It wasn't bad but I honestly just couldn't get into the plot of this one.

So instead, I just focused on Sadie and her building relationships. Like with Tyler, Mallory, Blackwood and Grahm. and of course, Brad. these parts I enjoyed a lot.

Onto the next book which sounds interesting with the mysterious murder society that cropped up.

I was nearly finished with this book when I sadly realized the following book in the series would continue with this incel-ish plot line.

To be clear, none of the killer/victim premises in the series so far have been terribly realistic. I think a group of men gunning to kill beautiful and fit influencers is one thing. However, women accusing men of being “eye-r4pists” for looking at them at the gym? Even these women’s family members were calling their daughters vile or devilish (e.g., she has the the soul of a serpent). The dramatization of these women’s influencer activities felt like how Reddit incels describe their Instagram discover page. This book had me wondering whether the author was writing from the perspective of the protagonists or whether he believes the opinions of those he writes about. At times, this book felt like an excuse to place culpability on women at large for accusing seemingly inoffensive behavior by men to be r4pe—as the impact of the situations on the men felt realistic, but the antecedents didn’t.

The chapters on the influencers fall short, just like Sadie’s chapters do when she’s apart from Brad. Basically, all Sadie seems to care about when not at work is her love life and catching killers. I just really hope this girl picks up a hobby sometime in this series.

Also, take a shot for how many times scared women pee or think about peeing themselves.

Two stars because everything after three-quarters of the book was okay, despite the lackluster exposition and my previous comments.

How can you not Love Sadie Gray!

Sadie Gray is a true hero! Not in a glorified way, but as a hero to the everyday people who struggle in life. She was dealt with a nightmare childhood that would break most people. But not Sadie! She pulled up her big girl panties and decided to make this world a little safer for the innocent. Trying to right the wrongs in her own way. Is it easy? Oh,hell no! She has been captured, tortured , and barely escaped with her life. That hasn’t stopped her! She is determined to bring the bad guys down and be the Best FBI agent she can. It’s costing her everything on a personal level, but Sadie feels like it is her God given direction to take out the evil so the innocent don’t have to experience the horrors she has lived through.
With the help of a hot, amazing partner and the love of her beloved dog Droolus Maximus, she pushes herself harder to make a difference. Evil can’t win if she is on guard! Ryan has once again given us a story we cannot turn lose of until we get to the end. Great read! If you haven’t started this series, grab the first story and dive into the world of Sadie Gray! Loved, Loved, Loved!

Murders Spread Wide

After supporting an investigation into the murder of a young woman responsible for a young man's suicide, similar cases start popping up around the country. Copycats, serial killers or both? Much of the evidence seems to match, consistent MO, and other evidence but the timeline seems to rule out an individual serial killer. Brad and Sadie have some work to do and some air miles to log.

I love the banter between B-Rad and Sadie, they genuinely care about each other underneath all the smack talk. Not sure about Droolius and his issues with his bladder😂 Ryan never disappoints, love this series!!

This series is captivating, hard to stop binge reading them. The characters have a ton of personality and some conflict in beliefs but play well off each other. The plots are interesting without too many twists but keep you interest and the pages fly by.

This took me longer to read than normal as it could not keep my attention. Sadie is a little too irritating in this book to me which is also part of the reason. All in all though I would recomment but make sure you read books in order

great read

I love the dynamic between Bradley and Sadie. Sadie has quite the quirky personality and Bradley’s bares the brunt of it. I believe the main objective, for the two of them, is for Sadie’s maturity as an FBI agent shines through.

This is my 3rd Sadie Gray book and probably my last. While the cases they are working are good I can’t tolerate any more of Sadie’s immature, childish behavior. She doesn’t act like an agent who graduated 2nd in her class at Quantico.

Least favorite so far. Enough already with the should I or shouldn’t I date. Who should it be. It doesn’t add to the story. It just makes her annoying.
