The vampire king’s army of vampire/werewolf hybrids is spreading across America, slaughtering everything in its path. Aided by Celise, a sprite driven mad by despair and armed with a book that grants unimaginable power, Cain’s hybrids can strike anywhere and at any time.
But the hybrids aren’t the sprite’s most powerful weapon. That distinction belongs to an innocent pack member, drawn into a web of betrayal by Celise’s wicked lies. Already pressed on all sides, the wolves’ allied forces must race to uncover a deadly secret being kept by one of their own. If they fail, even their combined strength won’t be enough to stop the evil forces hellbent on nothing less but a complete annihilation of humankind.
The hour of reckoning has arrived, and even the deepest love may not be enough to heal the wounds that come from within. The fate of the grey wolves hinges on their willingness to fight, forgive, and make unfathomable sacrifices.
Hello, Readers. My name is Quinn Loftis and I am lucky enough to call myself a novelist. In 2011, I self-published my first novel, Prince of Wolves with no expectations, other than my friends and family might purchase the book out of pity. Now, several years later, with 30+ novels and counting under my belt, Prince of Wolves had been downloaded over 1 million times. Though I was hesitant at the time to submit my work to the world for their scrutiny, I'm so glad I did. It made my dream of making a living by telling stories a reality.
I'm blessed to share my household my wonderful husband of more than twenty years (who also co-writes with me on occasion), three beautiful sons, a French Bulldog, and an oversized tabby cat. I love hearing from readers, so if you have any questions about the books or my journey, don't hesitate to hit the 'Contact Quinn' in the menu above. Thank you so much for taking a chance on my books.
I had the privilege of being selected as an ARC reader for this book and WOW! Let me say...
Tattered bonds....that is the perfect name for this book because it left me tattered, shredded, and raw. The emotions this book took me through and the messages Quinn packed into this book are so powerful that it took me reading it 2 times and then 2 days of processing it all to deliver this review!
Quinn brings together the Grey Wolves and the Gypsy Healers series in this 21st book of the Grey Wolves series. We see all our favorite characters from both and meet some new ones. The mate bonds and pack bonds are tested in a way that leaves us wondering what will become of our beloved pack?
We see evil do what it does best - manipulate choices, feed lies, and tear unmercifully at bonds. We see good come up against overwhelming odds and stand firm for pack. We see hurt, pain, loss, and grief, but we also see forgiveness, faith, unconditional love, and hope.
Grief has many faces. It overwhelms us and clouds our judgment. It can affect or remove all logic and rationale from our decision-making process. This book shows how grief can cause a person to make selfish choices and that every choice we make has a ripple effect. No matter how many times you tell yourself, it is my choice and only affects me, there are consequences that are far-reaching and affect more people than you know.
Quinn shows us the importance of communication and the effects of a breakdown of communication. It shows us the consequences of self-isolation and the importance of a strong support system. It also shows us unconditional love and the importance of showing up even when we are pushed away because that is when they need us the most.
While reading, there were so many times I wanted to reach through the tablet, grab the characters by the shoulders, shake some sense into them, and yell, "Why are you doing this?" But in the end, the message Quinn is sharing is one that all of us need to hear, and she has given us what we need beautifully. The cliff we are hanging off at the end of this book has us holding to hope, and hope is what keeps us afloat until book 22. Quinn, please, we need book 22! Girl, you knocked this one out of the park.
I have been reading the Grey Wolves Series since book two was released and have been an ARC reader for Quinn for the last 17 books she has published. Despite reading all of Quinn's books and knowing her for so long, I still cannot predict what will happen next. Tattered Bonds took me on a journey I had never seen coming, and I had no idea where it would end. The cliffhanger had me screaming! While I have a deep love for this series, Tattered Bonds has renewed my excitement and need for the series as though I am getting to read the series for the first time all over again. If you have not read the series or stopped reading for some reason, this book alone is a reason to start reading again!
I have been a Quinn Loftis fan from the moment I read her first Grey Wolf book! I had the absolute privilege of being an ARC reader for Tattered Bonds, and as with all of her other books, Quinn did not disappoint. While the GWS is obviously fictional, it provides many lessons that we all need to be reminded of, but not in a preachy, judgment, condemning, condescending kind of way. Tattered Bonds is no different, but the storyline is.
This story is about communication (or lack thereof), it's about, it's about how all of our actions and decisions (good or bad) will always have consequences. How our actions can have repercussions for others if we are not careful. The story is also about love and the bonds between mates or husband and wives and family. True love (be it familial or otherwise) is special and not something to be taken lightly. It's a story of heartache and desperate longing. It's about mistakes and lessons learned. Tattered Bonds is about what all of us go through, will go through, or have gone through. Very rarely do I highlight paragraphs... I did several times in this wonderfully written book.
So grab some hot chocolate, find your favorite reading spot, and travel alongside side our favorite Romanian pack and their extended family. If you read beyond the storyline, you will see exactly what I'm talking about. I can't wait for the next installment. Thank you, Quinn Loftis, for writing amazing characters, providing lessons in life, and all that it encompasses.
This was an ARC read for me. Needless to say, I LOVED Tattered Bonds. The rollercoaster Quinn takes us all on in this book made my stomach hurt, in the best way. I was anxious to read faster and faster just to know what happened but the closer I got to the end, the more I tried to slow down. The last few chapters had me on the edge of my seat (I was laying down but you get it). Lizzy and Finn are a great addition to the pack, Maxim and Alice as well. When Celise does what she does (trying not to give spoilers!) I never saw that coming. The gasp I gasped! I experienced a wide range of conflicting feelings during this read. Anger, anxiety, laughter, righteousness, excitement and heartbreak. Like I said....Rollercoaster. I'm so ready for the next book!
Wow! I have been reading The Grey Wolf Series for a long time and Quinn Loftis has me coming back again and again. Like all her fans I’m screaming and crying “For the Pack”!!! Tattered Bonds is a phenomenal book that keeps you asking “What is happening now?” Every character I have grown to love with this series is like a real person to me. This books shows how much they have grown to get here and leaves you with a feeling of “Hold on for 5 minutes longer”. I am blessed to have been an ARC reader and loved this book. So buckle up you’re in for a wild emotional ride but let’s be honest we all have our inner Jen telling us “come on, you know you like it rough.”
First and foremost, thank you Quinn for the amazing opportunity to be an ARC reader. I treasure your trust in me and in the pack.
Secondly. Wow. Whattheheck. Gasp. I need the next book yesterday please!
In all seriousness, this was a fantastic read. I love how the girls of the GHS have blended so well into the world of the GWS. I had a bit of an inkling going into this book because of some subtle hints Quinn had left in the previous title(s), but as always, Quinn managed to surprise, delight, and keep me on the edge of my seat. This one is more on the heavier emotional side, so be ready and have your tissues. I will say, I love watching Fane come into his own with each book. He never hesitates to put pack first. Even in a book more centered around non-Romanian pack members like this one, he shows he cares deeply for everyone put in his care by the Great Luna.
This book is centered around communication, and what can happen when one party in a relationship doesn't open up to the other; and that no matter what you do or say, your pack will always be there to lift you up when you call. There are some good take away lessons that I will personally cherish going forward.
Again, Quinn, I will be needing book 22 very soon, or I may loose my sanity.
I have been blessed again by being an ARC for Quinn and Bo and let me say this book had me going every which way!!! When I read the title I was thinking it was a different storyline and thankfully I was wrong but I love this one 100%
This one is a roller coaster of emotions that’s for sure but it’s worth it! Every twist and turn that you aren’t expecting makes it so much better too! Be prepared for this one to hit in a lot of different emotions.
I love that the wheelers are back, our favorite trio, and meeting new pack mates and to hopefully learn their stories!
As one of the people selected to read an advanced copy of Tattered Bonds with the promise to write an honest review, I am struggling. Why? I love every single book Quinn Loftis has written. Most of her books make me feel deep emotions - sadness, joy, anger, hope, gratitude, grief, frustration, acceptance, etc. Tattered Bonds was a bit different. It pulled me into a whirlpool of all of the emotions, swirled them around and then spit me out shaken. The escape I live for like the best junkie met a new flavor, and I am still grinding my teeth several days after digesting that cliff hanger.
I do not recommend starting the Grey Wolves series with this book. This book is for the family -- the pack. The Grey Wolves pack and its extended family still have way too much pain and healing to do. Hurting people hurt people. Good hurting people hurt good people. Tattered Bonds explores the depth people who suffer deep wounds will go through to put a balm on their pain. Like most things in life, people cause intense pain to those they are closest to -- true mates, bffs, family. Only love, forgiveness, determination and commitment can pull you out of darkness. The problem, of course, is that we are all flawed. Quinn Loftis exposes the flaws. (Darn her.)
The next generation of pups are growing up and demonstrating who they will become. As you know, our current werewolves seem to be popping out pups like its a race to the maternity ward. It makes the pups and the pack a big target for all of the evil beings. And how is it that every time an evil being is destroyed, more appear? Cain, the evil vampire king does his thing unleashing holy terror on humans. But, he is not alone in his evilness.
The Gypsy Healers and their mates are here. Thank goodness. Jewel, Anna, Heather, Alice, Stella, Sally, Rachel, and Kara bring passion, light, ferocity, and much more. They are still the same preferring to run head first into danger to protect or save those they love. The blind chick demonstrates she can see better than most people with 20/20 vision. The original trio and their mates continue to grow and mature -- even Jen. Fane seems more like his father everyday and Jacque exhibits traits from both her mother and MIL. Our favorite Fae learns more about her past, and the reader gets to revisit Cold Spring. We still have much to learn about this little town of less than 1,000 people.
The supernatural rules are changing. Sheesh! You need a tight seatbelt for this ride.
I like feel good books, and there are GREAT feel good moments in Tattered Bonds. I laughed. I smiled. I yelled. I frowned, but this is not a feel good book. Mostly, I looked for Daniel's chair collection to throw at the Great Luna. I was saved from my own thoughts.
This long review is a symptom of my struggle. I loved Tattered Bonds. I hated where it took me. I loved being back in Cold Springs. I hate the questions that remain. I loved hanging with the old gang. I hate the pain that is still a part of their lives. I loved the kiddos. Nothing to hate with them. Give me more of Thia, Titus, Torion, Slate, Hope, big bellies, over protective furbutts and their crazy mates.
I already preordered the book. You can too! I will get both an e-version and hard copy, because I am self absorbed and need multiple copies to satisfy my ever changing moods. Tattered Bonds, Book 21 of the Grey Wolves series, may be a necessity so I do not live in the "happily ever after" lane, but I need Book 22 like yesterday to flip the evil script and give me a reason to party with Quinn's global pack of readers.
“Tattered Bonds” by Quinn Loftis is book 21 in The Grey Wolves Series. The storyline in this book has shifted and changed the direction of things to come in future books. Quinn left me speechless and feeling as though my heart had been ripped out, however it left me wanting more as well. It ended with a cliffhanger as per usual, (Quinn is queen of the cliffhangers) and still has me wondering how they will get out of the predicament they were put in at the end of the book. I was happy, sad, giggling and crying through the entire book, it kept me on the edge of my seat!
Quinn has several of the pack members as well as the gypsy healers included in this book’s storylines, characters who have been there since the beginning and some new characters we meet on a deeper level through this book. One storyline focuses on one of the girls forgetting the most important thing in a relationship ~ communication and honesty with the person who carries the other half of your soul ~ causing their bond to tatter. This book shows how enticing evil is and how easy it is to compromise our values and morals for selfish reasons, how evil can lead us astray promising us everything then ripping your world away in the blink of an eye. It will put the entirety of all the werewolves, several other supernatural species as well as the human world at risk. Another storyline is about those searching for Cain and the hybrids getting rid of them since they are now killing indiscriminately across the world, another storyline is focused on Peri and learning about her past. As you can tell from my description there are many moving parts and storylines in this book. This book will change the course of their world and bonded relationships will be pushed to the limits and possibly severed.
Quinn did it again she blew my mind with yet another amazing book of course I had no doubt she would!! Quinn not only met but exceeded my expectations! She blew me away with the multiple storylines and a deeper, darker emotional subject matter than her usual books. She writes not only entertaining us but making us think and feel. This book takes not only a few twists and turns but major loops like a rollercoaster, it is an amazing and exciting read and I cannot wait until the next book comes out. Quinn certainly changed things up on us but it is an incredible storyline, I look forward to the next book now more than ever!
Quinn Loftis is a very talented author or as I say often a great storyteller that has created this wonderful world for us to share. Quinn has created a safe place for her readers to discuss her books, she has done nothing short of a miracle pulling thousands of people together to form a family with her books alone. If the Supernatural genre is for you then pick up a copy of Quinn’s book grab some hot chocolate and cookies and enjoy the author and Quinnverse we have come to know and love!
Are you looking for a long running YA Paranormal book series that only gets better with each book? Look no further than the Grey Wolves Series by Quinn Loftis! I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC. Tattered Bonds, Book 21, yes TWENTY-ONE, continues where we left off with the pack. This book is dark, deep, full of twists and turns and surprises at every corner. Characters you’ve fallen in love with, are battling some of the hardest choices they’ve ever had to make. And the consequences of these choices are crushing. This book definitely is ramping it up for an upcoming storm that’s been brewing. Not only are you completely engrossed in this tale, but Quinn’s words hit you right in the feels. The relatability of her “made up sup” characters is unmatched. No spoilers here, but I will say, a familiar character in the pack, had it rough in this one. They made some bad choices, and I struggled reading a few parts that hit so close to home with me. And let me tell you how much I WISH I had had someone there for me like this person did. She writes in such a real raw way. So much passion and emotions. Chills. Feels. Love. Anger. Sadness. Redemption. Retribution. The Queen of Cliffhangers has done it again! She says she suffers from TCAS (The Cliffhanger Author Syndrome), but in reality Quinn is just a super phenomenal author that keeps you on your toes begging for more! Tattered Bonds is the perfect action packed raw, dark, deep next installment of the GWS we’ve been waiting for! Check out her series and start with book one, Prince of Wolves. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed!
Thank you Quinn for letting me be an ARC reader for you, I hope my review does not disappoint.
Writing a review for Tattered Bonds is hard. So much happens in this book and I enjoyed every minute of it… but for the first time, I am struggling with the spoiler free review.
I really enjoyed Tattered Bonds and the direction that the book takes us. This book touches the places inside you that you try to hide from. The struggles, the pain, the choices (right and wrong) I think all speak to parts of us we probably wish we could forget we had. The joy, the friendship, the love, and the faith in a better tomorrow - all speak to the hope in our hearts. This book continues to take us on a journey of love and commitment, it takes us through the hard times and shows us that as long as you believe in something whether that’s your friends, your family or a higher power, you can make it through anything. No journey is easy, no path is smooth. We all make mistakes along the way in the journey that is life, but if you have faith in something… anything… you can make it through the hard times.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it is definitely not a stand alone, so make sure you are up to date before hand - It is everything I didn’t know I needed. I am eagerly awaiting the next book - the cliff hanger is huge! So guys and girls, get your hot chocolate and blanket ready and waiting for you by your favourite chair and be ready for the latest adventure of our friends, the GreyWolves and their allies. ForThePack 🐾🐺
I was very fortunate to be an arc reader. This is a spoiler free review: This was one of those books that I could not put down, I read it in one day. I made so many highlights throughout the book because of the moments that made me laugh, or that made me oh that just happened. This book focuses a lot obviously on the Character Jewel and her struggles that she is facing. I really enjoyed that Quinn decide to take a character who is a Healer and show that even though who are only known to be pure of heart to be more than that. They have just as much pitfalls as anyone who has humanity. Really plays with the point that just because you have been told that something is unbreakable all of your life doesn’t mean that things can’t change. The POV changes from character to character in the different chapters was incredibly smooth. I thought that it was really easy to know whose head you were in at the time, without the constant reminder. I think we are getting to the point were there specific character growth for the characters that still require it, not that I think Quinn is done with the characters that don’t seem to need it, but you can tell from reading that theses characters are confident in who they are. Note: This is also book 21, these characters have been through a lot, but that is also life. Won’t name who, but a character in the series gets to almost take a sort of memory lane moment in the book, and it was fun to be reminded about what the characters have all been though. Wow. I really enjoyed the book, except the cliffhanger ending.
Jumping into another Quinn Loftis book feels like home. I've built a personal - and slightly scary, relationship with all of these characters she's created to the point where when they hurt, I feel it deep in my soul.
This book cut me to the core.
I was honoured to be selected to review an ARC copy of the 21st book in the Grey Wolves Series by Quinn Loftis.
Where do I start? Without spoilers, this book messed me up. I'm currently fighting a headache writing this from crying. But then, what Quinn book doesn't make me cry? The way QL wrote Tattered Bonds not only made you feel every emotion imaginable but also made you so curious for how she will continue the series. My heart is broken for both Jewel and Dalton. They've been through so much as we saw from QL's previous books but to now have their relationship tested in this way is heartbroken. Once again, I admire what the mated bond is and how dedicated they are to one another.
*I still telling myself I will find a werewolf and form a mating bond one day LOL*
Just like all of QL's books, I cannot wait for the next one and will definitely make sure I have some painkillers, chocolate (or cotton candy if you know what I mean), and tissues on standby.
Amazing work as always Quinn, another book to add to my list of "Books that utterly f-ed me up"
First, I would love to thank Quinn Loftis for selecting me as one of the ARC readers and for creating this wonderful world that I have fallen in love with. Second, I am struggling to find the words to truly capture how much I love this book...so I shall try my best.
I have followed this series since the first book came out and this book has rocked me to my core! For new fans, this is not the book to start with but absolutely makes the series worth starting! Tattered Bonds is on the dark and emotionally tense side, but Quinn perfectly balances it with the humor the series has always had! This book truly reached me in a real-life way as so much of the emotions connect to real life and the struggles we must face. It shows the bonds between friends and family and how to be there for a loved one in need when they stray from the light. As much as the book ripped me to shreds, I beyond loved it and felt it was the book we needed next. The ending leaves so much open for the future of the series and I need the next book yesterday!
I have loved every book of Quinn's, but this one may be my favorite. Each book in this series will reach you emotionally but this book...this book will rip your heart out in the most wonderful way possible. The whole Grey Wolf and Gypsy Healer Series are must reads just so you can read and truly appreciate the amazingness of Tattered Bonds.
Well I'm going to tell you why I love Quinn's Grey Wolves and Gypsy Healer series so much. She puts God's wisdom into words from the Great Luna in her books and if you don't think that it won't hit home, just read them and find out. Because those words seem so powerful that they will make you cry. It's alright to cry cause we all do it for various reasons. Now the friendship bonds that they all form when they meet new pack members are so profound that it makes you feel like you are part of the pack, guess what? YOU ARE PACK!!!! Huh, didn't think about that did you? lol And hey, don't forget about our very own PACK ALPHAS!!! Quinn is our female leader and Bo is our male leader! Quinn is a wonderful author! She knows how to get you hooked on her books with her emotional rollercoasters! I did tell her at one point that I thought that she puts her own emotions into the books, and she comes back and says "good observation"! Now for the best/worst part....CLIFFHANGERS!!! Quinn loves to leave all her readers hanging!!! What's going to happen next no one knows! Seriously???? But that's how it rolls and it still throws some of us pack members into a tizzy, frenzy, shaking for our next fix like a thirsty Jen waiting for her next beheading....lol. But we still love our great leader, Quinn, with our whole heart. NOW GO READ HER BOOKS!!!! FOR THE PACK!!!!
Quinn Loftis has a unique ability to weave captivating tales, and while I adore all her books, Tattered Bonds presented a particularly challenging read for me. The story is steeped in darkness, oozing an intensity that often left me breathless. I couldn't shake the feeling that Quinn had conjured some witch magic to pull us deep into the emotional turmoil of the characters. As I read, I often found myself wanting to scream, “Will they ever get a break?!” The stakes are higher than ever, and the tension is palpable. Yet, amidst this heavy atmosphere, the introduction of new characters brought a refreshing dynamic to the story. I particularly enjoyed how the healers and various supernatural beings began to integrate with the wolves. It sets the stage for exciting developments in future books, and I’m eager to see how these relationships evolve. One of my favorite aspects was the development of the children's characters. Their growth provided a much-needed glimmer of hope within the darkness, and I can't emphasize enough how much I want to see more of this in the upcoming books. Overall, while Tattered Bonds left me reeling and yearning for light amid the shadows, it solidified my love for Loftis's storytelling. I need the next book now—I'm ready for more twists and turns, but please, let there be a little more light!
I’m still struggling to get all of my thoughts and feelings together, but let’s give it a shot. I’ll start by saying that I’ve read this series more times than I can count. There have been so many emotions throughout all of them, but this one, hit a little different.
When one you love, becomes lost to you, you’ll do whatever you can to guide them back. However, when that person is determined to only see their way, that makes guiding them back a lot more difficult. You end up feeling hopeless, sad, angry, and every emotion in between because you don’t know what to do. Does the power of love hold enough to bring things back to the way they were? Is the presence and help of your pack enough to help you get through a tumultuous situation?
What do you do when you find yourself lost? Find yourself separated from almost everyone important to you? How do you navigate an unforeseen situation, in unfamiliar territory, without all of the ones you love?
What happens when we let others influence and our own one minded thoughts. How does one’s selfishness affect everyone that loves them?
A definite must read… I can’t wait to read it again, and am even more excited for the next book! Quinn has a way of keeping you on your toes whilst reading her books and always wanting more!!
I love this series and the characters! Except for the evil ones. Every book in this series is better than the last but some of them do leave you gutted, like this one. It seems that every obstacle the gypsy healers go through, one rises above it but then another takes her place.
This time, Jewel and Dalton are the ones that this book focuses on. And what an obstacle it is. They face a difficult task when Jewel hides what she does. She won't talk to her mate, Dalton, about what she's doing and it's driving Dalton and his wolf crazy. Plus, she shuts down the bond so he can't feel what she's feeling.
It seems every time one evil is defeated, another evil has to be faced. Celise, an evil sprite, has the Nushtonia, book of the dead. She will use it to gain more dark magic and have her sisters rise from the dead. But she also wants Peri to pay for her sisters' deaths. She will stop at nothing to get Peri to suffer. That's where Jewel comes in but Jewel's ignorance is costly. No matter what Jewel has done, the pack is with her and by her side, including Dalton.
This book will make you laugh, cry and get angry..so be ready to feel all the feels again with the next chapter of the Grey Wolves' lives.
I really enjoyed this book and thought that it was another good addition to Quinn’s Grey Wolves Series. This book follows on from the events of the last book, The Forbidden Bond. Man, this book will put you and all the characters that we’ve gotten to know and love throughout this amazing series through the wringer. During this book the wheelers and their mates from the Gypsy Healers Series and all the characters from this series are all working together to fight the latest evil that’s trying to takeover the human world, even when things get hard “the Pack” keeps on fighting.
I loved seeing how much Fane, Jacque, Jen and Sally have grown since book 1. Man, Vasile and Alina must be so proud of what an amazing leader Fane has become. I still miss them greatly. The Great Luna definitely knew what she was doing appointing Fane the Alpha of Alpha’s. I really don’t know how Quinn has written so many books in this universe and still keep them so interesting. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series when it’s released, and after the way this book ended I hope that Quinn doesn’t keep up waiting too long. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.
First thing you should know about this book is when you get to the end you will be demanding more! This book deals with so many things we go through on a daily basis and proves over and over again that you can handle anything life throws at you as long as you have your pack (people who love you know matter what you do) Quinn Loftis does a great job handling the characters despite the fact that there are so many! No character is left out and she still manages to give you deep insight to each one without letting the storyline faulter. This is a fast paced book with many things going on at once. Once you start reading you will struggle to put it down. (Just one more chapter...) The pack has fought one evil after another since Prince of Wolves began. This book is a little different in the sense that yes that are fighting a villain but most of the battle is done within the characters themselves but just like when they fight evil villains the ever growing pack fights together and refuses to lose any member even to themselves. Through the struggle and tears there is so much humor and love in this book! Also there is so many uplifting words that any of us could and should use in our own lives. Honestly this is one of the most passionate books I have ever read in my life!
To start off, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Quinn and the team for allowing me to be an arc reader. It is greatly appreciated!
Wow! wow! Did I mention wow? I have said this before but I feel as though I need to repeat myself. Quinn is phenomenal with words and expressing how deeply the characters feel each emotion. Love, happiness, grief, sadness, and despair. Each emotion is shown throughout Tattered Bonds.
Book 21 is all about our beloved characters coming all together to conquer their enemies. Characters from both The Grey Wolves series as well as The Gypsy Healer series. Everyone is worrying and planning how to defeat Cain, his hybrids, along side the evil sprite, Celise. Throughout the book, you’ll experience the deep emotion and frustrations the characters feel. You’ll want to smack some sense into some of the characters just because we all care for them and want what’s best for them. But, of course, they will eventually learn from their mistakes. The ending of the book was bitter sweet because it leaves you wanting more but leaves you with the satisfaction of knowing what has happened. Cannot wait for book 22!! Quinn yet another job well done!
Where do I start with this newest novel in The Grey Wolves Series?? I think I have to start with: this isn’t a stand alone book. Go grab the others and read them first, then RUN to this one! This book is a darker read than all of the other novels. I could NOT put it down! It’s deliciously intense. I was left sitting with my mouth wide open, gasping for air! If you’ve read the other books in this series, rest assured, all the same wit and banter is there. We get to spend time with all of our favorites. One aspect is missing, though. The Great Luna isn’t as prominent in this book. There’s a darkness that makes you long for her light. Our favorite trio of BFFs are really in trouble this time and our fav Fae ever, Peri, is equally as screwed. How will they get out of this latest predicament?? I cannot WAIT for the next book!! Quinn hit it out of the park with this one. This newest book is my favorite of the entire series. Now, stop reading reviews and go grab this book!! You won’t regret it.
I was lucky enough to be chosen as an ARC reviewer for Tattered Bonds. As part of my favorite book series by my favorite author Tattered Bonds takes us down a dark path that most of the other books does not. Which I am 100 percent ok with. Sometimes a little darkness makes the light shine brighter. This book deals with the inner demons we all face in one way or another and how having a pack is beneficial in every way. Sometimes we forget that there are others who will stand by our side even when we make absurdly stupid choices. If you have not started this series yet or are on the fence about it start with book 1 and see if this Grey Wolves world is one you want to get immersed in. Tattered Bonds is not a stand alone read because each character has a history in the previous books that help the story. Quinn writes books that make you want to scream, cry , yell and throw things but at the same time you must continue reading for your own sanity. Thanks again Quinn for another awesome read and Hurry up with book 22 PLEASE!!!!!
Quinn has done it again. Another absolutely incredible book. Quinn’s writing mixes world building, that truly is the best in fantasy books I have ever read, with real reminders about life. Every book leaves you wanting more. Waiting with bated breath for the next release in the series. I love this book series, and you will too. If you’re new to the Grey Wolves Series, do yourself a favor and go grab the Prince of Wolves. Starting this book series will be the most fantastic reading journey you’ve ever had. If you’re all caught up and ready to read book 21, Tattered Bonds is another fantastic addition to the series that you won’t be able to put down. All of our favorite characters are back together and ready to make you laugh, cry and everything in between. I have been hooked on these books, these characters and the GWS world since 2013. Tattered Bonds does these characters justice & I cannot wait for book 22!
Where do I start? As a loyal Quinn Loftis and Grey Wolves fan, I'm shaken. This book still has the laughter, tears, seriousness, and fun moments of the others in this series, BUT it is different. Not bad different, just different. It's a great read but not for first-time readers. In other words, you need to read more in the series before this one. It is NOT a standalone. For us diehard followers, this book answers some questions, gives us new questions, and also lets us see ALL of the characters, not just a select few. It takes you to the depths of despair and then gives you a glimmer of hope for the future. Characters we love are back and growing, evil we hate is back and growing, drama abounds...all surrounded with some laughs and some tears and that famous bantering we've all come to love and expect. Anxiously awaiting the next book cause my FOR THE PACK is ringing in my head and heart!
I had the privilege of being an ARC reader for this book. I’ve been reading Quinn’s books for about 5-6 years now and have to say this one blew me away. A lot of us followers have come to love the ladies and their wolves along with the fae, elves, warlocks, djinn and other supernatural species in this series. She has shocked us all with the turn she takes in this book. I know I was sitting on the edge of my seat like what the heck Is going on!!! I went from being happy, to angry, to sad then back to angry again for how some of the lives are being twisted in this book but I could not put it down.
If you’ve been following Quinn all along I promise you, you won’t be disappointed reading this but…. if you’re new please start at the beginning with Prince of Wolves so you can learn why things have gone the way they have. You will want to be fighting right along side of all them ready to take evil out.
I just want to say that I was so lucky to be able to read this book as an arc reader and wow. I am so used to Quinn writing about a troubled experience and then using humor and camaraderie to be able to weave through the trauma. These characters have been through so much. And this book really shows that. It is a different vibe from her previous ones but I think that is what makes it better. Don’t get me wrong I love a good easy no conflict read. But this book is not that. It does leave your heart hurting but with the hope that things will get better!
The hybrids are crazier than ever and I don’t know what Cain was thinking. And then add in Celise to the mix and wow. Sometimes I wonder how strong our hero’s can be. But as they say everything is FOR THE PACK!
Please take the time to read. Be prepared to have you heart hurting but be prepared to continue to turn page after page. Book 21 truly came with a bang!
I had the privilege of being one of the ARC readers. I love this series and I’ve been reading it for years and Quinn outdid herself with this book. I feel like the title Tattered Bonds is a fitting name for book 21 of GWS. The characters used the bonds they all have with one another to lean on each other. While they did have some trouble with communication but they ultimately learned that there is consequences that come along with the choices that they make. There’s many old and new characters that show up. Lots of growth, bonding, and forgiving in all of the characters. Also all of the storyline and characters from the past books all come together into this amazing book. Quinn outdid herself with this book, please read it!! So much learning in the GWS!! And thank you for the opportunity to be a ARC reader!!
Well what can I say but the marvelous thing about Quinn is that the extraordinary woman can write a story that captures your attention right from the start. This book is a continuation of her other Grey Wolves series not a stand alone. It leaves you crying and laughing all at the same time. Never underestimate that Quinn will ever disappoint. There are characters that you want to see fail and the ones that you want to see win. You will be here for it all. She places you in the story from the start. I have to say that Quinn always leaves you wanting more of the story and you are never disappointed. This book is one that explores the darker side so beware. If you want a lifetime of memories and love that takes over your whole world come take a walk with Quinn's Grey Wolves series we welcome all newcomer's.
