So adorable! So sweet! In so few words, this story so beautifully captures many of the moments and emotions of a wedding day. I loved it! It would make a great gift for a little flower girl, or a sweet keepsake for a bride-and-groom (as they are the ones who will best appreciate the sentiments).
Readers should note that the ceremony in this story appears to be a traditional church wedding with a pastor, so it might not be a good match for all wedding parties. Also, it is probably a bit too simplistic if you are looking for a book that will explain all of the flower girl's duties.
This book was given to me as a present when I was a flower girl. I found this book and loved reading it for another time. It flows so naturally with the rhythm and rhyme. "The Flower Girl" brings back so many memories from when I was in JoDee's wedding when I was extremely little.
A young girl is the flower girl at an older female relative's wedding. This rhyming story tells what happens at a wedding and may be a good read for little girls who end up being flower girls themselves.
The Flower Girl is a beautiful, simple story. This book would be the perfect gift to give a young flower girl, or a great story to read to explain what a wedding and marriage is (to little ones) that might be attending one soon. Wonderful.
