First of all, I am glad to be given closure. Even if I had to wait years to get it lol. While some of what was going on with Toya helps explain his resistance, I felt that there were still so many gaps. We still don't really know the characters, so I'm left unsatisfied with that being it. I suppose better something than nothing.

I will say that I'm glad Toya finally gives into his feelings for Chiyuki. Their relationship is not really developed much after we are shown they are intimate but that moment did showcase a really sweet and tender side to Toya that melted my heart.

Satsuki sort of drops off and that's ok because we know he's not the focus of the story, but when he is still a part of their lives at the end, I want to know more about how he fits. There's also a surprise concerning Yamimaru that isn't really explained. So many questions! Ugh.

Other than my obvious disgruntlement as stated above, I liked the series and art. However, it definitely left some potential on the table.

certainly not as good as ohshc regarding the plot or characters’ personalities or development

The ending was sort of anticlimactic. I kind of wonder what the story would have been like if the manga-ka had written it all in one run instead of spread out over years. I did enjoy it, though.

MY TEENAGE/YOUNG ADULT YEARS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER.

This one was one of the last series that had a super long hiatus that I've waited for so long to finish and now it's over.

crying

I wasn't sure when I finished I was ready to deal with the nostalgia of this series finality especially after waiting so long or that I'm no longer a teen. It almost felt as if I had arrived full circle because I started reading it while visiting my parents and childhood home----IN THE SAME ROOM THAT USE TO BE MINE AND NOW IT'S A DEN.

cantstop

I know, you're wondering what's happening? I'm actually conflicted on the review. I'm happy that it's finished and I was able to revisit with the characters. The storyline wasn't what I imagined (and neither did Hatori as she seemed to wanted to do more than the final version).

What I do love about this title is the intense feelings it provokes from journey at sixteen to ten years later. I feel that I'm going to be like EVERYONE WHO SAW NINJA TURTLES---WHY DID THEY SEE IT? WAS IT ANY GOOD? Yet, the studios were BANKING that people would see it regardless, just for the power of nostalgia.

OH GOD. It reminds me of the quote from The Thirteenth Tale: I have always been a reader; I have read at every stage of my life, and there has never been a time when reading was not my greatest joy. And yet I cannot pretend that the reading I have done in my adult years matches in its impact on my soul the reading I did as a child. I still believe in stories. I still forget myself when I am in the middle of a good book. Yet it is not the same. Books are, for me, it must be said, the most important thing; what I cannot forget is that there was a time when they were at once more banal and more essential than that. When I was a child, books were everything. And so there is in me, always, a nostalgic yearning for the lost pleasure of books. It is not a yearning that one ever expects to be fulfilled.

As always. I am never succinct. Point being is this review is total bias. It's bias on the fact of nostalgia. I think I even still have my first two copies stored underneath my parent's house, waiting for me to settle down and build a library.

thankyou

Chiyuki already confessed her feelings to touya the vampire. They're sleep & cuddle in bed together, looking each other. Touya tell chiyuki how he feel about him. In Touya backstory when he was a kid, his grandpa taught him everything he knows even making pocket watch until touya thought his grandpa die n he left his family. Now, he knows his grandpa is alive all along when his grandpa hidden himself for 8years. Even worst his grandpa lose his memory which is sad that he seem can't remember his grandson. Satsuki & yami-maru really love chiyuki but they're know chiyuki love touya. in the end, chiyuki still alive with touya even satsuki n yami-maru join with them in the end. I hate to see chiyuki cousin who stop chiyuki n away from touya. He's still the cousin who hurt chiyuki, does he not learn at all that he's still being possessive over chiyuki.

A decent ending to the story, but it seams rather rushed. I don't get what the pattern the other vampire moved in even means... Lovely art though and a sweet story. I like the fact that Toya and Chiyuki are both so mature. Poor Satsuki though... I suppose he had a good life with Kaede for as long as he could. I am not sure what Hatori means in her side bar about Kaede's life after she meets the others being sad though... I mean sure she is mortal but still....
Yami's son is so cute :)

I shouldn't have read this. I didn't really care for the other volumes, but there was one more and I couldn't stop even though I should have.

This volume once again felt directionless and lackluster. For the ending to the serious, there was no wow moment. It was all flat. Boring. This was predictable (which isn't always a bad thing). I kept hoping that this serious was going to improve, but it never did.

Ech.

I loved this series! I wish they wouldn't have rushed the ending, but it was a long time coming. The epilogue type part was cute and helped with the swift ending. I really enjoyed these characters and will most likely read more by this author.

I am pleased with the ending but also sad that it is over. I would love to see this series as an anime with more of the story that had been cut.

SANGUE SULLA NEVE n. 4

The ending left me wanting more.

For those who actively anticipated the next two installments to an intriguing story your journey comes to an end.

Was it good: Yes!

Why not five stars?
The ending feels rushed.

Endingnya bagus sih (it's a happy one).

I found this series many years ago back in ye olde Shojo Beat days and was frustrated to learn it was permanently shelved so the author could focus on the more popular Ouran Host Club. Which, okay, yeah, I get, and I was okay with that.....until I saw the Millennium Snow Easter egg in the anime. Then I burned with fiery rage and forever refused to read the Ouran manga!!

Then a week ago, I decided to bury the hatchet and be the bigger person (it had NOTHING to do with needing a pallet cleanser after watching Goblin Slayer, I swear). And as I was reading, I decided to check and see if maybe, just maybe, the series had been revisited in the 10+ years since I last checked. Oh man, I was so excited when I saw it had been finished! My husband warned me I was overhyping it and it could only disappoint me at this time.

So, did I overhype it too much? Was it a disappointment?

NOPE!!! I LOVED IT!!!!! *squeeeeeeeeeee* XD

Chiyuki’s little evil side was absolutely precious and how she kept saying “OMG isn’t this cute when Touya does this?” and everyone around her was all “uhhhhh, no, not in the slightest, WTF is wrong with you”.

I will say there were times when it felt like the author forgot about Satsuki entirely—pretty sure he was absent for half if not all of an entire volume—and I thought the introduction of Kaede was going to be more significant then it ended up being. I’m assuming the author originally planned for a longer series akin to Ouran, but because they’d been gone from this story for so long, probably just couldn’t get fully back into their original vision. So parts of the story do feel a little rushed and/or half-finished.

All that being said and setting my obvious fan-girl bias aside, this is a short read with good characters and a nice blend between drama, comedy, and romance. The ending is... forgivable, is the best way to put it without spoiling anything.

Anyway, back to my pallet cleanser....

Tutti cadiamo in tentazione.

The ending though really lovely, felt really rushed and unsatisfying. I understand adding more added history to the leading guy to understand why he acts the way he does but it just felt like it was just helping it continue the story along without a point. However, this whole volume as far as romantic lines and the angst really tugged at my heartstrings as well as the artstyle truly is gorgeous. This series is definitely one if you want a semi quick read with an emotional rollercoaster however in my opinion the first and last volumes were better than volumes 2 and 3. Because of these points I rate this volume a 4 out of 5 stars.

While this last volume was a good read it seemed rushed throughout but especially in the last chapter. I understand this is a short series, but there are a few unanswered questions. Also, there were likable side or minor characters that could’ve been explained more. I would’ve enjoyed a bonus chapter or 2 to add as like an epilogue or just future sketches/bits of info, similar to what was shown at the end of the OHSHC manga. I am glad that this manga series ended on a sweet note since I got a bit worried for a quick moment.

I would say this is more like a 3.5 for me, but I'm glad that I've finally read this series. It was definitely interesting for me to see what the mangaka had to say in the sidebars in regards to her thoughts on the characters and the struggles with continuing the series after a 10 year break. It does make you wonder if the story would've gone the same way if it was written continuously instead of with the long break in between. Overall, I did still enjoy this series and am looking forward to reading more of this mangaka's work in the future.

1.5!

i kinda wanted her to 😵 for yknow, drama 😗 but oh well. besides that, this volume and the ending in general were eehhHH. with the entire actually-not-dead grandpa business and the whole ordeal w/johann, i just found it.,,,,bland. and then like, the ML disappeared and then appeared at the very end and then boom! happy ending. also like im not sure what to make of the timeskip either. (the art styles nice but i kinda miss the funky one lol)

Toya and Chiyuki <3 This was a good finish to the manga. I wish we had had more time with the characters to really expand on the story - there was so much more that could have been done throughout all 4 volumes and it felt rushed and half baked in many places. Maybe if we get an anime someday, that can be fixed? <3

Chiyuki confessed her feelings to Toya and awaits a reply. Toya finds out his grandfather is still alive, but he has dementia and doesn't remember the past. Toya thought for 8 years that his grandfather rejected him, but he just had dementia or so it seems. Chiyuki finally gets an answer from Toya and the answer is yes, at first. In the end, Chiyuki and Toya are together and all ends well.

I seriously wasn't expecting it to be this short! I mean, it is my first time reading such a short manga overall in published form. The story had so much unexplored potential and it finished not being able to truly answer all the questions that would arise as you would read the book.

Again this series seemed so rushed, this final book was no exception. I wanted the last half of this book to be one volume instead of half. The author even stated that a ton was cut, and I feel that didn’t help the book. However, even though I wanted so much more, I enjoyed what there was!
