Davina I walked away from the club the minute those two pink lines showed up on the test. There were only a few good options for a baby daddy among the club’s men, and the odds weren’t in my favor that my daughter’s father was one of them. So, I never told them. Until I had to. Her life was on the line and my secret might just destroy the happy little life I’d managed to find. Especially, when it turned out the baby’s father was the President of the Savage Vipers MC.
Tripp I married my kids’ mom after a one-night stand led to her getting knocked up with my son. Despite leaving my high school sweetheart behind for her, we had a good life until she was killed. Eight years later, I reconnected with my high school sweetheart and when I finally brought her around my kids, history repeated itself. Our former club girl had a baby. She was sick and needed help. That little girl also turned out to be my daughter. Her mother was a woman I had been interested in but couldn’t have because of our age difference and the fact that she was a club girl. Despite all that, she quickly became the one woman I couldn’t let go.
*This book is a standalone story, but is better when read after Surprise Me (Tripp's younger years).

Ok, so three weird stars. Don’t hate me please I quite enjoyed this one because it’s an unusual mc. It’s funny and this is why I somehow liked it. The heroine is a club hoe. Yes, she is, meaning she’s been with all the brothers. Eeek. No judging anyone here though. There’s age difference but it didn’t bother me a lot because she’s thirty, not a kid. He has children and one grandchild because he married very young. His wife died nine years before the story starts, the wife was the girl he got pregnant while on a break with his long term gf, and he married her and was eventually happy. She died in a fire. Now his ex gf, the one he dumped twenty and something years before, is back and she wants him, because? The woman is rich and married to a rich guy, so why should she want him, and I mean it’s not as if this woman is nice, sweet and loving, I suppose it’s only because he left her and not the opposite. The hero has sex with the heroine, the club hoe, he alway liked but never had sex with until now, and he gets her pregnant. But she doesn’t tell him because she doesn’t know if it’s his. It could be anyone’s. Because she had sex with all the club the weeks afterwards, including his own son and his son in law. Eeeeeeek. So, she leaves the club and has her child, a lil daughter without anyone knowing it. Meanwhile the hero is now dating his ex, who’s still married and asking him to wait because she would lose her inheritance if she divorces her husband, which thing the hero doesn’t really like so they’re keeping it platonic. How a big bad rough biker would be celibate for one year and more because he doesn’t do married women, well, I just can’t understand. He doesn’t seem very attracted to this gf, and he knows his children would hate him because he is with her, after all she hated their mum, so why is he doing it? The heroine find out her lil girl is sick and needs marrow bone transplant so she decides to ask for dna to several guys, that was really embarrassing. I was feeling sorry for her, and in the end it turns out the kid is the hero’s. I must admit he’s quite nice to her, not blaming her because she never told anyone about her pregnancy. I liked that he was immediately supportive and kind and that he decided he would make her his new old lady, well I suppose he compared his gf that his kid hated with the heroine that his kid screwed, and decided the latter was the better option or the lesser of evils. lol. Don’t take it too seriously, please, I laughed while reading and cringed sometimes. Turns out his ex gf was the evil psycho one, she wanted all his family dead and killed his first wife. What can I do. The woman dies in the end and I appreciated that there wasn’t torture on the heroine or on the lil child. In the end the hero marries his hoe, ahem his old lady and the kid is healed, which I liked. What can I say, it was funny and bizarre, of course not safe but at least the heroine was not a celibate and pining woman.
Not sure what's going on with this author, cause when she writes well she really wrings out the emotions.
This was not written well. Our 30 year old h had the personality of a 16 year old. Way too naive and sweet to be an experienced club girl, unless she was a little light in the head. Which can't be true, because she became a paralegal after finding out she's pregnant, but before giving birth.
Eh. Insta love isn't my thing. Club ho's aren't my thing either, but I knew going in about that so no bones.. I just can't get into this author and I've tried. ymmv
I hate to say that considering I gobble up all of this Authors books. However I got aggravated with all the gut feelings that they never took to heart while Kim was alive. Even Tripp when he was around June had all these gut feelings but always pushed them to the back burner.
For me personally the book got better around 70% when things picked up. Tripp was around Davina and their daughter. Finally declaring his feelings.
But the best was he started acting like the President of the Savage Vipers. When you read it you will understand what I mean. For the first 70% we are basically in his head while he's feeling lonely and giving June a chance. I mean her cr@zy leaks through but he still pursued her. Seriously?
I must admit that I usually like Anne Storm books because she doesn’t shy away from more complex and controversial topics, usually cheating and its aftermath, but Baby Me wasn’t one of her of her better books. I really enjoyed the first 2 books in the series as they were more than the usual MC trope but this one was just kinda boring. We met the main characters of Tripp, Kim, June and Vina in the previous books, especially book 3, so we already have an idea of the plot and whilst this book finishes off some of the story arcs not a lot happens in the book. Actions don’t necessarily have any real consequences. Vina keeps her pregnancy of a “club child” secret, for good reason, and it’s mentioned that there will be repercussions but everyone goes “okay we understand” so basically the club isn’t bothered. Totally understandable but why make a mention of this if nothing comes of it? That’s just one example. In the previous books we get background information about the main characters but there’s hardly anything about the personal experiences before the main characters get together or while they’re together. Another minus is that there’s continuity issues with the story and various grammatical mistakes, at one point Star say your Dad to Vina, referring to Tripp, when she actually means her/my Dad. It just little mistakes like this that take away from the story and the general feel of the book. Overall a 3 star rating as the book does answer some previous questions and is generally written well but if this is your first experience of either Anne Storm or the Savage Vipers start on the first book in the series. The book does continue to set the scene for the Kip & Scout storyline which has been bubbling along throughout the previous books so I will be taking a chance on Patch Me when it’s released later in the year.
This was a pretty good Mc story. I think the ending and the insta love was a little over the top. The author didn’t spend time developing a relationship between H and h. We get a one night stand and inner thoughts of them thinking of each other. When the truth comes out about h the hs situation it’s insta love.
Big NI - wtf wants to read a "love" story about a clubgirl (a/k/a ho) that gets preggo and isn't sure which man in the club is the father .... oh yeah, and the ML that's the father has a son that also sexed the club girl (a/k/a FL).
I had been wanting to read Baby Me for some time and I'm so glad I did. You do have to read Surprise Me before this one to get a better feel of everyone in this book.
Davina is surprisingly strong only wanted what was best for her and her baby Coral. She did what she had to do and then she had to fight for her baby because of where she came from. So glad Davina had help to get her out of her troubles. Then Tripp who did quite feel right about his ex but couldn't really justify why he wasn't feeling it. Crazy don't let you know they are crazy right away.
Tripp had wanted Saving but thought his kids wouldn't like her because of their mother and what happened to her. But he was missing her and did wonder about her. June was slowly biding her time to make her move. But life has a way of getting in the way and history repeating itself. Then the gloves were off and June knew she had to up her game. While all this was happening Tripp and Davina were getting closer and learning about each other and their pasts. I loved seeing them together! Tripp deserves to be happy after everything that happened.
I did not see what she would do to any of the people in her life, she was a nut!! I couldn't believe she could hide so well. Then so glad she had her karma served cold to her! She got what what she had coming to her.
What a heartbreaking storyline for this book. Trip is the man that seems to think that finding his second chance to love again is not in the cards for him but little does he know that things are going to change for him in the most drastic way possible. He will learn to love and be loved and know that Second chances are a possibility. Davina is so devastated and lost because all she ever wanted in life was to have a big family to depend on her and she depend on them, but life doesn’t think that is a possibility because she finds out that her baby has a life-threatening disease that’s going to change her and find what it is to have family behind her and learn that behind that family is standing a man willing to give his all. This couple is going to face many challenges that are going to teach them to depend on each other and learn to know what it is to ever live and love again. Can’t wait to read more books written by this author.
An ok read. Could have been better. This book might be a trigger for some. It has a sick infant who has leukemia.
I don't know how the MMC thought that it would be a better idea if he got together with his crazy ex whom he ditched for his deceased wife when they were in high school because he got her preggers. He thought his kids would accept his ex gf better than a younger gal who was a club ho. He didn't even feel anything for the ex now and he felt a connection with this club ho but didn't do anything about it. He dated the ex on and off for 2 years without having sex with her because she was married... that should have given him a clue to ditch the psycho ex.
The scenes between FMC and MMC were ok. He was very supportive during the baby's hospitalization and there for the FMC.
Tripp the mature, ruggedly handsome Savage Vipers Prez, has an emptiness within him since the loss of his wife. He’s lonely and misses having someone in his life. He shares a night with Davina but he refuses to acknowledge he wants more, she is a club girl and too young.
When Davina discovers she is pregnant, she bolts from the club, but when doctors diagnose her babies illness she is forced to return and find out who the father is and if they are willing to help.
A fantastic story brimming with drama, angst, deceit, manipulation, OW interference and shocking plot twists.
I was gripped from the first page and read in one sitting. I would recommend reading Surprise Me first as this will give insight into Tripp, his wife and the person who can’t let him go.
Woooooooow what a frikken crazy twist that I never saw coming! I don’t want to be a spoiler so I won’t share too much.
Firstly, gahd damn Tripp is sexy as hell! He gave me all the Zadddy vibes with that smut🥵
Poor Kim, I felt soo sad for her living a short life but glad to know that she was truly loved by her husband, family & she had a great life. Tripp is a beautiful man, despite his one drunken mistake, he is soo loyal & dedicated. Great read, I loved all these books… do we get a Kip story? If not then I’m sad its over
Anne Storm certainly doesn’t disappoint with this story! I liked that it followed the same characters from the Savage Vipers MC and had some guest characters from another of her series.
If you like crazy OW drama, then you’ll like this book. June gives off more than bunny boiling vibes. 😬 The petty part of me was only too happy to see that June got what she deserved.
I appreciated the family acceptance and healing this book offered. Tripp grew into a loving, kind, protective, and honest character which was refreshing. I also found him swoon worthy with Vina. I also really liked Vina.
Baby Me was a long awaited book but holy cow is it worth the wait. This story is full of emotion! It's devastating, gutwrenching and so, so beautiful. Tripp has definitely had his share of tragedy and sorrows but it all seems to come full circle with Davina. There's lots of drama, action, danger and intrigue within these pages. So many questions are answered and suspicions confirmed and it's all wrapped up in a beautiful, neat little bow by the end. What a fantastic story!
This kind of drama is my guilty pleasure and I’m here for it 😂
I loved reading this series, and I enjoyed reading this book so much.
I loved Vina more than Tripp actually I found her more mature and strong than him.
I would have loved for him to claim her from the start and to hell with anything but I guess it needed to be like this for the book and I’m also happy with that.
I was absolutely enamored with Tripp and Kim’s love story and absolutely gutted by the revelations of her death. They had a beautiful life together, so it was bittersweet to watch him find his second chance in Davina. This was a wild and angsty ride full of some off the wall twists. If you’re a lover of Anne Storm’s books, I highly recommend this series.
Thankfully Tripp finally sees June for who she really is which leads him right to where he should be, with Davina. What an emotional rollercoaster, loved the ups as well as the downs and so thankful karma won in the end. Looking forward to more! Just read it!
I have been waiting for this book to come out it was well worth the wait love the cross over from S.H.E MC. I was sad for Kim how she died but we got justice for her I love it can't wait for kips book now
A book about a man who lost his wife and him falling in love with a club girl. Who gets pregnant. She leaves but he can't seem to forget her but he goes out with a woman from his past to get over her. But he figures out to late he trusted the wrong person.
After book four i thought we'd be getting a second chance romance with June (i didn't read the synopsis for this one) and i was worried because i hated June in the last book! Lol, turns out there was no need to worry at all! Loved this one.
Not usually a fan of baby with a club girl trope but I actually liked Davina, didn’t even bother me that dad and son both slept with the same women and didn’t know who the dad was.
OTT OW drama but that’s my jam
3.5*

Davina and Tripp were perfect together. When he finds out he is a father but not only that but his daughter is sick, he is there for both of them. And when his ex is causing problems he will do anything to protect his family.
No emotion or plot. What do the couple even know about each other except that they are attracted to each other and they have a kid? And me being so excited.
