Oh my! Oh wow! Hot and breathless!

STORY BRIEF:
David and Lissa are married and very much in love, but they are mismatched sexually. He’s a warm, sharing, loving vanilla-sex type of guy. Lissa wants bondage and pain. Richard and Adora are also married and in love with each other. The two couples accidentally meet at a restaurant, and find that they are attracted to each other.

REVIEWER’S OPINION:
What a wonderful talent! Well done sensuality and sexuality. At one point, I stopped, sighed and thought about David being so loving and sensual. Later there was a scene with David massaging her shoulders that had me melting. And then there was the wickedly wild sex with Richard which included a lot of bondage and pain. As I took a break from this book to do something else, I was panting, grinning and chuckling because I was so affected.

I read the paperback version of the book which I understand is the same as the Kindle version.

I bought Table for Four about two and a half years ago and really enjoyed it then. I have just reread it and the story remains fresh, informative and thoughtful. Plus the sex was pretty hot, even the parts that were vanilla.

This is a story of two very compatible couples that can't satisfy their partner sexually. The solution is to swap wives for sex. One mixed couple have full on BDSM sex, and the other enjoys vanilla.

I really like this book because it reveals and discusses how different people feel about sex, and what really turns them on. The contrast between the mixed couples is striking and enlightening.

I also like the idea that, just because sex doesn't work well between a couple, the relationship can continue to work really well if there is a satisfactory sexual outlet for the partners. I feel this thoughtful management of a couples sex relationship could save a lot of marriages with sexual problems from ending in divorce. While this story is a little fanciful, for me it evoked thoughtful reflection.

Another excellent book by this talented author.

I really liked this book and rated it a 3.5 stars--but bumped it up to a 4. I enjoyed the general story--2 couples are deeply in love with each other but have an unsatisfying sexual relationship. One couple has vanilla sex, but the wife longs for something more in the form of bondage and domination...she wants to be dominated. The other couple both perceive their sexual being as dominant--but are they both truly dominant or just think so? There is a lot of history that leads up to their own individual sexual realizations--which is what a lot of the story is about. it wasn't just sex, sex, sex.

Although so parts were rather hard to believe--like how the 2 couples meet. Like the lack of exploration that happens between the "vanilla" married couple and what the husband was willing to do with the other man's wife, but not his own--that part was kinda sad to me. Over all, I was pleasantly surprised with haw good the story really was.

the worst that can be in a book, is for it to be pointless, and this book wasn't pointless. there was something behind the story, and it was good, the other good thing was it being an easy read which can be done in one sitting basically.

the bad things tho - there was nothing to surprise you. like watching a porn movie in slow motion. you know that this guy is going to fuck that chick. period. zero expectations of anything. a robot could write the same story with zero efforts.

so yes, people who believe in that kind of relationships, and poly love, will agree with whatever was portrayed in it, and people who don't won't. so the book wasn't pointless, but the way it tried to reach the point was useless. so 2 stars...

Half way through, and still no action. Lots of talk about swapping wives with another couple so far. Melissa and David, Aroda and Richard. The swapping dates happened maybe twice, once half night, 2nd over night. 200 p. A bit disappointed at the slow pace, because I went with high expectations from Jane's 5 star review. Not a bad book, just not fast enough, and just a few actions. Richard's taste was good.
