Philip’s had a crush on Tony since the day he climbed on that city bus, plopped down beside him, and showed him the dirty pictures he had hidden in his maths book. The magazine pages were all of women, and sixteen years later, that’s still the direction Tony’s tastes run. That doesn’t keep Philip from daydreaming. One night, when groupies are notably absent and the two bandmates find themselves alone in the showers after a show, Philip works up the courage to offer a helping hand. Has he made a huge mistake?
“Coming Clean” features best friends, public showers, and the barely-big-enough-for-two lavatory of a rock band’s private jet. (4,000 words)
This was actually nice. A bit longer or maybe there was more care in portraying the characters. I'd like to read more about them. Philip had had a crush on Tony since they met. And after countless daydreams and fantasies, Philips got his chance at the actual thing. The other pleasant surprise was how well Tony responded and how he planned to reciprocate. Add to it an exciting intimate scene in the bathroom of an airplane. Too bad it ended so quickly.
The story is re-eally short but it doesn't look unfinished. The price is - ouch! - quite high for such a small book, so if you are not sure, you can try Flicker & Lex (or buy Hard Rock collection with Flicker and Lex for the same price) - it's longer and has the similar theme and emotional punch.
