I don’t know how this has such high ratings with all the grammar errors. It was so hard to read because things didn’t make sense.

I was so glad this was short.

I have really come to appreciate the characters, both the main ones and those who appear throughout the stories. We return to a familiar setting for them and work with someone who understands the dynamics of their investigations. This story is fairly concise and moves quickly from start to finish.

Angela Hawkins Crow loves New Orleans; it’s one of her favorite cities in the country.

As Halloween approaches, she and Jackson find themselves in the city to help with a case that Dante Harrison, Adam Harrison’s nephew, has requested assistance with.

The city is always heavily decorated for Halloween, but this year, some of the spooky decorations are not purchased from stores; they are proving to be human remains.

Amid Halloween goblins and ghouls, masks, and murderers, they must uncover the identity of a real killer—not a vampire, ghost, movie creature, mummy, or anything else supernatural, but a monster who is very much human.

I enjoyed it and look forward to reading another installment. I hope to start the main series soon!

This was a great ghostly short mystery!!

I love the Krewe of Hunters series! I've read them all and wish there were more! The Blackbird series is just as good and I hope there will be more of that series to come out! This short mystery had a great storyline, although I did figure out who the killer was at the beginning when Jackson and Angela were going door to door. There's another series by this author I'm going to try -- the 2 brothers which is a trilogy. It sounds pretty good!!!

Halloween is not just for the ghouls

A quick little trip to New Orleans where the Krewe began. Angela and Jackson go to help one of their boss and friend’s family. Someone is taking the haunting part of the Halloween too seriously. The story is short, easy to read, and straight forward on the killer. The ghostly help is sweet and to the point with concern and knowledge. I love these short little antidotes between stories to spend more time with the original partners of the Krewe!

As usual, a great short read

I loved the story. It was typical Krewe of Hunters . Ms. Graham's books are always a great read, and this was no different. I generally believe her books are 5 star rated. I recommend this book to anyone who likes Ms. Graham's style, and enjoy the speed up to figuring it out.

I love happy endings to stories. Real Life often doesn't have them. The characters are Angela and Jackson Krewe and this time, they are investigating real human remains among the Halloween decorations. The killer, of course, giggles and has convinced himself he will never be caught. He was wrong. The story is worth reading, so I won't go into anymore detail.

This is one in a series of books and in this one there's an insane killer afoot and it's up to the Krewe of Hunters to stop him. It doesn't help the killer that after he murders a guy the guy's ghost is available to the Krewe. Neat short story.

The foundation of it was great but it went from 0-60 in one sentence and it derailed me the rest of the way. The twist were a bit overly complicated which was a bummer because it started out really great.

This was an interesting story but especially the first few pages have really bad grammar and incomplete sentences. This could have used a more thorough edit before release.
