I can't believe we're almost finished with the Al-Sintra family! With this being the second to last book of the series, I was so excited to read Saif's story, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Jemma and Saif fell in love a year ago while she was working for him, but a miscommunication led to Jemma leaving Saif, both personally and professionally, to hide an accidental pregnancy. Angry and hurt, Saif lets her go, but never stops thinking about her and wondering why she left. Then Jemma looses her mother and becomes her younger brother's guardian, on top of her new baby girl. Jasper's teenage rage, and her monster of a boss's actions, ends up bringing Saif back into her life, but her past hurts and misunderstandings prevent her from trusting his love for her and her family. This is the story of a man fighting for the woman he loves and the family he didn't know he had. And his biggest obstacle is Jemma, herself. This was a heartwarming, and at times heartbreaking, second chance romance with a background of hidden danger that Elizabeth Lennox does so well. TW's include: toxic workplace environment and boss, loss of a parent to cancer and all the emotions that go along with that, minor pew-pew stuff (purchasing and brandishing, no pulling the trigger, but all on-page), attempted taking of someone against their will (on-page), following someone with bad intentions without their knowledge (on-page), and stories/memories of past romantic relationship traumas (no SA, all off-page) and parental abandonment (off-page). If these things trigger you, please skip this book; no book is worth your mental health! But if you enjoy easy-to-read, emotional, second chance, hidden pregnancy, contemporary royalty romance books with a touch of danger, then this book is for you! However, since this series brings back past characters and references past stories, I suggest you read them in order to get the best experience. So go start at the beginning with the first generation of Al-Sintras and get your copy of Sheik Khal's story "Hiding in the Sheik's Arms" today!

I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for a fair, and honest, review!

5 STARS: ++ Jemma & Saif’s love story
I loved the characters in this beautiful love story. Prince Saif Al-Sintra is such a loving family man; through some thoughtless comments, he gave the love of his life, Jemma, the wrong impression about wanting children, so, pregnant, she left him and her job as his Personal Assistant. Saif was furious and didn’t even try to pursue her. When she needed Saif the most, they were separated, leading Jemma to have the worst year of her life when cancer took her mom, Jemma delivered a precious baby daughter without Saif, and she’s drowning in debt. In a pinch, Jenna took a lower-level job at Sinstack Fashions. Her boss, Mark Sinstack, is an inconsiderate, lazy monster. Everything about the job sucks until the majority owner, Saif, steps in.
Saif gets pulled back into Jemma’s life after her 16-year-old brother Jasper trashes Saif's office. Jasper is a great kid, but he is filled with anger, depression, and frustration. Secrets are discovered, and there are hard feelings to soothe, but baby Jayla calms the tension and soon brings everyone together. This story has some scary tension from Mark Sinstack, but so much joy within this wonderful, loving family. I loved Jasper, and I hope, as an adult, he gets his own happy-ever-after story. That young man was there every minute for Jemma and baby Jayla. Saif is there to make life better for the love of his life and his new family. I especially loved the funny ‘surprise’ early visit from the entire Al-Sintra family, and the epilogue was so inspirational. Linda

A Prince, a Secret, and a Second Chance

Prince Saif Al-Sintra never meant to drive the love of his life away.

Careless words—spoken without thought—left Jemma believing he never wanted children. Hurt and newly pregnant, she walked away from their romance and her post as his PA with barely a word. Blindsided and furious, Saif let her go, never imagining the real reason behind her disappearance.

A year later, Jemma’s teenage brother commits an act of vandalism in one of Saif’s buildings, and the prince is determined to make someone pay. What Saif doesn’t know is that Jemma has spent the last year drowning in debt, fighting to care for her brother and their baby girl, Jayla. Taking a lower-level job under the lazy, self-serving Mark Sinstack was never her dream—but survival doesn’t leave room for pride.

Between Jemma’s struggles and Saif’s misconceptions, a wall of pain has built up between them. But baby Jayla has a way of softening even the hardest hearts, and she quickly becomes the gentle force that pulls everyone back together.

Now Saif must decide: will he cling to old anger… or fight for the woman he never stopped loving and the family he never knew he wanted?

I was gifted an ARC copy of this book and volunteered the above review.

Jemma is a single mom, raising her 16-year-old brother, Jasper, and working for a horrible boss. When her brother messes up, it brings Saif back into her life. Saif, Prince, businessman, father of her daughter, not that he knows. Jemma plans to keep it that way. Saif is still recovering from Jemma's sudden departure from his business and life a year before. At first, he wants revenge, especially when he finds out that he is a father. Luckily, Jasper convinced him otherwise. Once he gets some answers, he knows he doesn't want Jemma to leave him ever again. Jemma, still on edge and unsure, has to decide whether Saif is telling the truth and trust him. Throw in a crazy boss, well, ex-boss, and you have a story full of tension in many different ways.

Overall, I enjoyed this story and the characters. The feelings feel to the reader, as I can imagine others finding themselves in a similar situation, though without the prince part. I also really enjoyed the connection between Jemma and her brother, Jasper. Even though there are only the two of them, and a baby, they are family through and through and will do anything for each other.

His Hidden Heir by Elizabeth Lennox is a fast, emotional, and addictive read. I was immediately drawn into Saif and Jemma’s story—full of tension, misunderstandings, and a powerful second-chance romance that kept me turning pages.
Saif is a strong, determined hero who reacts with equal parts shock and protectiveness when he discovers the child he never knew existed. Jemma is a sympathetic heroine whose fears and past mistakes feel very real. Their chemistry is intense, but what really stands out is how they slowly rebuild trust while navigating their complicated history.
I especially loved Saif’s gentle moments with the child and how Jemma grows more confident throughout the book. Elizabeth Lennox gives just the right mix of drama, passion, and emotional warmth.
If you enjoy secret-baby plots, alpha heroes, and satisfying happily-ever-afters, this is definitely one to pick up!

This was a heartwarming read. Saif wanted revenge from Jemma but the minute he laid eyes on her, their connection was so strong that he changed directions. Jemma had some abandonment issues and that’s one of the reasons she walked away and I enjoyed their journey of getting back together. The epilogue was especially heartwarming.

His thoughtless comments in the past convinced Jemma Stone that Prince Saif Al-Sintra disliked children. So, when she learned she was pregnant, heartbroken, she made the decision to resign her career position and walk away from him with no explanation.

A year later a very angry Saif reappeared in Jemma’s life, and he determined to get revenge. Then he met Jayla, his daughter and all bets were off. This is a sweet story of a family coming together despite circumstances that drove them apart. As in all of Elizabeth Lennox books, there is a hidden danger waiting to strike. Lovely reading, highly recommended.

A second chance

This is the 11th book in the series and it doesn’t disappoint. The h and H worked together and they developed a relationship. She became pregnant but because of misunderstandings, she left him and didn’t tell him about the pregnancy. A year later her brother vandalized his office so he blackmailed her into working for him. He found out about the baby and at first he wanted revenge but after learning about her history he knew he couldn’t hurt her. She had abandonment issues and was afraid. The plot was awesome. They found their way back to each other. Great epilogue.

I really enjoyed this story about Jemma and Saif. It centers around family and everything that goes with it. The good and the bad. Jemma is a strong woman who is always looking out for her brother, Jasper. There was a little bit of suspense and some heat. Jemma left Saif when she found she was pregnant and thought he didn’t want kids. Saif never gave up on Jemma especially when Jasper told him about Jemma’s growing up. Overall it was a good story and worth reading.

This story start off with Prince Saif's office complete destroyed by Jemma's brother Jasper and the reason for the damage is because Saif doesn't pay child support (even though he doesn't know about the child). Jemma works in a dead end job to take care of her family, with a boss who is running a business with the goal of making a profit with cheaper overseas factory. This was a great book and kept me reading until the end, on of my favor.

I enjoyed Jasper, Jemma’s brother, he is so smart, and I’m glad his one mistake didn’t cost him his dreams. Jayla was just a precious little sweetheart, and I’m so glad they all got their happy ever after. What a beautiful family, I so enjoyed everything about this book!

A heart-warming romance
Saif starts out seeking revenge and ends up with a second chance with his love.
Jemma walked away for, in her mind, very valid reasons, however she broke Saif’s heart. Watching them find their way back was such a heart-warming story that I really enjoyed.
I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.

Jemma & Saif's story is one filled with pain, love, passion and laughter. I really loved reading their story, it felt very raw and real. Without giving out any spoilers I really hope her lovely brother gets his own story as well 😉☺️
Am loving the pop up from Saif Al-Sintra's family, makes it more fun for sure!!

I enjoyed Saif and Jemma's story. I truly felt for Jemma with all the challenges she faced and thinking she had lost her love. Her brother, in his own way, reconciled both of them which led to their HEA. I am happy to see that her brother was the main character in the epilogue. I truly would love to have a story about Jasper!
