I need more. I NEED it NOW! That ending wiped out everything I thought I was going to say about this book and replaced those thoughts with a whole bunch of things I don’t dare say to avoid spoilers. Sera and Killian’s world got more brutal and complex with this latest chapter in their story. I can’t even begin to guess what the truth is behind all the betrayals in their lives. I only know I need to know the rest of the story. Now!

This is book two in A Kings of Philly Mafia Romance and it continues Killian and Sera’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. This book carries on from the cliffhanger in book one so make sure that you read that book first. Sera is still a prisoner in Killian’s house and even though he said that he is doing it for her own good and to keep her safe she sees things differently but trying to escape is pointless and unfortunately she is getting more attracted and feeling something for him as the chemistry between them just gets stronger and more explosive which could be both of there downfall but for some reason they can’t seem to keep there hands off each other and then add in Killian’s mother who hates Sera and you have a situation that could totally get out of hand. Someone is betraying Killian and causing danger for all of them which means everyone is in danger so until they can find out who it is and eliminate them they will all have to be on their guard. The twists and turns keep coming at a break neck speed and leaving you on the edge of your seat while turning the pages to see what will happen next and unable to put this book down as it is so addictive and filled with action, suspense, loss, tension, pain, drama, betrayal and so many emotions and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

This next installment of the love/hate relationship between Killian & Sera is a fiery one! We start this book with Sera attempting to once again escape the compound, but Mikey finds her this time, and reminds her that this life they now live is a tough one, and she better toughen up and figure it out. Sera resolves to do just that, and in the process, gets to know Mikey a little bit better, as well as his pregnant wife, Olivia. There are a ton of twists, turns, ups and downs in this novel - where Sera and Killian can't quite decide how they want to proceed with this conflicting relationship. For me, Sera's true nature comes out when she has to try to help save Killian from a kidnapping. Although she denies it over and over, the mafia is in her blood, and her DNA seems to just take over and she does what she needs to do in order to save the man she hates to love. The battle, however, takes an ugly turn, and someone close to Sera dies, and she once again questions if she is really made for this lifestyle.
I really enjoy the growth in both of the main characters, although there are times when the push/pull gets to be a bit too much. I have a feeling that this romance won't be an easy one for either of them, but it appears to be inevitable. Once again, thanks to the author for bringing us another wonderful story.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the A Kings of Philly Mafia Romance series. In this book, Killian and Sera have grown closer to each other and Killian just wants to protect Sera, even from herself. It took a bit for Sera to start to trust Killian, although she still doesn't trust him completely. Sera wants more freedom, but Killian knows it could put her in danger. Killian has started to explain things to Sera, especially about her father. I think the other staff members and some of Killian's men have started to like Sera and she is getting more comfortable with them too. Sera finds herself having feelings for Killian, even though he told her he would never love her. Killian thinks loving someone will make him weak and give his enemies leverage over him. I am really enjoying this story and i find myself hoping Sera will stop fighting to get away from Killian. It is good to see Killian changing because of Sera and i think she really loved him. Killian loves Sera, even if he won't admit it. I look forward to reading what is going to happen next with the mob war.

This is the second book in the A Kings of Philly Mafia Romance Series. Talk about intense, this book will have you on the edge of your seat. As with most mafia romances, there’s no shortage of danger or drama. The chemistry between Sera and Killian is off the charts, but puts both their lives at danger. What happens when she walks in on her father and Killian? What happens when Killian finds Tommaso comforting her? We left with another cliffhanger when he says Tommaso is going to find out why I’m called the Hand of Death. The characters are well developed and strong, The story line just gets more complex. Well written and hard to put down. I read an arc via the author and voluntarily chose to write a review. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Killian know that falling for Sera will be a sign of weakness. Sere always wanted to leave this life behind but now she wonders about her sanity because she is starting to fall for Killian. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. My heart broke when Mikey lost his life. This is one of the best mafia stories that I have ever read. It has everything you can expect. Wow! I enjoyed the first book in this series so much I bought the entire set and as I read the book I can’t get enough. This is book 2 in this author’s A Kings of Philly Mafia series. This story stars Killian and Sera. They have grown close to each other to the point Killian has a deep need to protect Sera. Sera is beginning to trust him, as much as she is capable. She pushes for more freedom but Killian puts her safety first. Killian is sharing with Sera about her father and as he tries to get her trust, her feeling for him grow even though he told her he would never love her. Killian believes love weakens a man.

I am absolutely in love with this mafia romance series!
Nicole York is doing a phenomenal job holding my interest!
Making me tingle, smile, and sometimes cringe!
There are twists, turns, and intensity that kept me turning page after page well past my bedtime!
I can highly recommend joining me, Sera and Killian for quite a journey!
You have to start at the beginning and believe me when I say, it will not be a hardship!
I know this will be a series I go back and read from beginning to end when it's done!

An absolute must read. We pick up right where book 1 leaves us and it just keeps going. You see Sera growing and learning more about herself and getting stronger. Killian still won't admit how he feels because he feels it is too dangerous for Sera. This is a great love story with some steamy scenes, some dark turns, and some sad scenes. It has it all. Once again it ends on a cliff hanger so good that it has me salivating for the next book. I have to know if they wake up and realize how strong they can be together.

This is one excellent, addictive series that I couldn’t put down once I started it! This started up where book one ended. It is action packed, explosive, intriguing, the chemistry is on fire. Sera is becoming stronger and the Hand of Death, Killian is becoming hyperaware of how in demand his Sera is to other mafioso. They are also getting closer. This ended in the expected cliffhanger, and I am ready for book 3! This is 5 stars.

It’s here!! The next part is finally out! Killian realizes that falling for Sera might make him seem “weak”. Sera has always wanted to move on from this type of life and break from the Mafia, but now she's starting to question her self…because Killian is sexy! There are some surprising moments in the story and twists. Just when I thought things were getting better between Sera and Killian, something goes wrong and... we’re left on a cliffhanger! Umm the next book needs to be out now!!

Killian and Sera's story picks up where we left off. As their connection continues to intensify, neither one of them is willing to take the first step. The intense chemistry they have for each other jump off the pages, however with the complexities of everything that surround them and the betrayals it is difficult for them to see what's right in front of them. This is the second book in the Kings of Philly Mafia series and picks up where book one left off. The author takes you deeper into their world and shows the depth of their relationship with their chemistry and romance. She moves the story fluidly wit her descriptive scenes and delivers a terrific read with a cliffhanger ending. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Second book of the series and takes up where book 1 ended. Sera is falling for Killian but she is torn up trying to figure out where Killian stands. He can be gentle and loving one moment and detached and rough the next. The story is full of sex and violence since the war between the various families continues. Lots of tension and suspense. Great read but in order to understand the plot, reading book 1 is a must.

Nicole kept me glued to this story with the suspense and the give and take between Killian and Sera. It kept my heart racing with each turn of the plot, and I can't wait for the next book to see what happens. It is like reading a soap opera and right when you are all in it pauses with you having to stay tuned for the next episode!

Loved book two of Sera and killian story and boy is this one full of action and twist and turns. Sera is developing feelings for Killian but he refuses to show how he truly feels and thinks his protecting them but it's only hurting her. Will she forgive his latest stunt or his it to much over the line? Can't wait to see where it goes from here!!
