This was cute. But a couple things really had me cringing.
First, the very cliche rose and locket watch tattoo…she’s 18 so I kind of get why her first tattoo is something so popular. But Matteo couldn’t subtly sway her to something cooler? I mean His memorial tattoo sounded soooo cute.
And then the second, more cringy thing for me.
A chin strap beard?!? You’re joking.
Not one person on earth has ever looked their best with that facial hair. Not one. And you can’t prove otherwise.
I mean. The book was cute, especially that ending, but those two things really tanked my opinion.
Plus, we got this big buildup about meeting his ‘mamma’ and then it happened off page. So that was disappointing.

falling for your hot italian tattoo artist while he helps you fix a fraudulent bank charge? immediate yes. also i love how characters from the previous books pop back in, it feels like little life updates from old friends and i love it. 🥹

Okaaaaay
I am so disappointed.
Look there's some spoilers in here, so do what you must...
I was really, really looking forward to Matteo "Ink" De Luca's story.
Mafia ties & the MC brotherhood... I expected an awesome, thrilling ride, not to mention some serious sexual chemistry between Matteo and Annika.... I mean a sexy growly possessive Italian man and his women ... Liquid gold, right?
Alas, not.
I felt like we were on fast forward the whole way through.
Annika & Matteo had maybe just got past "hello, how are you?" When she got a call about her tuition fees bouncing due to insufficient funds.
Literally, in the next sentence, Matteo had figured out that her Uncle was stealing from her and had Ash fly back from his honeymoon to get busy with the legalese...
His.
Honeymoon!
...and the story just picked up speed and spiralled completely out of control from there.
This is so far removed from this usually, fabulous duo's books, and that's why I'm so disappointed.
Absolutely zero effort was put into this book, this one was next in line for release, and they did just enough to get it out there.
There was NO chemistry between Matteo and Annika, there wasn't much of anything really.
The hit and run? Nothing we didn't even get to be in the car with Annika, we were stuck with Matteo (apparently) working on a tattoo... I say apparently because, again, the whole chapter was simply glossed over.
Even the shooting was a non event. I mean if someone shot at (and hit) me, even if it was just a graze, I'd still be hella stressed about it, because that would mean that someone SHOT ME and HIT me!
People don't get shot for shits and giggles dude! If they shoot at you, it's because they want you to die!
And what did we get out of this scene? Nothing, Nada, in fact 10 minutes later he threw her (gunshot wound forgotten) on the bed and they got busy... Not that we got in on the action, it was all "fade to black".
In fact all the sexy scenes were "fade to black" in this book. I think we got 2, half hearted attempts, at on page sexy times.
In chapter one, there was major focus on Matteo's mamma wanting him "to meet a nice girl and give her grand babies" ... So I was, at the very least, looking forward to when his mamma finally met Annika.
She did meet Annika and gave her the family heirloom engagement ring... We weren't fortunate enough to get in on that scene so I'm not sure how things went down.
...the uncle? We didn't get to hear a peep out of that guy, but at least the author told us he got the shit beaten out of him..so hopefully that went down well, wish I was there though, would've been nice. (He did try have Annika assisinated after all)
Look! I get it, not every book is going to be a home run, but honestly, MY Fiona Davenport, the one I know and love, would never, ever, in a million years, have delivered something this half hearted and diluted!

I’m so excited to talk about "Ink," the sixth book in the Hounds of Hellfire MC series! Honestly, this series just keeps getting better, and I can't get enough of these amazing guys! What I love most is how Ink meets Annika and instantly knows she's the one for him.
Matteo “Ink” has quite a complicated family situation, but, you know, family is family. Just the night before, he had a family dinner where his mom kept asking about grandbabies, and he was still thinking it would never happen. Then, the very next day, he hears this angelic voice and follows it right to the woman of his dreams! Annika walks into Hounds Ink wanting to get a tattoo of her parents, but in just a few minutes, everything changes for her. She finds out she’s been betrayed by someone she trusted, and now she’s got a super protective biker boyfriend who is ready to defend her with the help of his brothers—even if it means calling in some favors from family he doesn't really get along with.
The chemistry between Ink and Annika is just off the charts right from the start, and they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other!
As always, the characters are wonderfully crafted. The banter is so much fun, and the fast pace combined with just the right amount of drama makes it impossible to put the book down. It’s great to catch up with past couples while being introduced to new characters too! Plus, with Ink having his own family drama, I have a feeling we might see a new series on the horizon. I can’t wait to dive into more books in the future!

This is book six in the author’s Hounds of Hellfire MC series and features Ink, aka Matteo, the best tattoo artist in the state.
When Annika walked into the Hellbound Studio to get a tattoo to commemorate her parent’s wedding day, her very first, she never expected her life to change so drastically…or to finally find the kind of love her parents had, the kind she’d wanted her whole life.
All it took was for Ink to hear her voice and that man fell first and he fell HARD. Typical of the guys in the MC (and something the authors write extremely well), he was instantly obsessed and possessive. Something that Annika did absolutely nothing to discourage…her Mama didn’t raise no fool!
Being from the deep south myself, and having the kind of accent you’d probably expect, I’m a sucker for sexy overseas accents so when Matteo spoke Italian to Annika, it was enough to make ME melt! Normally I don’t care for audiobooks, my imagination is better than anything I’ve heard from narrators in the past but I was seriously giving it heavy consideration every time he called her dolcezza or the many other sweet things he whispered in her ear. *Swoon*
You do NOT want to miss this book! It was pure instalove, sweet as sugar and uber hot!! 5 steamy stars!!!!

I absolutely love this series and this club!!
Matteo DeLuca is a well connected brother. Not only is he related by marriage to Mac, President of the Silver Saints MC, but also by blood to the DeLuca Family (yes, that Mafia family), and he's going to need everyone's help when his woman is in trouble. As a solid club member, it's easy to enjoy the banter and support that the guys have with each other.
Annika is a sweet woman, unexpectedly caught in a dangerous situation that her Uncle created. I really enjoy when the club brothers find their loves... it's so instant, and overpowering. It's easy to get swept up in the storyline, and carried along with Annika as Ink solves her issues and keeps her safe.
This series has great storylines, steamy scenes, and HEAs perfect for all involved. While I really recommend reading in the proper order (for the best experience), you can enjoy this - and go back and read all the others. Trust me... you're going to want to fill in the details with all the crossover characters. These are quick and sizzling reads, and make a great binge read!!

Another great Hounds of Hellfire book!!! This one features Matteo “Ink” DeLuca and Annika Lee. Matteo is a tattoo artist at the MC's shop and he is stopped in his tracks when Annika comes into the shop one day to be tattooed by his brother Onyx. Ink heard her voice carry in the shop and knew that Onyx would NOT be the one tattooing her. It was the perfect meet cute. Ink is the perfect combination of possessive biker and teddy bear when it comes to the ones he loves.
I loved the tie to his Mafia side of the family and how they all worked together in the story. Of course there is some family drama, because what FD motorcycle story would be complete without it. Annika totally embraced the MC and Mafia parts of is life with ease. She was made to be his ole lady. As always the chemistry is off the charts and I loved the shower scene with them!!!
I can't wait for Onyx to fall just as hard as his brothers.

I’ve been so excited for Ink’s book, and it was worth the wait! Who wouldn’t love an overly protective, possessive MMC with family ties to the Mafia while being a patched member of an MC? Add in being an enforcer for said club and a tattoo artist and Ink was OTT alpha male and it was perfect. I loved his family moments and how much they cared for each other and had each others backs. Annika was an absolute sweetheart who’d been through a really rough few years and it only got worse. Ink was all in the second he heard her voice, and protected her fiercely. Seeing him go into protective and caveman mode was oh so good. It was steamy and had suspense and twists with a touch of danger. No cheating or OM/OW drama, virgin FMC, dual POV, HEA and an epilogue in the future. I can’t wait for Rafa’s book and that side of the family. Also hoping Rachel falls for an MC member or one of the DeLuca’s!

Loved Ink (Matteo) and Annika's story. Ink is the perfect blend of alpha possessive biker, with a heart of gold for the ones he loves. While Annika is a great blend of firey, smart, and beautiful inside and out.
Their meet cute at the tattoo shop is adorable, and the way Ink jumps straight in with both feet to find and eliminate the problem that's arisen in Annika's life is just beautiful.
Instalove romance at its finest.
Ink is part of the Hound of Hellfire MC series, and while it can be read as a standalone I would definitely recommend reading the previous five books as the series has been brilliant!

I really think this is my favorite book in this series. It had everything I need in a book, drama, suspense, spice and an alpha male who turns into a cinnamon roll MMC when his woman is involved. They can be straight up jerks with any one other than their woman.
Ink is an enforcer for the MC and is a tattoo artist.. That's how he meets Annika (love this name). She comes in to get a tattoo to honor her parents who have passed away.
Ink hears her talking and makes his buddy/co-worker let him give her the tattoo.. Well I should say, he is getting ready to when she gets a phone call and Ink goes into protective mode.
The MC comes together to figure out what is going on and how they can help. Ink even gets The Family (his mafia family he was born into) to help his girl.
Will Annika stay with Ink once the threat is gone? Will Ink be able to help her? Will they get their own happy ever after??

Matteo finally gets stung
How ironic that Matteo spent so much time fighting his mom at Sunday family dinner over finding the right girl to settle down with and start a family. He was even willing to throw his male cousins and Hound members under the bus to take the heat off of him. All it took was Onyx's client Annika's voice to capture his attention.
There's no way Annika could have known going to get a tattoo in memory of her parents would change the course of her life. The change was quick and significant. What ended up being a life or death situation for Annika was quickly resolved with Ink's DeLuca connections and the Hounds of Hellfire abilities.
I love these two together.

Love Ink and Annika 😍❤️
I didn't expect that their chemistry from the very start is so hot 🔥. It's an absolutely joy to see them banter and got to know more about each other. Inks is a perfect character that has ties with mafia and a biker. Annika is a sweet, understanding and a fierce characters that just perfect for her. I love how there story becomes strong after being with each other.
It's fast 🔥, steamy🔥 and a Happily ever after 😍 story that I can't get enough. Love seeing another side of Deluca's family❤️. I can't wait for the next book to come 🥰

This is book number 6 of the Hounds of Hellfire MC series and focuses on Matteo (Ink) and Annika. Annika lost her parents a couple of years back and decided to get a tattoo in memory of them. She went to the tattoo shop owned by the Hounds of Hellfire to get her tattoo by Onyx when Matteo hears her voice and knows that she is his. When Matteo finds out that Annika’s shady uncle has put her life in danger, he stops at nothing to make sure she’s safe and protected. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Matteo is happy to be a member of the Hounds of Hellfire but he also has blood times to The Family. He does not like to use his connection to The Family but when meets Annika and he needs to use that connection to keep her safe he doesn't hesitate.
Annika is just looking to get a tattoo but her whole world changes when she meets Matteo and gets some bad news about her uncle all at the same time. She knows instantly when Matteo tells her that he will take care of it that she can trust him. They just have to get through this before they can have their happily ever after.

Matteo was struck the moment he heard her and he stepped in to help. I am loving this series with tough club members falling in love with their ladies and protecting them with everything they have. Annika is being targeted by her uncle who wants her money, but Ink isn’t letting him anywhere near her.
The epilogues were a sweet view into the future and I was glad to see she got her desired tattoos.

Ink and Annika were really hot and sweet together. These two really hit the ground running. Ink knew by Annika’s voice that he was drawn to her and when I looked at her, he knew that no one else would every compare. Annika gets some very upsetting news right when she meets Ink and is instantly smitten with him as he takes charge and is willing to do anything and everything for her. These two were great together and I enjoyed the tense moments and the HEA. I can’t for more soon!

Banter!!! Ink (aka Matteo) & Annika have great banter, including during spicy times, & I love them! This was a fun, sweet story with these authors' signature 🔥🌶🔥🌶. Absolutely a joy, this one!
Ink is a BA biker with ties to The Family, and still he manages to be swoony sweet. Such talent! 😉 Annika is his perfect match in several ways, most importantly in how laid back she is. I like her a lot. 😁

I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This was a great MC romance. It was the second book in the series that I have read and I liked this even more that the first. It was a good mix of both MC romance and also some mafia romance and I really enjoyed that. Ink and Annika had an instant attraction and I really enjoyed seeing him fall. I was thoroughly entertained throughout.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
I read this book in one sitting and I loved every second of it. The chemistry and passion between Matteo and Annika was incredible and sizzling. They were made for each other.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a MC, Alpha hero romance then you’re going to love it.

Another Hound bites the dust! Matteo (Ink) finds his ‘old lady’ at the tattoo shop which is just so perfect!!
Especially given his family and his Mama’s push for grand-babies.
Annika is an orphan whose evil uncle is trying to use her money to fund his lifestyle.
It takes a village is so true in the book, and we are so glad Matteo has his brothers and his family behind him!
Hopefully there will be more books in this MC for Onyx etc.

Ink and Annika’s story is the sixth book in The Hounds of Hellfire MC series. She first meets Ink when she goes to get a memorial tattoo for her parents. As soon as he hears her voice he’s drawn to her. When he sees her he knows that she is meant to be his. While there she gets a call from her college that her tuition check has bounced. When this happens Ink steps in and will do whatever needs to be done to make the situation better for her. Their story was a great addition to the series.

It’s everything I expected for the story of Ink, just like the other books of Hounds of Hellfire, the plot catches you from start to finish. Ink met Annika the woman of his life but he has to help her get back what belongs to her and his uncle stole it, also has to keep her safe. This book is even more interesting with those parts where the DeLuca Family interacts, of which I am waiting to know more.

Pure perfection
These guy's stories are similar and on the same way unique. No matter how much they swear they won't fall in love, when it's their time, there is no stopping it. Ink/Matteo meets Annika unexpectedly at the Tattoo studio and from there on out, their story evolves fast. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
