“Switzerland Travel Guide 2024” by Helena Weiss is loaded with great information about Switzerland, with quite an emphasis on the food. My taste buds were jumping tantalizing dishes she described, and it may be reason alone to grab a flight to Switzerland.
I did appreciate the travel info and found the “day trips” an excellent addition. I also loved learning about the villages that were a blend of other cultures, being situated on the border. I found the cultural tips, like eating with your fork in the left hand and not switching, extremely valuable. The author was very thorough in giving details about transportation, particularly train/tram lines, even to the restaurants she suggested.
To take this guide to a 5 star, I would suggest hiring a professional editor to go through for inconsistencies in spelling, grammar, and repetitive phrases. I also suggest adding more photos, as it’s such a gorgeous country, that words don’t do it justice! Great job

It’s very well written and easy to read. There are pictures, though I wish there were even more! But I thoroughly enjoyed the descriptions and the easy directions on how to get places. I have always dreamed of going to Switzerland. And this is making my dream even more real.
