Though there are moments, this manga has been mostly downhill after the duel in volume 2.

So, I at least guessed correctly that this wasn't a volume I had read before (my recordkeeping has gotten way out of whack as of lately), though I didn't recognise the start of this volume as continuing from the end of the prior book. I suppose I should chalk that up more to just bad memory than the prior volume being completely forgettable, but at least I could still follow approximately what was happening without having to reread anything.

I also forgot that I thought maybe I should stop reading, since the prior volume committed the grave sin of having the large-breasted characters become fascinated with their own large breasts, like boobies are some fantastical thing NO ONE IN HISTORY HAS EVER SEEN BEFORE. There's thankfully none of that in this volume; instead, it's mostly politics about war and the pretense of keeping Leon locked up and oh, Marie confessed to not actually being the Saint, since she didn't know jack about the world this otome game and couldn't keep up the farce. It's really a three-star volume (other than it actually feels more like the series than the prior volume did) EXCEPT that . (Naturally, their reactions are... very different, haha.)

I don't know. I can't say if it's worth sticking around to see the series finish, or if it is but only in anime form. It depends, as usual, on how I feel when I physically find the next book in the story (or if I ever do).
