This one was so much fun. I love their story and the ending was just amazing. I can't wait to read the next book when it comes out.

I have read all ciaras books and I do have to wonder if some dialogue is just copied and pasted. For example where jauhnna, awful name by the way, states she'll leave and wouldn't stand being used by men at the beginning of the book. I bet the same dialogue has appeared in 50% of the books. It's all starting to feel like is the same book but maybe in a different order.

UPDATED: FINISHED FINALLY! not worth the read - I raised it to 2* from 1 cause the ending, along with the epilogue, made me laugh - it wasn't supposed to. OTT violence & torture and just general eye rolling
I'm going to try this author out because this book's free on KU; I really don't have much hope, esp when it seems this is another author who scrubs her reviews, so basically only 4&5 stars! Hopefully this book lives up to those reviews, but doubtful - I'm already pissed at the stupidity of the FL - written as someone raped repeatedly by her ex-husband & we find out, he allowed a few of his buddies to do the same, but somehow it took her 10 years to figure out how to escape! She's been hiding out for about 3 yrs now, with no dates and no friends. She meets the ML and all of a sudden she starts to freak out on him - screaming & threatening him as if he's like her ex - but never stood up to her ex; however, found her inner strength with the prez of a biker club (who, of course, is a sad widower who hasn't had any club girls in a while, and immediately falls in love with this headcase). I understand she was traumatized, but for 3 yrs she was ok? Or was she screaming and threatening every man she encountered? TOO OTT! Not to mention absolutely absurd.
I'm almost done with this snooze fest. I'll say that the sex scenes were pretty good and some of the story was ok, while most of it was stupid as shit - ex: the scene where the prez's daughter "fools" them. jeez, just everything seems to be so farfetched! OK, going to finish this finally and maybe the ending is better and I'll give it more stars cause right now I'm at 1 ...

This is the start of a brand new series and i have to say i can’t wait for this series to continue. The characters seem to be made for each other, they are both scared from past trouble, but are soon their love is growing and they are meant to be together.
Diablo wasn’t looking for anything, but fate has a way of shaking up life for people, by this i mean by him finding Serenity(Jauhnna). He will do anything for her,including fighting her demons.
Jauhnna is running for her life when she is taken and left for dead, but her knight on an iron horse came to her rescue and saved her. Along the way he fought her demons and showed her that she can and does deserve love and affection.
Together with the Horsemen of Wrath, they make her safe again and their future is bright and filled with love and laughter.

I loved this one, but a huge amount of mistakes in it sadly.
I really don’t want to put anything negative as I did seriously love this book, but…… I just can’t ignore some of the glaring mistakes. It’s worse at the beginning of the book bizarrely, and does get a lot better.
Diablo is the president of the Horsemen of Wrath Mc. When he was a young man in his twenties his wife was brutally murdered, leaving him to bring up his daughter on his own. Over the years he’s never wanted a relationship but he’s starting to feel like something is missing from his life. He’s now 47 and he’s lonely. When the club is out for a ride one day they find Jauhnna at the side of the road. She’s been beaten and has severe heatstroke. This is where it lost me.
They decide to take a nearly dead woman who has TWO major head wounds and severe heatstroke back to the club!!! Not the hospital!!!😱😱😱 After Jauhnna has sort of been treat treated for heatstroke, Diablo, and two of his men decide to question her. BRUTALLY QUESTION HER! 😡😡 WITHOUT TREATING HER HEAD WOUNDS! As she tells Diablo that she’s running from her psychotic husband who beat and abused her, Diablo asks her if she ran off after A LOVERS TIFF!! Are you freaking kidding me???? 😡 A woman is in front of him after being badly beaten and nearly dying, and he asks was it a lovers tiff! Apparently Jauhnna is perfectly fine when she wakes up. I’ve had heatstroke and it was awful. I couldn’t stop being sick, and passing out. I certainly wasn’t running around perfectly fine.
Eventually Diablo takes her back to his house STILL NOT TREATING HER HEAD WOUNDS! and they somehow fall in love. No clue how as Diablo comes across as a right d*ck at first. As the book goes on I did fall in love with him but it was a hard slog at first to carry on reading it. As her husband is still a major threat to her and is looking for her, Jauhnna has to stay in the club grounds for her protection.
It does get really good nearer the end, but yet again no counselling for a severely traumatised woman. 😡😡😡 As it’s the first book in the series, it would have been great if we could have been introduced to all the members and the prospects.

This was quite the first meeting. You know that the guys would step in to help when they realized what was going on. I hated that Jauhnna had been so screwed over in life, that she had a hard time believing that the guys wanted to help her, hated how she jumped to the worst conclusion. It took time, but they did win her over by doing what they said and never once threatening her.
It was interesting to see Jauhnna and Diablo dance around their attraction at first, but once they were all in, they were all in. Everyone seemed to back them in the club. Now Brooklyn...she was a different story. I was all set to hate her, until she spoke what she was really doing, which then ended up being good. It was nice to see the two women getting along and later teaming up against Diablo.
So glad to see this threat against Jauhnna dealt with. It might have been brutal, but was just what needed to be done.
Loved the ending, loved seeing so much happiness with the new couple!

A journey to love wrapped in mystery, danger and healing
Diablo and Jauhnna, the main characters featured in the first book of Ciara St James new series, Horsemen of Wrath, take the read on quite the journey that's not for the faint of heart. In Diablo's Vengeance, he discovers several things at once; he does have the capacity to love again, Jauhnna is the spark for this discovery, and he'll do anything to keep her safe, then make sure she stays that way.
This later in life love story checks all the alpha MC romance boxes. Diablo is no exception. He might even be more protective since he's also the club president and survived the loss of an earlier love. Jauhnna, on the other hand, is still young, is under many impressions that turn out to be lies and in constant fear.
As these characters navigate the intricacies of Jauhnna's dire situation, she heals physically while Diablo's steady presence, support and love help her heal her heart too.
Overall, this suspenseful MC romance will keep you on your toes and have you clammoring for justice for Jauhnna's sake and the second chance at love for both of them is as sweet and satisfying as it is steamy and sensual. And the HEA? Oh my, just wait until you learn all about the surprise!

Diablo Is Finally Here!
Ciara St James Thank you so much for giving Diablo his own book so his story gets told. After he & his HOW MC made their first appearance in Torch's book from DFAW when his daughter Brooklyn fell in love & married Torch. A part of Diablo's heart breaking past
about his wife Amy Brooklyn's mom was revealed too in that book. Also revealed in later books Diablo & his MC made appearances in was that Brooklyn also had 2 sons & Diablo became a Grandpa too.
I've always wondered when Diablo would get his own book to have his story told & was so excited to get to not only know more about Diablo but his HOW MC brothers too. And this book like all previous books did deserve 5 stars in my reviews for another well written action packed storyline that was well overdue in my opinion lol but so grateful it's finally here! Diablo also fell so hard & fast when he met his soulmate Jauhnna whose own past was heart breaking too but in the end these 2 got their HEA. And I also loved getting to know all the HOW mc brothers & can't wait for their stories to come too.

We have been waiting for Diablo's book and it was everything I hoped for! He is feeling out of sorts so the MC goes on a long ride. Seeing an abandoned car on their way out, he takes note but sets out to enjoy his day. When they return, the car is still there, which seems odd. When a delicate piece of fabric sticking out of the trunk catches his eye, he has to investigate. When they open the lid, a woman covered in blood and unconscious is revealed. Drawn to the beauty, he has to deal with his guilt, battling his own demons while taking on hers. What a ride, these two are so perfect for each other! A tale full of love, danger, redemption, second chances and most of all, family. This was a great start to a new series and I can't wait to see what CSJ dreams up next for the men of the Horsemen of Wrath!

Another 5 star book!
Really I wish I could each one of Ciara's books ten stars! She is brilliant storyteller and this book was no exception. Diablo and Jauhnna are the focus of this book and it is very steamy. He and the club rescued her after finding her near death in the trunk of a car. They nursed her back to health and discovered she had a threat against her from her past. The club and some of their ally clubs were going to remove that threat so she could live the life she dreamed of. For Diablo seeing her gave him a case of insta-love but he had to work to get her to agree to giving their relationship a chance. The road toward their happily ever after was a bumpy one. But they do reach their destination. All I can say is I am enjoying reading her books and I highly recommend them.

Jaunhnna and Diablo's story
This story isn't for the faint hearted so be aware when you read. A couple of chapters near the end detail Diablo's vengeance. Otherwise is a story about Jaunhnna who is found by Diablo and the rest of the horseman. It's actually quite hard not to give away any spoilers but Jaunhnna has had an horrific last decade and deserves some kindnesses. She gets it from Diablo who moved into protector mode almost immediately.
Jaunhnna is a strong character and she's backed up by Brooklyn, Diablo's daughter who makes several appearances the book as well as some of the Dark Patriots.

Fabulous start for this series!
I loved this book! I hoped that Diablo would get his own book, but that it’s also the start of a new series is AWESOME! I think that this heroine was perfect for him! She is strong and resilient, despite her heartbreaking past. I really loved the heartwarming interactions with his grandchildren! OMG!
I have read a few of the different series from this author and I love how they are intertwined. If you’re interested in reading more, I would recommend starting from the beginning with Terror’s Temptress.
I loved this book! I hoped that Diablo would get his own book, but that it’s also the start of a new series is AWESOME! I think that this heroine was perfect for him! Amazing start to a new series!!
I've been patiently waiting for Diablo's book, and it didn't disappoint it was so good. Diablo thought he was content to live out his life alone after his wife was murdered but boy, was he wrong he just had to wait for the love of his life to grow up, lol!! Jauhnna came into Diablo's life when he least expected it, and did she ever change his world in the most amazing ways. I loved this book it was just great. I can't wait to watch the rest of the guys fall!

Awesome story to start Horsemen of Wrath!
Ciara St James is a amazing storyteller, Diablo's Vengeance does not disappoint. Diablo is a worthy hero and champion to his Serenity. We have a action packed story with a few cameos from our favorite MC's Dark Patriots and Dublin Falls Archangels. Fore warning this book contains very graphic descriptions of torture and death but is needed to propel story and characters introspection. Truly overall it is a beautiful tale of love and acceptance. Hot off the press, Awesome story, great read.

loving this new series!
I am so glad that I discovered Ciara St James!! She has quickly turned into one my favorite authors, and Diablo’s Vengeance was *chef’s kiss* perfect!! I can’t wait for the rest of the series! The chemistry between Diablo & Jauhnna is amazing, along with her chemistry with the rest of the MC & Diablo’s daughter Brooklyn.
And the 🔥🔥 factor is AWESOME lol. If you love hard headed, good hearted MC guys, this is the series - and the author - for you!! Run, don’t walk, to read this!! Trust me - you’ll fall in love.

Second chance romance

Absolutely perfect!!!
I have been dying to read this book but I was in the middle of a series when it came out. OMG it was so worth the wait. I love a good age gap story. After what happened to Amy, I always hoped Diablo would find love again. After hearing his story back when I was reading about Torch, Brooklyn and the others. This was a beautiful love story from beginning to end. I hope the next book can come close to this one. I look forward to reading this series and can't wait for the next one to be released!!

I really liked this book...
So, it was better than I expected, though a little long. I loved Diablo. Even though he was an alpha through and through, he was magnificent with Jauhnna. He was patient and loving. There was only one part where Jauhnna kind of ticked me off a little, and that's when she reamed into Diablo, which he didn't deserve at all. Other than that, she was one strong FMC. Additionally, the story was good, though it could have shorter. Nonetheless, it's a good read.

Diablo said it best while delivering justice to those who hurt his Serenity. "She's worth everything to me." Juahnna becomes his entire world he loves his club. He will do anything for his daughter and grandchildren but now there's a new queen in St Augastine and she reigns over the Horseman of Wrath compound by being the sister/friend the members didn't know they needed!

LOVED IT!
I don't quite remember when I first started reading Ms Ciara🤔 I believe I was introduced to one of her books through one of my favorite all time authors!? or the fact her name is my favorite perfume!😍It really doesn't matter because she's in my top 20 and everything she touches as far as I'm concerned is gold I always look forward to a release of hers no matter what series it's in!

Jushanna has been sold into marriage to an abusive rapist by her family. She escaped but was found and kidnapped. Diablo rescued her and their drama begins. Naturally they get their HEA but not until all of her problems are taken care of. Can’t wait for the next one in the series.

Almost Brilliant
I really enjoyed this book, great story, and the absolute best happily ever after. One thing that spoilt it being 5 stars is the fact that Diablo went from previous books as a man who'd loved his first wife to his own story where he constantly seemed to disparage his previous relationship to validate his current one. It is possible to have loved more than one person wholeheartedly. I mean, there was even a part where he compared their suffering. Who does that?

I've finally got my hands on Diablo's book, and it's everything I hoped for. The story is a gripping tale of love, danger, and redemption, with plenty of twists and turns. Absolutely loved the ending when he gets his vengeance for her as well as the surprise they both deserved. I've been wanting to read Diablo's story ever since hearing about his heartbreak in Torch and Brooklyn's book! It's a must-read for fans of the series.

If you want a book with love,miracles,danger,mystery and hot looking bikers then this book is for you. A second chance at love for Diablo when he finds his future old lady. new twist
Ciara has done it again with this new series. The older Diablo is a fresh addition for an MC. Add to that bringing in characters from some of her other series makes you feel right at home, since you probably already know some of the characters. Great move and I love the cover!

Great start to this MC series
I love when these guys pop up in the other books and couldn’t wait to see who got their Ol’Lady first. This is a great story with a sassy stubborn woman and a dominant man who really isn’t sure what he wants at first. And of course you have the evil that invades into their lives.

Ciara has done it again! A perfect beginning to the series! I can’t wait to see who is next and what kind of bada$$ old ladies appear! Second chances
Ciara St. James is the best. She gave us Diablo's the President of Horseman Wrath Mc and is mind blowing. Jauhnna was rescued by Diablo and his men . Her trusting ability was zero.
The story was sad but with happy results, the sexy was off the charts. Whoever said older men are not sexy or hot need a Diablo in their lives. Can't wait for next one
