MARRIED WITH MAYHEM (A Mafia Bodyguard Forced Marriage)
I’ve disobeyed and now there’s no choice.
If I don’t get married on the spot, then I’ll be shipped out of New York and forced to marry a stranger.
At least Monte Castelli isn’t a stranger. Instead, he’s an unpredictable package of mafia enforcer muscle with a sinful reputation and my longtime ‘frenemy’. Despite being at each other’s throats, we ended up on the run together when the New York scene turned threatening and Monte decided he was going to protect me whether I approved or not.
But the real trouble started when my terrifying uncle caught up to us.
My fearsome mob boss uncle doesn’t want to hear that there’s a perfectly good explanation why I was found in a cheap motel room with my shirtless bodyguard. There’s only one solution he’ll accept and there are terrifying consequences if we refuse.
Now, on my uncle’s orders, Monte and I find ourselves facing each other and repeating wedding vows. What’s more, we are both stuck in this marriage arrangement until we find a way out.
Even with our constant bickering, the ‘one bed’ situation meant it didn’t take long before we wound up between the sheets. Once we started, we couldn’t stop. We violated every single boundary over and over.
And I should have realized I was playing with fire.
All the rumors say that Monte Castelli isn’t the kind of man who can be tamed.
I thought I knew better.
And we’re both going to pay a very high price for our sins…

I'm a huge fan of insta-love , grunge era flannel, my vintage Kenmore sewing machine, embroidered dishcloths and absolutely everything that has to do with 1980s pop culture (i.e. leg warmers, scrunchies, big hair, early Madonna, boom boxes, wood paneled walls, stonewash jeans, etc).
If you believe in Happily Ever After and improbable love stories, chances are I'll love you too!!
A mafia romance with an FMC who's unlike any FMC I've read before!
Sabrina is a woman raised in the mafia world with a few differences. She loves to game, and definitely doesn't want to be living in the strict mafia world of her mother. So when she escapes to go visit her sister... hell breaks loose.
Monte Castelli was raised alongside the mafia world. One his father didn't want him in at all. But when his best friends sister and the woman he used to bodyguard needs help, he gets even deeper into the world. Because now to save himself (and Sabrina, even if she doesn't know it), he's going to marry her.
I loved the love/snipe relationship these two had. Obviously some crazy chemistry, but they are also like water and oil at times. They knew how much the other would make them crazy. Usually with lust. But they also loved to tease each other.
It was lovely to read the relationships they had with their families. Each one was so close that you really felt the love.
I enjoyed every bit of this one. I would call it mafia-lite. So it could be enjoyed by people even if mafia romances aren't your thing.
The banter in this book is top tier. I love how Sabrina says the most random things, and Monte just rolls with it. The family bonds/dynamics were sweet, and I loved seeing past characters. The epilogue was muah, chefs kiss.
All Sabrina Barone wanted to do was go see her new little niece in Colorado and get away from her mafia overbearing eyes in Sicily. That’s how she gets stuck in NY and the only one she thinks she can trust to help her is mob enforcer Monte Castelli. They are sort of friends so when danger catches up to them she accidentally announces they’re “engaged.” Can they continue the ruse she started? They both always had secret feelings for the other but knew nothing could happen. Maybe this time things are different. An adventurous mafia, road trip romance with action and “want” between Monte and his gamer girl. Very Entertaining. Told in first person and dual POV.
not safe for me he starts to have s*x with OW only stops cuz FMC calls. This happens in like 15 percent i haven't looked further tbh, i think they haven't been in contact. (Monte and I haven’t exactly been in close contact since I left New York. From what I’ve heard, when Monte’s not haunting his father’s Lower East Side pizzeria he’s prowling around the underbelly of the city doing illicit shit with the rest of the mafia thugs. I have no guarantee that he’ll even answer my call.), but they definitely know each other.
“Rochelle takes a look around and her nose wrinkles with distaste. What was she expecting, a palace? It’s a freaking basement in a hundred year old city building.
Speaking of distaste, the perfume she’s wearing is powerful enough to choke a bear. At least my cock doesn’t seem to mind.
Her palm brushes across the front of my jeans and she clucks her tongue over the bulge. “What will you show me next?”
“Don’t know. Let’s get creative.” I reach behind my neck, pull my t-shirt over my head and toss it on the card table.
Rochelle’s eyes light up at the sight of my chest. She bats her false eyelashes.
“You want to hear the truth, Monte?”
Probably not, but I say, “Go for it.”
She licks her lips and giggles. “I’ve had a gigantic crush on you since, like, seventh grade. Did you know that it never really went away?”
Didn’t know. And don’t care.
“When Livy and I were in the neighborhood and she said we ought to stop by, I only agreed because I was hoping to run into you. I’m always hoping to run into you.”
This isn’t going to happen at all if she doesn’t stop talking. I don’t have the time or the interest in anything more than quick exercise so I might as well cut to the chase. I pull a condom out of my wallet.
Rochelle’s face puckers into a frown. “I’m on birth control,” she complains. “I mean, we’ve known each other since elementary school.”
Oh, HELL no.
My face turns to stone and my tone becomes harsh. “Listen, it makes no difference if we shared the same fucking sandbox twenty years ago or if I just met you yesterday. I don’t ever march into battle without a shield. Got it?”
She huffs out her annoyance. “Fine.”
But she also slithers out of her tank top so things are at least moving along.
All of a sudden my phone starts buzzing. Out of habit, I haul it out of my back pocket, with no intention of answering.
Until I see the name flashing on the screen.
GAMER GIRL
Huh. That’s unexpected.
Last year, the death of mob boss Albie Barone sent his widow running back to her Sicilian roots. She was joined by the youngest Barone daughter, the one with the sweet face of an angel, the ripe body of a porn queen and the bizarre brain of a tech geek.
Sabrina.
As the echo of her name runs through my mind, the effect is both strong and instant.
“Back up,” I say to Rochelle. “I’ve got to take this.”
I love mafia romance. This was lighter than the stuff I usually read, but it was good. There was a road trip, with plenty of fun moments and some forced proximity.
Sabrina snuck away from Sicily, disobeying her mother and uncle, to travel to Colorado to meet her newborn niece. Once she lands in New York, things go bad as a global computer glitch keeps her from flying to rest of the way to Colorado, and her credit cards aren't working either.
Her only choice is to call her Monte Castelli, a mafia enforcer who's watched over her before. He gives her a place to stay until her flight and money are available. But a situation causes Sabrina and Monte to flee New York by car.
The road trip has a few bumps along the way. The last one leaves them in a small town waiting for the car to be repaired. Before they can get back on the road, her uncle shows up. To prevent his men from hurting Monte, she declares that he is her fiance.
Now they are in an arranged marriage, and Monte must figure out how to let his wife know that he wants this marriage to workout. Because he's always been attracted to her.
Thanks so much to the author and Candi Kane for this ARC to review.
✅dual pov ✅he falls first and harder ✅obsessed mmc ✅touch her and literally 💀 ✅mafia ✅forced proximity ✅forced marriage ✅quirky fmc ✅mmc 26, fmc 25 love that they're basically same age for once not huge age gap which is super common with mafia romance ✅her former bodyguard ✅my wife I was surprised how much I enjoyed this book, especially how funny it was for being about the mafia😹. I loved them together only reason wasn't five star rating because I really didn't like his behavior at beginning of book or his drunken aholery😖 other than that Monte was pretty swoon worthy especially for a mafia enforcer which normally isn't my vibe. His devotion support and love for her was so sweet and I loved his pov🥹 he loved her so much and I'm surprised he was able to hold back for the years he was her bodyguard in past. Trigger warning toxic relationship the fmc had in past that she rightfully had trauma from but he was so great with her and didn't push her and went at her pace.
From the prologue I was hooked! You find out such devastating things in the very beginning that you need to read and read and read to make sure that there’s a happy ending and of course there was!
I really enjoyed Married with Mayhem. It's the third book in this mafia trilogy, this time focusing on Sabrina (the baby sister) and Monte (the middle sister's husband's best friend). I wouldn't super recommend it as a standalone, but you could probably make it work if you were desperate to start with this couple.
Sabrina is the youngest of three girls raised by an abusive mob boss and his wife, and she has never really had the freedom to do what she truly wants to do because of that. ***Spoiler for Married with Malice*** Sabrina's dad has finally died, which provides her with a tiny bit of freedom (but not that much because she's still a mafia princess of sorts). She decides to run away from her temporary home in Sicily with her uncle to visit her sister and brand new niece in Colorado, but runs into some problems on the way. There's a massive internet outage that grounds all the flights, leaving Sabrina stranded in NYC. She ends up having to call Monte, who is her brother-in-law's best friend and also a small-ish member of the mafia. He was her temporary bodyguard in Anni and Luca's book, and her current crush. Monte drops everything to help out his bestie's sister-in-law (and also his own secret crush), but becomes way more entangled in Sabrina's life than he was initially intending. Some mafia stuff happens, they're forced on a roadtrip together which turns into a "get married right this second or bad things will happen" situation, all while feelings are developing.
I really enjoyed this book. Cora Brent's writing is almost always something that I enjoy, and this book was not an exception. I love being able to reach back and reconnect with the characters from previous books, especially when it's done in a meaningful way. The mafia/mob stuff was really interesting but not too crazy, and the relationship between Monte and Sabrina developed really well. Monte was exactly what I would want in a mob-dude love interest, and Sabrina was a really intriguing mix of naive and shy but also brave and self-confident. It's absolutely a book I will be reading again!
I like it a lot and there’s nothing really wrong with the book but for some reason it just didn’t feel like a 5 star. More like a 4.5. I loveddddd both MCs and all the side characters. Everyone was so mature and emotionally aware I feel like. Friends ish to lovers. Gamer girl and Mafia enforcer. No 3rd act breakup!
Summary: Sabrina is a game obsessed geek who snuck out of her uncle’s home in Italy to visit her sister in Colorado who just gave birth. During her layover in NY Sabrina’s flight gets cancelled and her bank doesn’t work so she calls Monte who used to be her bodyguard to come get her. He literally gets the call in the middle of a hookup but immediately goes to her. He lets her stay with him. One day, Sabrina decides she wants to be dealt in to an illegal underground poker game that Monte runs. While there there’s a guy who touches her and Monte beats the crap outta him. He’s powerful though so Monte takes Sabrina and runs to Colorado but they drive there. As they’re driving there they stop by a town and Sabrina’s uncle and mom find them and come to them. He threatens Monte to marry Sabrina and they both agree and have a shotgun wedding. They continue on to Colorado where they end up falling in love and consummating the marriage many times lol. While in marital bliss, Monte gets a call from his uncle and cousins in Wyoming to help with some cattle and he’s afraid of them so he goes. While there his cousins take him phone so Sabrina goes crazy waiting for him. She ends up going back to NY to be with her brother in law and Father in law. Monte deals with him mafia cousins and goes back to Sabrina and he decides to take her on a vacation. They go to a carnival while on vacation and she gets shot trying to protect him. He was planning on proposing that night. She survives and eventually heals and they go back to NY where Monte gives up the mafia life and joins the family pizzeria business. They live HEA!!!

I'll admit it, I usually don't like bodyguard books. And I'm not a huge reader of mafia romance. I would have fully expected this book to not work for me. And I would have been so, so very wrong.
I really liked this one. Monte and Sabrina's story starts with her stranded, him coming to her rescue and continues from there. When Sabrina ends up spending some time in New York, staying with Monte and hanging out in his dad's pizza place, she manages to get herself in a little bit of trouble. Monte, however takes that trouble to the next level when he causes an "incident" with a powerful member of one of the local families. While Monte's actions are more than justified, they still feel it best to get on the road and deliver Sabrina to her sister in Colorado. Their road trip comes to an unexpected end when Sabrina's uncle shows up. Before they know it, they are standing before each other reciting wedding vows.
While the marriage may be one they are forced into, Monte and Sabrina aren't exactly upset with the situation. They are both aware that there is some serious chemistry between them. And now that they are married, it might be time to see how far they can take it.
While we spend most of our time with Monte and Sabrina, we do get a glimpse into their family situations. One of the things I loved most about this book was Sabrina's relationship with her sisters, and Monte's with his brother and his dad. These relationships really help to fully flesh out our main characters.
The story moves well, and kept my interest. Cora Brent took us on quite the ride, and thankfully, seems to be setting us up for another one with the introduction of more of Monte's family.
Overall, this was a great read. I'd definitely recommend it.
🌟𝓮𝓐𝓡𝓒 𝓡𝓔𝓥𝓘𝓔𝓦🌟 I have loved the Married With series and am a little sad it’s over, but it ended in the best way, with Sabrina and Monte my absolute favs♥️♥️.
I cannot remember the last time a book had me sobbing just from the prologue and all in my feels. This was a fantastic story right from the first pages and didn’t stop until the last page. Sabrina and Monte had the best snarky, flirty banter and crazy insane chemistry. They had me laughing out loud and also on an emotional ride with the heartfelt moments. Sabrina and Monte had what they both thought was unrequited feelings for one another but before anything can develop, they are forced into going on a cross country road trip to Sabrina’s sisters home in Colorado. Monte is so protective of Sabrina and will do absolutely anything to keep her safe, including agreeing to a marriage agreement with her uncle. I loved watching them both start to let their guards down and the flirtation amp up even hotter🔥🔥. Each moment with them was full of steam, love, and tenderness that made their story so so good. With some twists and family drama that kept you intrigued, till the very end. Married With Mayhem is so good with the perfect amount of spice, romance and adventures that you just didn’t want it to be over.
Sabrina Barone has been living in Italy with her mother, and she is over it. So she jumps on a plane back to the states but when she lands, a cyberattack has grounded all flights, and she is stuck in NYC. When her change of plans leaves her with no place to stay, she calls the one person she knows she can count on who isn't family...
Monte Castelli is a fearsome mafia enforcer, but when it comes to Sabrina, he can barely get her to take him seriously. But when Sabrina runs into a little bit of mafia trouble, they set off on a road trip that will change their lives forever...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Married with Mayhem was a sexy and entertaining, opposites attract, mafia romance read! Sabrina and Monte love to trade quips, but when they find themselves unexpectedly married, their banter will change from combative to oh-so-receptive...
Sabrina and Monte's marriage may have taken them by surprise, but neither of them can deny the attraction they have been harboring for each other, for a very long time. And now, with no reason to deny said feelings, this fake marriage is about to get very, very real...
This was a great read! Sabrina and Monte's story was definitely a slow burn, but their entertaining banter fueled the story right along. I loved Sabrina's quirky personality, and how Monte accepted her... and loved her, just the way she was...
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
“I don’t want her to feel obligated to any man, not even me. I just want her.”
From the moment I read the prologue of Married With Mayhem, I knew I was about to embark on an emotional rollercoaster of epic proportions. The intrigue surrounding Monte and Sabrina, whose dynamic had already captivated me in the previous book, set the stage for a story brimming with passion and intensity. Their tumultuous journey drew me in, and I found myself utterly engrossed as their feelings evolved during an adventurous road trip that fatefully transitioned into a forced marriage. Witnessing their layered, complex relationship unfold was a deeply moving experience.
“Everything I am and everything I have is yours forever.”
The snarky, flirty banter and sizzling chemistry between Monte and Sabrina were magnetic. Monte’s fierce protectiveness, unwavering loyalty, and tender heart were a perfect counterbalance to Sabrina’s quiet strength, quirky charm, and resilience. Each interaction between them crackled with emotion, making their love story not just entertaining, but profoundly affecting.
“You are my choice. You always have been.”
Packed with danger, betrayal, electrifying steam, and a romance that tugged relentlessly at my heartstrings, Married With Mayhem was an exhilarating, emotional masterpiece that left me breathless. It is a story that I absolutely LOVED.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the story of Sabrina and Monte. She has been raised in the mafia world. But I would say that she is a different kind of raised in the mafia world than you are use to reading. She loves to game. But one thing she knows with all her heart is that she is not about to live in this world her whole life like her mother. Wanting to go and see her sister she goes and when she does, things escalate quickly. Monte too was raised in a world that his father wanted him to have nothing to do with. Also to Mafia but he was more around it all the time and not so much a family member. He use to be his best friend's sister's bodyguard. His best friends sister just happens to be Sabrina. Due to this fact when he gets the call that she needs help, he helps her. This pulls him deeper into all things maifa. However, he sure never thought to save himself and Sabrina, that he would have to marry her. He is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Sabrina is pretty much clueless to this fact until she isn't. I adored these characters. I love the relationship these two had with each other. Their banter is that of I love you, I can't stand you. They have some really great chemistry. They have the factor that they are probably pushing the line of your brother is my best friend. These two love to tease each other but watching that teasing turn to more was so much fun.
Married With Mayhem is a forced arranged marriage, friends to lovers, mafia romance. This can be read as a standalone but we initially met Monte and Sabrina in book two of this mafia series. I recommend starting at Married With Lies for maximum enjoyment.
Monte and Sabrina have known each other a little while. Their relationship was always riddled with bickering and smart remarks. I think this was a way of deflecting their attraction. They both act immaturely sometimes but as time goes on they begin to form a strong friendship.
Sabrina is a very unique. She's very friendly, charismatic, but can also be really flirty or sassy. She is also highly accident prone. She hides layers of insecurities she developed from past experiences. Monte is loyal, protective of those he cares about, and has been known to be a playboy.
Their journey had a good mix of humor, angst, and their chemistry was clearly strong. There are sweet, emotional, and joyful moments that break up some of the drama and chaos. We catch up with the main characters from books one and two as well. I enjoyed reading Sabrina and Monte get their happily ever after following all the mayhem they had to get through. Looking forward to the spin off series to come!
ok among the three book of "married with..." I hated this one with passion. Sabrina seems a dumbass in some parts like, girl stop playing dumb you are surrounded by fucking mafia bosses loaded with guns. And Monte is sweet but all of his POVs talks about Sabrina's body or lewd stuff. I mean, I am not a prude (I actually enjoyed the sex scenes, well written) but c'mon the girl you love and nearly all the time you think of her you have something porn related in mind? I wouldn't mind if my partner had sex thought on me, but all the time? Like Sabrina certainly has other good qualities. Also the bits where he sings SECOND HAND EMBARRASSMENT AT ITS FINEST. I had to skip one of those scenes, too much cringe. Among the others, this one takes the mafia bit far less seriously. Also, in the second book, Vittorio Messina is described like this cold blood and cold hearted boss who was shitty even towards his sister, so why now he is so lovely? Idk, I liked to think that he probably saw a lot of his sister in Sabrina, but some parts felt so out of characters for him. I liked the parts where Monte acknowledges Sabrina's trauma and tries to help her regain confidence in bed, those were well done imo.
Married with Mayhem is book 3 in an interconnected series and this one features Monte Castelli & Sabrina Barone. From the very first page in the prologue you know that Cora is about to take you on a roller coaster of emotions and I am here for it all.
All Sabrina wanted to do was make it from Sicily to Colorado to meet her niece. However, the world had other plans for her. Stuck at JFK Airport with no way to get home or anywhere else, Monte is the only person she wants to call for help. Their story is full of flirty banter, passion and an intensity between the two of them that neither can deny.
Everything I am and everything I have is yours forever
When danger finds them in New York they take a cross country road trip to finally get to Colorado you really start to see their relationship build and the mayhem ensue. I love how vulnerable Brina was with Monte and how he showed her that the lies she was led to believe about herself were absolutely false. This book was about so much more than just Monte & Sabrina and I loved every single moment of it. In the end, they both won.
Married With Mayhem has been my most favourite of this series so far. The witty banter between Monte and Sabrina is so entertaining and captivating that putting this story down is not something I was able to do. The sexual chemistry between these two was so thick you could it with a knife. The push and pull between them was just as engaging and added another layer to their story. I loved how quirky and clumsy Sabrina was but even though this young woman had a huge heart, someone from her past had ensured that she didn’t see how beautiful and amazing she was inside and out. This forced arrangement wasn’t as forced as it would appear with feelings mounting between these two. As danger lurked, family issues arose and these two were scared to say how they really felt out loud, would the opportunity be taken away from them before they could both make it right. A story that was light hearted with a touch of darkness, filled with laugh out loud moments and also had an intensity of emotions that you would feel soul deep.
Sabrina finds herself stranded in NYC after sneaking out on her mother and uncle in Sicily. She is on her way to see her niece in Colorado when all of her plans go up in smoke. She realizes that she can call on Monte to help her out. Monte, as usual, steps right up to help her. I will say that I almost dnf'd this book a few times because of how ridiculous Sabrina's behavior was at points. She was bratty, had no thought to others and seemed to think it was okay to get her way all of the time. Monte thought it was endearing, I thought it was not endearing at all. She then lies to her mother and uncle and Monte finds himself getting married to her. I was over her attempts at "adulting" by that point. She was in short a hot mess. After all of that Monte steps up and tries to do right by her. Her sister, Anni, was ridiculous and should have thanked him for stepping up. Not one person looked out for Monte and that was sad to me. I did wind up finishing the book and did find it entertaining. Sabrina did step up when it counted most so I was happy to see that.
leí este libro hace semanas y me olvide de su reseña 😭. En resumen me gusto mucho la historia de Monte y Sabrina ellos al principio siempre demostraton tenerse cierto odió pero en el fondo ambos sentían atracción ella nunca quiso arriesgarse porque tenía miedo por la inseguridades de su pasado y el no quería avanzar porque su mejor amigo la veía como una hermana y no quería trazar esa línea.
La razón por la que Monte se casó con ella fue muy linda, si bien ella creía que fue porque creía que no se valía por si misma el lo hizo para que ella sea libre y pudiera seguir con sus estudios y video juegos sin que un hombre le prohibiera cumplir sus metas y además a su lado siempre estaría protegida ♥️.
El tema de las inseguridades de ella se trato muy bien y fue triste que un hombre que se acercó para hacerle dañó marcara tanto su vida porque ella era independiente y una mujer muy exitosa y vivía con la idea de que era insuficiente por un imbécil por suerte Monte llego y gracias a sus pequeños enpujones tuvo un gran crecimiento a lo largo del libro.
Amazing Sabrina was tired of being under her uncles control and decides to sneak away and fly to Denver to see her new niece. At a layover in New York all flights are cancelled after an outage which leaves Sabrina also unable to use her bank cards and unable to continue to Denver. The only person who Sabrina can think of to call is Monte castelli Although Sabrina talks more to Nico Montes younger brother more it’s Monte she calls and he drops everything for her. Loved loved loved this book and absolutely brilliant read that I could not put down Love other characters from previous books are carried on from their books and love the fact we are going to hear more from newer characters introduced in this book also Cora Brent never fails to give us epic reads this is just one of them Totally worthy of 5*
What a fantastic story! I absolutely loved Monte and Sabrina right from the start! They cracked me up with their back and forth and then warmed my heart after they got serious! Sabrina wanted to go see her niece but gets stuck in New York where she decides to call Monte to help her. Things get a little crazy so they leave in a hurry for Colorado to see her niece. Car trouble leaves them stranded where Sabrina’s mafia uncle catches up with them and things get a bit twisted up. I just loved watching their relationship evolve! They had such strong chemistry and Monte was so protective and considerate! He was such a sweetheart! Sabrina was amazing and sassy! Just loved these two and so many of the other characters! This story kept me captivated from beginning to end! Very highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book
When Hurricane Sabrina blows back into New York, Monte is not prepared for the aftermath! These two have a past history as Monte previously acted as her chauffeur/bodyguard before she was whisked away to Sicily. All Sabrina wanted was to get to Colorado to visit her sister, Annie and her new niece. Little did she and Monte know what was in store for them when he decided to go on this cross-country journey with her! I loved the witty banter and chemistry between these two. It was heartwarming to see how Monte treated Sabrina and how she blossomed when she was with him. Add in a wonderful cast of characters, great storyline, a few twists and turns, and you have a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat and wishing for more. Another excellent story from Cora Brent. I am so looking forward to her next series!
Monte and Sabrina had me smiling all the way through with their engaging banter, sarcastic wit and very obvious chemistry… This series from Ms Brent is just getting better and better. I’m loving all the characters and how their families intertwine. The friendship that has built between Monte and Sabrina over the previous stories has set the backbone for their ease together. Monte gets and loves all her quirks while she is smitten with the enforcer/bad boy …..but is he really that serious and fierce?
The softer side of Monte that we get to know through his care for his new bride is such a joy to read….she still presses his buttons and gives him so many reasons to smile, he just can’t help but fall even more deeply for his quirky sidekick!
I’m looking forward to meeting the next family in this engaging series but also getting Nico’s story…
Married With Mayhem was an addictive, exhilarating page turner. With an edge of danger this forced marriage mafia romance was unpredictable, action packed and highly entertaining.
I absolutely loved Monte and Sabrina, right from the start their chemistry was flirty and teasing. I enjoyed all the witty banter and silly games between them. Sabrina had a competive nature and her need to win was hilarious.
Monte was an amazing guy, fierce, strong and protective he was crazy about Sabrina she really got under his skin. I loved how he built up her confidence, praised her and shattered her insecurities.
Monte and Sabrina are perfect together, loved them and loved their story.
I'm excited for more from Nico and those Tempesta brothers are very intriguing, I'm looking forward to more from them.
I honestly thought Cale & Sadie and Luca & Annalisa were hot couples, nothing prepared me for Monte and Sabrina. These 2 were so hot The pages were burning in my hand. I absolutely love Monty and Sabrina, They make Fake marriages A work of art. They both secretly Want each other But never wanted to admit it and Monty thought he could never have her. When Forced into a marriage Of convenience they both realize The attraction between them cannot be denied. Maybe the fact they were friends sort of helped ease the relationship to take on the beauty it becomes. Even when His crazy cousins get involved He vows to protect Sabrina with his life. When a near tragic event threatens their happiness, the family comes together and helps them pull through I really hope a story about Nico comes next as well as those crazy Tempestra boys.
As soon as I began reading Sabrina and Montes story I knew I was going to love it. Sabrina had me smiling straight away. Sneaking back to the USA to see her new baby neice and escaping her protective family in Italy. Monte is the chefs kiss of mmcs. You can't help but fall in love with him. Things I loved about this book Sal, Montes dad is a typical dad. Showing baby photo albums to Sabrina and embarrassing his kids. It was hilarious. They way Monte describes Sabrina. He's sees every part of her and loves it. How much Sabrina and Monte love their siblings. Montes pillow! Flirting and banter is top tier. The games Sabrina and Monte play Spice! So much spice! Both characters love New York Mafia cowboys! Love reading Cora Brent books.
