I read the previous book in this series. Miss Layne intrigue me so I decide to pick up The Billionaire's Promise. Unfortunately, this book does not leave me any good impression. It left with luke warm story. Some part I found it is boring. The plot is forced especially about the stalker. I also want to see Magnolia be more mature woman.

I try to find something that make the story pops. But at then, nothing click with me aside from that luke warm feeling.

I love Magnolia (fmc) she is such a hardworking sweetheart. I love her for being what Vance (mmc) needs in this storyline. I like how the storyline lines up with what happened with the previous book. The wild card of a situation in the story it was crazy, but predictable at the same time, if you read the end of The Billionaire's Pet you would know about the big news to lead to this story of Magnolia and Vance. The switch of him being not able to tell his feelings is kinda of mind boggling me still, but this read was cute. I read this on Kindle Unlimited btw. I am ready for Charlie's (baby sister) of Winters family and Lucas (the smexxyy neighbor) in the next book

I'm a picky reader but here? I just loved everything.
This book was no doubt the best one in the series so far. It's more sweet and cute than hot and steamy but I actually loooved it. We do have some sexy times but I was really glad they are not the focus of the story here.

And Magnolia with Vance together?



Honestly, there wasn't even one bit that I didn't like in here. We don't have any immature bs, we have two, quite messed-up people (Vance more than Maggie), who are attracted to each other and their way to finally be together with all the obstacles they have to overcome. The characters have depth, they have layers, emotional maturity and I loved that.

I love The Billionaire's Promise. It's even better than The Billionaire's Pet, which is the book before this one in the series. Vance Winters is an alcoholic, manwhore of an artist who hires Magnolia (Maggie) as his assistant to keep his life in order. She becomes much more than that: his business manager, his best friend and eventually his lover. But, first, her worthless, cheating douchebag of a fiancé has to go. Go, he does when he dumps her after telling her she's not wife material. Then, Rosalie is dumped in Vance's lap. She's his previously unknown baby daughter, and Vance and Maggie are understandably surprised.

But, Vance is happy to take her, and is amazing with her. He and Rosalie move into Maggie's huge family home left to her by her beloved grandma, and Vance makes his move. Only now, two years later, has he realized that he wants more than just friendship and a business manager from Maggie. Things are going swimmingly until Maggie realizes she's just been settling for affection from Vance, when what she wants is the same kind of love she feels for Vance, to be the center of someone's world. So, unless Vance can tell Maggie exactly how he feels about her, then she wants him gone, even if he takes the baby she's grown to love with him.

The Billionaire's Promise is sweet, sexy and a tad emotional. Vance and Maggie, and baby Rosalie, are such a great couple, all backed by their strong friendship and Vance's amazing family of brothers and cousins. Now I'm anxiously awaiting The Rebel Billionaire, which is Charlie's (Charlotte) story.

The Billionaire's Promise is Vance and Magnolia's story and I am so glad it is finally out! Magnolia/Maggie is Vance’s PA- there to keep his life organized- to really keep him in line and make sure his hung over self gets up in the morning and kicks out the undesireables in the mornings –that’s her tasks. Yet underneath that is the hidden desire that she has for her boss. Maggie deals with his behavior and endless women around the house which he parades around for two years while Maggie has her whiny and shifty finance to deal with. Everything comes to a head at once when Vance hits rock bottom and Maggie’s fiancé dumps her.
I loved watching Vance struggle to come back from rock bottom , especially after getting some shocking news which makes him want to change for the better. Maggie is there for Vance and the sexual tension between them is intense and off the chain. I loved watching them reach for one another and build on the twists and turns that rocked their lives and the change that occurred. I also loved seeing previous characters make a return appearance - Sinclairs and Dylan Kane. This was such a great book and worth the wait. I cannot wait for Charlie’s book next then Aiden’s story.

Oh how I loved this one! No major drama but enough to keep you reading and interested. Still no clues about the pictures but the Winters family seems to be getting closer! I loved Vance although he was a total man whore at the beginning and I really didn't think I would like him much. Poor Magnolia just wanted to feel like she had a family. Little Rosalie was too cute and reading them struggling with a baby kind of had me cracking up. Sweet and great read!

Really enjoyed Vance and Magnolia's story. Rosie was an added delight. A reformed alcoholic man-whore who suddenly finds himself sole parent - what can go wrong. I am surprised that Vance didn't admit his feeling for Magnolia sooner than he did. Glad that she finally realised what a loser Brayden was. There are lots of emotions in this book, I admit to shedding a few tears, but it has a happy ending. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Finally! No damsel in distress but a good true life story...right now Vance is my favorite of all the winters...this was refreshing with real life issues and real life experiences...and especially no degrading or belittling of women...one of my faves and worth recommending

Vance & Magnolia. This was probably the most entertained I've been in a while. Its a romance novel and real life situations that had me dying laughing. I loved their chemistry and enjoyed the other support characters in the story (villain or friend).

Cliff's Notes:
- He's a man-whore drunk artist (metal sculptures)
- She's engaged to her BF of 4 years (2 yrs engaged). They live together and she's pretty much supporting his ass (her grandmother died leaving her an inheritance that she can comfortably live on)
- She interviews for a business manager (aka his handler) position. Her job duties are not all traditional (she has to make him breakfast, wake him up in the morning and get his skank of the night out of his place and on their way home).
- She finds his flavor of the month overdosed on the bathroom floor and he's so wasted drunk he can't even wake up to help out
- Flavor is taken to the hospital, survives and goes into rehab
- Vance decides to go into rehab as well and is gone 3 mo but is now all clean
- Vance & Flavor try rekindling their thing post-rehab but realize they have nothing in common and part ways amicably.
- Magnolia's douchebag finishes his school residency and he tells her he's been cheating on her and dumps her for the other woman
- Vance has wanted Magnolia since the first day he met her (interviews her right out of the shower dressed only in a towel). He sees his chance now that her engagement is off and plans to make his move after giving her some time to wallow about her douchebag and their failed relationship.
- Flavor's sister shows up and tells Vance that Flavor relapsed and overdosed. She leaves him with his baby that he didn't know existed (their hookup after rehab had consequences) and a diaper bag then leaves with a good luck to ya.
- Vance asks Magnolia to help him (because he can barely manage himself let alone a 3 month old baby) with Rosie (FYI paternity test...He is the father!)
- Entertainment in a romance novel of the real life shit that happens when a couple (even though they aren't together technically) is just figuring out how to take care of a baby. Diapers, formula, burping/spit up, blowouts, crying, feeding every 3 hours. Usually when there is a baby in a romance novel the author kind of skims over the real life stuff but this one did not. Having experienced being a new parent, I could totally relate to everything that happened.
- They finally give in to their romantic feelings they've both had over the years and sleep together (many times).
- They've been "playing house" for a while and she becomes confused about their relationship. She doesn't want her heart broken.
- She tells him she loves him and he's speechless. When she asks if he loves her, he freezes. She kicks him and Rosie out because she couldn't continue on with how they were living. She wants love, husband, kids, etc. and she deserves someone that feels about her the same way she feels about him. I legit teared up at this part.
- He goes to his cousin Aiden, Charlie/Charlotte (his other cousin) comes in and starts chewing his ass about upsetting Magnolia (her bestie)
- He realizes that he screwed up royally and plans to win her back
- With the help of some peeps, he organizes a super romantic proposal and doesn't screw things up this time. She says yes
- Her ex-douche shows up. He was caught in her house stealing stuff and the cops were called and he was going to go to jail. He begs her to drop the charges because it will ruin his life. I guess that speech he gave her previously about how he easily used her and cheated on her left her harboring some feelings. The best part...he was stealing stuff to pawn off because he wanted to buy an engagement ring for his new skeeze (she didn't accept his BS about not getting a ring until he saved up enough).
- HEA!

The 5th star is for the real life things in the book that new parents experience. Spit up in your hair, not being able to do work for an extended period of time, troubleshooting why the baby is crying, all the "stuff" you have to buy, etc. just to name a few.

Magnolia/Maggie graduated from Emory six months ago with a business degree in Finance and Accounting. Her beloved grandmother, Iris Henry, died recently and left Maggie with a nice inheritance including a large house in Atlanta. Maggie’s fiancé, Brayden, is finishing up on his medical degree and has been living off Maggie. Maggie goes to Vance Winters home who is heir to billions and a renowned artist at the the age of twenty-eight as well as an investor in up and coming tech companies to interview for a job. She really doesn’t know what to do with herself and figure she can work for Vance until she decides what she wants to do. Her job description for Vance is unconventional along with some responsibilities that go along with her degree. Vance is a handsome man, but a womanizer. He usually has a different woman in his bed every morning when Maggie gets to his house. It is her job to make sure that the women leave. Vance can’t stand Maggie’s fiancé, and puts him down at every opportunity he can. Unfortunately Vance’s parents were murdered when he was about eight years old. Vance is the one that found his parents. He and his brothers went to live with his aunt and uncle and they were also murdered. Vance and his siblings and cousins are messed up emotionally in their own ways. Vance acts his out with drinking and drugs. That is a whole another story you will have to read.

Maggie’s fiance is a jerk who screws her over in many ways. Luckily Maggie and Vance had become good friends in the last two years. She has been there for Vance when he went through some tough times. Vance is their for Maggie. Then Vance finds out he has a daughter and the mother overdosed. He is a good guy and steps up to take care of his daughter with Maggie’s help. I felt so bad for Vance and what had happened to him and relatives. I could understand in a way how Vance handled his emotions. I was glad to see he also knew how to get help. Maggie was a great woman, but didn’t have a lot of self confidence when it came to her looks or someone loving her. I loved the whole Winters family that we got to meet in the book. I can’t wait to read the next book as I loved this book. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Vance has a traumatic past which he deals with by overindulging in alcohol and women. He is a billionaire as well as an accomplished sculptor and when he needs a personal assistant he hires Maggie.

Maggie did not have an easy childhood and the one person who loved her has passed away. Feeling at lose ends she accepts the job from Vance not realizing that one of her responsibilities would be getting rid of the women he brought home the night before. She quickly rebuffed him when he suggested they extend their relationship to a personal level as she was engaged to another man.

Both Vance and Maggie are on their way back after hitting bottom for very different reasons and Vance is on a mission to show her that they belong together but what happens when a baby shows up at his door?

I loved the transformation that Vance made in his life and how he showed Maggie that he could be trusted and she was worthy of being loved. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from the author.

I enjoyed, but just couldn't help but be bothered by his man-whoring. I know they weren't together, and she was engaged, but it was still a bit much. Especially after he got sober and was planning on getting rid of her ex anyways, but still slept with other people- even if he had toned it down.

The Billionaire's Pet, by Ivy Layne is a 332-page contemporary romance novel and is the fourth book out of a 10-part series (other reviews can be found below). And since this is a 10-part series, you can expect reviews by this author pretty back to back for the next few weeks as I go through the books. It is written from a first-person POV, two-sided, though it was very imbalanced. It is a thirty chapter book and only a third of the book was in the hero's POV.

Ivy Layne is an author who generally writes dirty, dirty sex scenes. So if you're someone who is looking for some dirty read (which there is nothing wrong with that) this is the book for you. I will warn you ahead of time if you are reading this series, this book in particular had A LOT of sex...almost too much for my liking.

Spoilers Ahead ***

Rosalie grew up in wealth, but she never knew real family. Her parents dropped her off at boarding school and pretty much pretended like she didn't exist. The only person she was close to was her grandmother and when her grandmother passed she felt lost and alone. She ended up hooking up with Brayden, who is a total douche-canoe. He basically used her for free room and board then cheated on her to advance his career. Rosalie, though having and coming from money started working for Vance two years prior as his business manager. When they met there were sparks, but she was involved with Brayden and she's not a cheater.


Vance wanted Rosalie the moment he met her but respected that she was with someone, even though he thought Brayden was a tool and didn't deserve her. When they met Vance was a hot mess. You'll learn as you read further into the Winters Saga these kids all handled the death of their parents very differently and Vance's way to handle it was to drink and party. He turns his life around when one of his regular friend's with benefits almost overdoses in his bathroom. He goes to rehab and manages to stay clean for a year when one of his ex's sister drops off a child she claims is his. He sees this as an opportunity to get Rosalie by asking her to help with his daughter.


Overall, the characters were likeable, and it's easy to cheer for upcoming characters.


Generally, here are my thoughts:
1. I actually really hate secret baby tropes, but I can see how it was a useful tool here
2. I appreciate the character arcs. I'm glad Rosalie got a backbone at the end and stuck it to her ex
3. I'm not a huge fan of flash backs, but I think the author did a good job limiting it to just the beginning of the book to introduce the characters. I can understand why she did this as these Rosalie and Vance worked together for two years before they were able to get together
4. I found all the baby raising part annoying. And before you blast me for it, I have a baby (she was born this year) so I have no interest in reading about two people, who apparently don't understand the basic aspects of raising a kid attempt to raise a kid. They obviously get better as the book progresses, but wow...just didn't want the details of how the kid was crying all the time and they didn't know what to do...that's kind of a baby's thing so I skimmed A LOT of that
5. The POVs this time around were much more balanced
6. All books I've read by this author were smooth and had great pacing, this book is no different, though there was A LOT of sex
7. This can definitely be read as a standalone, the reason I would suggest reading all of them is because there is an underlying story concerning the death's of the Winters kids parents.
8. All of the Winters book ends with en engagement or marriage, so definitely a heavy HEA (Happily Ever After)
9. The book does a good job setting up the next book in the series.

In summary, I give this a 3 out of 5.

For some reason these books keep getting lower reviews and I don’t understand why. I’ve actually really enjoyed this one. Sure it’s not one of Vance’s finer moments but it explains how far he’s come from rock bottom and his journey to falling for Magnolia. I liked Vance upon first meeting him in Jacob’s story. He didn’t have a heaviness to him, nor did he seem to have any resentment to love or life. He seemed to have his life together and no regrets except what happened when he was younger that seemed to change his outlook on life. The book showcases his struggles when he first hires Magnolia and all the stuff she has to put up with him and in this timeframe, you wouldn’t think Vance was ever like this because of how he is currently. I liked that about this book, it shows Vance at a low point in his life and issues he faces. It shows that through it all, Magnolia was there. Sometimes, for those who struggle in life, they just need that one person to ground them and set them right. She was that for him, so it’s no wonder he ends up falling in love with her. Too bad she doesn’t see it and is stubborn about it the whole time. This is what I didn’t like about her. Her constant need to set boundaries with him and not admit feelings. One minute they would be touching and kissing, the next she would push away from him and say no. He respected it but didn’t understand it because he knew she had feelings for him. There was a constant back and forth between them and it got annoying after a while. The book itself gets a 5 from me because of the plot, characters and the situations Vance and Magnolia find themselves into. Then there’s the mysterious edge to the series that has the whole Winters Family on alert that I’ve been drawn into. Things keep happening to individual members of the family and no one knows who’s doing it and what the intentions are. It really plays into the whole scandal and saga titles for each book. Regardless, each person has their own journey with themselves since the scandal with the family happened and all of them have their own demons they’ve been dealing with. In Vance, his particular journey is inspiring, considering what he went through and how he dealt with it. While I can’t believe Magnolia had to worry about him in an unconventional way, she was also grounding him and continued to do so throughout the book, even though she likes to pretend she doesn’t have feelings for him. I liked reading about how far Vance came and how not only he was portrayed, but how he was as a person. He didn’t seem closed off or against love like the others, just going with the flow. This book captures exactly how he became that way and I enjoyed reading about it. That alone was enough to get a 5 rating from me. I think with Charlie’s story, her love interest has been present with the Winters Family and played a huge part in the plot twist of Jacob’s book. I have a feeling it’s the same guy, or maybe I’m just hoping it is which will be an interesting plot twist.

I absolutely loved Billionaire’s Promise (Scandals of the Bad Boy Billionaire’s, book 4). I feel like I was let in on a big secret because I have never read any of Ivy Layne’s books…never even came up on my recommendations. I am so happy to have found Ivy Layne. She writes the kind of books that I love; romance, a little suspense, a little drama, a crazy ex, and whole lot of naughty. Of course, before I read Billionaire’s Promise as it is book 4 in the “Scandals of the Bad Boy Billionaire’s series”, I just had to read books 1 through 3 in the series. I am so, so glad I did because this series rocks! Billionaire’s Promise is the story of Vance and Magnolia. Vance is an extremely hot, alpha male, a sculptor, who is also a playboy. Because of events in his past, he is an alcoholic (becomes a recovering alcoholic) in an attempt to get rid of demons that haunt him, who hires Magnolia to be his personal assistant. Magnolia (AKA Maggie) is a beautiful woman who has a cheating, crazy ex, and because of events in her past, has abandonment issues, trust issues, and very low self-esteem. She accepts a job with Vance as a personal assistant. Now, personal assistant in this case should be used loosely…more like babysitter because she is constantly getting rid of the women he sleeps with the next morning, has to handle the side effects he suffers from his alcoholism, along with handling his business affairs. They become very good friends, and Magnolia finds herself secretly falling for Vance. That is all I am going to say because the rest of the book has a mystery that needs to be solved, and a surprise arrival, and I do not want to ruin it for anyone. I love the silent, slow building love and sexual tension these characters have for one another. Billionaire’s Promise is a beautifully told story of love and overcoming issues/demons these two characters have. It is romantic with a little humor, suspenseful, and so very HOT. This book will grab hold of you from page one and not release you until the very last page. Billionaire’s Promise can be read as a standalone, but I would not recommend it as there are characters from the other books in the series that interconnect with each book. I have quickly become a fan of Ivy Layne. This book is a must read! I know you will enjoy it as much as I did. Cannot wait to see what Ivy Layne has for us next.

I hadn't read any of the others but I have checked out the next book from KU.

Magnolia "Maggie" Henry comes from money but that doesn't mean she doesn't have to work. Her grandmother left her enough to cover the cost of the family mansion and that's about it. And she's not going to sell the family mansion. So she finds a job working for Vance Winters, metal sculptor and financial guru as his personal assistant. The book opens with glimpses of Magnolia working over the course of a couple of years -- waking Vance and whatever woman was in his bed up, dealing with his addictions, and a couple of other vignettes. All the time, she knows that he's extremely hot- even acknowledging it while she was engaged. When her fiance dumps her, it doesn't mean all bets are off, but there is one roadblock out there.
Vance Winters has always been attracted to Magnolia but he's respected her boundaries. When his three-month-old daughter unexpectedly shows up, he is at sea but he knows that Magnolia is the only chance he has to make it through.
Overall a nice story - good character growth and a really good look at how the characters build their relationship. However, the ending was a little bit... well, dramatic. And I wish we had seen more of Magnolia fueling her own growth rather than it seeming like Vance is pushing it.

It's hard notvto like these books. The characters are versatile and interesting with the males being intelligent, sexy, and successful and their women loving, smart and beautiful. Overcoming horrendous events in their lives the Winters family and by extension the Sinclairs are now finding their life partners. There is an element of intrigue and mystery with someone digging up the past and throwing itvin their faces.

Vance finally got sober after spiraling out of control for years. Sex and booze ruled his life. Magnolia became his business manager and valued partner. He wanted there from day one but new with his drinking problem she would never have anything to do with him add to that a long time boyfriend/ fiance and she was off limits. Suddenly the fiance is gone and Vance is sober and plans his move. However, he suddenly is presented with a baby girl that is his. He enlists Magnolia in becoming his 24/7 partner in learning how to raise a 3 1/2 month old baby. There are those who set out to sabotage the relationship and Magnolia lets her insecurities take over. It's now up to Vance to let her know how he really feels so they can become the family that he knows they both want.

Another Enjoyable Tale

Vance Winters, alcoholic sculptor and Magnolia Henry, his assistant, were best friends in addition to co-workers. When Maggie dragged Vance from bed every morning, she often also had to remove his flavor of the night from his home. Maggie had her worthless boyfriend/fiance, Brayden, to keep her from seriously contemplating anything begin a friendship with Vance. Then Rosie came into their lives.

Both Magnolia and Vance struggled with their own serious issues. Maggie's parents virtually abandoned her at 8, when they sent her away to an English boarding school. Her paternal grandmother was the only person who ever gave her the unconditional love and sense of family she desperately desired, and she had died. Vance drank excessively to wash away memories of the murder of both his parents at age 8 and of the aunt and uncle who took their place less than 10 years later.

This is another in the well written and developed Winters family saga, that balances all the necessary elements to make an enjoyable story. Once again, Ms. Layne has penned a winner.

Ok, I like this series but this guy needed to do some major grovelling.
Strike one is that at the beginning of the book, the H is an artist who hires the h to work for him managing her shows and life. He's an alcoholic who sleeps with different women all the time. One partner, Amy,is an addict and is around more than the parade of one nighters only because she's no more looking for a relationship than he is.
Eventually, he gets sober. Fast forward one year or so later and Amy's sister shows up with a baby she says is his. Turns out Amy got sober and they tried to make a go of a relationship but amicably went their separate ways. She eventually relapsed and OD's leaving the baby girl with the H. he readily wants his daughter and begs the h to help him with her.
Now the h was engaged to a loser who never got her a ring, set a date and let her support him through law school then he cheats and dumps her.
Anyway, there was too much miscommunication then the H is a bonehead not understanding he needs to the h know he loves her for her and not just as a nanny to his kid.
Regardless, there are some good feels and it's not a wall banger but maybe not a re-read for me.

DNF. Sooooo boring! He has feelings for her, doesn’t say it, she has feelings for him, doesn’t say it!

There’s actually no plot to this one. Magnolia goes to work for Vance who is an investor in start up companies and an artist. Bit of a bizarre mix, but hey ho. Vance is a man whore who parties all night, sleeps with random women then expects Magnolia to get rid of them. Magnolia who has a business degree, has to make Vance a coffee and protein shake, then wake him and his sex buddy up, kick her out the flat then get to work. 😱 Erm…..

Vance starts to fall in love with Magnolia, but she’s taken. After she’s single he still doesn’t say anything and plots how to get her. WHY DOESN’T HE JUST TELL HER HOW HE FEELS???

Then there’s Magnolia who is so terrified of being in her own, that she puts up with her waste of space boyfriend. Then she won’t tell Vance that she has feelings for him! It goes on and on with an occasional snog and a bit of foreplay then she runs off, and won’t talk about it.

So they’re both basically acting like kids, then Vance is all of a sudden a daddy and the poor baby has them two looking after her!

Nope!

The Billionaire’s Promise by Ivy Layne is a 5 star read.
Troubled by his past, Vance Winters is a hard drinking party boy, but when he needs someone to handle his life for him he hires Magnolia, when his latest girl od’s in his bathroom Vance knows it’s time to stop drinking, with his family and Magnolia behind him he manages to stay off the booze but when he has to reassess his priorities quickly he must learn not take anyone for granted.
Magnolia Henry, Maggie to her friends, has just lost her grandmother, the only family she had left who cares about her, so to keep herself busy she interviews for a job with Vance Winters, her job description includes kicking out the women he spent the night with and also managing the rest of his life. All Maggie dreams of is a family of her own, when she finds out her fiancé is a lying cheat she is heartbroken but her dreams might actually be closer than she thinks.
I loved this story, I was pulled in from the very first page.

I loved this book! This is Vance Winters’ story. He’s in desperate need of a business manager to help him keep his business investments, his Art Shows & everyday life on track. Vance is an alcoholic, partying playboy, so the job won’t be an easy one. Magnolia comes in and decides to give it a try. She is best friends with Vance’s cousin, Charlotte, and also has the biggest jerk of a “fiancé.” She feels an instant attraction to Vance, but focuses closely on her job & her relationship in order to not get too close to him. Vance has a string of women who are usually still left in his apartment/loft in the morning when Magnolia shows up for work. She’s also given the task of getting Vance out of bed everyday & the women out the door.
Their story is so great because there’s so many emotions going on, and then the best part of the book happens! Rosalie comes into their lives & totally turns both their worlds upside down! I don’t want to say much more, except READ IT! It’s well-worth it!!! Such a great read!!!

Enduring Love

Still faithfully reading Ivy Layne's Winters Saga novels, and I admit to having an obsession with this family. The stories keep getting better as the installments progress, with each new set of lovers being encouraged by the family. In Book 4, we meet Vance Winters, artist and serial "dater" who hires Magnolia Henry as his office manager a few years before the story truly begins. Maggie has been in a relationship of sorts for four years, while Vance made his way through a different woman practically every night. Both of them feel something for the other, they're just to stubborn to acknowledge or admit it. Things change pretty quickly when a surprise is thrust into Vance's life, and he finds himself relying on Maggie for help.
The Billionaire's Promise was an entertaining and enjoyable read! I loved Vance, irregardless of his playboy ways, and Maggie was a good counterpart. I also liked revisiting characters from the previous books, and catching up on their lives.

I am absolutely loving reading about the Winter men! Each character is well developed and the female characters actually contribute to the story. They are all professional women who have a say and a career. It is very refreshing. In the Billionaire's Promise we read about the story of Vance and Magnolia and their navigation through lust, friendship and love... and a very small curve ball. I don't like giving the plot away but I would completely recommend the book and the series. There is the underlying plot of how the parents of the Winter family came to die and I can't wait to find how how it happened in a book to come. There are still a few cousins to go through and the next book is even more special as it will have a female Winters as the main character. Well done Ivy. This keeps getting better and better. I did receive an advance copy of the book in return for an honest review. Read it and you'll see I can't but leave a positive one.

Vance Winters was the hot guy with major issues. Issues that carried a lot of baggage and pain that pulled him in directions that were no not healthy for him or to produce a healthy relationship. But somehow he was able to form a very healthy relationship with the right woman. Its just that perfect relationship was friends only.

Magnolia was hurt, sad and wanting so much to have that connection with someone or someones. She was so in to the fact of love and family that she mad at the wrong person, loved the wrong person, and held on for too long. Maggie was strong, independent, and wanting to love and be loved. Her beginning may have influenced some of her decisions.

I did enjoy CJ and Beckett in this one. I still had moments where female sounded like a male but the narration was smooth and pleasant. No major plus or minus to the story.

This is the next book in Ivy Laine’s Billionaire series, and this one is a real doozy! Magnolia is reeling over her grandmother’s death. She has a doctor boyfriend who sponges off of her, so she decides to apply for a job as an assistant to a billionaire party boy artist who just happens to be great with investments. Though she ends up having to deal with his drinking and having to drag his women du jour out of bed every morning.
A near-tragedy shakes things up for them, and then Maggie has to deal with the fallout. But Vance sees her more than just his assistant, and when her relationship with the doctor changes, he plans on letting her know it, but the shake up changes everything.
I really enjoyed this, and I wasn’t sure I was going to when the baby entered the picture, but Ivy did a terrific job with this!

Billionaires Promise

I have loved reading the Winters Saga so far. This one was really good as although you know the parents and aunt and Uncle were murdered you don't know what actually happened but this book is starting to give you a better insight to things that no one knows. This means as you get into the books you want to keep going. I love how the author has the series as Saga but each book is different a as. it's about each Winter's love life and how they've coped over the years with the death of their parents and how they are so close that they feel that they are all brothers and sisters instead of cousins. I loved how Marigold dealt with her ex fiance after he cheated and used her to get through University. Well done and good for her. Looking forward to next book now. Will let you know how I get on.
