Nicole York is a woman that loves the thrill of suspense. Whether that be flipping upside down on a roller coaster or sitting on the edge of her seat watching the latest thriller movie, she’s all in. If you see the sports car on the freeway flying by you, take a pic, because you probably just saw her!!

She is the one that always figures out the plot in the movie and comes up with the ending that no one else ever saw coming. It just serves her right that now in the books she writes sometimes the characters take the book a direction the author had not planned on.

He would burn the world to ash and salt the ground behind him if it would keep her safe or make her happy. And I positively swooned over everything Tommaso was willing to do for Paige. Hero or Don? Will he have to make a choice or is there a way Tommaso can be everything Paige needs? I fell in love watching this pair open up and learn to trust one another, But, much like most of the rest of the series so far, this book leaves us on a bit of a cliffhanger ending. That means I'm already itching to find out what will happen next. Bring on book seven!

This is book six in The Kings of Philly Mafia Romance series and it continues Paige and Tommaso’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. This book continues where book five Rise of The Mafia King left off. Tommaso has managed to rescue Paige from her horrific ordeal and is now trying to keep her safe from those that still want to harm her but of course she is resisting and being rebellious because all she wants is her freedom and she didn’t realise that it is not in her best interest as Tommaso is doing it so that she is well protected and can heal from everything that she has been through. Tommaso and his team with the help of Paige are now trying to take down the human traffickers and even though they know that it will not be easy they are still determined to free as many women as they can without making it so obvious of what they are doing and why. Paige and Tommaso have spent so much time together and now feelings are starting to grow and now he is starting to earn her trust which is so important to him and even though it will take time because Paige is still struggling after everything that she had been through and still feels broken hopefully that will get better over time because deep down Paige is so much stronger than she knows and her and Tommaso are so perfect together and for each other and he will do everything possible to make sure that she has everything that she needs to heal and be happy. The battle has just began but will they win the war over time, only time will tell what the outcome will be for them all in the end. Wow this series just gets better and better with each book that is written and I read this book in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down and had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and it was so addictive and kept my attention throughout. I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

Owned by the Mafia King by Nicole York is yet another intense and gripping chapter in The Kings of Philly Mafia Romance series, and it does not disappoint. This time, the spotlight is on Paige and Tommaso, whose already complicated relationship is tested even further. Picking up right after the cliffhanger of Rise of The Mafia King, the story dives deep into their emotional and physical struggles as they navigate the dangerous world of the mafia while working together to dismantle a ruthless human trafficking ring.

The tension between Paige and Tommaso is palpable throughout the novel. While he’s trying to protect her from the very people who want to harm her, Paige fights for her independence, often putting herself in harm’s way. Her desire for freedom clashes with Tommaso’s protective instincts, and this push and pull creates an emotional rollercoaster that’s impossible to put down. You’ll find yourself rooting for both characters, even when they can’t seem to get on the same page.

Mafiaoso Tommaso Conti and Paige Bruno, jet lagged from a long flight, are refreshed and on their way to see McKenna Smythe, another girl Tom helped rescue from the Zahur slave house in Cairo. They then make their way to the Piccadilly Circus and take a quick trip to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. After all, they love each other and want to create happy memories to cancel the horrid ordeal she endured at the hands of of multiple monsters.

Returning to Philadelphia, the two continue conversation about how to rescue more slave girls and take down Zahur. But first they need to get rid of another sex trafficker right in their own backyard, so they concoct a scenario juicy enough for Tony Sandino to take the bait. After disposing of him in a successful raid that includes saving caged women, they turn their attention to securing a property to serve as a base for the women’s shelter that will provide all the necessities for a smooth transition back to civilization. And Paige finds much needed assistance from a group of mafia women, Including Sera Bianchi who is engaged to Tom’s former boss Killian Ricci.

I love how Nicole York artfully weaves the Kings of Philly books together to create a picture of life and death in the mafia world. This installment, a story of Tommaso and Paige, is both heart wrenching and ruthless in one package, and I rooted for them from the first to the last cliffhanger page, not knowing what danger is just around the corner.

Thank you to the author for another amazing story in the series. This book is the next level adventures for our newest couple, Paige and Tommaso. This romance does seem to move rather quickly, but as in real life, sometimes you just 'know' that this person is right for you. The story details their continued connection, and the pitfalls that happen when Paige is trying to deal with her kidnapping and abuse. However, it is written with compassion and logic, and I found myself cheering for Paige's internal dialogue when she takes control of her emotions!! The story also includes Tommaso's foray into the world of human trafficking, and the conflict that creates for him, as it does have an effect on his reputation. In the end, this couple is really powerful, and doing amazing things together!! I can't wait for the next story!!

Tommaso and Paige’s second book is a great read!

Tommaso and Paige’s story continues with them going to see McKenna who was a woman she made friends with while being trafficked. It’s been a month since Tommaso rescued Paige and she is still traumatized from her experience. Tommaso as a mob boss, the Conti Syndicate, with a territory to run is going to get behind this trafficking ring and Paige is going to help him free other women. They’ve declared their love for each other, but the intimacy is not quite there yet. She has a revelation soon after that and all is well with the intimacy and his love. Now she is working to open a shelter for women who been trafficked and brought home with Tommaso backing her and funding it. At the end of this book Tommaso has to make a decision and I can’t wait to find out what it is in their next book. Looking forward to it!

Paige may have been rescued from the physical danger she was in, but the emotional aftermath is only beginning. After having no control of her life that is the one thing she really needs however Tommaso is determined to protect her and as she much as she feels stifled he also makes her feel safe as well.

Tommaso has two agendas one of which is keep Paige safe and the other is to expose the people responsible. He wants more than justice as he wants to ensure that others don’t continue to endure the same fate that Paige was faced with.

The connection between Paige and Tommaso continues to escalate but so does the danger as these two captivating characters take you on adventure that has you needing to know what happens next.

This is the sixth book in the A Kings of Philly Mafia Romance series and Tommaso and Paige’s story continues. The angst and drama intensify. Heartbreaking at times and heartwarming at times. This has been an amazing series that keeps your interest. After he rescues her, he is determined to keep her safe. Human trafficking is exposed and they are both involved with the exposure and rescue of various women. A book that is overflowing with angst and tension. i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the sixth book in the A Kings of Philly mafia romance series. In this book, Tommaso and Paige are in love and are moving forward in their relationship. They are also teaming up to try to rescue as many women who were kidnapped and sold into the sex trade. Paige is still healing for her own kidnapping and wants to help as many women as she can. Tommaso would do anything for Paige, even pose as a sex trafficker to rescue women. I really love this series. I love how Tommaso wanted to help Paige and other women. I think Tommaso really loves Paige and would do anything for her. I can't wait to read more.

This is the sixth book in the series and continues Paige and Tommaso's story.
Paige is still struggling to trust her choices especially with Tommaso but he is trying everything to prove he wants her for her.
I loved how Tommaso is so gentle with Paige but with enemies still out there can he keep her safe.
When they start to work together to help other women escape sex trafficking Paige comes into her new self and they soon get close but it's not easy to find the women without putting themselves at risk.
Can't wait for the next book.

Paige is starting to trust Tommaso. Spending so much time together feelings are starting to grow. Paige is helping Tommaso taking done people and rescue women trapped in trafficking. Tommaso and Paige is trying to heal from all the past traumas. Paige is a stronger woman than many thought. With Tommaso's help Paige start a place for woman to be save and help them to start over. This series is keeping me on the edge of my seat. And then it ends in another cliffhanger. It is absolutely a great must read story.

The next book in Paige and Tommasso's story takes them further into their relationship and further into his mob world. Paige is still navigating her trauma of being kidnapped and living the world of sex trafficking. Now with Tom's help they are working to take down rings and save other women that had her same fate. Read on to see them navigate their relationship and the mob world. It is a great world building and they have such great chemistry. This is a must read series. I can't wait for the next book.

Tomasso has rescued Paige and are on their way to visit McKenna, another girl Tomasso rescued from the sex slave house in Egypt. Paige is still very antsy around people and McKenna wants to talk about her ordeal which is too much for Paige. She is also very uncertain about his reasons for taking such good care of her. Wanting to be independent she gets her old job back and gets a little more involved in Tomasso's life. Really good story about human trafficking and the aftermath. Also a wonderful age gap romance.

Absolutely Love the ANGST!!!

A Kings of Philly Mafia Romance Book 6! Two more to go, and though I am unhappy the series is coming to it's end, I am absolutely loving the journey!

Paige and Tommaso's relationship is growing.
BUT, the path is not an easy one and that is absolutely no surprise!
Remember the angst reference!?

This is the 6th book in this series and continues where book 5 left off. Be prepared you get another cliffhanger. This book is heartbreaking!! All Paige wants is her freedom, and all Tommaso wants is to keep her safe. Together they work to bring down the trafficers, and free as many women as possible. Every broken girl needs a Tommaso - he is so sweet, loving and a master protector. Absolutely loved the next instalment and can't wait for the next one. There is nothing he won't do for Paige, he went to the opposite side of the world to save Paige and now he has her, he is making sure he keeps her safe and will destroy whoever tries to hurt her. Seeing their relationship develop and how they both learn to trust one another is so sweet and tender. Another fantastic read from Nicole York!!!

Don or hero?

Tommaso - who I still cannot see as a “Tom” - and his devotion to Paige will lead him to tackle this question. Their efforts to take down those who traffic women have led to tremendous healing for her, and an impending identity crisis for him.

I enjoyed this story - the pull between Tommaso’s warring roles, the heroic rescue efforts, the mix between violence and passion. I can’t wait for the next story in this series.

This 6th book is a continuation about Tommaso and Paige. He is the best friend and former right hand of the Mano Della Morte, The Hand of Death. Tommaso was able to find Paige and he rescued her. He is head over heels for her, but she has major trust issues. They are starting to work together. I am enjoying this series. This is 5 stars.

Tomasso is looking more like a hero than a mafia man.  All that he is doing makes you want to love him, even though he is a criminal.  He is only killing other criminals.  Hurting those that do much worse than him.  He has also done so much for Paige and society for a whole...or at least battered women etc.  As Paige has set up a home for women that need help in general.  We don't want to see anything bad to happen to Tom Conti.
