A laugh out loud, cheerful and sweet romance. It took some time for Olwydd to get the attention of his fated mate, Bambi. These two were just too cute when they finally figure things out. I adored how charming Olwydd was towards Bambi. He truly treasured her. I loved and enjoyed every moment of this story.

This is book two of the Mates for the Monsters: Sasquatch series and another of the women who were brought to the secret Sasquatch Grotto location is about to find her ideas completely changed by one overbearing resident. Her former life as a third-grade schoolteacher was ripped apart soon after her mother died and she took solace with the local pastor. Only to then be called a homewrecker, after finding out he was married, after he had spent ages lavishing her with gifts and wanting her in his life. She was shown to be at blame in all the media, leaving her losing her job and pretty much everything else. She had been glad of the chance to reinvent herself at the Grotto, even if only for the thirty-day trial period if she didn’t find love. But one of the Sasquatches had been paying a lot of attention to her from the outset, showing off at the dance and even more. His name is Olwydd, and he works in the control center, keeping an eye on the world outside their hidden location, to keep them all safe. He also knew more about Bambi than she thought, having been the one to investigate all of the women who were invited to the Grotto and making sure they was nothing that might pull them back, if they found love.
Olwydd is smitten with Bambi but doesn’t really understand that wooing a human woman is very different that another Sasquatch and with the lack of female Sasquatches, they need to find other ways to find mates for the singletons. Coming on strong to Bambi is a red flag to her and reminds her of the pastor, who lied and ruined her life! The more he comes around though, the more she can’t really deny that she finds him the most handsome of the lot and a pull towards him. She doesn’t exactly understand how he can say she is his mate and why he is so adamant that she is, when he doesn’t even know her! Luckily for him, his sister wants him to take her kids to school and he jumps at he chance to see more of Bambi and invite her for dinner. Not that he even knows how to cook, which his nephews even try to hep him with, resulting in an absolute mess! But at least having his nephews’ arounds seems to melt her objections and even brings some laughs, that is until she finds out just how much he really knows about her and things blow up. Loving the reactions of the nephews and their interactions with Olwydd, as well as Bambi, especially their comments when the couple are together.

Gleeful Goblin Review: This is such a fun and cute read. I'm a lifelong Pacific Northwest resident so any time I see Bigfoot/Sasquatch books I get an extra kick out of reading them and this book was a great little find. Think small town cozy romance, hidden or secret culture, and fish out of water tropes but with extra fur. I especially enjoyed the unexpected touch of tech nerd in our Squatch hero and how protective he is over Bambi.
"I can’t help myself, I log into my personal laptop and open the file I’ve looked at probably a hundred times in the past few days. When the human women first arrived, I did a favor for Gruffydd and some of the other Squatches and dug up everything I could find on the specific human woman each was interested in. The algorithm we used to find potential human mates employed a very intricate and complex set of criteria. Of course, we couldn’t know absolutes beforehand. The algorithm was based on probabilities. For instance, the probability that they were single, of child bearing age, heterose×ual, and open to a monogamous relationship—with an entirely different species. But equally important was the probability that they’d agree to remain in Grotto indefinitely. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what that means. It means that, for whatever reason, each human woman here in Grotto was having difficulty thriving topside in their human world. Kiki, for instance, was in a witness protection program and had some very dangerous men scouring the country for her. For Bambi, my sweet Bambi… I click through the file I dug up on her and, as usual, it sparks a seething fury beneath my skin. The horrible things that were said about her in the magazines, newspapers, and news programs. The more I dig, the clearer it becomes that she was used, toyed with, victimized. As happens every time I view it, I feel a strong desire to right a few wrongs but even more so is my desire to wrap my arms around her. To comfort and protect her."
This is an easy and fun comfort read and I'm excited for more books in this new book world. 5/5 Stars.

I found the beginning with the Sasquatch kids and Bambi hilarious with all the questions. They are adorable little fuzzes. Bambi just loves kids and with what happened to her in the outside world, I can see why she does what she does. So she did something she shouldn’t have, like falling in love for someone who was a jerk and married. I hate that when stuff like that happens the man is hardly ever the ones that the journalists roast. It is a lot of the time that it is the women who are blamed. In this case, she should’ve looked into the guy more, but that is the only thing she did wrong. Olwydd is the Sasquatch she danced with and she is strongly attracted to him. He gives her a lot of attention, but since she was burned so badly (not literally), she doesn’t trust any male. She begins working at the school and her first class has his nephews in it- those three kids are hilarious and adorable and smart as all get out. I laughed a lot at the interactions between that family. Braith is his sister, and her three boys are from eldest, Osian (10), Elis, and Jac (5). I find it hilarious where the Sasquatch’s soul stone is on the guy. I mean come on, lol. Olwydd’s antics are so hilarious in this book and he does mess up a few times with the women in his life. However, things work out and Bambi is so much fun. The other human women are a riot too. I can’t wait to see what happened next.

Bambi is running from being wrongly accused of being a home wrecker and being socially isolated. She signs up for a month at an out of the way location and finds herself living in a cave system with amongst the sasquatch nation. If at the end of the month she has not been matched with one of the males, who outnumber the females by 10 to one, then she gets to go back to her old life. Whilst she loves the community and the children she is still wary of getting involved again after her last disaster.
Olwydd is entranced by the beautiful, sociable little human. But try as he might she just doesn't seem to be interested in him. Not one to give up he just keeps trying.

Bigfoot's Bride is Book 2 of the Mates for Monsters: Sasquatch series. It's a short, sweet, steamy, and silly, opposites-attract, fated mates, girl gets her hunky Sasquatch romance. Bambi is a young teacher who has come to the underground Sasquatch village, the Grotto, for 30 days as the Sasquatch males need mates. Olwydd is a hunky Sasquatch who works security and immediately knows Bambi is his mate. But she's scared as she has been burned before. Olwydd really is a sweet old teddy bear for Bambi. He was persistent. He and his nephews cracked me up. I found myself laughing out loud often. These two had such great chemistry, and the ending was so happy, proving love can come at unexpected times and places. I loved it.

This is my second read in the Mates for Monsters series and I’m loving each visit to Grotto I’ve taken so far. After meeting both Olwydd and Bambi in the first book, I was extremely excited when I saw that we would get to read their story. Olwydd is such a gigantic cinnamon roll… He makes me want to go find this place called Grotto for myself! Getting to know a little of Bambi’s backstory in the first book of the series, I was curious to see how that would play out… and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a fated mates - cozy monster romance, then this is the book for you. Such a short, sweet, and spicy read for those that are in need of “Monster Quickie”!! Highly Recommend!!

loved it !! love this series !!! have been waiting for this one !!! love Bambi ...love, love,love Olwydd... this is their story...a fast paced rom/com drama... and the soulstone... Bambi is hiding out in Grotto with the rest of the women... she had a devastating scandal the took everything from her... Olwydd is a guardman and part of security for the residents of Grotto.. he knows all about the scandal... she has 30 days here in Grotto.. she gets a teaching job here and loves it... and Owlydd he must find a way to be in her life... so good !!!.

I loved Bigfoot's Wife: Book 2 of Mates for Monsters: Sasquatch. Bambi is running from the hate and the lies. No one cared about her side of the story. Being in the Grotto has been life changing, she’s getting her life back but her “mate” Olwydd is too good to be true. She’s believed the lies before. She doesn’t understand how soulmates work for the Sasquatch. He will do anything he can to prove to his mate that they belong together. I loved the story and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

But nature is a tricky thing and she finds that running away from her past opens the door to a beautiful future where all her dreams can come true if she just gives it a chance. Sweet and heartwarming with some very sexy scenes, I loved it.

This was another fun fated-mates monster romance. It's a fab story that showcases starting over and learning to trust. Olwydd fell hard for Bambi and couldn't figure out why he wasn't getting anywhere with her... I love that, despite this being a shorter read, we get some back ground story to make this a fully heartwarming romance with good steam. I'm enjoying how this series is unfolding :D

Such a cute book. Bambi runs her past in the human world and finds a new place she belongs among the sasquatch. She becomes a teacher once again and despise fighting her mind and her heart finds her mate. Olwydd will not let her go without a fight and he proves to Bambi he is nothing like the men from her past!.

This was such a fun read on many scales. Loved the big hairy guy, who is so genuine and kind and willing to do anything in order to win the favor of his mate. Liked how these women aren’t judged and given the freedom to make their choices that will benefit them and not held to any standards. Enjoyed the many funny scenarios involving Olwydd and his eagerness to be charming.

Sasquatches are a whole new Genre for me. But, on saying that I really enjoyed it. The world that evolved to be around them, was one I could really enjoy.

I absolutely loved this short story. It is very funny with great characters. I adore Olwydd's nephews who, throughout the story, had me chuckling and belly laughing at their antics. It is beautiful, heartwarming as well as funny and this is my favourite story so far. I can't wait for the next one in this series.

This Book 2 in The Mates for Monsters: Sasquatch Book Series has an interesting story, well-crafted world and engaging characters. These characters have chemistry, unique personalities, detailed histories and believable interactions. There is humor, second chances, romance, fated mates, twists, turns and romance.

A sweet, short read involving a girl and a sasquatch. What an interesting idea of finding human brides for bigfoot! Some of these females have pasts that seem undersettling until the truth comes out. I liked it that it didn't matter to the males and together they get their HEA.

Awesome Story!!
I love this story!! It has all the feels you could want.
Bambi is trying to run away from her past and the media storm that highlights it.
Olwydd discovers that one of the human women who just arrived is his mate. Now he just has to convince her of the fact.
Of course, that's easier said than done!!

This is a lovely story; Olwydd and his precocious nephews were a joy to read about. No one, not even our wounded and cautious heroine Bambi could resist their sweet natured charm.

While this novella can be read stand alone, I suggest reading the first novella as it has the setup of how the potential brides ended up in the Grotto. This is a fun quick read that will make you smile - and wish we had soul stones.
