I graduated from the College for Creative Studies in 2004 with a BFA in illustration, my love of cartooning and comics has led me to where i am today.
I've done licensed work for DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic, Fraggle Rock and more. I love being a nerd, so being able to draw nerdy things for a living is the best thing ever.
I'm married to the best guy ever. Ryan keeps me grounded.
I have a daughter, Grayson, who is my booger-y little destroyer of worlds.
I like my cats... a LOT. ...Our dog isn't too bad.
I live in a state shaped like a mitten.
The constant support of my family, pets, friends, and even complete strangers, is what drives me to succeed in art. Thank you everyone, because of you, I am what I am.
Cook & Price are definitely my favorite team. Their work is like really well-done fanfiction, and I love what they do with Luna and Celestia! This story particularly caught my eye because of Starswirl's involvement. He's always been a character that has a lot of potential that they haven't even explored in the show.
This issue is the start of a four-issue arc entitled "Reflections."
This is an awesome start to what has the potential to be an awesome arc. I love seeing younger, slightly less wise Celestia, and the idea of there being another mirror to an alternate Equestria is pretty cool.
Finally, the Mirror Sombra arc! He was so underutilised in the show, but it makes for a tragic romance with Celestia during this arc lol.
Also neat to get some more backstory for Star Swirl. He's also underutilised in the show, but I've often wondered how he became such a legendary wizard.

This is another Cook/Price issue and definitely worth the read.
Celestia has gone missing and Luna calls in the Mane 6 to help her find her sister. They travel to the secret lair of Star Swirl the Bearded in search of information while Spike and Luna played various board games (which will make you chuckle).
It's Cook & Price! There's Luna and young, adolescent, unwise Celestia. That is awesome, because young Celestia should be featured more in official releases. The thing about Cook & Price is that their work feels like well-done fanfiction, except that whatever they write becomes part of the official canon.
Read this issue for Luna. She totally stole the show.
