Amy Carter needs to act fast when she finds out her husband is having an affair, and he’s about to inherit half of her parent's $2 million dollar beachside Inn. At 54 years old with a seemingly perfect life in the Georgia suburbs, Amy hasn’t left her comfort zone in decades.

Now 2 weeks before her daughter's wedding at the Inn, Amy’s dealt with a pair of life changing decisions. Not knowing what to do, she leans on her best friend for advice and support.

Amidst the salty breeze and wedding preparations, Amy’s decision can change everything. Is 30 years of marriage, social pressure, and the fear of being alone enough to stay together, or will Amy take a chance on herself? Something she hasn’t done since being a child.

Either way, she needs to make a decision before the wedding.

Step into the small beach town of Amelia Island, where friendship, tough decisions, love, and drama are plentiful. This small-town women’s fiction series is perfect for readers who like happy endings and a little bit of mystery.

How much more can Amy take? Mark goes missing the evening of the rehearsal dinner and Nathan stands in to walk Lily down the aisle. Mark finally shows up and is furious. Amy decides to confront Nathan about working for Mark and falls asleep in his room. Mark shows up yelling and calling her names, but Nathan defends her to the end. He also quits and refuses to share any information that would help Mark. Finally, Amy can see the light at the end of her marriage. But of course, Mark has another evil trick up his sleeve. I can't wait to see what happens next. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my honest review.

This is the 5th installment of Amelia Island. I have to say that I have devoured each book in a little over an hour. I have never been on such a roller coaster ride of emotions! They are all there love, hate, sorrow, joy, greed, determination, finding your voice, evil. Yeah, so I believe this is a fantastic book that you should read. Enjoy!

I guess that a reader killing off a character isn’t allowed. In Mark’s case, it should be. Every time he disappears that hope springs up, but no, he keeps returning to ruin things. This time he may have outdone himself. I’m cheering for Amy and Nathan, but Lily is a little too spoiled and entitled for her to have my total support. I’m ready and eager for Book 6.

This book is exciting. Amy learns a few things about what Mark is doing. But other than that she stood up for herself. I like this book the best so far. Too exciting to put down. This is a must read series. Bring on the next one

Wow what a story. Amy is a good mother of the bride. Her soon to be ex husband is a monster. I was shocked at the end of this segment. It’s hard to believe that someone could be so nasty. I’m anxious to read the final installment to see mark get what is coming to him.

The wedding day arrives

What will Amy's creepy husband do next? Even his
daughter's wedding doesn't make him behave.
Each chapter brings a new revelation and June has a wonderful way of keeping this story exciting and one you will not want to put down.
