I’m glad I didn’t give up on this one. Just wish there was more sex!
Nova (human) wants to get laid before she’s forced to marry a stranger. She finds a hottie at the bar and they go back to his hotel room. Lux (werewolf) bangs the heck out of Nova, but he’s only looking for a one nighter and doesn’t want to see her again. Unfortunately, he’s being blackmailed into marrying her because she’s pregnant. Yada yada, bada bing, bada boom –HEA.
Mainly I wish there was more sex. Their first time together was sooooo hot. Then they don’t have sex again until the very end. I was bummed about that. Also, he’s a full werewolf, not a shifter. I wasn’t digging it at first but it didn’t take long before I was 100% into it. My question is if werewolves have snouts, how is he kissing her? I can’t make sense of it in my brain. Oh well.
I mean it is what it is....you get a sexy scenario, it delivers. Then you read the story and wishing for more sexy scenes so you don't have to deal with the characters actually interacting together.
MMC is a liar and a user...who keeps proclaiming how much he hates liars and users. He is able to sense FMC's feelings and intentions...but refuses to acknowledge or communicate for weeks because he assumes the worst of her and their situation.
When she FINALLY stands up for herself (really, good for her! but unfortunately her one sign of strength), she succumbs when he starts sexually gratifying her...while they are having an argument. Besides the fact that there is no way that is realistically possible (if it is done right! LOL) but super manipulative when he was huffing about HER being manipulative! Plus, it always pisses me off when FMC has no other interests
So in conclusion, read the first chapter and leave this book as the fun one-night stand it was intended to be.
This was listed as erotica. It is definitely not. Erotica focuses on the art of sexual depiction. For a book that claims to be erotica, there was actually not a lot of sex. Instead, we have a paranormal contemporary romance novella. I didn't say that's a bad thing. It was actually a nice little read, but you have to understand what you are getting into when you pick it up. There is going to much more story than what you are expecting. We're talking about a one-night stand turned arranged romance turned betrayal with some of the kinks listed previously. So, if you are looking for a nice, light monster romance with a lot of contemporary tropes and some fun kinks, this is actually a great book to pick up. But don't go looking for erotica. It is not here.
I was really enjoying this story until the character said they hate liars and would never lie to their partner only to say they lied about something else on the other side of the page. This definitely needed a bit more editing and refining but again it’s under 100 pages and it’s a spicy little story with a whole lot of drama.

If you’re here for the breeding kink and keep your expectations low you’ll enjoy it. For me, the author tried to do too much with a hundred pages. It’s fairly trope heavy and reads like it was built around them which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it does make it predictable. There are other, better novellas.
Empezó sexy , continuó con el anhelo del recuerdo, todo cambio con la presentación del villano y la necesidad de justificar desdén contra la chica que debió ser una sola noche … si ahí comienza la trama interesante peroooooo …

Nova just wants one night of freedom before her abusive father married her off. Werewolf Liz isn’t looking for anything more than a one night stand but there something about the sweet smelling human
