Dangerous Girls #3

Dangerous Girls 3

Rate this book
Things in Wormwood have been quiet since the Three first appeared in town due to the homicidal efforts of a Mithridate, but finally, the time for their assembly has come.

We need to get a handle on the crazies coming to town in search of the magical power source, but more importantly, we need to keep Chantrelle safe.

That becomes significantly harder with so many magic users lurking around, and the Three’s assembly soon reveals an even more urgent issue

Rural Maine, Witches & Mushrooms

Far more happens in small Maine towns than even the resident Mainiacs know about. Things such as covens of witches— not Wiccans, witches— mythical creatures wandering out of the woods, angry shapeshifters, magical ley lines, and most importantly, a sapient (and quite lovely) mushroom.

Despite the rather silly series title, there aren’t really any “Dangerous Girls”, although there are some seriously powerful women. As I write this, the fourth book hasn’t appeared beyond the cliffhanger tacked onto the end of book 3, nor am I sure when it might come out.

There is a slightly-above-average amount of graphic sex, all pretty vanilla. After the second or third episode in the three books I just started skipping over it— I was more interested in the story, and skipped ahead because I wanted to know what came next.

Quirky and fun to read!

Definitely worth the read. It's quirky, fun and full of plenty of magic and mayhem.
Especially when you have a convention for the county's coven leaders in town to decide the fate of the towns mundane humans and use of magic when searching for the source of magical power.

The team is ready to protect their secrets, but with a few twists, and a bad memory from their past coming to town, it definitely keeps things interesting...

Excellent Series Continues

Terrific, well written series with many interesting and well developed characters ( who can't love Chantanelle). The quality of the writing is excellent with an interesting exciting storyline which includes both serious threats as well as an abundance of humor. Excellence in this genre!

Another Cliffer!

Well I guess Mike was surprised when the Three offered him as the keeper of the source of the lines. With Uncle Billy coming out of the wall there should be a forth coming volume!

exciting

A good third book in the series with abundant action, magic, drama, suspense, intrigue, blackmail, violence, and romance. Eager to read the next book.

well done and fun

An interesting view of magic, and a plot that continues to develop in surprising ways. Now looking forward to an indigenous librarian love interest…

Keeps moving forward....and

Another exciting and satisfying read. The story keeps moving on with an ending that promises to keep things interesting. I'm looking forward to the next volume. Usually by the third book in a story I start to get bored and unexcited about continuing to read. This isn't happening here.
