Time and again, Kyle prioritizes his work, his clients and his company over his relationship with Clarissa. This is a great addition to the Alpha Billionaire Series where Kyle a successful businessman starts an internship at his company and becomes attracted to Clarissa’s mind and they start a secret relationship. These two have a routine and when Kyle is being pulled overseas for work he ups and goes making it a priority over Clarissa with no notice. When Clarissa has some unexpected news to share she’s disappointed never hearing from Kyle so she moves on with her life and years later right before she’s to complete her schooling that was put on hold and her internship Kyle returns to buy the company she’s been working at. With no trust or faith in Kyle, Clarissa keeps him at arms length. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and recommended to anyone who loves a good romance. Kyle Love is a well known architect in Chicago and has offered Clarissa an internship with his business, and he personally takes her under his wings to show her how things are done, he is also very attracted to her and they have a fling during her summer internship, but when he disappears to Hong Kong without saying goodbye, or telling her anything, just as she discovers, she was pregnant, Clarissa is heartbroken and angry. Six years later, Kyle is back in Chicago and is in the process of buying the company that Clarissa works at.
They eventually get back together again and then he discovers that he has a son Leo who is five an a half years old. I thought Boss's Baby Surprise to be a charming, suspenseful, and definite page-turner of a romance story. Author Ava Gray continues to write amazing romance stories that are quite entertaining and enjoyable to read as well as having captivating storylines. I thought both Clarissa and Kyle were both interesting/intriguing characters that have amazing chemistry between them that they could no longer ignore. Boss's Baby Surprise is most certainly a book that I would suggest for other readers to checkout and give it a read. I'm looking forward to seeing what Author Ava Gray will write next.

Clarissa was an intern at an architect firm and fell in love with the owner. When he flew off to Hong Long for an extended stay, she did not get to tell him she was pregnant. He finally came back 6 years later and barely recognized her. That made her mad and she didn't know how to tell him he was a father. They started up again and he met their son and then he disappeared again to Hong Kong. She was really mad this time and moved away. He was frantic when he realized he had screwed up big time and went to Seattle, not knowing where she lived or worked, just that she was there. I loved the groveling, and how he knew how to make her realize he would not leave her again. It was a good story.

Fairly enjoyable second chance romance. This is undeniably a well-written story of intern Clarissa & her boss Kyle who have a passionate fling which ends when Kyle takes off for Hong Kong without a backward glance or even a goodbye! The problem I had whilst reading this was that I found it very hard to actually like Kyle! Clarissa is very naive at the start – and, as a reader, I found it difficult to believe an intelligent woman such as her could fall for her boss’s self-absorbed charm. She is left devastated & pregnant when he departs; even six years later when they re-encounter each other it would appear she hasn’t learned her lesson as Kyle is still the thoughtless selfish arrogant ‘A-hole’ he was years before. An ok read, not one of Ava Gray’s best.

Good Read
Clarissa a hard worker who seemed to be alone in her life. Her friend Merci was a god send to her. She finally got an internship at a very well known Architect firm. Many things happen and he finally grows up and realizes what he is losing. As they try to work things out she takes her time in forgiving many things. Was a heartwarming hot read.

Pero ya cuando, él regresa ella cae tan fácil, o sea sabiendo que la dejó sola con un hijo me desesperó..
Ojalá no existan que bueno, si existen mujeres como ella, que sabiendo que tiene un hijo de muchos años y que no le han dicho al padre, por las causas que sean, no se acuestan otra vez ahí con él, o sea donde cabe una cabeza y siento que él debió de rogar más de no encontrarlos tan fácil..

Who are Clarissa and Kyle? How do they know or meet one another? Who are Sick Steve, the models, and the party boys? Who is Leo? How much of an idiot can Kyle be or act like in the story at times? Who are Marci and Davey? Where do they go as a foursome? Why? What do we see Kyle do twice? What are the results? I snorted and said aloud to my Kindle, "That will teach you!" when certain things happened, and even thought he was being an idiot yet again when a big secret came out. Read and see precisely what happens!

Wowsa this book is so good and will definitely have you enthralled from the beginning until the end and the storyline flows perfectly throughout the book. Clarissa was a intern for Kyle until lines got crossed and he broke her heart ,not only once but twice and her secret she's kept from him for 5 years and now he can either step up or run away again from her. Its a very heartbreaking story that in the end can they find their way back to each other and will she forgive him?.

10/10-star rating is just the tip of the ice burg with this romance book by Ava. I felt sorry for Clarissa because it seemed like while she was doing her internship the other women were not very nice to her. Kyle on the other hand sounds like a hot stud muffin that every woman wants. :) This book has lots of up and downs and secrets that can only be revealed if you read this book and trust me you want to read this book.

Great book. Clarissa internship led to more than she bargained for. Her boss was hot and seemed interested in her. They hooked up and then he disappeared leaving her feeling abandoned, unwanted and pregnant and didn’t even get to tell him. Now he is back and although she doesn’t want anything to do with him the chemistry and pull is just to great.

It was an ok story. Dragged a bit at times. Thought Kyle was an immature man. Used to everyone running his life for him. But he eventually changed. Clarissa was strong. Maybe a little naive. I really liked reading this story. I got pulled in right from the start. I couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved the characters, the chemistry was so good, and the storyline was very entertaining. Y'all are gonna love it. Happy reading.

This is a really good book. There was plenty of passion and steamy chemistry. The storyline was fun and easily pulled into. I will admit that I really did not like Kyle due to his ways, and even towards the end, I wasn't sure about him. Luckily, he ended up redeeming himself towards the end.
