Property of Anchor is suspenseful, hauntingly dangerous and full of love and friendship. Pearl and Anchor are drawn to each other from the start and their chemistry and devotion to each other could set the town on fire. Someone has an axe to grind with Anchor and his club. Something is happening that is scarier than the crazy haunted house people come to see on their island. This is a great beginning to a new MC series by Winter that is pushing the boundaries outside of her normal writing zone we’re used to and I’m here for it! She kept me intrigued, invested and hanging on every page needing to know who was behind the chaos causing this nightmare to unfold! I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t happy because I knew a character I really liked was probably not going to make it and I may have lost my sh—- and yelled out that Winter better not go there. I definitely wouldn’t mind Anchor protecting me and yes this man should come with a warning label but that wouldn’t stop me from wanting to be his old lady!

WHAT THE HECK!!!
I cannot believe what I just read. This author took me on a crazy journey up onto a high mountain cliff and just left me hanging. I love it when authors have this power over me. Then I know I’ve sat reading with my mouth agape just waiting for the next thing to happen and then…BOOM! She throws a curve ball at me.
This was an excellent MC read where the Prez may get his woman but will she be taken from him before he can do anything about it. Their chemistry was sizzling but it was also all of the intense suspense, twists and turns, whatever you want to call it that made this a book that I couldn’t put down once I started it.
I don’t want to give anything away and with this being the first in KOAMC Michigan Chapter I’m all on board for the ride that author is taking me on. I highly recommend this book and cannot wait to see what comes next.

This book contains two of my favourite things, MC’s and scares. Anchor and his MC run Skull Island, a theme park complete with a Haunted House, scares galore. Pearl works for her dad who owns a painting business, the MC hires them to revamp their theme park, so Pearl and her crew turn up to work and Pearl and Anchor meet and the sparks fly. Add in some banter, some mystery and a who done it and you have Winter’s latest masterpiece. This book is great from beginning to end. I especially enjoyed the ending………not although I’m not a fan of cliffhangers I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Winter releases the second book soon. I highly recommend you reading this book, it’s definitely earned the 5 stars 🌟.

Oh. My. Goodness! Well, this is a bit different from what we've been used to from this author and I was here for it! There's a little darker theme that absolutely kept me involved with every moment. Anchor is the President of the MC, and he's a natural protector. I loved Pearl, she's talented, strong, and doesn't back down. These two have a great build up! There's a lot of tension and suspense that kept me on edge and characters that were easy to love. I'm looking forward to more from this new series!

This series is starting off with a bang!
Anchor is the MC President and he has his hands full, especially when the bodies start appearing. Yet with all that is happening, he takes one look at Pearl and knows she is his. Pearl is one of those characters you want to be best friends with and is the perfect counterpart for Anchor.

Good read. Does have editing issues, but the story was so good, could easily ignore those.
They are together at the end, but the story itself ends on a cliffhanger. Still don't know who the killer is....and I have no idea😬

anchor and pearl are the mix I didn't know I needed. add in some badass painting and a scary island mixed with murder and you got one interesting story. of course you get left hanging excited to see what happens between Shay and Prime.

Ok
I read all of this authors books and normally love them. This is a start to a new series and I know that the "stage" has to be set, but I really had a hard time getting into this book. I liked the characters and storyline, but there was not any type of ending to this book, plus this is a MC, but not one time did a motorcycle get ridden.

2.75⭐️ Scooby Doo crew meets KOAMC. Property of Anchor is the first book in the Michigan chapter of the Kings of Anarchy MC. I get that this book is basically the set up to how the storyline goes but I wasn’t feeling it. There was just too much left hanging in the air. Maybe it will get better as the series progresses, who knows 🤷🏻♀️.

It was pretty good but it feels unfinished and there's A few spots I don't get cause of the fact that it's not a game but it doesn't make sense that nobody understands the cryptic of it all.

The Michigan MC chapter of the Kings of Anarchy own and run Skull Island Ghost Boat Tours and Haunted House. Anchor is the president of the Michigan MC group now. He has hired a group to come in and paint the haunted house buildings during the day and have it ready for the haunted house by the time they open at night time. The painting crew comes in and he sees Pearl for the first time, he wasn't expecting her, he was expecting her father.
Pearl loves painting with her father and his company. He hasn't let her run a lot of the projects, but this haunted house one she is running. She is super excited about the ideas. Pearl loves to draw and paint in her off time and being by the lake will give her great sunset paintings to work on.
Anchor has been coming and watching Pearl and the painting group work during the day, but always keeping his distance. Anchor and Pearl chat and flirt a little bit. One night Pearl is walking a path down to the lake by her cabin she is staying in and finds some cloth, that was on a branch. Walking down the path she comes across a body. Anchor finds her and has her follow him and his guys and they talk some. Anchor lets Pearl knows it is no one on his crew who is doing the killing, but someone is trying to set them up. Anchor starts spending more time around Pearl, and stealing kisses every now and then from her. Once Anchor and Pearl move forward they realize that someone is actually after her. Anchor and his MC crew do everything to protect her.

Holy Cow…. talk about an edge of your seat MC Romance, Ms. Travers has truly outdone herself with the start of her new series: Kings of Anarchy MC, Michigan. It begins with Anchor, the club’s Prez story. His chapter is located on Skull Island, where not only their clubhouse is located, but it’s always where the club runs a haunted house and ghost boat tours. He hires a crew to repaint the haunted house during the daylight hours, not expecting the crew to be run by the owner's sexy daughter, Pearl. His attraction to her is almost instant. But when dead bodies start washing up on their shores, specially targeting the KOAMC, Anchor’s job intensifies. He has to keep the business running while solving the murders and keeping his men. But when the murders turn more personal and Pearl gets dragged into the club's mess, Anchor knows he’ll burn down the island to keep her safe. Who is behind the murders and targeting the Club? Will they solve the mysteries before one of their own is killed?
This is quite an intense, suspenseful MC Romance that is expertly written and will have you smiling one minute and cringing the next. I can’t recommend grabbing it up enough. As for this reader, I can’t wait for book 2 in the series and hope it’s coming soon, as the book ends leaving you with a suspenseful clue of what’s to happen next.

Whew! This story is INTENSE! A haunted mansion & ghost tour, run by an island of bikers, is quite the unique story setting. It seems like they've got a good gig going, but someone is EXTREMELY unhappy with them & they don't know who, or why.
Pearl arrives to the island with a mission - to paint. The haunted house needs a lil face-lift & she & her crew have the talent to make it shine. 😁
There's an instant chemistry with Anchor & Pearl, but he fights it... til he can't! Lol I love getting to know the, & the club, as they're getting to know each other. 💚 And when they get together, the chemistry ignites! 🔥🔥🔥
I also really enjoyed the whole cast. As things get more intense with the scary island stalker, they all come together to solve the mystery before more bodies start piling up. And lemme tell you, some tears were also shed...
Of course, this author writes epic series that never wrap up in one story, so we'll just have to wait til the next one for more clues...

Well hold on tight because this first book in the Kings of Anarchy MC: Michigan chapter is one chaotic ride. When Pearl and her team land a job on Skull Island to repaint the Haunted House, it was just supposed to be another job, what it wasn't supposed to be about was death, destruction, suspense and a man that would steal her heart. This story has you literally on the edge of your seat and biting your nails as you feel the danger lurking just beneath the surface. As the darkness surrounds you, you will find yourself holding your breath as more and more messages are left for the KOAMC. There is witty banter, passion and nail biting suspense with a side of secrets and mayhem. What a way to start this series off as you find yourself drawn to Pearl and Anchor with such ease. However as the messages mount up you find yourself question each and every person including the brothers as to who might be behind the real life scare tactics. The end will have you screaming for more and filled with anticipation for the next book.

I'm absolutely loving the Kings of Anarchy MC and getting to read the different authors works! This is definitely different from what we're used to seeing from the author but I'm absolutely living for it. It combines the MC world with some scares. The Kings of Anarchy MC Michigan chapter run Skull Island- a theme park with a haunted house and other scares galore. Their theme park is in need of some new paint so in walks Pearl who works at her dad's painting office.
When Pearl and the crew turn up to Skull Island to start their work it's instant sparks for Anchor and Pearl. So much so that others on the crew take notice. Add in some mystery from someone committing murders and wanting the MC to know about it.
Perfect amount of tension and suspense in this new instalment of the KOA and I'm super excited to see what comes next for the Michigan chapter- especially since it ends on a cliffy!

Oh Winter, I loved Anchor. thank you for an awesome story.
Anchor and Pearl, started a relationship in the middle of chaos. Chaos that could not only destroy the club but their relationship as well. I love the communication between the two of them. Its good for them. I'd love to see some of Pearl's painting works because they sound awesome. Anchor, surprised me at first. They way that he didn't want to face his feelings but then something changed in him to force them to show.
Plot and characters combined to make the book more awesome. The characters rolled with the plot and chimed in where they were most comfortable. The club banter along with the banter of the painting crew added to the story.
One thing is for sure within this story keep those you love close to you or you might lose them.

Definitely has me intrigued.
This was definitely a great start to a series. I was slightly thrown off by the ending or well cliffhanger in a sense.
But reading about Pearl & Anchor was definitely enjoyable. They both had this great chemistry with one another that made it seem so relatable despite the chaos that was occurring.
Pearl has been hired to help repaint the haunted house on the island that is run by the Kings of Anarchy MC. She never expected to meet the likes of Anchor though. And he definitely threw her off kilter.
But there is someone out there leaving bodies behind as a threat & Pearl gets caught in the crossfire because of her budding romance with Anchor.
And those last chapters were rough. Poor Pearl. Definitely left me curious to find out who is behind all of this.

How cool is it to have an island, a haunted island that racks in cash. The MC lives there, Anchor handles business and everyone plays a part from being the jump scare guy to taking the tickets. It's an amazing thing. Skull Island is here to stay and everything needs upkeep and a refresh now and then.
Pearl is a visionary and painter, she has the eye to make things come to life and the crew to do. But can she handle living on a island while doing it? Can she stop the pull that Anchor has on her.
When make believe scary meet real life scary, mystery and and a real life whodunit starts. So many questions and not enough answers.
I couldn't believe it ended that way. I was not ready, so not ready. We need more, it's not fair!!

Anchor, is the Prez of his chapter and it's located on Skull Island, where clubhouse is along with a haunted house and ghost boat tours run by the club. He wants to repaint the haunted house during the daylight hours, not expecting the crew to be run by the owner's sexy daughter, Pearl. Their attraction is almost instant. But when dead bodies start washing up on their shores, and Pearl gets dragged into the club's mess, Anchor knows he’ll burn down the island to keep her safe.
This book is intense, suspenseful, mysterious, and kept me on the edge of my seat. After the tidbit of information that was dropped at the end I can't wait to get my hands on the next book.

Wow, this suspense filled MC thriller is intense and will keep you on the edge of your seat. This story is set on an island run by bikers. They offer ghost tours and has a haunted mansion Anchor is our leading male. Our leading lady Pearl is on the island to paint the haunted mansion she will get alot more a referral from a sexy biker. Someone is not happy with the bikers, they dont like their ghost tours, haunted mansion or them. Pearl and Anchor have amazing chemistry, he will fight(typical male) but in the end he can't resist her.
Another hit from Travers. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and feel for this series.

What a terrific start to this new series, an MC in a quirky setting, an unknown enemy with malicious intent, tension, suspense, danger and fantastic plot twists. It gripped me from the very first page and has left me desperate to find out what happens next.

UMMMMM WOW.
Great story from the beginning both with Anchor and the MC, as well as Pearl and her painting crew.
What an experience just repainting a haunted house on an island and all he-- breaks loose.....
Pearl and Anchor have looks that they think only they share but others are always watching.
They are so hot together and poor Pearl will have a "babysitter" until Anchor decides she doesn't need protection. The mystery is moving forward all the while building the back story.
Loved Anchor and Pearl's story, can't wait for KOAMC: Michigan #2

What a thrilling and exciting new series. It starts off with a bang. From one page to the next I was on the edge of my seat. All sorts of things going on. Murder mystery, suspense, a haunted house, an island, and an MC. A new favorite read of mine. I loved the buildup of events in this. The story was well flushed out. And the character development was evident. Then that ending was not what I was expecting, it was a total surprise. Now I'm gonna wonder what's coming till the next part of the story. But it'll be so worth the wait.

I've been a fan of Winter Travers books for quite awhile but I think this may be my new fave by her! I love the idea of the MC owning Skull Island & what they do-a nice refreshing concept for an MC! Add in a cute painter to "refresh" their business and you have yourself an amazing story! But, Winter Travers, we really need to discuss you torturing us, again! You know what Im talking about drama queen! Lol

Pearl and Anchor’s story was definitely unique and interesting. The action and suspense really started heating up more about halfway through the book as well as the hotness of the couple!
This is the point where I only read a few pages or a chapter at a time and had to leave & come back because I wanted to know who was responsible for doing all of this madness!
This book is definitely not your typical MC story, but it was an excellent read! I highly recommend it!

Author Winter Travers has created an unique setting in this first book of a new series, one full of mystery, suspense, and wonderful characters. The author is always a one click buy for me and she has outdone herself this time. And of course there is plenty of heat and sizzle between the main characters! I have given this book 5 stars for these reasons, and recommend it to anyone looking for a story that grabs your attention and keeps it from the very first page.
