, this isn't a romance. its harsh cold sober reality. grizz frankly is a cunt. I use that term specifically cos calling him a bastard just isn't enough.
luna was a victim of child sexual abuse and sexual slavery from the age of 11 yrs old, he knew that but still repeatedly calls her a whore and is disgusted with the number of men shes had sex with. fucking hypocrite, how many women has he fucked? honestly i hate him.
luna is a victim of her circumstances . im frustrated she didn't leave especially after ivy's birth. social services n housing would have put her in emergency housing with a baby. plus she could have gotten a grant to buy baby items. milk nappies etc all could have been received too
as with book 1 the problem with this series is that it shows the harsh reality of life (i hate it) our dreamy bikers don't look so fabulous in this light do they. club whore's who are actually prostitutes, who would have thought.
also luna had a baby 2 weeks ago n is having sex multiple times a day? my vagina was mush after giving birth, not least the blood n stitches, even if she didn't have those she would still be swollen, bleeding and tender. honestly its cringe every time she has sex, there is nothing remotely sexy about any of the sex scenes
I can't say I enjoyed this book.because its just about an abused women who continues to be used n abused by the club.
same old double standards with all these biker books, the guys fuck everyone but only settle for pure, innocent righteous women.
The FMC of the story is a club whore who's been prostituted out since a young age by her whole family and her brother is using her to pay off his drug debts. That in itself would be a rough enough premise for a story - the SA and the emotional damage etc. However Luna has a baby and her child is only TWO WEEKS OLD and he is bringing his friends over to start having sex with her. She doesn’t want it so basically they're raping her. The really shocking thing for me about this book is that any potential discomfort or pain so soon after child birth, the risk of infection, (the first 2 weeks are most dangerous) just doesn't get mentioned at all.
Grizz's attitude towards Luna is just horrible, from the beginning he's such a hypocrite and a misogynist. He knows that her brother is pimping her out to be raped in order to pay for his drugs and has done so since she was 11 or 12 years old and frankly for some time he seems to be blaming her for it due to his own prejudices. Eventually he pulls his head out of his arse and starts helping her in the best way he can.
I had such compassion for Luna. Despite everything she had gone through she was a strong person and was determined to do the best for her baby even though others including Grizz didn't seem to think so at first.
I really loved Lexi in the way she tried to make the men see that's it's no schoolgirls ambition to become a club whore or a prostitute and that circumstances lead them there. I loved that she really went in and told Grizz what she thought of him.
The characters are well written but to be honest Grizz is not the type of man I would want as my MMC as it takes him too long to overcome his prejudices despite what what he knows about Luna.
This is the second book of this series and it was so good. Axel’s ol’ lady has an idea and wants this place to be more like family and that includes the club girls. Axel also thinks one of them could be chatting with cops, so the guys are supposed to find out of the girls are chatting. Grizz gets paired with Luna and is not happy with it. Luna is a selective mute and doesn’t talk to new people, only those she feels comfortable with. It has to do with her childhood and how she was treated and is still treated. I won’t go into it, but it was not good at all. While spending time with Luna he learns that she is not as bad as he thinks she is. Nicola just did a great job even though there were times when I want to kick Grizz in his 🍑. There is drama, familial and ow, angst, suspense, secrets, mistakes, shocks and discoveries. Will Grizz realize that Luna is the one for him, or will he take her mistakes and use her mistakes against her and ruin what could be a great thing? These two are perfect for each other and you can see his protectiveness over her, even though he acts like an 🍑. I really did like this book. Even though these men frustrate me to know end, they always keep bringing me back. I am hooked on another series of this author. She does great on keeping her readers hooked even though they will get frustrated with these alpha men. 🤣🤣 I can’t wait for Fletch’s story.
Grovel = this author rarely has much grovel...in this one, the H says things directly to and is overheard by the h that are insulting, degrading and slurs. H never apologizes for saying what he said nor deny that what he says is what he means/feels. In reality, it is more than as the h improves her life, the H becomes more accepting of the h and feels that she is now worthy of the H...so yeah, no real grovel. The H does nice things for the h, but it did not stop him from still saying such ugly things to the h.
OW/OM drama = h's brother and mother have pimped her out since she was 11, E-L-E-V-E-N, years old. They constantly pimp out the h in various and horrific ways. They both end up causing the h to lose custody of her newborn daughter. Comeuppance? Mother ends up killing the brother and then mom is killed by the MC.
SA/R = as above, the h has been victimized since she was 11 and her body was being used to pay back the debt of others whether she consents or not (often does not consent)

It’s been a minute since I read an MC Romance but a post on Facebook caught my eye and it’s a fairly short read at just over 200 pages.
Grizz is the VP of the Chaos Demons and Luna is a club girl who also works in a brothel run by the club. She has a bad home life with her brother using her to pay off his debts all while looking after her weeks old baby, Ivy. Grizz is assigned by the club to watch over her and he gets attached to both Luna and Ivy but because of trauma from childhood he likens Luna to his mum and doesn’t see her as a viable option for his Old Lady. He is also dating the coffee shop owner next door who he sees as a potential future! It all blows up in his face and while he is dating the nice coffee shop owner, Luna is subjected to some pretty horrible treatment by her brother and who he owes a debt to. Luna loses custody of Ivy and Grizz blames her but when he sees the light he has do do a good bit of grovelling (which could have been more in my opinion).
All in all though it was a good read for a bit of a change!
Book two in the The Chaos Demons Mc Series. When the new president oll lady wants to change it up in the club. All you do is agree. Grizz is paired up with luna. Watch over the club girl. It starts up simple look out for her. Then Grizz finds out luna has a baby. He takes notice. Luna hates her life but her baby girl is the best thing that could haven’t to her. Her brother pimp her out. She has nowhere to go. Grizz is making more harder for her. He takes care of her and makes her believe there is more than ur body. Grizz hates that’s she’s a club girl. He need to do his job. He gets complicated when he starts to have feeling for her. When her kids gets taken away. That’s where she decides she need to change to bring her baby back in her life. Grizz is there all the way. He can’t stop the feeling of caring for her and her baby girl.
I am generally not a fan of club girls, or reading about them. I took a chance with this book and I’m glad I did. This book is told from a perspective I did not even consider, and I found that I was in fact, jaded and judgmental when it came to the club girls. The story of Lu and Grizz runs the gambit of emotions. In the end, I am still not a fan of Grizz. I think he was very harsh, and unusually cruel towards Lu. Even though in the end, they got their happily ever after. I still hold a grudge against him. I found myself routing for Lu and love that Lexi played such a positive influence in getting her turned around. The story was well written, the characters well developed and the storyline I found very unique. Well done Miss Jane.
Second book in the Chaos Demons series and OMG!!!!!
Grizz (Warren) is the VP and he’s getting a little ‘peeved’ with the Prez’s ol’ lady telling them all what they should be doing…….
Luna (Rebel) is one of the Club Whores, but also works in the ‘gentleman’s’ club too, but she’s been keeping a secret that soon gets revealed…….
What will happen when Grizz finds out her not 1 but 2 secrets all while trying to woo Danii??????
Well read this and find out, it’s spicy 🥵🌶️ and also a little dark in places, OH and although you’ll want to hate him, Grizz will show you that he’ll change your minds 😜😜😜
Axle bowing down to his Ol Lady Lexi’s wishes that the guys each gets to know the club girls assigns each to one of them, he has an ulterior motive as he thinks someone is ratting to the police and he thinks it might be one of them. Grizz is the VP and he’s not immune and he’s told to get to know Luna, find out why she’s been missing from the clubhouse, turns out she has a two week old baby girl, Ivy and is trying her best but she also has an abusive brother who won’t let her.
There’s more to this and honestly at first I thought Grizz a d&@k and I felt sorry for Luna.
This is a great story, so good that I read it in one go.
This was another relatively quick and enjoyable read from Nicola. I would make sure you check her trigger/content warnings as there are some things/scenes that may not be for everyone. They are skippable if you are someone who can skip over detailed triggering content.
I’m such a sucker for books with babies. It never fails. Pregnancies. Babies. Kids. I fall for them all!
Fable/Luna had such a traumatizing and tough childhood. She struggled so hard to do what was best and try and get away from the lifestyle her family led. Grizz did not make things easier. He was such an asshole at times because he couldn’t see past the similarities to his childhood.
Grizz is one of the most frustrating men on the planet, he falls for Luna but won’t admit because she’s a club girl ( he uses another word), he says he wants to help her like his mum never was but he confuses her with his blowing hot and cold and at times down right artic. That loves him and he chips away at her because he has a big mouth and never checks who can hear him. He hurts someone else because he couldn’t admit it was Luna he wanted. She has been taken advantage of by both parents and older brother, then blamed for it, used and abused her whole life. Baby Ivy is her world but that gets shattered. Grizz better be good to her
I did not think I would like this book. Parts of it I didn't. Luna did what she had to do to survive. Grizz was very judgemental considering what he did for a living. Luna had such a heartbreaking life. Little Ivy was her baby girl and she loved her so much. Grizz talked so bad about Luna and it crushed her so much. I ended the book not really caring at all about Grizz. I wish the author had given Luna a better job than what she did. Parts of the book were hard to read. I gave it 4 stars because some of it was just to over the top.
I couldn't turn the pages fast enough and was captivated by Luna and Grizz from the very beginning. There were moments I wanted to hand Grizz his own butt for how he treated Luna after truths were revealed and I'm so happy he saw the error of his way. My heart hurt for Luna as her past was revealed and I couldn't be happier for her and how with the help of her new family she became a stronger women. I loved their story and can't wait to see more of them in the future.
MMC/FMC- Grizz and Luna Genre- MC Romance Heat- 🌋🌋🌋. They do the thing and use the P word. Series? Y Safety? Oh, son… Triggers- We got Triggers like Roy Rogers. Cheating, Forced Prostitution, S.A., Violence, Language, Sex. Tropes- Hooker with a Heart of Gold, Single Mom, Secret Baby, Club Ho-Ho-Ho What I thought- I would have rated this book higher except the triggers make it kind of depressing. Still, I liked when That was so cool that I gave the book four stars.
I loved Reaper and the Kings books. It was nice seeing Reaper make an appearance. To be honest,.I don't think I would have read this book if not for Instagram. Nicola's teases on Instagram made me hunt down and find out what book she was talking about and went right on KU and downloaded if. Luna has been through so much in her life that if she wasn't as strong as she was, she would have broke years ago and never made it as far as she had. Grizz is a growly alpha VP of the Chaos Demons MC.
This was, wow. This poor h has been abused, in all ways, her whole life. Forced into prostitution by her family at 11. Forced into prostitution, aganst her will, beaten by her brother and his friends whike be raped. And this H, who is a manwhore, btw, is worse than all of them. The way he speaks to her and about her is so awful. How he could not have known that she was forced into that lifestyle is beyond me. He called her such horrible names, but that didn't stop him from having sex with her. Ugh. He was awful.
Luna’s life isn’t easy — she’s surviving as a club girl while also dealing with family challenges that pull her back into chaos whenever she thinks she’s getting control of her own world. Grizz, for all his tough exterior, slowly finds himself drawn to her strength and vulnerability, even when she fights him every step of the way.
i wanted to slap him so much in this book the way he put her down so much he needed to grovel alot more i think ,
◘ Abuse ◘ Romance ◘ Found Family ◘ Dark Romance ◘ Dark ◘ Forced Proximity ◘ Second Chance ◘ Small Town Romance ◘ Contemporary
Grizz is VP and tasked with watching over the club girls and in particular Luna, she's hiding secrets but ultimately just wants to be loved, and we'll Grizz makes a few errors that could end what could be between before they ever truly start. This story take you on a wild ride of emotions, drama!! Desires steamy scenes and more! Your gonna want to band Grizzs head together for his actions, but can he make up for it?
These two did not have the best childhoods. That causes problems between them from the get go. Luna has been used forever and for the longest time Grizz just makes it worse with his words. You'll want to hate him and love him at the same time.
Luna is determined to make herself a better person for her daughter. Will Grizz take his foot out of his mouth long enough to realize he loves her?
What a great way to bring me out of a big book slump. Nicola's books are something I can always go back to when I need a guaranteed book that will give me all the ants and feels I enjoy in a book. I think Luna and Grizz are two of my very favorite H and h's ! Add in baby Ivy and It was complete perfection for my type of story. I was not sure how I was going to feel about Luna/Fable as the heroine but this surpassed all expectations.
Wow this book took me by surprise I wasn’t expecting it to Ike it this much but what a surprise it was. I started reading it at 1:00am because I couldn’t sleep so I was like “I’ll read a few pages so it can make me sleepy” and it’s now 4:20am I devoured this book in one sitting! It was that great! This is actually my first book from Nicola and after this one I’ll definitely read others! I loved it!
When Axel’s old lady suggests that they need to know more about the club girls, Grizz his VP is not best pleased. He is assigned Luna, who has been missing from the club for a while.
Luna has had a traumatic life at the hands of her family. She is trying her best to make her life better and her secrets safe.
This is a definite emotional rollercoaster, hold tight as it’s full of danger, angst and drama. I’m looking forward to the next in the series.
