Unexpected love by Britt Lynn is book 2 in a dark mafia romance novel series. This book was the perfect follow up to Unexpected Secrets. You definitely want to read the first book prior to this one. This book continues to follow the plot and characters that were discussed in book 1. It was fabulous to see the continued growth of the characters. The plot was so well developed and it just flowed.
Allie did a lot of growth in this novel. I loved reading about her character. She is a strong character and I love her and Noah. He is the protective and perfect book boyfriend. Seriously though these two are the sweetest couple and I enjoyed their story.
I highly recommend this duology. This just keeps writing excellent novels,

This book is the best way to explain you don’t need to be blood to be family! I love the characters and everything about unexpected love the character growth for allie was so good. This however is book two you defintly have to read book one beforehand. One of my favourite things about unexpected love was the multiple POVs hearing from everyone you get more insight. Noah Noah Noah is all I’m going to say. Thankyou Britt for giving me the chance to read this for you!🖤

A beautiful addition to the first instalment. We begin pretty much where we left off! The storyline is fast paced and filled to the brim with fantastic characters and emotional moments.
We have it all: Great banter, fun moments, hot sizzling spice and emotional scenes that will pull at your heartstrings. Great action and intrigue within a well crafted narrative, and all the intricate pieces fit together perfectly!
This book was unputdownable and immersive, fun and explosive. I love this Duology fiercely.
Allie and Noah are a perfect couple, their chemistry is off the charts!
Oh Noah… I absolutely fell for this man completely! He is everything, soft, emotional, fiercely intelligent and protective. Everything you could possibly want and so, so much more!!
Allie is a strong character and her development and growth throughout this story is incredible and inspiring! Everyone can relate to her on one level or another! I certainly did!
A flawlessly written narrative. Britt sure knows how to bring all the feels.
Beautifully unique and utter perfection!

Very good second book to the first one! loved the continuation of the story and it was such a good written hockey romance! I love how far Allie has come she really is a Bad AB i love her stepping into her own. Noah oh man he is 😍😍 i love how protective and what a man man he is Yes please hehe.
I Loved all the pov's in this book and it made the story flow very well together. The story is spicy, dark, funny and all in all a very well book that i couldn't put down. The spice was well written just wanted more more more lol

What I loved most about this book is the closure it provides. Loose ends are tied up, and we see Don and Cam evolve in their own ways. Most importantly, we witness Alli take control of her life, learning to stand strong on her own. She’s a true fighter, and I absolutely loved that..
Noah, ever the wonderful man, gives her the space she needs to rediscover herself—and we love that about him.
I really enjoyed how hilarious the boys are, especially when the girls fire back with their own jokes—it makes for such fun moments!

Allie, if I thought she was a tough bad@$$ before, she really is now. The character growth for her this book was over the top. I enjoyed seeing her blossom into a strong in charge woman.

The perfect follow up for book 1 Unexpected Secrets. Noah and Allie they are perfect together. And you see their bond getting stronger and stronger. But also you will see Allie getting stronger and becoming the queen she was meant to be. This book stole my heart and has a special place in my heart.

Another good book hockey and romance. It was great to see Allie finally find her self and grow. Seeing her gain strength and become a fierce woman was great. This book is packed full of so many emotions and it shows family isn’t always blood but rather those who have your back always.
I would have liked more action they are suppose to be hitmen/snipers I want more of that aspect. Not out target practice but actual targets.
Being a Canadian I should love hockey but I really don’t. What I do love about hockey is the fights(that what hockey is really watched for) and the the warm up and reading about it, I can picture it in my head watching a friend and his team warm up and play the antic of hockey player Britt captures it so well.

I love how Allie grows to love herself and decides to do something that’s for herself and not anyone and comes out to be more of a bad ass than she already is. And decides what is best for her health and mental state.
Noah omg he’s swoon worthy 🫠🫠 just the way he loves Allie and supports her in everything. Gives her space that she asks for even if it’s hard for him. These two together is endgame. The story evolved and you get to read more of the other characters too and love each and everyone of them.

In book two we find ourselves back with the gang and the love of Noah and Allie we see the struggles and how resilient Allie is her determination for fighting her demons only make her a true warrior I absolutely love her and found myself so much in her character I think we all can in away and that is the one thing that Britt Lynn does with her is pours her heart and soul into this character but all of them it’s absolutely beautiful to read. The banner each character has and the love of a family the united team they all are in one another life is beautiful brought to life threw out this amazing story and the finish is just as brilliantly executed as you would imagine.

Up and coming dark romance/hockey author Britt Lynn did it again in part 2 of Unexpected Secrets and Love.
You cannot not fall in love with Allie and especially Noah. We follow the FMC Allie in her incredible growth while battling eating disorder and finding her place in this new mafia life that was destined but hidden from her since she was born.
It’s amazing to see her become strong and healthy with the support of Noah, her brother, the hockey team and her in-laws who have been a major part of her life since the loss of her own parents.
Totally recommend

This was my first read of January and it picked up right where the last book left off. I love Noah and Allie’s relationship. The notes that were incorporated into the book were a good added touch. I also enjoyed that all of the hockey players (minus Reed) had a POV in this book. I really thought Cam and Allie were going to have a closer relationship but I’m glad it went the way that it did. I’m glad Allie was able to find herself and feel confident in who she was leading to how the book ended. I loved all of these characters and hope to maybe see them again one day.

Noah and Allie's story continues 🙌🙌 I was so happy when this book finally dropped, because Unexpected Secrets left a lot of unanswered questions... And their story definitely wasn't over!
I loved book 2, we get introduced to Cam [wich I have a small crush on], and Allie finally becomes who she's meant to be.
Character development was amazing, and I felt every emotion that the characters went through because author Britt Lynn knows exactly what's she's doing when writing dark hockey romances ... throw in some mafia, and it's a masterpiece 👌

Loved every single thing about this book! Britt always writes such amazing stories that suck you in! Noah is everything 🥵😍 love how he’s always there for Allie. Allie is such a badass and I’m living for it. The character growth for her was amazing! She really grew into such a strong queen! The connection between Allie and Noah just kept getting stronger and I loved that. Loved that we got to see more from Don and Cam! This story was perfectly written and I loved every second of it. It will live rent free in my head!

What a great ending to this story!! This book continues on from book 1 unexpected secrets!! And if you didn’t love Allie, Noah and the crew in book 1 you sure will in book 2!!! This book was amazing and still love how big of a baddie Allie is and what she overcame in this book. Noah and Allie is an amazing power team and support each other through the things they had to do. The spice was amazing along with the plot. This book has a lot of banter between not just Allie and Noah but everyone on the team. Need a page turner book this one is definitely one you should read.

Ya’ll…..when I tell you I love hockey romance—this girl knows how to hit deep in my gut. Unexpected Love by Britt Lynn is book two of her unexpected series and my god did this one have me again laughing so hard my stomach hurt but it also had me crying too. Noah Wyatt is such a sweetie and romantic but also very protective and fierce and my god did book two make me love him even more!

OMG! I love, love, love Noah and Allie. Noah being the amazing man he is, giving Allie anything and everything she needs. Allie becoming the woman she always wanted to be. Working hard to fight her demons. If you didn't fall in love with them in Unexpected Secrets you will in this one!

This is book #2, you need to read book #1 Unexpected Secrets first as it is not a standalone

Her skills of sh00ting is better than she first though, especially with the help of her handsome husband.
Her normal life is long gone, can she live up to the legend she is required to be.
Noah - Is the king of darkness, his love for Allie processes each time, he is absolutely head over heels for his best friends sister, the one who he now calls wife.
This Dark Hockey Mafia romance, it is full of twists and turns. It is beautifully written, this is not the first novel of this authors I have read and it most certainly won't be the last.

This books was a great way to end Allie and Noah’s story, even tho I’m sad that it’s over. This entire series will always stay in my mind. Britt always does an amazing job at making all the characters leave a long lasting imprint in your mind/heart.
