Read as a standalone but missed the backstory

I really enjoyed reading about Spike and Ciara, but I feel like I really missed their backstory, which is totally on me coming in on the 6th book.

They were madly, totally, obsessively in love with each other, which I adore in books, but they already have 2 kids and their love story is well and truly cemented.

A motorcycle club series, which I will definitely be adding to my tbr. The ending had me wanting to push on and get the next book, for sure.

I did love the book, the writing and the characters, the rating is way more a reflection on me coming into a series on the 6th book.

Spike by Bella Jewel, is the sixth book in The MC Sinners Series, Ciara is beautiful, strong, independent and loves her family, but the time has come for her to return to her dream of studying nursing, but she will only be away from home for two days, and although it will be difficult, she knows that it's the best for her and for Spike and the children. Spike is our beloved temperamental biker, now with the change of leadership of the MC, although he has some respect, he feels that his Pres is not doing what he should to get rid of the garbage, so he has embarked on a crusade to do it himself. At the moment Ciara starts studying he is being somewhat careless with what he does so she asks him to take care of himself. Ciara little by little begins to adapt to her classes and although she struggles a little with the distance from her children and Spike, she will continue forward. But these two still have a lot to overcome when Spike ends up in serious trouble that could cost him not only his legacy in the MC but also his family. But we know that Spike doesn't handle feelings very well and instead of approaching Ciara to lean on her, he ends up pushing her away and causing her more harm. At the same time Ciara faces a tough situation at college and when everyone seems to blame her, she is going to do what is necessary to clear her name, only this will lead her to put herself in danger when she trusts the wrong person who, without imagining it, comes after her in search of revenge.
This story was simply explosive, with drama, action, suspense, angst and of course a lot of sensuality, passion and love, along with the characters who have won our hearts, the author brings us this new story that will captivate you from the moment you start reading it. For me it was simply incredible and those unexpected twists were the icing on the cake. But I already want the hunt for the culprit with Jackson seeking to clear his wife's name. Ugh, that one promises to be even more explosive. Totally, and Absolutely Highly Recommended!

Spike de Bella Jewel, es el sexto libro de la Serie The MC Sinners, Ciara es hermosa, fuerte, independiente y ama a su familia, pero ha llegado el momento que retome su sueño de estudiar enfermería, pero solo se alejara de casa por dos días, y aunque será difícil sabe que es lo mejor para ella y para Spike y los niños. Spike es nuestro querido motero temperamental, ahora con el cambio de liderazgo del MC, aunque tiene cierto respeto siente que su Pres no está haciendo lo que debería para librarse de la basura, por lo que ha emprendido una cruzada para hacerlo el mismo. En el momento que Ciara comienza a estudiar él esta siendo algo descuidado con lo que hace por lo que ella le pide que se cuide. Ciara poco a poco se comienza a adaptar a sus clases y aunque batalla un poco con la distancia de sus hijos y de Spike ella seguirá adelante. Pero estos dos aún tiene muchas cosas que superar cuando Spike termine metido en un serio problema que puede costarle no solo su legado en el MC sino también su familia. Pero sabemos que Spike no maneja muy bien los sentimientos y en vez de acercarse a Ciara para apoyarse en ella termina alejándola y causándole mas daño. Al mismo tiempo Ciara se enfrenta a una dura situación en la universidad y cuando todo el mundo parece culparla ella va a hacer lo necesario para limpiar su nombre, solo que esto la llevara a ponerse en peligro cuando confié en la persona equivocada que sin imaginarlo viene tras ella en busca de venganza.
Esta historia fue sencillamente explosiva, con drama, acción, suspenso, angustia y por supuesto mucha sensualidad, pasión y amor, junto a los personajes que se han ganado nuestros corazones la autora nos trae esta nueva historia que te atrapará desde que comiences a leerla. Para mí fue sencillamente increíble y esos giros inesperados, la guinda del pastel. Pero ya quiero la cacería del culpable con Jackson buscando limpiar el nombre de su mujer. Uff esa promete ser aún mas explosiva. ¡Total, y Absolutamente Altamente Recomendada!

Sensational !!

I can’t tell you enough how much I love these characters. I was so excited when Bella Jewel announced she was doing these stories. Spike and Ciara’s story takes you on an awesome ride. I was totally blown away and didn’t want it to end.

Spike and Ciara find themselves in some difficult situations and my heart breaks for them. Of Course the club and there ladies are right there with them. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to find out how this all plays out.

I’m counting the days till Jaxson’s book!!

Totally fantastic

OMG talk about a good freaking book!
It's been a while since I've read a book I literally did not want to put down. I've always loved this series. Each book brings something special. This one I do believe is my favorite ( for now 😀). There is so much good stuff packed into this book! Lots loving going on, drama, excitement. Just a freaking - fantastic story and I love reading about all the characters, Cade, Muff , Jackson and we can't forget about the ole ladies!! Five stars for sure!! Definitely worth the read!!

Spike

Excellent read. I absolutely loved Spike and Ciara’s story ❤️❤️❤️ Poor Spike was losing it, he didn’t like having no control over outcomes but he’d pushed things to far. The evil in this book has a diabolical mind and out thinks everyone. Can’t wait for the next book to find out how they bring him down. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

Have to say I expected a lot of Spike but seeing what he is going through definitely surprised me.In many way Spike has gone through alot but it takes his lady to make him see how right his life really is. Ciara by all means is perfect for him in every way yet is a breath of fresh air. She is unlike the other Club ladies yet in many ways she is the strongest of them all. Seeing her with Spike we see a side of him no one see's, ex Club president, husband, father and yet to many he is a stranger in his ways. Not only is Spike dealing with things but someone is after Ciara. Here is a young girl who just wants to experience College life is a still a club girl all the way. Two people who love each other so much yet life has a way of turning everything upside down. Seeing the Club go this far and Bella Jewel making Spike think of all the things that the Club has gone through is mind boggling. Spike is definitely a man who feels like everything he thought was possible in the Club is going wrong yet Bella Jewel makes us see two different sides of Spike. Ciara is one tough woman and seeing her go through with Spike is tough yet totally needed to be said. Cannot wait to see the next MC and what Bella Jewel will do with them.

Fun book to read! Filled with tons of heat, angst and danger. I figured the whole done it rather quickly which is a little disappointing, but the female power was a bit redeeming. I cannot wait for the next book to get me over the cliffer that this book left me with. Over all it was exactly what I was expecting this book to be and steam filled alpha male book.

I truly appreciate the ARC, but unfortunately, this story just wasn’t for me. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I had hoped. However, it might be perfect for someone else, so don’t let my singular opinion deter you from picking it up. You may find something in it that resonates with you.

Okay so this book was good but its a cliffhanger or whatever they want to call it. You will have to read the next book to find out what happens. I would have waited for the next book before reading this one.

Spike by Bella Jewel is the 6th book in the MC Sinners series, which falls under the genre of MC (Motorcycle Club) romance. The novel continues the gritty, adrenaline-fueled romance.
Ciara and Spike. Ciara is a woman with a dark past, haunted by personal tragedy and an estranged family. She’s tough, guarded, and deeply broken, but she’s not afraid to stand up for herself. Spike, on the other hand, is a typical bad boy from the MC world. He’s brooding, dominant, and riddled with his own emotional baggage.
As their paths cross, an undeniable chemistry ignites between them, but it's not without complications. Ciara is strong-willed, and Spike is torn between his biker lifestyle and protecting those he cares about. The tension between them builds through passionate encounters, misunderstandings, and danger, keeping the reader on edge.
Bella Jewel crafts complex characters in Spike, especially with Ciara. Her character is gritty and independent, and her journey is one of healing and self-acceptance. Spike, while fitting the "alpha male" archetype, is also given more depth than expected. His internal conflicts and vulnerabilities make him more than just a tough guy on a bike.
I did find some parts predictable (the baddie) in this novel but the plot twist of how bad they were surprised me. I really enjoyed the romance and spice between Spike and Ciara.
This book sets a good ending for the next book coming out later in the year. Overall it was a good read and I enjoyed it.

This books was really good, there was twist I definitely wasn’t expecting, there was a moment I did see coming, but it took me a bit into the plot. Bella has a way of expertly blending sizzling romance, heart-pounding suspense and raw emotions into the perfect storm. The twist & turns, the absolute jaw-dropping moments were just that! The chemistry between Spike & Ciara is off the charts and can be felt radiating off the pages. I was pacing my room, I couldn’t put this down. I now have to go back and read the others in this MC Sinner series, cause I neeeeed to know what I missed out on! These men are VERY protective and down for their women and the family they’ve built.

I loved reading this book. It was a great book to read in one sitting. Spike and Ciara have one heck of a smoking hot relationship. These two are pure fire with not a change of being extinguished. These two are a perfect match for each other. However, it wouldn't be a Bella Jewel book if you didn't have something in it that put you right on the edge of your seat. There are things that go on in this book that you will never see coming. I don't want to say a thing about what it is because I think you need to go into it blind so you have not a clue what is going to be coming your way. Just grab this book, buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Spike's stubborn nature remains unchanged, and his fierce protectiveness over Ciara is unwavering. It's satisfying to see that Addison continues to be a thorn in Spike's side. Spike is on a mission to rid the world of scum bags. With two children now, he is determined to provide a better future for them. Ciara's pursuit of a nursing career takes her away from Spike and their children. While he is supportive of her aspirations, Spike struggles with the distance it creates, a conflict arising from his protective nature. He doesn’t like her being where he can’t protect or watch her.

This is the 6th book in this phenomenal series, and this is Spike and Ciara’s journey.
Spike is spiraling due to his dark and turbulent past, and is battling his demons, while Ciara is fierce and determined, and is battling her own demons after a girl is murdered at the college she attends 2-nights a week, and she starts to receive threatening notes.
No spoilers, this is a story which is a must read!
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, which is raw, gritty, and intense, with friendships, secrets, lies, betrayal, drama, danger, suspense, intrigue, vengeance, tension, mystery, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, haunting, twisted, and unpredictable, thrilling page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Big Page Turner

This book was packed full of steam and suspense which made it a book that I couldn’t put down. The who-done-it had me guessing throughout and the chemistry between Spike and Ciara was sizzling. Just how much could their relationship withstand with Spike going rouge within the club and Ciara trying to follow her dreams.

I loved the strong woman that Ciara was and the fierce protectiveness that Spike had for his woman. The twists and turns in this book was a huge page turner. I highly recommend this book.

Spike and Ciara I loved reading more od their story and their love is as strong as ever. But they had several hurdles to overcome to finally get their peaceful hea.
This does end in a cliffhanger and will be finished out IN JACKSONS BOOK next.

I thought the book would be predictable. But then, BAM! We get a plot twist. I knew who the bad guy was, I just didn't know how bad he was. It's what made this book easy to read but still interesting. You still get lots of action, plotting, and great sexy times. Plus, the club gained some new helpful friends, and it never waivers on showing how a loyal family should behave. This book leaves you on edge, setting the next one to be a sweet (no doubt violent) justice wrapped up like a Christmas gift with a big bow on top. Can't wait!

This was my first read from this author. This was a really good story. I loved the characters. I really enjoyed the story being told in the first person, which is a deal breaker for me. Totally recommend this one. I read it in one sitting. I will be reading more from this author in the future.

Wow, what a wild ride! I have read the other novels in this series and loved them. This novel did not disappoint. From the first chapter this novel captured my attention and I had to hold on tight. This novel kept me on the edge of my seat, I was never sure what was coming next. I loved Spike and Ciara's story. Their chemistry was so good. I loved watching them work thru all that was coming their way and fall in love. This novel took me on such a wild ride. Once I started reading I didn't want to put it down because I needed to know what was coming next. I can hardly wait to see what is coming next in this series after the ending of this novel.

The intrigue and suspense had me on pins and needles wondering what would happen next. It’s a roller coaster ride of secrets, lies, emotions, drama, danger and mystery. It’s an entertaining, twisted page turner. Now I’m ready to read Jackson’s story!

Absolutely loved Spike and Ciara. Just as she's trying to make more out of herself and go back to nursing school. Her life turns upside down, Spike is spiraling and there's someone who wants to hurt her. This read has everything i love in a book, there's mystery, and a curve I definitely wasn't expecting at all, some steamy scenes and of course the alpha MC men. Loving these guys the more I read about them, that little cliffy at the end was unexpected and I can't wait to see what happens.
