Everything is going so well… The Krewe of Hunters have enjoyed a wonderful office party and Jackson Crow and Angela are getting ready to head home to spend Christmas Eve with their children with hot cocoa, Christmas lights and music . . . But it’s not to be so easy. A spirit from the past desperately stops them in the parking lot. People have been kidnapped! They’re being held in a basement and God alone knows what their kidnapper intends to do. On Christmas Eve! Well, since they are being led by a ghost, it’s rather hard to alert the local authorities. And Christmas Eve or no . . . One of the kidnapped victims is an elderly man who had been living on the streets. Others were runaway, or those who had desperately trying to survive by whatever means they might. Some are young and must be terrified! But sometimes, the magic of the season does exist; they’ll just need to pull a Christmas miracle out of a hat . . . But they discover that it is Christmas. And miracles in strange disguises just might appear on a wintry Christmas Eve.

I have listened 🎶 to a number of Krewe stories and I have enjoyed each. This is a interesting 👀 novella with interesting characters lots of action and misdirection leading to the unexpected conclusion.

Short 25 page Christmas story. This one let's you believe maybe we don't live in the worst of humanity every day after all. Rather by the end it chooses to show you that even under the worst of circumstances, one caring soul, or 2 can make a difference in this world. Shows how they made a difference for quite a few one cold snowy Christmas Eve night. This reminds us to always keep hope alive. To try to look at others with best intentions and thoughts in mind first not the worst. A good short story take a quick 5 minute listen.
A ghost approaches the Krewe couple after the left the company Christmas party convinced that his great granddaughter was being kidnapped by an old officer he had commanded and begged the couple to rescue his great granddaughter. The characters are the same couple as the last story I reviewed and things were not as they seemed to the ghost. I highly recommend this short story.
Another great short story in the Order of Hunters series! Angela and Jackson are leaving the company's Christmas party when they are approached about a man that is keeping people in his basement. Will they figure out the truth in time?
This short story put a smile on my face. It is almost midnight andI find I have to read more of her shorts. I always look forward to Krewe of Hunter books. Mrs. Graham is one of my favorite authors.
Heather Graham is such an awe-inspiring writer. I love her outlook on life and the goodness she spreads with her books. This one carries on her tradition of terrific holiday short stories. It fills your heart with love and happiness and faith in people. Another winner Heather! Thank you!
