Possibly the HEAs come easier because my home and office are in a romantic clearing of giant evergreens in the Pacific Northwest. Think Snow White without the Dwarves. But I do have a bounty of wild animals that come to visit. There’s even a resident nuthatch that talks to itself (constantly)! And there *are* currently seven chickens in the henhouse…

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I really enjoyed this one.
Elliott and Bailey met when she comes to be the nanny for the single dad's. Elliott's daughter Ivy was suppose to spend her summer with the kids but now she's going off to London to visit her mom. So Elliott hires a nanny for his single dad's group, giving her free room and board. Bailey is on her way for her vacation when she receives the phone call that she's needed for the summer. Since Bailey's so close she decides to check things out. Bailey arrives at Elliott's castle and Ivy shows her around. Bailey finds out the father's will drop off their kids at his place. Before Elliott's daughter Ivy leaves she tells her father she wouldn't object if he found her a step-mom before she comes back from London. When Elliott gets back from dropping Ivy off at the airport he calls some of his billionaire childless friends to play poker. While the guys are all at the table Bailey comes out to go swimming, Elliott leaves to go have a word with her. While swimming Bailey stops when Elliott is watching her, she asks him if there's a problem. Elliott tells her he never said she could show off that much skin, Bailey doesn't understand since her bathing suit doesn't reveal much. Bailey excuses herself when Elliott tells her he has company and four men are watching her. Elliott walks Bailey to her cottage where he helps her inside and tells her to keep her door locked. Elliott tells Bailey she can use the pool before five pm, and if she uses it after he knows she'll be ready for him. Sometime overnight Elliott decides that she's his, Bailey's upset over the new rules he's put in place. Bailey heads to town to check out things, then heads to the library so that she can see the children's section. While Bailey's in town she picks up a few bikini's, for three days Elliott watches her. When Elliott's had enough he has Bailey come inside to see him. Elliott pulls Bailey into his lap to let her know her effects on him. Elliott then kisses Bailey, then pleasures her. Elliott then takes Bailey to his bedroom, shows her the closet and tells her if she'd like to change anything to let him know. Bailey doesn't understand and Elliott tells her he plans on marrying her. The next day Bailey doesn't go to the pool, when Elliott shows up at her door he tells her he taking her out to dinner. Bailey finds out that Elliott hasn't been with anyone for ten years, but it's almost been that long for her. Elliott takes Bailey to a little pub up the mountain. Bailey finds out she'll be meeting the kids at the end of the week, school won't be out until next week. When they order Elliott orders a special pie that Bailey doesn't see on the menu. After they eat the waitress brings out the pie, and Bailey notices everyone gets quiet. Elliott cuts a piece of pie and feeds it to Bailey and asks her what she thinks. Bailey tells Elliott that it's delicious and soon everyone is talking again. Bailey asks Elliott if he'd like to get out of there, so he has them box up the pie. While driving back down the mountain Elliott explains the pie to Bailey. Bailey tells Elliott she wants him to make love to her. Elliott tells her that this isn't temporary, he's going to move her in. Elliott kisses Bailey then pleasures her then they make love. Elliott tells Bailey he wants her all to himself and she tells him he can't have her during her working hours. Bailey asks if they can finish the pie and Elliott goes to get it. While Elliott is getting the pie he sends a quick text to Ivy telling her to be back home by Labor Day for his wedding. Elliott tells Bailey she'll be moving her things into his home but for tonight he gives her a toothbrush. Elliott asks Bailey if she wants children and she tells him she never thought about it since she didn't have a relationship. Elliott tells her he'll give her the summer to think about having children, but Bailey tells him she didn't think he would want anymore. Three months later, Elliott asks Bailey what she decided. Elliott, with a wry face, looks at his friends and fellow members of the single dad co-op. It was created to help single dads navigate the complexities that come with being both parents, to their children. They can tell there is something just not right.
Elliott tells the guys to listen up. There’s about to be a last-minute change in your plans Ivy has changed her mind for the summer. Ivy will leave next week to spend a few months with her mother in London. Their faces are instant fear rather than a sense of “We got this. Elliott is already giving us a reprieve.”
With that, he speaks up. To let them know his plan and how the kids will still be able to come to his house for summer camp. However, he gives a time frame to let them know that they will need an alternative form of child care, by said date. He also lets them know that they need to find some form of sitter for the children.
Although, they can’t seem to understand why it was so all of a sudden. All except maybe Beckett. You see, all of a sudden he starts tracking Ivy (Elliott’s daughter) outside of the slider supervising the younger two kids. He’s extremely tense as he looks at the twins they are the youngest in the group. They are not his own they are his niece and nephew.
Do not push it off, thinking Ivy will stay. She will make your life a living hell. We hope to know by tomorrow morning what your answer is. Some of the guys with the tweenies are like, “Yeah, but the boys are going to rebel against the nanny saying they like Ivy.” Well, Elliott says, You're more than welcome to go and talk to her she does not to talk to me about it.
That's when Beckett says, Maybe it’s a good thing that they refocus their attention where it belongs, he growls, his eyes shifting from staring outside to focusing on the other men. Ivy is leaving at the end of the week. We bought her ticket yesterday. Beckett looks surprised. She’s not coming back? Maybe you might get somewhere with her. Even talk some sense into her.
She’s stopped listening to me. She does leave. Before then but after the guys leave, and when Elliott puts her on the hot seat about if anything is going on between her and Beckett? She looks at him like she is talking to a crazy man. Meanwhile, the agency calls and says they think they have someone in mind so tomorrow she can stop by.
Once they sell Bailey on it, at least Ivy does. Then she hints that Bailey would be great for him. Now, all Elliott can think of is Bailey. Hey hasn’t been with anyone for the last ten years. So, once he declared his intent he was not going backward. This is a Sexy Hot-Over the Top (OTT)

The daughter of Elliott, the male lead, has been the chief babysitter for his friends’ children for a long time but, this summer, she’s going to Europe, so they decide to hire a professional nanny to fill the gap. Bailey, the female lead, has been a nanny for ten years and is considering what she’ll move into when she takes a desperate phone call from her boss and ends up with a summer job that will provide her with a bonus that’ll capitalise her future plans.
Elliott knows he’s in trouble when he meets Bailey and instantly wants her for himself. But he’s determined to ignore that, until his single non-parent friends comment. Now he needs to convince Bailey that she does want him, even if he’s somewhat older than her…
This short story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a sweet and steamy, fast-paced, contemporary romantic comedy. I enjoyed Elliott’s grudging admission of how badly he wanted Bailey and what he was willing to do to give her choices. I enjoyed Bailey’s confidence in who she was and what she was interested in. I enjoyed their speedy relationship development and laughed at their interactions. This is the beginning of a new series and location for this author and I enjoyed the world building and the many secondary characters introduced. I’m looking forward to more!

The Nanny and the Possessive Billionaire is Book 1 of Escape to Haven County. It's a short and steamy, OTT, instalove, age-gap, curvy girl gets her billionaire romance. Elliott is a hunky billionaire single dad to 18 year old Ivy. He is part of the single dad co-op in which the single dads pull together for daycare in his town. His daughter was supposed to watch 10 kids for summer camp but is now going to Europe. He offers his guest cottage to Bailey, a nanny, and his home to still have the day camp even though his child is gone. Bailey is a sassy, feisty, and curvy Nanny in her late 20s. She was planning to be done with nannying until this last job came up and was almost too good to be true. When Elliott sees her, he knows he has found his future wife. He promptly stakes his claim with his hot and possessive demands that Bailey tries to fight but secretly doesn't want to. The chemistry was hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot 🔥 and the drama was low with an amazing HEA. I'm looking forward to this new sweet, fun, and steamy series from Olivia!!!.

Bailey has worked as a child care provider for ten years. She may no longer work for the various parents, but her former charges remain close to her heart, and she still worries about them. She was supposed to be taking two months off, but this new job offer, with its excellent salary, will allow her to possibly buy a house of her own now rather than later.
She might even get that house sooner than she thought.

'The Nanny and the Possessive Billionaire' by Olivia Sinclair is about a billionaire who finds a replacement Nanny for his group of single dad friends who had been using the Billionaire's daughter as a nanny for their children. His daughter was leaving the country, so the billionaire offered to find a replacement. When he saw who the agency had sent, he made his mind up right then that he was going to marry her. He had not dated in over ten years and was fine with that until he saw the new nanny. The nanny was shocked the very next day when he made his intentions toward her known to her. She was shocked but even more when she realized that his shocking admission appealed to her.

This short read was straight to the point with the connection and chemistry between Elliot and Bailey (although I would have liked some more of this personally), I enjoyed that Elliot was no nonsense and went after what he wanted, I also liked that there was no drama to deal with, it was just them and what became between them. I have an idea of what's going on with Elliot's daughter and would like to read her story next.

Elliot’s daughter Ivy ran a day care but now she’s leaving for Europe to visit her mother. There are a total of 10 kids in this daycare and they need someone immediately. Elliot suggest a nanny and in walks Bailey. For such a short story it packs a whopping punch. Well written fast paced sweet and so steamy. I loved it can’t wait for more in this series. Great first story.

I enjoyed reading The Nanny and the Possessive Billionaire. Once I started reading this book I didn't want to put it down. The characters are great and it grabbed my attention from the start. I don't want to spoil this for anyone so I won't go into details. Please read the book blurb for some information. I recommend reading this book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Elliott needs to hire a nanny for his nanny co-op with his best friends since his daughter has decided to go see her mother! What he didn’t expect was to meet and fall for beautiful Bailey the new nanny! Can he show her that they belong together? Can they find their happily ever after? Great short story that will have you finished reading this book in no time at all. It has great characters as well as a storyline with fantastic chemistry together. I was really impressed with Olivia's book, and I know you will enjoy it as well.

This is a well written fast paced novella with strong characters in Bailey and Elliot. The author packs a ton in this short story and paints her scenes perfectly, delivering a sweet and sexy read.

This is a steamy and fun romance in the author's new "Escape to Haven County" series. The story is about Bailey and Elliott. The story is not overly long but entertaining. Elliott is charged with finding a replacement nanny for his group of single dad friends. When he sees who was sent over, Bailey, he is determined to make her is. I enjoyed this story and really like the characters.

This is a fun short story where the billionaire falls first. Bailey and Elliott are meant for each other and have a steamy instant connection. Their banter is fun with each having their own feisty personality. Olivia Sinclair has a wonderful writing style that I look forward to experiencing in her other books. Highly recommend!.

New series from Ms. Sinclair and it started with a bang! Nanny boss stories are always really fun reads because the heroine is almost like a deer in headlights and it's fun to read. This was a great start to the series.

This was an over the top, insta love romance. Elliot is possessive, demanding and all in with Bailey. The story was sweet with a HEA.

Loved this!!! It felt different than other Olivia books and not in a bad way at all. I absolutely loved their chemistry and I loved his inner dialogue and how strong he was. They were so good together.

This book was definately hot. He is such a possessive alpha and she is in way over her head. Honestly, I think he was too. Watching the these two tangle with each other was riveting.

I finished this book in one day! It was a short book and a fast paced book. I wouldn’t mind reading it again. I wish it had more depth in the book but it was still good.
