A Minute to Midnight

John and Henry have been best friends for seven years and have a less than usual friendship, but their bond is so close that each other’s sexual orientation has no bearing on it. John is well aware that Henry is gay, however, he treats him no different and considers him to be his other half. Although the difference in sexual orientation never caused a problem for the friendship, Henry one day realizes his true feelings for John. Henry admits those feelings to John and they come to an understanding, but it doesn’t last long. Soon enough they’re fighting, one thing leads to the next and they stop talking for what they think will be forever. Then, when Henry is on the verge of despair, John comes to his rescue, but one simple mistake and now John is truly gone. Henry attempts to cope with the pain and does anything he can to stay sane. But life has other plans for him, more devastating than he could have imagined.
