I am at the kind of fun party I used to dream of attending. And I want to leave.

I find the only empty room in the house. In the basement, there’s a small laundry room. I go in there and let a few silly tears of self-pity roll down my cheeks.

“Are you okay?”

I almost jump out of my skin. A guy is standing behind me in the laundry room. I wipe my cheeks as fast as I can, hoping that he will have no idea I’ve been crying. “Yeah,” I mumble, not trusting my voice.

I turn.

Oh. Wow.

Sawyer Tremaine is standing there. All of him, in this very small room. I can’t believe I didn’t notice him. Admittedly, he was hidden by the door, and I swung it shut without turning around. He is folding clothing and setting it neatly into a white plastic laundry basket. Jeans cling to his hips and follow his amazingly long legs. He’s wearing a white t-shirt. He has a build that is not unlike Hugh Jackman’s when the actor plays the character of Wolverine. A beer is standing on the dryer. “Hi, I’m Sawyer.” He holds out his hand.

“I know. I mean, I’m Claire.” I take his hand and awkwardly shake it.

He studies me with his stunning violet eyes. He has long, black eye lashes despite having blond hair. “Are you sure you’re okay? You look like you’ve been crying.”

“No. My eyes just got watery. No idea why. It just happened.” I add, floundering, “It’s probably my contacts,” I add.

He folds a shirt and puts it in the basket.

The significance of that suddenly hits me. “You live here?”

His brow lifts. “I don’t usually go to parties and fold other people’s clothes.”

“I guess not. But why would you even want to do it at your own party?”

“The dryer was finished and I didn’t want the stuff to wrinkle.”

Logical, that’s true.

Sawyer holds out the beer. “I just opened it and haven’t drunk any.”

“I don’t drink,” I say quickly.

“Okay. If you’re sure.”

“I am so sure.”

That makes him smile. He is really gorgeous. In a confined room, his gorgeousness is making me want to hide in a corner and try to disappear.

That was high school Claire. New Claire, with a makeover, should—

A crazy thought hits me.

Balanced over me, biceps bulging, he kissed me.
"I want to suck you off" I whispered awkwardly.
"Could you teach me how to do it?"

WOW, big 3.5 kinky heels!

Claire Thomas, the shy virgin college girl who hasn't even had a kiss.
She has suffered nothing but a life of torment and bulling throughout her schooling, but now, she finally gets her chance with Trey, the boy she has been crushing on since high school.
After a disastrous first kiss, Claire decides to take matters into her own hands, looking into finding someone to hire to get her some experience to seduce Trey.

That's when her roommate recommends Sawyer.

Sawyer Tremaine, the drop dead gorgeous dirty blonde illegal street racer, known best for this amazing skills in bed and being the king of one night stands.

After an awkward meeting between the two at a party and a strange proposition in a basement, Claire is out on her first date with Sawyer, something she didn't think was going to happen.

It doesn't take long for Claire to see that there is more to Sawyer than meets the eye, this delicious biker is very family orientated, and knows how to treat a lady, but he has his secrets, ones that can get himself and Claire into a lot of trouble.

Amazing sex, murder, kidnapping and the dangers that come with being the girlfriend of Sawyer, is it all worth it in the end?

This story is very fast paced, and that is not a bad thing at all, I would love to hear more about these two, see where life takes them.

I bought this one couple of months ago. I open it today and the first thing that comes into my mind is: WTF did I buy a book with the words " college" and " bikers" on the title? It's a recipe for disaster!!!! How many " rolling my eyes" moments can I endure today?

20% into the book. Instant love, OMG no. The heroine is so naive and sweet...Um, maybe not that sweet. She is a virgin, but allows a boy to go down on her and even ass play in their first date (actually her first date ever). Well, at least she is getting some and I am reading something sexy. Win and win for both.

30%. A step by step description of the thoughts and movements of a virgin girl giving her first BJ. Although somehow realistic, as a woman... not really interested.

40-50%. Someone dies. We never heard about him before, but who cares. It's just a convenient excuse so our heroine can lose her virginity on the second "date". I am actually so envious. Zero pain and 2 orgasm. Wow! Well done, guy!!! That you didn't get to come, it's just poetic justice after losing your friend a couple hours before.

55%. U have to love this girl. This second " date" is WOW. If losing her virginity wasn't enough, a couple of hours later decides that the best way to comfort the hero is giving him something he never had before. Anal Sex!!! Yuhuuuu!!! And she manages to come again. Isn't she something else? But, wait...there is even more. She is in love with him! In love! I really need to meet a guy like this, one that is so freaking awesome in bed that in less than 3 conversations I will be in love with him.

60%. So now we add be bad thugs into the mix. It's just hilarious! Third non date. Sex in a public space. This guy really has a way to use sex to forget his problems. Glad that the heroine is aware of it too. Btw, her friends are mentioned again. I had completely forgotten about them since the 1st chapter. I actually can't remember their names. Oh, well...

75%. Great, our heroine it's too stupid to live. I may jump some pages until she gets rescued.

85%. There is someone more stupid than the heroine. The big bad evil! LOL, so hard.

100%. More sex and our happily ever after.Ohhhhhhhh....

Omg, it's sooooo bad. This book is suppose to be a drama but I was LOL throughout most of it. Laughed so hard that actually I am going to give it two stars. Plus, the sex scenes were kind of hot. Yeas, definitely 2 stars. Hardly ever, have i so much fun reviewing a book.

This was a good story in a novella form. Shy & inexperienced Claire meets handsome & supposedly one night stand Sawyer at a frat party when she is running from the tears caused by the guy she's had a crush on since high school. She decides to proposition Sawyer for one night but Sawyer wants a date instead. They end up spending time together & realizing that they like each other & have a lot in common. Sawyer is also a bike racer at illegal races sanctioned by thugs, he's trying to get out but they use his mom & Claire as leverage to keep him in. Going too far they kidnap Claire to force Sawyer to race against the best & to get Claire back he has to win. They don't know that he has an ace up his sleeve. Good story it moved fast as like them to do & she delved into their pasts to show what made them come to be at this point in their lives. Good read I would definitely read something by Sharon Page again.

I totally loved this one - My first taste of a book from Sharon Page and I was totally engrossed the entire time.

Sawyer and Claire are a fantastic couple. While things seemed a bit rushed between the pair of them, I totally loved the dynamics between the pair. Claire is a girl after my own heart - I absolutely adored all the awkward things she did.

Plus there's some good action that gets spun into this one from Sawyer's racing. It kept me on the edge trying to figure out how he was going to get out of it and how things would finish.

I'm excited to read more from Sharon Page, especially after hearing this is part of a series! I can't wait to see which other characters get their own stories!

It felt like there were a lot of details that were left out & there was a lot of skipping around. It made it very difficult to follow the story line. Claire, the main female character, was not very likeable in my opinion. She let one of her friends as well as Sawyer, the main male character, walk all over her & still kept coming back for more. Have some backbone and say "NO".
And how did they fall in love with each other? When did that happen? It was like they slept with each other all the time and then BOOM they were in love? Maybe it was because they were so young and didn't really know what true love is? I don't know but the whole thing was just puzzling.

I was actually surprised at how good this book was. In the beginning, I thought that the stroy was going to go in a completely different directly. SPOILER ALERT! I never anticipated Sawyer and Claire ending up in a relationship. I really thought that she would go after Trey really hard. What I didn't like is that she never confronted her roommate about what she told Sawyer in that club. Those were fightin words in my opinion. It would be great to have a follow up book to see how the relationship goes. HINT, HINT!!! LOL!!!

I liked this book. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it is a novella and I don't really like those. I would rather read a book. All that said I did not feel like anything was missing from this book. I though it flowed well and was well written. I really like the characters and this is one plot line I have not read before. A few twist I did not see coming. Loved the got steamy sex. This is my first book by this author and I will be looking to read more.

This was a good start for the riding desires boxed set. I liked how things moved form the beginning, how almost every prejudice was proved wrong. Also Sawyer was so dream-like it made me all dreamy. Also I like how the books are quite short so you can read one story at a time and then take a break or you can just read the whole box at once. It wasn't my favourite erotic novel but it still was quite good.

Claire takes inexperienced virgin to a whole new level. She is so awkward in a put her out if her misery way not a fun goof way. I am completely dumbfounded that a brainiac would skip a whole week of college classes to have sex with some guy she barely knows. Claire has my head spinning in circles trying to keep up with the naive ramblings. This is one insta-love story that I can’t get on board with, I am just not feeling the connection between Claire and Sawyer.

Claire is a good girl. She decides to hook up with Sawyer so she can learn what to do with the man of her dreams. But what she finds out is that Sawyer is such a sweet guy. The one she thought she wanted, well, he just isn't. But can she help Sawyer get out of the street racing? Will he make it out alive or is the race fixed? Will the two of them make this relationship work?

I was so embarrassed for Clair she was just so..... I am not even sure what. I wanted to stop reading after the first chapter but curiosity got me. I sorta liked the Sawyer character and wanted to know more about him that is what kept me reading. I love MC books and this certainly was not one. Well written I will not read more of this series!

I read this as part of "Captured"- and I have to say this one seemed like the author was just grasping at straws trying to throw every kind of scenario she could into their insta romance. Good Girl/Bad guy- wash rinse repeat. Jumping story line made it confusing. The "good girl" imagery didnt jive with the actions the author had her doing (backdoor play on the first date??)

Book 1/14, by Sharon Page, a 3-3.5. It was great just not out of this world for me. I'll still look into reading more of her works. I just felt there was something off for me while I was reading this. Again it was a great book. Reminds me soooo much like the Fast & Furious movies!

This is the first book in Riding Desire boxed set. It was a nice start to the books. I wasn't blown away by it but the characters were ok. There was just something missing. I didn't hate it but I didn't fall in love with it or the characters either.

I didn't really enjoy this one. For some odd reason I couldn't get into it. I don't know perhaps it was the way it was written. I felt disconnect like I was being told what happened. I don't know it just didn't pull me in at all.

Not much of a 'biker' story like I expected from the Riding Desires anthology but a good story. I honestly would have liked it better if had been a full story.
