Quiet, myth touched fiction where cafés become thresholds and love is expressed through choice, presence, and restraint.

Melody R. Green writes quiet, myth touched fiction where cafés, kitchens, relationships, and everyday rituals become thresholds for transformation. Her stories are written for readers who prefer depth to noise, atmosphere to urgency, and narratives that unfold gently rather than rush toward resolution.

She is the author of Maggie McCready’s Travelling Tarot Adventures, a café centred series of cosy mystical fiction following a travelling tarot reader through sacred places, quiet danger, and the human courage of choice;
Larissa’s Angelic Adventures, a series exploring love expressed through restraint, where an angel in training must honour human free will by standing back, witnessing choice, and trusting the soul’s path; and

Love Tales and Recipes, an intimate, embodied series where desire, longing, food, and memory are braided into stories meant to be savoured.

Readers who like to linger may also enjoy Brewed Between Worlds, a café side companion offering a doorway into the shared worlds of Maggie, Larissa, and the art of pausing between choices.

Start with The Angel Tea House if you’re drawn to human agency, tarot led thresholds, and place based mystery. Start with Cafe Romantique (due our November 2026) if you’re interested in the ethics of non interference and love that trusts the soul enough to let it choose.

Everything here is meant to be read slowly.

“Love does not always arrive as help or rescue — sometimes it arrives as presence, patience, and the courage to let another soul choose.”

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you will adore Melody R. Green's “The Omnibus: Maggie McCready's Travelling Tarot Adventures”. Comprised of three of Melody’s previously published books, one book effortlessly flows to the next, getting better and better as the storyline unfolds.

"The Angel Tea House” (Book 1) starts off gently enough as we are introduced to tarot card reader- cum- tea connoisseur, Maggie McCready and her whimsical band of spirit guides. The backdrop of our story is the enchanting and appropriately-named Angel Street, where the drama unfolds between light and dark, good versus evil. Together with friend Lucy and the support of Archangel Michael and the Legions of Light, Maggie finds herself enmeshed in an operation that sets out to reveal the malefactors behind the dastardly acts that threaten the local businesses of Angel Street. Through this first book, we get more than a taste of author Melody Green’s passion for urban fantasy as she seamlessly interlaces magical realism with the modern world.

“The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe” (Book 2) begins, as per usual, with a deceptively sleepy opening scene: Maggie awakening from slumber and adjusting to the world around her. This gives the reader a chance to (re)acquaint themselves with Maggie’s ‘celestial crew’. The storyline picks up speed as the book’s heavenly quest is revealed, to rid ‘The Archangels’ Way’ of negative energies. Traipsing across the pilgrims’ route on Dartmoor, the characters knock sideways any previously held beliefs of how spiritual beings should communicate and behave. The plot thickens when Archangel-of-Chaos Phineas gets under Archangel Michael’s skin as he evokes strong emotions in Maggie, adding a spicy mix to the storyline.

By the time we arrive at “The Pendragon Tea Rooms” (Book 3), the narrative reaches a crescendo. We find our heroine Maggie traipsing through Stonehenge and Glastonbury at the request of Pendragon, Dragon High King of Britannia. Her quest: to help him save the Dragon Queen of Avalon from the invading dark forces. This she manages to do while juggling a blossoming love affair with a biker with ties to the drug underworld. No mean feat for a travelling tarot reader, and yet Maggie handles it all with her customary aplomb and grace, thanks to the support of her spirit crew. The great mystery of this book lies in the disappearances of Michael and Phineas. All I’m prepared to give away is that nothing beats a great story except a great story with an unexpected twist ending, which “The Pendragon Tea Rooms” definitely has.

Rather than purchasing each of Maggie McCready adventures separately, I highly recommend getting “The Omnibus: Maggie McCready's Travelling Tarot Adventures”. Not only does it save ordering the separate volumes but allows continuity in reading, especially as the plots of all 3 books flow seamlessly from one book to the next. When you’ve finished one, the next is sitting right there, ready to read.

In closing, Melody Green is a powerful and vivid storyteller. She not only manages to bring Maggie and her celestial crew to life but holds our attention throughout her escapades. As she weaves a riveting narrative, Maggie’s journey becomes our own, her friends in spirit become ours, and we care what happens to them. And like all good endings to a book series, the reader is left with some unanswered questions and unresolved conflicts, leaving us curious and wanting to return to the story.

So when does Book 4 arrive, Melody Green? You cannot leave us this way!

Thank you for an amazing ride.

I absolutely loved The Omnibus: Maggie McCready's Travelling Tarot Adventures! From the very first page, Maggie just pulls you into her world like an old friend welcoming you in for a cup of tea, a chat, and maybe a glimpse into the unseen forces swirling around us.

Maggie isn’t your typical protagonist. She’s a traveler, a tarot reader, and someone who works with angels and spirits to keep the light flowing in a world that sometimes teeters on the edge of darkness. The way she navigates mysteries, energies, and her own purpose is something that really resonated with me. There’s a warmth to her character, a quiet strength that makes you believe in the power we all have within us.

Each story in this omnibus (The Angel Tea House, The Pilgrims’ Way Café, and The Pendragon Tea Rooms) is like stepping into a different pocket of mystical wonder. Dark forces, ancient spirits, blurred lines between good and evil, it’s all here, woven into a narrative that feels both comforting and thrilling at the same time. There’s a coziness to the writing that makes you want to curl up with a warm drink and just be in that world for a while. And yet, the stakes are high enough to keep you flipping pages, completely invested in Maggie’s journey.

One of the things I found most special about this book is how it makes you reflect not just on the supernatural elements, but on your own humanity. The struggles, the choices, the inner battles… it’s all wrapped up in these beautifully told stories. And honestly? I never reread books. But these? I know I’ll be coming back to them.

If you enjoy books with quirky, well-crafted characters, a touch of mysticism, and a sense of comfort that lingers even after you turn the last page, this one’s for you. Perfect for unwinding after a long day or getting lost in a world where magic, tarot, and destiny intertwine. A total gem!

The novel is brimming with intriguing characters, each with unique personalities and backstories. The interplay between the human and celestial realms adds an element of wonder and excitement to the narrative.

The novel also touches upon important social issues like domestic violence and the plight of refugees, adding a layer of social commentary to the story.

From Safe Haven to Sacred Legacy

The journey begins with the comforting intimacy of The Angel Tea House, where Maggie establishes herself as protector and guide. That warmth is necessary it builds trust between her and the community.

But the real brilliance lies in how that foundation is tested at The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe. There, Maggie feels more exposed, more reflective. By the time she reaches The Pendragon Tea Rooms, something in her has shifted permanently. The energy feels ancestral, almost mythic. She is no longer simply guarding a space; she is embodying lineage. The progression is deliberate and deeply satisfying.

A Trilogy That Truly Transforms

What makes this omnibus exceptional is how clearly Maggie evolves across the three cafés. At The Angel Tea House, she builds sanctuary and trust, grounding herself in community. By the time she reaches The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe, that comfort is challenged emotionally, spiritually, even existentially.

And then comes The Pendragon Tea Rooms, where everything expands. The atmosphere feels older, weightier, almost myth-soaked. Maggie no longer simply protects space she anchors something ancient. The growth feels organic, never rushed. You close the final page aware that you’ve witnessed not just events, but transformation.

The Evolution of a Spiritual Matriarch

When we first meet Maggie at The Angel Tea House, she feels like a guardian of a small sacred circle protective, capable, but still operating within defined boundaries.

By the time the story moves into The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe, those boundaries stretch. Doubt creeps in, responsibilities multiply, and the emotional weight intensifies. Then comes The Pendragon Tea Rooms, where Maggie stands not merely as a protector but as a matriarchal force rooted in lineage, land, and legacy. The trilogy charts her growth so naturally that by the end, her expanded authority feels completely earned.

From Hearth Magic to Mythic Legacy

The first book wraps you in warmth at The Angel Tea House, where protection and community define Maggie’s purpose. The second, set at The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe, strips away that certainty and forces deeper spiritual reckoning.

By the time we arrive at The Pendragon Tea Rooms, the narrative carries a legacy-driven intensity. The stakes feel ancestral, almost legendary. Watching Maggie step into wider responsibility without losing her humanity made the trilogy feel cohesive and complete.

A Journey Across Three Sanctuaries

What impressed me most is how Maggie evolves from The Angel Tea House to The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe, and finally into the mythic energy of The Pendragon Tea Rooms. Each space challenges her differently.

The first book builds community. The second deepens spiritual testing. The third expands into legacy and destiny. By the end, Maggie isn’t just holding space she’s embodying lineage, land, and light on a much larger scale.

From Cozy to Legendary

The omnibus doesn’t stay small and I loved that. The Angel Tea House feels intimate and protective. The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe stretches Maggie emotionally and spiritually.

But The Pendragon Tea Rooms? That’s where myth and memory fully awaken. The scale grows, yet the heart remains grounded. Watching Maggie step into bigger responsibility without losing herself was incredibly satisfying.

A Pilgrimage Through Power

Each café represents a spiritual rung on Maggie’s ladder. The Angel Tea House feels like initiation. The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe feels like the trial.

Then comes The Pendragon Tea Rooms not louder, but heavier. The atmosphere carries history. You sense that Maggie is stepping into something far older than herself. Watching her adapt without losing her compassion made this omnibus feel expansive rather than episodic.

Where Growth Is Gradual and Earned

What I appreciated most is that Maggie’s evolution isn’t dramatic overnight transformation. At Angel Tea House, she is steady but still guarded.

At Pilgrims’ Way Cafe, she confronts emotional and spiritual complexities that challenge her certainty. By the time she anchors herself at Pendragon, her authority feels natural. The trilogy rewards patience. It allows us to witness growth rather than be told it happened.

When the Tea Rooms Become Mythic

The leap into The Pendragon Tea Rooms truly elevates the narrative. After the grounding intimacy of Angel Tea House and the reflective intensity of Pilgrims’ Way, Pendragon introduces an almost legendary tone.

Because we’ve seen Maggie tested previously, her steadiness in this final stage feels earned. There’s a maturity in her presence that only a long journey can create.

The Pilgrim’s Test Before the Crown

If Angel Hill is foundation, then The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe is the crucible. Maggie is stretched there tested not just by external forces but by internal doubt.

The Pendragon Tea Rooms then becomes a culmination point. There’s a regal steadiness in her by that stage, as though she has walked through fire and emerged clarified. The trilogy arc builds with intention, and that long-form character growth is deeply satisfying.

Three Spaces, Three Versions of Strength

At The Angel Tea House, Maggie’s strength feels nurturing. At The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe, it becomes resilient. By The Pendragon Tea Rooms, it transforms into something commanding yet calm.

The progression is subtle but powerful. Each café reflects her internal state at that stage of the journey. Rather than repeating themes, each book expands them. It’s rare to see such consistent development across a trilogy.

When the Middle Changes Everything

The warmth of The Angel Tea House draws you in, but it’s the transition to The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe that deepens the entire narrative. The atmosphere shifts. The emotional testing sharpens.

Because of that refinement, the arrival at The Pendragon Tea Rooms carries gravitas. There is history in the walls, myth in the air. Maggie’s steadiness there is not accidental it is forged through what came before. The structure of this omnibus truly matters.

Three Cafés, Three Spiritual Thresholds

Each café acts as a threshold. At Angel Tea House, Maggie steps into community leadership. At Pilgrims’ Way, she crosses into deeper personal reckoning.

By the time she reaches Pendragon, she enters a space that feels ancestral and almost legendary. The trilogy respects progression. Nothing repeats; everything expands. It’s a layered and thoughtful journey.

The Middle Book Steals the Show

While I adored the warmth of The Angel Tea House and the grandeur of The Pendragon Tea Rooms, The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe surprised me most.

It’s where Maggie’s internal struggle intensifies. The spiritual tests feel more personal. That middle arc gives the trilogy depth, preventing it from feeling episodic. By the time the final setting arrives, Maggie’s strength feels layered and mature.

The Full Journey Matters

Reading only the first café would never capture the scope of this story. It’s in the movement from Angel to Pilgrims’ Way to Pendragon that the real magic unfolds.

Maggie grows more assured, more anchored, more aware of her lineage and responsibility. By the final pages, the journey feels complete not because conflict disappears, but because Maggie stands differently within it.

Three Cafés, One Expanding Soul

Each café mirrors a stage of Maggie’s growth. Angel Tea House is foundation. Pilgrims’ Way is confrontation and deeper self-awareness. Pendragon is reclamation of ancient power.

The progression feels intentional. The stakes rise. The spiritual layers deepen. By the final section, it’s clear this isn’t just a town-based story it’s a legacy story.

The Pilgrims’ Way Changed Everything

I adored Angel Hill, but it was The Pilgrims’ Way Cafe that shifted the emotional temperature for me. Maggie faces more internal doubt there, and it shows.

By the time she reaches The Pendragon Tea Rooms, she’s steadier, wiser, and more aware of the ancestral threads shaping her. The trilogy arc feels cohesive and earned.
