I had a one-night stand with a stranger on the worst day of my life. Five years later, I am at a wedding. The groom walks in… And I watch as the father of my child says “I do” to my best friend.
Colin Prescott, my sexy as sin, yet arrogant protector who disappeared without a trace. Turns out, he’s a hot-shot billionaire. And my BFF is about to walk down the aisle with him.
She has no idea I know him, or that he’s the father of my child.
I don’t want to think about him. But I burn with the memory of that night…when he devoured every inch of my body. Now each moment with him sparks a carnal desire I can’t deny.
Until a shocking truth about their marriage changed everything…
And when the drama can’t get any hotter with lies and betrayals. There is one more secret Colin still needs to know. He's four and has his smile.
This was a good story line but there were a lot of problems that I noticed. First off, there was absolutely no character development. All you know about the characters is hair and eye color. In my opinion, describing the characters in full details is very important. You can get a good idea of what they look like. Second, the grammar, spelling and punctuation was awful. This author needs to look for better proofreaders or editors or whomever reads the book before print. The story line was good it just needed better development and further thought about where it was going This will be my one and done with this author.
OMG this was another great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Mia and Colin the chemistry between them was sexual pleasure and the physical attraction was sensation. They couldn't fight the temptation any longer as they gave into the urge of passion and intimate and it was a night that she will never forget and will might change her life in this moment. Would he want to be family with her when he finds out the truth will change everything in his life. Or will she leaved town due to this unexpected situation? I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones
The storyline was promising, but the book needed more work. The author focused too much on unnecessary plot lines instead of helping her characters grow. The characters were grossly underdeveloped and their relationships didn't seem genuine. To me there was no depth to the MMC and FMC's interactions and I never felt a connection between them. The relationships between them and other characters fell flat too (For five years the FMC doesn't tell her "best friend" she had a baby.)
This is the first book I've read by this author and I will be giving her another try.
The plot is pretty good, the characters are typical and its a story you want to read and enjoy but its full of spelling mistakes, wrong words here and there making it hard to read and more flip flopping of decisions and you just know the author is talented but young. The sex scenes are tame and lacking a little. It's great that there's hardly any, if any, swear words. For example a whole chapter of the main female worrying the main male is dangerous or a serial killer and suddenly the next chapter she invites him in. There's no explanation of changes and it's just wishy washy.
Mia was experiencing the worst day of her life and to add to it her car died. Colin comes to her rescue, and it leads them to an intimate one-night affair that has last repercussions. Fast forward five years and he is marrying her best friend, but everything is not all it appears and when everything comes out it will change the outcome of Mia's and Colin's lives again. This thrilling story is filled with dramatic twists and turns that had me all caught up in two best friends and a set of brothers.

What a rollercoaster of a ride this book takes you in with all of the FUN, SUSPENSEFUL, SPICY and EMOTIONAL moments it has inside. Mia is a very strong willed and determined woman and Colin is in for a HUGE SURPRISE in so many ways. This book will shock you and woo you from the beginning to the end. I LOVED this book. It also had some moments where you might tear up but, in the end, everything works out perfectly.
The author did a good job as the book has an entertaining storyline with likable characters. Colin is pushed to improve the family business in spite of his mother. His fake marriage and Mia’s secrets that she kept from him (even secrets kept from her best friend, Jessica) keep you guessing how the story would end. Look forward to reading more by this new author. This book was bought and I am leaving a honest review.
If you like the miscommunication then HEA this book is for you. I felt like everything was rushed. It seems like it was supposed to be an insta love but it wasn't executed well. I think it has lots of potential. Even tho this book wasnt my favorite I would try other books of the author. I feel like the basic plot is good but it wasn't fleshed out. I felt like I was being told things instead of being shown them.
Con: it wasn’t until close if not past page 200 that Mia tells Colin Max is his child. It’s even after Jessica spills the beans unknowingly though. The book talks about all the office drama and Colin outings but why would it take so long to reveal all the secrets. That was unnecessarily stressful mess!
This book was so unbelievable it spoilt it .The interaction between his and her 4 year old son.The way max was conveniently left with his granny for so many strange reasons and what 4 year old boy comes out of school saying he hasn't got any assignments.I strongly doubt most 4 year old wouldn't even know the word also no woman would go get here is your dad without encouraging a relationship first.Altogether too unbelievable !!!
The main FMC drive me crazy through the entire story, she came off as weak to me and I just couldn't get behind her reasoning and fake truths. There were a lot of gaps and misinformation in the story that drove me crazy. I was hoping that the farther I got into the story the better it would become but it just didn't do it for me.
The premise of the story was good. I really enjoyed it. I had a bit of an issue from a technical stand point; there was some flow issues and some spots that needed a little more editing in my opinion. With that said I still thought it was a fun read and know a couple of friends who would enjoy it!
Mia is a strong willed woman who finds herself pregnant after hooking up with a guy that took her home after her car broke down. She woke up the next morning to find he was gone without a trace. She doesn't see him again until 5 years later at her best friend's wedding and he is the groom! I'm going to leave the rest of the story up to you to find out !
Mia’s car breaks down and she is helped by Colin. They have a one night stand, and he leaves without letting her know how to find him. 5 years later they find each other again. He finds out she has his son. They have a lot of twists and turns but are able to get their HEA.
The author did a great job with her plot till the end. Then things just dropped. Yes, there was the HEA but she built up a vindictive, plotting mother and then nothing. This woman was not the type to stop trying to control at Colin's announcement.
The characters were well developed and relatable.
I enjoyed the book till the end as I mentioned above.
I love the secret baby trope, but this one was all over the place. From company espionage to cheating to arranged marriages it was just way too much for one story line. Add in that you only really have 10 pages of MMC knowing he’s a dad and the FMC (not his wife) lying and hiding the kid from everyone and it’s just not a good storyline.
This story has everything you could want in a secret baby story. A one night stand, secrets, family drama, fake marriage and twists that you won't believe. It will keep you engaged and turning the pages.
What a ride. There are so many twists and turns in this story. I almost couldn't believe we had arrived at a happy ending. I was waiting for more. Good job, author. I could not put it down.
I really enjoyed this book. Only I really would have liked to see maybe two more chapters. I just need a little. Or maybe a book about Jessica and Ben where there is also some more about Mia and Collin. Just my opinion but I wasn’t finished reading but there weren’t any more words!
I enjoyed BILLIONAIRE DADDY’S SECRET BABY because it is a tangled web of relationships that get satisfactorily resolved in a relatively short period of time.
The story wastes no time getting to the good parts and keeping the momentum going from start to finish.
1.5 stars. It was short, only 200 pages, and with the way the plot was written, it needed at least 100 more pages, probably 150 to do the plot some justice. The romance was too speedy. It was just not very well developed. It needed more edits before it was published.
Secrets are hard to keep; but these things happens when one night stands occur and one of the participants disappears for five years comes back to find out he has a son and has married her best friends. These series allows the reader to understand how life unfold for others
The story was ok, cute even but the editing errors really distracted me from the story. Incomplete sentences, wrong words used making sentences unintelligible to name a couple. The story seemed rushed, the timeline not making sense.
