Absolutely amazing ending to the little flame duet! These books keep you interested at every turn. I can't believe how fast I read through them both. These were the first books I've read by this author and I will definitely be reading more! I absolutely loved this story line!
As Angels Sin delivers a gripping and explosive conclusion to the duet, and I loved every intense, heart-pounding moment of it. Just like As Devils Love, this book pulls you into a world of chaos, violence, and undying devotion, and I couldn’t tear myself away.
Crue’s mind is an absolute battlefield, with the sinister voice in his head growing relentless and louder. But what I loved most was seeing how, despite it all, Fiametta changed him in ways he never saw coming. His feelings for her go beyond obsession—she’s awakened something raw and real inside him, emotions he never believed himself capable of.
And Fiametta? I adored her even more in this book. She remains strong and fiery, refusing to let her circumstances break her. When she’s hit with a life-altering surprise, she handles it with so much grace and resilience. I loved how she’s still sweet and caring but never afraid to stand her ground. Her love for Crue is unwavering, and I enjoyed watching her fight for him just as fiercely as he fights for her.
The world they’re in is ruthless, built on betrayal and death, and I was on edge the entire time wondering how they would survive it all. But through every twist, every brutal moment, one thing remained clear—Crue and Fiametta belong to each other. I loved how deeply Crue clung to her, how he saw her as his anchor, his future, and how he would burn the world down to give her the life she deserves.
This book had me feeling everything—heartache, tension, hope, and ultimately, pure satisfaction. And that happy ending? Absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion to their story.
Thanks to the author & BookSprout for the gifted copy 🖤
As Angels Sin—is a dark, mafia romance by Teresa Wolf. It is a continuation from the novel As Devils Love. Crue is a masked assassin seeking revenge against a mafia don. Fiametta is a mafia princess with a heart of gold, but will Crue’s influence leave her corrupted? Can Fiametta prove that she’s more than just being born a woman?
If you liked the drama series Dexter and The Boys then you’ll enjoy the second installment of this duet. Some of the more graphic scenes made me think of The Boys series. Crue struggles with what he calls his shadow which puts me in mind of Dexter’s dark passenger or maybe my own intrusive thoughts. We find out about Crue’s past and what played a role in making him the way he is. Where some may see Crue as a psychopath, I see him as someone whose brain works a little differently because of tragedy and trauma. The author shows his thought process on several occasions. And I have to admit, sometimes the way Crue sees things makes perfect sense.
I also think that the author did an excellent job with bringing analogies into the second installment of this duet, as well as, her own analysis and understanding of the character’s responses. I really appreciated the line “Making fun of a bad situation is the best cure for heartbreak and suffering.” Because I use my humor to hide behind the trauma I’ve suffered in my life. That’s only one of the reasons I can relate to the main characters in this duet.
In the end, you’ll find out if a tiger can change its stripes or not. I like to remain cautiously hopeful myself. Why not discover this yourselves in this intriguing read!

Wow what a way to start book 2! I absolutely loved both books, brilliantly paced and exciting read. I loved how it all ended and the epilogue was just great!
I‘m so please he couldn’t go through with his mission 😥 Sort of!!!
Fiametta is devastated on how their lovemaking ended, even though Crue warned her time and time again what he needed to do once he’d had her. It still hurt her, then he disappeared. Now shes left trapped at her father’s estate, awaiting a forced marriage to the awful man who tried to räpe her several times. Her fate is sealed….until Crue returns.
Crue left thinking Larenzo would be after him after what he did to his daughter and Matteo would be after him because he didn’t fulfil his agreement to kill Fiametta. But when Mark informs him she never told her father anything he returns. Only to find her trapped at her father’s and due to wed. Oh and she’s expecting!! 😮 Now everything changes for Crue, he is going to protect Fiametta and their child until his dying breath, he will enact revenge on the very people who hurt her to set her free. This task to him is easy but a friend’s disloyalty is harder to take.
This is the second in a dark gripping mafia duet. It's a fast-paced read full of revenge, darkness, and obsession, with a masked man / stalker, assassins, forbidden romance, dual POV, murder, violence, spice and love.
Crue is an assassin, a no-nonsense killer who's still out to avenge his mother's death. Only he's now hired by the mafia boss he was originally working against; and his main job, to protect the man's daughter from her stalker. Little do they know he's the stalker and he no longer has any intention of killing her; she's his and he will kill anyone else who puts her life at risk.
Fiametta finds herself under her father's watchful eye after her stalker almost killed her. She's also told she will be marrying Tomas, despite her objections. The one good thing is that she has a new bodyguard, one she's more than happy to have round day and night, particularly after she sees two pink lines. But how will he react to her news and can he protect her from everyone?
*note: you really need to have read "As Devils Love" first.

Oh thank goodness for small mercies because I truly thought I was going to find another cliffhanger! (I've gotten used to them recently, due to other books that I've gotten into so it would not have surprised me!)
Aside from that, here we come with the amazing conclusion to what's been a terrible journey. Crue and Feimetta have a long road ahead of them, if going off the past is anything to go by. Wouldn't you have a hard time trusting someone when they've already tried to kill you once?
But the fact remains that Crue *couldn't do it*. No matter what that little voice in his head said, he couldn't kill HER. He's not sure what he's feeling, but he knows it's something and that's enough to stall his hand. To twist it into something more.
But she's also holding on to a secret. A big one, life changing for them both and this leads to a speeding up of their exit strategy, leaving them both to wonder if they'll be able to make a clean break or if it's going to be one of their lives forfeit for the other.
This is probably my favorite in the series, however, I did feel a little letdown. Even if Fia wasn't directly related to her father's dealing with the mafia, I'd thought she'd know some form of self-defense or even carry pepper spray, etc. Or maybe go to learn self-defense in book two after what happened to her in the first book. I guess I was expecting a strong FMC and that was the disappointing part. (one that fought back best to her ability) Yeah, the bond between her and the MMC felt like it formed extremely quickly, given that he was sent to un@live her. Other than those points, the book itself was pretty good; it kept me interested. However, I kind of wished the characters were more fleshed out and that there was more of that "oh, what's going to happen now that he did __" feeling.
This book is definitely for 18+ readers as there may be some content that isn't suitable for some readers.
As Angels Sin is the second book in the Little Flame duet. This is a dark enemies to lovers mafia romance. Some content may be sensitive to some readers so please ensure you check the trigger warnings before reading. As Angels Sin picks up where the first book, As Devils Love ends. After leaving a drugged Fiametta in an alley, Crue disappears, waiting for Fiametta's father's men to come after him for trying to kill Fiametta, until his oldest friend friend finds him to bring him back. While trying to heal and come to terms with what happened to her, Fiametta finds herself locked in her father's mansion and arranged to be married to a man she absolutely despises. Will Fiametta get out of the arranged marriage and be able to go back to living the life she wants? This book is full of secrets, betrayal, heartache, surprises, danger and spice!!! Great end to the duet and Crue and Fiametta's story.

The conclusion to the Little Flame Duet. Nice wrap up to it all. I loved how even though it worked out and he got the girl, his darkness didn’t disappear, or he didn’t magically learn how to cope in society. His character was built on his inability to be a “normal” person and it stuck through throughout. But his trying to keep his flame led to them (mainly Fiametta) having what she wanted with him and lacked from growing up in her lifestyle. Was not expecting that twist early on with Fiamettas survival, but must say i did enjoy that it was immediate. I feel it allowed the story to progress and moved the pieces just so to come round full circle for the conclusion. And baby i must say those green eyes just did me in too!!.

As Angels Sins is the continuation of Crue and Fiametta’s story. I absolutely enjoyed seeing the continuation of Crue and Fiametta’s story. This book is absolutely suspenseful and most certainly page turning mafia romance. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. As Angels Sins is phenomenally written, exceptionally balanced with action/romance and beautifully executed by Teresa Wolf. I absolutely loved reading the second book of the Little Flame Duet as much as I did with the first one. I absolutely loved Fiametta from the very beginning and it took some time to start liking Crue. I love that these two characters have a happy ending with them being happy together as a family. I would definitely give this book as a recommendation for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

Omg, this book was so good that I finished it one night, I could not put it down. All the twists and turns that happened, betrayals, forgiveness, action, steam, this book had it all! Also had one of the best endings, everyone got what they deserved with a HEA for Crue and Fia. And the epilogue pulled it together and still showed that even though Crue might have been changed a little, there’s no complete fix for his condition, that he will always have urges and will always have to feed the darkness. That he can never really feel true emotion but something close to it. Also, the growth of Fia and her no longer being afraid to demand what she wants, greatness.

The story continues from where it left off on cliff hangar to Part 1 and the thrills continue between Fiametta and Crue. Be warned this book is not for the clean cut, romantic reader as it is gritty, dark romance, violence and extra spicy scenes not for the faint hearted. That said if you loved book 1 and like your romance dark and bad boy themes then try this exciting series with lots of twists and turns that, for me, kept me thinking, guessing and suspecting everyone till the end. Fiametta is no damsel in distress either and once she recognises her strengths, what and who she wants then the journey from Crue and Little Flame has many bumps to overcome to see if they will make it through to the end. Really enjoyable dual perspective mafia dark romance with great characters, humour, spicy and lots of intrique.

This is the second book in this duet. It details the failed attempt to kill Fiametta. And nine weeks later Crue gets drawn back into the war. Only this time he seems to be working for Lorenzo Napoli guarding his daughter. And there is another twist. Fiametta is forced into an arranged engagement to Lorenzo’s second in command, Tomas. Who is a liar and a misogynist. Can Fiametta get away? Can Crue play both sides against the other? Can Crue change himself for Fiametta? This is a fast paced adventure with lots of spice. Teresa Wolf is a master at plot twists and dark romance. And she always delivers a Happily Ever After, of a sorts.
So this was a really good conclusion to the book. I have to admit though it wasn't exactly what I thought it was when I read the excerpt and then when I read the book. But that being said it was a very well-written book and I didn't like it. I love how Crue's character kind of changes throughout the best he can. Maybe he's not such the psycho he believes himself to be. Honestly, I really would have liked to see more this book was a little shorter but it was good
Crue and Fia continue on their unique journey in this second part of their duet. Suspense, intrigue, moves and counter moves all are a part of this adventure. Fia's feelings evolve and change as new challenges come her way. Bumps and surprises will keep you wanting to read to see what happens. Will her love for Crue give them a way to make it? Or will it all come crashing down around them? If you enjoy a twisted, dark and brooding male and an innocent mafia princess then you'll definitely want to finish their story.
The way that Teresa Wolf writes the inner thought process of the unhinged hero is so unique. As if the part of him that makes him dark and dangerous is an individual personality that creates an intense argumentative effect between the FMC and himself about dark and darker. Crue is such an interesting character, from start to finish. His obsession with Fia is precious. The way he is written so darkly yet the reader can sympathize with him is brilliant. I’m a fan and will continue to be.

This is the conclusion of the story and is much darker than the first part. “He is the embodiment of darkness and brooding.” Beware : there is an attempted rape scene in this book.
Fiametta finds out the truth and Crue will do everything to terminate all of her demons. There were moments where I held my breath, not knowing what was happening but then exhaled in relief that it didn’t go as I feared it would go. Could this have been one book? Sure, but these two covers are a must!
You have to read the first book before reading this one.
Crue still has revenge but it’s now changed on the target. It’s no longer Fia but still the man who killed his mom. Crue will not stop until he gets what he wants however it seems some things are out of sorts. He now must choose what’s more important. Fia also has to forgive and decide if she wants to keep her secret or let it out.
I did not see the plot twist coming but it was worth it. What a way to end the duet. I loved how it ended and was happy to see the outcome.
What a wild ride. It picks up right were the first book left off. Even with everything a mess and Crue out for revenge he and Fiametta still can't fight their deep connection. This was not at all what I expected but kept you on the edge of your seat. If you like fast paced dark thrillers this is the book for you, highly recommend!

If you haven’t done so already, I highly recommend you read the first book, A Devils Love. It will lead into this story seamlessly.
Fiametta and Crue go through so much - alone and together. This story will have you on a roller coaster of emotions.. with betrayal, loss and love. And sprinkle on a little vengeance! 😉 It will make you mad, sad, and swoon all by the end.
This is the second part of the Little Flames duet. We continue with the story of Fiametta and Crue. So much happens, violence, and Fiametta survives a murder attempt. She has to deal with that and the fact that her stalker is still lurking in the dark. Many twists and turns that have their story and that they have to go through to get their hea. I enjoyed their story and is definitely recommended!

This narrative offers an exhilarating experience, continuing seamlessly from the conclusion of the first book. Despite the chaos surrounding them and Crue's quest for vengeance, both he and Fiametta remain unable to resist their profound bond. The storyline defied my expectations while maintaining a gripping tension throughout. For those who appreciate fast-paced dark thrillers, this book comes highly recommended.
Chaos ensues in part two of this series. Betrayals and uncertainty are prominent. Crue had left town after not completing his contract, and now Fiametta is left barricaded in her fathers home, set to marry his second in command. As Crue and Fiametta navigated through this mess, it left me excited about the outcome of their story. It was definitely an unforgettable read.

You can’t read this without reading Book 1, As Devils Love. Crue and Flametta went through so many life changing experiences. Cute goes from trying to kill here to now protecting the woman he wants to make his. You will not want to put the book down. Another nail biter but the author does this book and characters great justice. Loved it.

As Angels Sin by Teresa Wolf Must read As Devil Love first. This continues the story of Crue and Fiametta. I can’t believe he did what he did! And fate has changed the course again! This keeps getting more interesting and intriguing! Can she forgive him? Will everything come out? The chemistry is so strong between them. Loved this duet.

Part 2, must read Part 1 - this is a dark romance between a psychotic stalker / assassin and a mafia princess. It is a slow burn and the action doesn't pick up until about halfway through - I admit, I had a hard time with this one, I just couldn't get into the first half. Glad I stuck with it though, the twists at the end made it worth it.

An Angels Sin is book two in the Little Flame duet and man, what a great wrap up to this sordid tale of darkness and debauchery, evil vs. evil with a little spicy bonfire thrown in to brighten things up.
As Angels Sin encompasses a little mafia mayhem, a lot of secrets, unexpected betrayal and a morally gray hero who throws it all away for his lovely obsession.
I have really enjoyed this engaging and well written book. I have delighted in many of Teresa Wolf’s books; they get better with each one I read and I always look forward to the next complex, depraved and imaginative adventure that she creates. I recommend!
I think this author is known for her twisted characters. This time she has outdone herself. She has created a mindset that is alien to the majority of us, that of a psychopath. He may not understand love, but this good girl is leading him into obsession. The trope may not be original but the characters are!
Crue’s obsession with Fiametta continues on. After he left her when he couldn’t finish killing her he comes back with a vengeance. He will destroy anything and anyone in his path to make sure she is safe and became have her. There are some intense moments and also some unexpected ones. Overall a good book!.
