Immortal to the End: A Challenging True Story of the Supernatural

Rate this book
Charles believes that he is destined to survive until the Second Coming no matter what. Ever since 1976 when he devoted his life to God he has survived situations when many should have died. On his website he recounts near death experiences since he was a baby in Hungary at the beginning of WWII, 36 years before he became a God has been preserving his life, including the last years of the war in Germany. He has had numerous visions and dreams, experiencing marriage and financial near disasters yet each time God has brought him and his family through. His lovely first wife, Czech born Milena, passed away in 2021. In 2020 he gave 22, one and a half hour studies, on the End Times at his church. The elders at church were disturbed by it, but the group of eighteen who attended were enthralled; all, except his own son, a brilliant PhD in Cosmo-physics who specializes in artificial intelligence. Charles has a PhD in biophysics himself. His son thought that his father had gone off the planet; the series had become too supernatural for him. He and his wife stopped attending. Yet half-way during the series a young man came forward and told Charles, "The Lord has given me ten years". "Exactly what the Lord told me", Charles responded, yet prior to this Charles had not breathed a word of it to anyone. Read the book, take up the challenge, follow his website and test out the truth of his claim for yourself over the next few years. Charles is either a liar or is blessed by the Lord. God is good. All credit goes to the Lord Jesus. In 2024 Charles married a devout Papua New Guinean widow Gloria. She and her husband had been Senior Pastors of the AOG church in PNG for ten years.

Charles felt that he was going to be there when the Second Coming occurred. He was certain of it. He devoted his life to God back in the 70s, and since then, he was in many situations where he probably should have died. However, he survived. Not only that, he experienced many prophetic dreams and visions that told him God had a specific plan for him. Charles began to speak of his visions in the church he attended. This enthralled some of his congregation, but frightened others.

While this was going on, Charles endured the death of his first wife. He also had a falling out with his son. Throughout all of the trials and tribulations, though, he remained sure of the righteousness of the path that God had set him on. This is Charles’ incredible true story, one of pain, joy, and genuinely miraculous events.

A Book that reaffirms faith!

This is a book that reaffirms that faith is the last thing to be lost and I found the testimony recounted here very moving. Charles' personal testimony presents a compelling narrative of divine intervention and protection throughout his life. From near-death experiences during World War II to miraculous escapes from financial and marital crises, he attributes his survival to God's guidance.
I find it a book to regain faith especially if you are in a “fight” with God, this is a book that brings you back to your center, so I recommend you read it.

Intense and personal

The author's belief in his supernatural destiny and his near-death experiences since childhood are fascinating, especially since they come from such a personal and spiritual perspective. The supernatural elements, like his dreams and visions, are intriguing, and whether you believe in them or not, you can't deny that Charles truly believes in his calling.

I found this book to be a very heartfelt testimony. Charles shares decades of experiences, from surviving childhood during WWII to the spiritual journey that shaped his life later on. I appreciated the honesty with which he talks about his visions, struggles, and even the tension it created with people around him. It feels less like a polished story and more like someone genuinely sharing their life with the reader.
